My favorite part is the crispy onion rings stacked on top and the black pepper-crusted beef patty--it gives the burger so much flavor with the perfect little kick. Every bite was delicious! I also have to mention the Buffalo Wings because they're my all-time favorite. They're always cooked just right, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and tossed in the perfect amount of buffalo sauce. I order them almost every time I come because they're just that good. To finish it off, I had the Chocolate Lava dessert, and it was the perfect ending to the meal. The warm brownie underneath the ice cream was soft, rich, and absolutely delicious. The combination of warm brownie, cold ice cream, and chocolate was spot on. This is one of our families favorites! If my daughters are asked where they want to go, this is always the first ask! It's always a plus when you can find somewhere that has good food and kids meals that they'll actually eat, it's a win. All of their salads are good but the bluenami burger is my go too! Islands was overall good. We had an unfortunate snafu with my order, it didn't come out at first, and when it finally did, it wasn't correct. My replacement took another 20+ minutes, so by the time I actually ate, I'd already picked at the chips and some of my daughter's fries, and the rest of the table was basically done. They did remove the item from my ticket, which I genuinely appreciated. Once my warm chicken wrap which is no longer on the menu so I appreciate them making came out it was good! (Ask for hot chicken you won't regret it) Service was fine, just nothing memorable. The chips are usually warm, but this time they came out cold, which was disappointing. BEST FRIES EVER! I love the freshly cut fries at Islands, it's been a bit since I've visited this location as I've been busy. I'm SO glad to be back, there's a uniqueness to Island's burgers and fries. I paired my French fries with a Hula Burger (Mushrooms, Lettuce, Medium Well), it was a great dinner! Food was nasty and service was terrible. I took my mom the day after Mother's Day. That is where she requested to go. I'm certain she will not ask to go here again. They also took her go to club sandwich off the menu. She ate 1/4 of her burger she had to order instead. She had a watered down coke and was never offered a refill. Up in Riverside on Sunday so I decided to stop here. The outside of the restaurant really looks cool and stands out. Brings back memories of when they first opened these restaurants. Currently eating here now but my gf and I came it not knowing they closed at 9 and walked in at 8:57 and simply asked if they were still open. The server Chuck with a smile on his face said "of course" and continued to seat us. They have patiently taken our order and served us as we realized we came in right at closing.
