Kids took me out for dinner to the Yard House. Great service. I had the Steak bowl . Wow it delicious. Great atmosphere too.

Horrible, went in as a single diner and got totally disrespected . Sat in the bar for 10-15 minutes , I guess what happened was I sat in the handicapped section (I didn't know there was no sign). I was told after a few minutes after I got a menu that I might have to move which is completely fine , I didn't know. I went and took an empty seat at the other side of the bar I just didn't want crowd any one. The I was seated at a new spot and I guess since I got a Menu the other bartenders assumed I was being taken care of? Set for another few minutes. Man was he bartenders are inattentive , went to get seated because food options later on Friday gets pretty short and at this point don't care how much u have to pay for a dinner. Ah well they are making plenty of money what do they need me for. I hope Riverside gets better restaurants I shouldn't have to drive to LA or Orange County for a decent place. I love yard house, it's one of my favorite happy hour spots to come to. I always get the poke nachos. My favorite beers are the stupid silly sour and the red trolley and they almost always have it on tap. We came to eat and watch the 49er game and I appreciate the staff for getting us situated in a good spot to watch the game. Arrived and was ready to eat. We were seated fairly quickly which was good. Didn't have to wait long for our waitress to greet us and take our beverage order. We just started with waters. My daughter then ordered a Pink Dragon for her cocktail. When it made it to the table, it looked as though it had been sipped on with the amount that was missing (picture attached). There was a game on so it was a little noisy, but not too bad. I ordered chicken nachos and she ordered the jambalaya. The chef was really Scheffing that day because the food was great. We did ask for the manager because the drink was not full in the glass and she said everything is measured but took the drink away and went and watched the bartender make the drink, and when she returned, there was a full glass with a new drink Way to go manager! all in all it was a good visit and will definitely come back again. read more

My husband and I have been coming here since 2022 when we moved into the Riverside area and we really appreciate this spot for a couple reasons. The service is amazing, they always make sure you are taken care of. The food is good, if you have a complaint they handle it right away. We've been to Yard House more than a dozen times and are always very pleased. Last night we arrived with 30min before closing and despite not having a few items for our entrees (ie. Mashed potatoes for my Rib-eye or rice for the Spicy jambalaya) the substitutes offered were perfect! Not pictured are the chicken lettuce wraps we had as an appetizer which was super satisfying and full of flavor. Our waitress was friendly, and checked in often which was appreciated. Yard House is one of our go-to late night eats when we don't want fast-food. You really can't go wrong with their Happy Hour specials available Mon-Fri from 3 to 6, and we ordered the following: Poke Nachos- 5/5. This is apparently a popular food item and I'm not surprised. You get a serving good for 2 people (maybe 3). I loved the crispy wonton skins and the ginger soy sauce. Great balance of flavors and textures and I would without a doubt order again. Crispy Brussel Sprouts 5/5- I love brussel sprouts and the sweet and spicy flavors of this dish brought my tastebuds tremendous happiness. Another MUST order! Fried Cheese Curds 3/5- a generous portion of what seemed to be fried mozzarella pieces with dipping sauce. It wasn't as crispy as I had hoped and it was just ok. Save your calories for a different dish. Bbq Chicken Pizza 3/5- I don't mind thin crust pizzas, but this was to a point of soggy, making it difficult to hold and eat with your hand. Definitely requires knife and fork for fear of the toppings falling off. Oreo Brookie 5/5- super delicious dessert made with cookie dough Brownie and topped with Vanilla ice cream, Whipped cream and a drizzling caramel sauce. The service here was great - from the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted and sat in a timely manner. Our server was really sweet and was attentive. It was a normal, loud & busy environment as usual. Lots of large parties. The food really lacked at this location. It was soooo salty. The only thing that wasn't salty here was the ketchup and water. We didn't order soda or soft drinks. We started with the poke nachos - drenched in sauce and Serranos. If they gave us as much poke as they did Serranos, that would have been great. The sliders were dry and they gave us a light basket of fried. Very bland. Just salty, however we did ask for no special sauce. The ahi salad was also salty. We tried to minimize it and cut the vinaigrette with citrus but so disappointing. read more

Food wasn't bad, but what is up with it smelling like an uncleaned Port-A-Potty outside? We were from out of town and made a reservation for 6 online, and was told it was about a 30-45 minute wait. We waited about 10-15 minutes before heading out to YH, and when we arrived there were still 6-7 people ahead of us. But because most were for a party of 2 we figured.it wouldn't be long and waited out. But then we noticed the awful small right outside of the restaurant where the benches were. Not sure if this was just an issue on this night or if it's a common issue, but we contemplated actually leaving. Eventually our table was ready and we were seated. Our waitress was really nice and took our drinks and appetizer orders quickly. Once ready our main meals were arrived as well and everything looked good, but my son's pizza seemed to be served slightly cold. Because as he went to remove a slice, all of the cheese was firmly stuck together and came off all at once. Leaving the rest of his pizza to just be bread and sauce. We told him to just order something else with our waitress apologized for, and took a new order for him which we appreciated and thanked her for. I've been ordering this meal about once a week because it's usually my favorite, the grilled cheese and tomato bisque, is normally so cheesy, flavorful, and comforting. But the last two or three times, it's been disappointing. The sandwich only had one slice of cheese and no tomatoes inside. It felt more like two dry slices of toast pressed together than the warm, melty sandwich I've come to love. I did call to let them know, and while the manager was polite and said he'd send a credit and speak to the team, I haven't received anything yet. even the soup portions felt smaller than usual. Came back home to Riverside this weekend, and my family and I decided to give this classic restaurant a chance. Food definitely did not disappoint especially their appetizers and their cheaply priced cocktails and drinks. I personally got the Ahi Tuna crusted with EVERYTHING seasoning sandwich, and although it was yummy it was definitely on the saltier side because of the overload of sauces mixed with the heavily seasoned tuna. Fish and Chips my brother ordered was crazy large, and moreeee than worth the price with the portion alone. However, he did mention the coleslaw was lacking in flavor but the batter on fish was perfect. Big sister's lobster garlic noodles were yummy, but definitely over-priced because of the lobster and is not worth it in my opinion. Appetizers of chicken nachos and calamari were delectable, and honestly would make me recommend this place as a spot for sharing an app with friends and drinking some not too badly priced drinks for a good time.
