Very good happy hour here M-F 2:00-5:30. Reasonable prices by Waikiki standards, friendly and attentive staff and good pub grub fare food. Centrally located in the heart of Waikiki, extensive beer list. A must on your itinerary while in Waikiki.

One of the best happy hours in all of Waikiki. They have a lot of items at half off during happy hour. Check out the boneless wings, spinach artichoke dip, chicken lettuce wraps, sliders, and don't forget to have a beer and ask for Brian as your server!!

The yard house has the best hospitality & customer service! I wasn't happy with my meal & they brought it back with no hesitations & fixed it! The chef came out to personally check if the food was to my liking. The manager came out to talk to me & offered me something for the meantime. My sever was the absolute best, shoutout to Ernesto!! I sat outside today & the weather was perfect. Always good time at the Yard House!

Haven't been to Yardhouse in years but happy that I stopped in recently. The menu was extensive and ofcourse they have a TON of beers, seltzer, ciders on draft. The wait for a table was about 10 min but the bar and the Hightops behind the bar are open seating so we sat there. They have fall seasonal beers and a Pumpkin spice beer which I loved served with a sugar rim so yummy! The blue cheese and bacon burger was pretty good too! What really made the experience was Ernesto! Our server took excellent care of us and was very friendly and professional. He allowed us to sample a few beers before we decided and that was so nice thank you. Excellent service and great time!

So to start, if you stay at the Embassy Suites Waikiki, you get a 10% discount. Nice little perk of the hotel. Because it is connected to the hotel - easy and fast to get to. Food was excellent tonight. Great portion size and not over- or under-seasoned. We got there at the end of happy hour so the place was a bit busy - our server missed a few items or didn't check on a beer we ordered - which came as we were paying the check...

Burger - not worth it. Extremely overcooked.

Party of 3 on a Thursday night at approximately 7:30. Wait time: we were seated right away. Parking: No business parking. I recommend parking at Hale Koa outdoor lot within walking distance. Street parking is very very limited. Service: our server was quick and friendly. Drinks: They have a huuuuuge selection of beers both local and mainland. Food: The food here is the reason why the rating is only 3 stars. The burger was not cooked to the right temp and tastes dry. Fries tasted old as if they had been sitting under a food lamp for too long. The vampire tacos were lacking in flavor. The chicken sandwich was just okay.

We were warmly welcomed in and as I had a mobility scooter, the hostess put us at a table with room to store the scooter while we ate. It's an open air brew pub with high end finishes and touches, but with overall darker wood tones. Popular music of a wide variety played over the speakers, and I sang along, because, why not; We are on vacation. We ordered sweet potato fries to start, along with the mango cider and the guava cider (I preferred the mango). For lunch we ordered the tacos a la carte. The best by far was the Korean Chicken tacos, although the others were good too. Finally, shout out to our server, Mayz. She was super friendly, energetic, and followed up a few minutes after our food came out, and kept up on out drinks. Yard House has a treasure in her. I would recommend Yard House to anyone who likes elevated pub food with an international flair.

Food: delicious! Ordered the seafood jambalaya, a club sandwich (don't remember the actual name), and noodles (appetizer). Everything tasted awesome!! Service: they were super busy, not our waitress remembered to always check on us. Ambiance: nice and clean! Table turnaround was fast. This place never disappoints!

So a few of us decided to grab some dinner in Waikiki as our time there drew to a close. I was able to get us a table with no wait and we got our order in pretty quickly. I grabbed a beer and the Whiskey Glazed Salmon. The beer was not what I expected, but I was good since I took a shot in the dark. As for the salmon, that was amazing. Cooked perfectly and the glaze was the right amount of sweetness. The rice and veggies pairs nicely as well. It was a nice and simple dinner and I thoroughly enjoyed. We stayed a bit and chatted and that made the night even better. Pay a visit if in Waikiki.

Despite being a chain, this is a great spot in Waikiki to stop in for bites and drinks. The cocktails are balanced, and they have an impressive selection of beers on tap. Friendly service with a typical bar type atmosphere. They also have a very nice happy hour.

Ahi nachos, very good

I don't usually take the time to review chain restaurants unless something stands out good or bad. In this case. We had a really good experience with someone named Val. She greeted us asses her names and helped us out with our beer selections and food selections. Even though the bar was quite busy, she always took the time to find out if we needed something or asked how things were. As much as she was hustling. I was surprised she even made the effort but she did and we are appreciative of that. We came in during the happy hour so we had three appetizers and all three were delicious. The first was the ahi nachos which were gone in almost an instant because they tasted that good. Next up we had the seared ahi tuna which was quite plentiful and for happy hour half price, a very good deal. Lastly, we had the calamari rings which were okay but nothing spectacular. I think that would be the only appetizer we would not order again here. There was a baseball game going on and it got quite loud at times but that's what happens when you have about 20 TVs in a bar area with a lot of alcohol.

We went during happy hour :) We got there around 2PM and waited about 15 minutes! It's 50% off appetizers and pizzas, not the main menu. The steak was really good, very soft and chewy. You should definitely order it :):) The quality was really good for the price!

This place is always fun to stop by with a group of people. I usually come with friends and family. Not exactly date night spot for me because of how loud it can get. Easiest way is to get here on a moped. If not, I take the car and park at the hotel behind with validated parking. You'll have to make a reservation just because it's in Waikiki and can get busy. They open late so most people tend to come here because it's the only this open. But their staff works hard and fast to get people in and out. Lots of food on the menu to select from. Nothing crazy stands out to me as the best of the best. Everything is as it is, and their food is good. I don't think I've had anything bad here. They also can get crafty with their drinks, so it's good to have options from draft, what they brew, and what they can create.

A special thank you to Jessica K. for her incredible service and excellent recommendations. The dinner menu offered so many delicious options that it was difficult to choose! We started with a Blood Orange Margarita and a Grapefruit Basil Martini - both were refreshing and absolutely delicious. From the spring menu, we selected two appetizers: Eggplant Arancini and Lamb Skewers. All we can say is - WOW! Truly outstanding. Although we were already quite full, we decided to share the Macadamia-Nut-Crusted Fresh Catch. Once again, everything from the flavor and temperature to the presentation was five-star quality. The fish was perfectly tender with a wonderfully crunchy crust. The almond rice was an excellent accompaniment, and the grilled asparagus was the best we've had in a long time - perfectly cooked. For dessert, we had the Pineapple Crème Brûlée. Make sure to save room for this - it's smooth, silky, and absolutely delicious. A big thank you to everyone working in the kitchen and behind the bar on April 26 at 7:00 pm - you all did an incredible job. And thank you again, Jessica K., for making our experience so memorable! The next day, we returned for happy hour on the rooftop. Once again, everything was fantastic: Ahi Tuna Tacos, Ahi Poke, guacamole, and beer - fresh and delicious. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Waikiki. Highly recommended a great choice for a lovely Hawaiian experience!

Also, I didn't get his name but the other server who helped us when Jeremiah went on lunch was also excellent. Overall, a great experience, we might go to the rooftop next time.

MĀZE was the standout highlight meal of my trip to Hawaii this year. The chef's menu with drink…read morepairing was easily Michelin-star worthy. Taste, presentation, service, ambiance -- MĀZE really had it all nailed down. If there's one meal you should book for your trip, make it MĀZE. Although the menu looks short, it is deceptively filling. You start off your meal with a few amuse bouche bites. It's really a wonderful start, because the salmon toast was one of the best bites I had all night. The smoked salmon was melt in your mouth tender and the toast was fried to perfection. Another bite I really enjoyed early on was their "Fat bastard" oyster. I've never had this type of oyster before, but this one was especially plump, sweet, and had just the right amount of brininess to it. There's honestly not a single straightforward bite across the courses: everything has layers upon layers of flavor and a complexity that really accentuates the talent of the head chef. After the first course, there's an option to add a supplemental course for $34 -- a "Wagyu musubi". I cannot emphasize enough that this addition is a must. If you're coming as a couple, it's large enough that you're able to share a single one so that each person gets two bites. This bite is as delicious as it looks. The Wagyu is rich and fatty, and the crispy nori is the textural element that breaks up the melt-in-your-mouth texture of the beef. The tare delicately brushed on top adds a bit of saltiness to the dish and doesn't take away from the enjoyment and appreciation of the Wagyu itself. Another bite that I'll forever remember is the Jeju abalone dish. Served over a bed of finely minced edamame and served in a chicken jus, the dish had sweet, savory, umami, and all the right textures. I ate this dish especially slowly because I wanted to savor each and every bite for as long as possible. The abalone is tender and cooked perfectly -- not rubbery whatsoever. I overheard a chef saying that the tasting menu changes every month, and we had visited when they were mid-cycle. I believe some of the permanent menu items include the bourbon barrel smoked salmon toast and the wagyu musubi, but I really hope to see the Jeju abalone dish again someday when I visit in the future. Since MĀZE is from the the duo behind the famous cocktail bar -- Bar Leather Apron, just down the street, you would expect nothing less than extraordinary cocktails for the cocktail pairing. I can confidently say that there was not a single drink pairing that I was disappointed with -- both on the alcoholic and non-alcoholic side. My favorite cocktail of the night was their take on an Old Fashioned that was served with the Washugyu flat iron galbi course. I simply cannot say enough good things about MĀZE. Do yourself a favor and book a reservation right after you book your plan tickets to Oahu -- you won't regret it.

So glad I went with the cocktail pairing bc I wanted the whole experience. It was really lovely and fun to sit at the counter watching all the young people assemble the food so carefully and our bartender craft our drinks. Each drink was perfect - either refreshing or light or sweet or smoky and really did complement each dish. My fave was the egg white gin one that came with the fish course. My fave foods were the charred lettuce that came with the meat course and the shave ice was superb - corn syrup and plenty of black sesame it was not too sweet and so refreshing! Overall a very special meal and a place to keep in the rotation for special occasions. I'd say definitely go with the cocktail pairings bc that is what makes this place unique. Also if you want to get some courses with a mocktail instead of getting all four as cocktails they will accommodate that - then you don't need to get as tipsy. I wanted to try all the cocktails so I just didn't end up finishing each drink - not bc they weren't delicious, they were! I just didn't want to go past pleasantly buzzed. We didn't get any add ons and were still full by the end of the meal. Clean bathrooms and bright space and awesome service. Not a single misstep.
