Still one our favorite places in Waikiki we enjoy sitting at the bar. The food is really good for a chain restaurant. Pumpkin spice beer last night was yummy! Some of our favorites are yhe Jambalaya, kale/romaine salad, clubhouse, and tacos.

Service here was sooooo bad. Came on a Thursday evening, and it was not terribly busy. Our server was not attentive. We only got dessert, which was ok. It took an extremely long time for us to get our dessert, You pay your bill at the table, thankfully, so we didn't have to wait for a check. I had to get up and ask for a box because no one was checking up on us.

    Happy hour deals!!

Yard House hands down has the best happy hour deals on this island. Not only do they offer half off select appetizers and pizzas, but it also runs from 2-6pm (M-F)! That's crazy good. The portions are LARGE and the quality of food is good. My favorites so far: Poke Nachos - they are generous with the poke and the flavor is perfect. You really cannot go wrong with $12 on this one. Pizza - large and nice crispy thin crust. The cheese and pepperoni are fresh. Calamari - crispy and fresh, the flavors are there and this goes perfectly with pretty much anything. Spinach Dip - I actually really loved the spinach dip here because it's super cheesy hot and fresh. Even the chips are delicious. I could probably eat one order of these on my own it was so good. In the past I have also tried the nacho dip (beware this is HUGE), chicken tenders, sliders, and salad cups - and they were all good. You really can't go wrong with Yard House Happy Hour. This is the perfect spot if you have a group and you don't want to break the bank. The service has always been good here as well.

Poke nachos, good but not worth an hour wait.

Could have been better, we stopped in this afternoon for some drinks and a quick bite to eat. During a shift change we were asked if we wouldn't mind paying up and the next shift could finish taking care of us. But we were finished already just waiting on our poke nachos which actually never came. The wait person realized this and went ahead and put the order in so I think all in all we waited almost 1± hour for our poke nachos. We ended up getting a separate check just for that and although it was much cheaper during happy hour there was no real I'm sorry type of feeling expressed.

We visited as a party of four with a baby and a toddler. We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated fairly quickly despite how busy the restaurant was. The atmosphere is lively and definitely geared toward people who enjoy drinks with their meal, so it can get a little loud. Even so, the staff was accommodating to our family. My husband and I shared the lobster garlic noodles and the poke nachos. Both portions were generous and perfect for splitting. We got a grilled chicken on the kids menu, and it was okay. Overall, it was a great dining experience with delicious food, a vibrant atmosphere, and reasonable wait times even without a reservation. We'd definitely come back.

Relaxing while the Mrs gets some pampering done. An Ommegang and a Gulden Draak ... if you know, you know . Rory behind the bar took good care of me. We'll be back

We have been in Waikiki for 12 days we come every year, our go-to is the Yard House which is one of many restaurants we really enjoy. the food is exceptional. The service is absolutely exceptional as well and you can't beat the ambience with the good music and people watching. Our server was Liv she knocked it out of the park. Unbelievable service. Very very happy both my wife and I. As for dinner, I had the pork chop which is absolutely delicious and my wife had the shrimp tacos which was equally delicious. Unbelievable job guys! See you next year!

Best selection of brews we've found on the Island so far. Service from Tanner was 5's outstanding. Everyone from the hostesses, to the server to the bartenders go out of their way to satisfy. Our second visit already this week as we return to enjoy happy hour and 1/2 off a good number of select appetizers and $2 - $4 off beers ( depending on the size and style). I'm sure we'll be back again before we leave !!! Mahalo

They have a real good happy hour. Food was good & drinks at a good price. Had a happy vibe and service was good. We had a great waiter. I forgot his name but I did take a picture with him haha. I would go again

Felt like beer night so we walked from Ala Moana and skipped the line to get a bar seating. Half-yard beer was amazing and so was the pineapple beer! Also ordered food and I was so impressed by the cook on this steak and cilantro chicken. Steak was perfectly medium rare and it's definitely on par with a steak house. $50 for a 20oz ribeye is hard to beat around here. Service was amazing as well with quick and professional staff. Definitely going again!

If you are down in Waikiki and want to take advantage of a really good happy hour I recommend Yard House. During my first visit I did their beer flight to try 4 different local beers and really enjoyed it. Good bar food and they were quick to bring my daughter her meal when we ordered, really appreciated that. Not too loud or too much going on but a good amount of people coming and going. Second visit our server made great recommendations and I really liked the Lilikoi Margarita.

Came here prior to our flight back home, and did not disappoint! May-Z was a great waitress, who kept refilling our waitress and providing us great food choices. Definitely going back when we're in Waikiki!

Follow up-went back for lunch. I got the Korean Cheesesteak Sandwich-excellent! My wife got the Kale Salad with shrimp...also very good. Good service at the bar, and they had surfing (haven't seen that in a long time as a mainlander), and the Olympics.

Looks like I have my restaurant and what I'm going to eat. So once dinner time hit, I head over to Basalt! The Prime Rib was delicious. Perfectly cooked and tender. It comes with mashed potatoes, vegetable medley, and creamy horseradish and au jus sauce. Ah everything was delicious! I finished it all! Washed it down with a Basalt Mai Tai! For dessert - I got the Mochi Brownie. Mmm.. Mmm.. So good! Also got hooked up with a scoop of vanilla gelato! (Make this a thing! Lol). I was stuffed and had to get some steps in before heading back to the hotel. Lol. Service - Really good and friendly. An old friend knew we were heading back and sent me an IG post where Māze x Bar Leather Apron were doing a collab on Mon and Tues. Sjnce we didn't have dinner plans, we showed up at around 4:40 only to see 1 other person waiting in line as we were searching for parking. To our surprise, there were 7 people in front of us by the time we lined up! Sadly we were seated at a high top table off in the corner as a lady took the last open seat. For this collab, they didn't have a ton of food items so ordering was fairly straight forward, ordered 1 of everything. First cocktail I had was the pepper-tonic which was quite tasty! Otsumami - consisted of 3 snacks (seasoned cashews, pickled cabbage and warm olives). Thought the pickled cabbage was quite tasty and the cashews were just so so. Skipped the olives since I'm not a fan but the wifey enjoyed them. Salmon - it was mentioned that this was the chef's signature dish but sadly was mediocre for me. The salmon had a very distinct flavor which I wasn't a fan of. Wagyu - tartare on potato paves which was sadly just ordinary for me. thought the tartare lacked flavor. Cheese - unique twist of what i was expecting. the flavor of the dish was good but wished there was more of a crunch to it. this wasn't hot when it was brought out so perhaps it was sitting a bit before it was served to us. Fries - likely my favorite dish for the night but sadly our order seemed like 1/2 everyone else's portion as our bowl was half filled while other customers were filled to the top. ended up ordering another order just to snack on while I enjoyed the imperial cocktail. Enjoyed the casual ambience of this collab but sadly not sure we'd come back for a regular set meal in the future. This week's menu seems to be more thought out and wished they had their "baked potato" last week. Will definitely head back to Bar Leather Apron as their drinks were fantastic!

Solera is located in the Ritz Carlton hotel with free valet and a beautiful view. This is an open air restaurant but despite the humidity it was actually really cool, temperature wise. My husband and I dined here last minute after a failed attempt at trying omakase (another story for another day) and we were happily surprised with how great of a time we had. The receptionist was super kind and took a few pictures without complaint of my husband and I, and our server was very nice as well. No complaints on the service. Now, onto the food. We ordered: - Ku'uipo (Sweetheart) Seafood Platter: Super fresh and tasty! It came with two shrimps, two oysters, lump crab, and ahi poke. The lump crab was surprisingly really good and there was a LOT. I only wish that there was some type of cracker or toast to eat with it. Otherwise you're pretty much eating lump crab by itself- not that that's a bad thing, but something to compliment it would have been ideal. - A5 Wagyu Deviled Eggs: I've never tried these before but they were actually really delicious! Super cute and perfect as a one bite appetizer. Definitely get the caviar on top if you can as well. - Miso Butterfish: This was pretty good but honestly it was HUGE. I couldn't eat the whole thing but I appreciated that it wasn't tiny. I think it came with way too much of the rice, but everything was pretty tasty together. - Butcher's Special Steak Cut: Really, really good. The steak was perfectly cooked. How can you go wrong? - Complimentary Birthday Dessert: I don't know exactly what it was, but it was so cute and really good! Overall, Solera is a pretty solid place for a nice date night or a special occasion. The only thing that knocks it from a 5 star to a 4 is that it is on the expensive side especially for an ala-carte menu. They do have a chef's pre-fixe menu at $100 per person which is much more reasonable, but we didn't care for the pre-fixe menu items at the time of visiting. Regardless, I'll definitely be back when I want to splurge on a dinner!
