My friends and I came here for happy hour on a friday and were pleased by how good the prices were for both drinks and food! $6 was a good deal. I liked the kalbi burgers, however the bao bun, hot chicken sandwich, and fish katsu were a bit dry. The drinks were pretty good we got the frozen lilikoi margaritas and pina colada. Overall ambiance was nice although we did get put in a small booth that was available for 5 of us but made it work. I usually don't like to drop names but our server Danielle N, had made a mistake in our bill and didn't own up to it. She was very sweet initially with order recommendations and consistently checked in with us and also got a little too excited when we said we can put the bill under one card (easier for her, didn't want to complicate split 5 ways). However, when it came time to pay the bill, she came over with the checkbook but took our card right away without letting us see the bill and charged it.... We assumed maybe she was in a rush to close but still suspected something was off. When she brought the check back for us to sign she immediately walked away and was gone for almost 10 mins. We looked at our bill and noticed this was somebody else's order and the items were completely off. We held off on signing and didn't see her till later and when we confronted her, instead of owning up to it, she kept GASLIGHTING US with a degrading tone that "it's only off by $1". Mind you we put this all on one card and wanted to review and split it between us later and she kept DISRESPECTFULLY ignoring what we said and that the total is basically the same. Whoever's bill we got had already left, and they came past happy hour so the items were also not at the price we paid but total just came out around the same. SHE HAD THE AUDACITY TO EVEN TRY TO GIVE US A $1 BILL but we just wanted her to own up to it that she made the mistake. It was only a dollar different but imagine if it wasn't... we were not gonna be left with somebody else's bill TO WHICH SHE JUST CHARGED OUR CARD IMMEDIATELY....
Amazing service from Chad at the outdoor bar. I stopped by right after 8pm which is start of night shift specials including $6 local draft beer and great $8, $10 and $12 app choices. I had the Korean Fried Chicken ("KFC") and the fresh catch tostado - both very good! Great outdoor atmosphere right off the sidewalk and island tunes. Don't pass by this place.
My favorite Waikiki happy hour spot, 1st time trying the newer menu and it did not disappoint! Service is amazing, food is piping hot and staff are quick to get everything out! And the happy hour deals cannot be beat!
We visited for a celebration, hoping to get away from the crowds. While they had quite a few patrons, we lucked out with a booth inside. This was exactly the kind of breakfast spot that we were looking for - ono food options, good coffee, and locally inspired menu and decor. We also loved the Jawaiian music playing overhead. I got the Mahi'ai (farmer's) omelet with Waialua eggs. So good. Came with seasoned hashbrown patties. They also have a keiki menu. Would definitely visit again. Parking in the Lilia Waikiki hotel which can be accessed from Walina Street.
A cute open space area where you can grab drinks and small bites. Their menu is pretty limited so not a lot to choose from. I tried their loco moco and was disappointed that they used frozen beef patty. It was dry and bland and it costed $21.

I was here during opening hours on a Monday before a flight, so naturally there weren't any customers yet. We were greeted and sat down promptly by a very friendly lady. There's an option to sit in their outdoor area facing out into the sidewalk or inside. We went with inside thinking it would be a little warmer but were met with the opposite. It wasn't too bad though, so we had no issue sticking with our choice. I decided to come here because I read their price point was decent, and can confirm. The menu doesn't have a ton of options, but I think they do a great job of having a little bit for everyone depending on what you're craving. There are some sweets, some small, and what looks like healthier bites, and some savory dishes. I decided to go with the kalua pork burrito and was very happy with my choice. Good portion, great ratios, and really enjoyed the side of tomatoes and salsa. The salsa wasn't really spicy in my opinion, but still packed a lot of flavor. I usually don't use all of my sauce, but I was cleaning it up with my burrito at the end. If you're looking for more of a punch, you can just ask for a side of hot sauce as well. We were in and out ahead of schedule, and paid around $50 for three of us to get a meal, with one coffee. An excellent way to round off our trip.
Poke tasted off - odd flavor profile. The sampler platter was pretty good. Service was slow and inconsistent. Our server went off shift in the middle of the meal and it took the new server forever to pick our table up. Nice bar area, was loud with all of the traffic on Kuhio avenue passing by.
Best $5 happy hour burger on the island!!! The bao buns are so good on their garlic Parmesan Fries are fresh, and crispy!! Lots and lots of garlic. We love this place. Service is fast, the open kitchen always seems clean. We love to be able to eat indoor or out. We love coming here and we love their happy hour! Drinks are pretty good! We come about twice a month! I do think the bathroom could be kept up better.
Located on the first floor of the Waikiki Market. We came back because of their $5 Happy Hour. Ordered the Kalbi Burgers and the Bao Bun. I enjoyed my local draft beer. Our server Danielle was super friendly and gave great recommendations on what to do while in Oahu. On this visit, I just wished their restroom was cleaner. Great food and deaft beer! Friendly service.
Looking for an amazing place to chill, has bar bites, and validated parking? Piko can be your place. They have two amazing and delicious bites that I crave for: Pork bao- fatty, oily, applewood, braise pork 5/5 Kalbi burger - juicy and would have been better without the Kim Chee. 4/5 Service is good, on point, and with smiles. Seating is available inside and outside. Take your pick.
Came for happy hour around 5pm ordered the Kalbi burger and garlic noodles with egg. The kalbi burger was only $5 and we each got one thinking they'd be small but they were actually bigger than a McDonald's cheeseburger. The patty was cooked medium and the addition of kimchi on the burger as it added this acidity and tang to the overall flavor profile. The garlic noodles with egg were not on the HH menu but totally worth it for $12. The soft boiled egg gave the noodles this rich creaminess and I enjoyed the texture of the noodles. The dish had some heat to it and I liked how spicy it was, it was at an enjoyable spice level. My husband got a yuzu cocktail and said it was really tart and yummy as well!
$5 burger and bao are so worth it!!!! I hope they never stop it. Our go-to when in Waikiki always. Servers are wonderful. You can people watch on Kuhio. The sampler was not that great and forgot that since last year. Putting this here so we remember each year we visit.
As I searched for dinner options on my first night in Honolulu, I walked past Piko Kithchen & Bar and was immediately intrigued. The large, open-air space on Kuhio Ave., beneath Waikiki Market, is stylish, comfortable, and inviting, especially for someone dining solo. As I sat down at the bar, I was immediately greeted by a friendly bartender/server. I chose a great spot for my first Hawaiian meal! My first order of business was to order a world-famous Blue Hawaiian, which was delicious, (albeit looking more like a Green Hawaiian than a blue one!). For dinner, I decided to sample three of their signature dishes. Their PuPu Sampler is a menu option featuring three 'tapas' from their menu: Kalua Pork Spring Roll, Chicken Long Rice Gyoza, and Hawaiian Beef Jerky. All I can say is wow! These dishes are packed with such amazing flavor, I'm sure that any of the three would make for a great dinner choice all on their own. While there are so many dining options yet to explore here on Oahu, I'm definitely going to return to Piko before I go home! Nice spot, great, quality food!

We went to Piko for happy hour and were really impressed! The drinks were affordable, and I was shocked by the portion sizes for only $6. Despite the low prices, the food was also great quality. I especially loved the kalbi burger. We were initially seated outside, but it was a bit too hot for us. The hostess was very kind and happily moved us inside to the dining room, where there was AC. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend Piko for happy hour! read more

It's in a great location with both, indoor and outdoor seating. Our server was super nice and quick with bringing our food out. The wings and tostadas were really yummy! We were expecting our plates to come with sides, but everything was à la carte. It sort of pushes you to order sides, which is why we got fries to fill up our stomachs more. read more
Quick bites in Waikiki. Tried this spot and am happy to say I liked what I ordered. Had the Crispy Adobo chicken wings and the Hot Honey Chicken Sando. They come ala carte no sides, but very tasty. Indoor & outdoor seating available. Inside had AC. They also have an outside patio bar for drinks. Service was good and food prepared in an open kitchen. read more

Kanaaaaaaaaaak attack of the Kitchen Sink!!!!! Yup hungry for bfast - tummy wouldn't stop complaining! Kalua pig, brisket, hash, spinach, tomato, avocado, ahhhhhhh happy palate. Now, I usually like to spice my food up a smidge with some hot chili sauce or something a lil extra. Folks - when u order this - get some side of the cucumber kimchi - yer palate and tummy will thank you for that umami bomb exploding in yer mouth! K bough said! Ambiance Restaurant Piko has a fun, casual atmosphere with a half-indoor, half-outdoor setup that provides shade while keeping an open-air feel. The space feels upscale yet remains surprisingly affordable for Waikīkī. Service was fine but they seemed pretty understaffed. Food Garlic Fries ($8) Fluffy and well-fried, these North Shore-style garlic fries were rich and satisfying. The garlic topping was generous and flavorful and crunchy, though the butter richness might be best enjoyed in portions--ideal to save some for leftovers. $5 Burger (Happy Hour ends at 6pm) A solid burger with a noticeable kimchi slaw flavor that was well-balanced and not overpowering. While the patty seemed uniform enough to suggest it was likely premade or frozen, it still tasted good and was excellent value at $5. The pickles were good Asian style pickles. The slaw stayed crisp without dripping or soaking the bun. read more

We tried out Piko for their happy hour and it was delicious! They have $5 burgers, baos and beers! Service was fast and it wasn't super crowded at the start of the happy hour. Food was delicious and the cocktails were really good too! They also have some specials, like mango soft serve and it was really good and refreshing too! They have some specialty cocktails too, so definitely try it out. Happy hour starts at 2-6pm and live music starts at 6pm! Will come back for their dinner menu! read more
We've been checking out happy hours around town and Piko's caught our attention because of their $5 Burgers and Baos. The burger is a kalbi flavored burger with kim chee slaw, sauce and Japanese pickles. It's about one of the best $5 burgers I've had. It's a generous size and flavored well, very tasty. The $5 bao is good but different since the meat is bacon. It's also complemented with cilantro and hoisin sauce. In addition to these two main attractions, we had the pupu sampler; Chicken long rice gyoza, kalua pork spring rolls, and Hawaiian beef jerky. We also ordered the fried maitake mushrooms, watercress namul, crispy potato poke, and garlic chicken wings. My favorites were the gyoza, spring rolls, watercress, and chicken wings. The other items were okay but I wouldn't order them again. Service was very good and the outdoor dining area was breezy and comfortable. There was also live entertainment and they are pet friendly, which was nice. I would definitely come back to this happy hour for the $5 burgers, baos, and live entertainment! read more

Fact: Everything in Waikiki is expensive... but Piko Kitchen + Bar said, "Hold my beer, we got $5 specials during Happy Hour." Located on Kūhiō Street with breezy open-air vibes, this spot drops a serious cheat code every Monday through Friday from 2pm to 6pm. And get this: three Happy Hour heavy hitters, all just $5 each. Not "Waikiki $5" where you get two fries and a wink... actual, satisfying, flavor-packed eats. You've got options: A Kalbi cheeseburger that's not baby-sized--it's thick, juicy, and comes stacked with kim chee lettuce on a warm bun Pork belly bao buns served in pairs, each hugging a slab of flavorful meat between pillowy-soft buns And beer, full pours, with an actual list to choose from. Yes, choices. Too good to be true? I thought so too. But this isn't a tourist trap, it's a hidden gem with real portions and real flavor, all without breaking the bank. If you're ballin' on a vacation budget, Piko's Happy Hour is the move. read more

I think they hide the chairs during happy hour. And the hostess didn't seem happy to see us, but was all smiles when we left. But, it's a fun place for people watching. Especially when they point to tables without chairs and offer to sit on their rolling suitcases. Anyway, I got the $5 happy hour bao bun, which was good because it has yummy, super crispy, bacon, but bad because it was super chewy and felt like pork gum. Which isn't as bad as it sounds, actually. Like get some Pig League Chew. Also got the big $5 happy hour burger. The garlic fries were dripping in garlic butter, but the chicken satay was tough. Free refills on soda. Good service. read more
Tip #1 : Parking in the Lilia Waikiki was a hard pass for us. Would not recommend.. Limited space, elevators don't work, we don't live in the building so to access the structure was hard without a key.. We had to walk up the garage ramp just to get back to our car on the 2nd floor.. They do validate parking 2hrs for $4 - leaving the structure the machine wasn't working either so we had to call the attendant which questions us on why we can't go out.. First of all sir.. We ate at the restaurant, your elevators aren't working, the doors are all key access only and your machine to leave is not working either. We had a reservation for 6:30PM but thankfully got seated earlier by the host. OUTSIDE Seating only - lots of foot traffic and bus sounds since it's on the main road of Kuhio. There was indoor seating but the vent is not working so they only sat people outside. BUSY for Happy hour so definitely get there earlier. The service was great! Our server was fast & friendly. Drinks and food tasted amazing and worth its price. Highly recommend getting the mango ice cream, we most definitely will be back for that. Live music on a Friday Night was great! Airy and modern, this welcoming restaurant beckons with incredible happy hour deals. My husband went for the $5 Piko burger a couple of times and enjoyed the juicy patty and island inspired fixings. There are not too many options (if any) for pescatarian or vegetarian dishes with the happy hour discount, but the regular menu offers some winners. I loved the noodles with egg. Our waitress Cindy was very friendly and had great recommendations on the food and drinks. Sit at the bar facing out to Kuhio for some of the most entertaining people watching in Waikiki! read more

Came here to try their Strawberry Guava Pancakes. It was huge, and tasted so good! The pancakes were nice and fluffy! The sauce wasn't too sweet. I loved the strawberry shortbread crumble on top! Service was good too! Very nice people! Loved that the restaurant was open-aired. It was nice eating breakfast, enjoying the Hawaiian atmosphere. read more

My bestie and I had dinner here last night and Chad served us... he was the best! So kind and personable. He made us strong and delicious drinks. We had the kalua pork egg rolls, chili green beans, steak, and mango soft serve. Would totally recommend coming here especially if Chad is working! read more
