We have dined at this establishment but years ago. We previously have eaten in the main dining room. It is now sectioned off in different areas. I just looked today and it is now closed until June 5. Maybe they are doing renovations. We came for Mother's Day. I was a little nervous because it's been years since we have eaten here and it appeared to look like a lot of tourists eating here. I'm Thai and I was wondering if I was going to be disappointed. I remember the food being OK so I kept an open mind. I decided to order something I normally would not which is the clay pot crab with glass noodles. it was OK. The crab didn't have a huge prominent taste and glass noodles are just meh to me. We also ordered the crab fried rice which was exceptional. I would definitely order that again. There was so much flavor in the rice. I also ordered a yum salad with tofu. That was also good. I loved the chili lime dressing and the added cilantro made it taste even more fresh. The lettuce leaves were huge though. I'm not sure why they were the size of a hamburger patty. It made for eating the salad challenging and messy. My kid had the salmon curry. She loved it. She doesn't handle spice so she asked for a level 2. Level two was spicy for her but she was able to eat it. Being Thai I did not feel it was spicy at all. But it did have a little bit of heat. The Mr ordered the crispy garlic chicken. It was a huge plate of it. He said it was good. He also ordered beef masuman. I will say that the portion seemed tiny. He said it was also good. I actually was pleasantly surprised this time around as I remember coming years ago and it was just OK. About the music. I did read lots of comments about their music Choice. It's not classical but jazz. To my astonishment it was extremely loud. The music Choice was not the issue but the loudness of it. I'm not sure if they tried to make it loud to sound like live music or not. We couldn't even talk to each other because we would've ended up shouting. That's really our only complaint. read more

An high end Thai restaurant in the Royal Hawaiian. Pleasant ambience, indoor seating with AC as well as outdoor tables on the terrace of the complex. Lots of wine and cocktail choices, although non-alcoholic options are limited, I which they had more since alcohol consumption is on decline. We ordered alcohol free piña colada which was quite delicious. Do not expect bargain prices since this is fine dining. As of 2026 cocktails are around $15, appetizers $20, mains are $30+. Almost all mains have different protein choices. We ordered summer rolls which were good but not special. We followed up with lamb masaman curry, which was tasty and well presented. We also ordered sauteed egg plant which was beautifully presented but had rather mind flavor. Overall the food quality was good however for the price I expected something truly excellent. We came for lunch and it was fairly quiet, so we got to meet both the host, the water and the manager. Although all were polite, the manager was the most pleasant, professional and attentive. I wish the rest of staff was just as welcoming. I think the restaurant deserves its current four starts: good food, pleasant atmosphere, varied service and somewhat high prices. read more

It is located right next to a bunch of shopping areas and the beach. So perfect location to have dinner after a long day's vacation. Two of us ate here for dinner with one in the party being a pescetarian. We had Pad Sei-lew (Black Noodles), fried Shrimp cakes as appetizers, and Spicy Thai Basil Stir-Fry* (Khao Ka Prow) with Beef for an extra charge. Crying tiger beef was good, no chili as we wanted, mild requested sauce. Mee calm with items to be wrapped in leaf, was very good, several insert items were cut to right size. Service average, little slow with our drinks, ice, and extra napkins and serving spoons. Ambiance was nicer inside than outside where you get a lot of mall noise like maintenance people cleaning floors, moving carts. No view of anything, recommend dining inside. Great Thai restaurant. I decided that since this week we are closer to Asia than normal, we had to try some Thai food. Noi Thai Cuisine satisfied. Our server, Izzy, was great. Very helpful. Two tasty tropical-esque cocktails got us started, followed by Crab Wonton and Crispy Spring Rolls. The spring rolls were some of my favorites ever. I had the Pineapple Fried Rice, which I really liked. Izzy advised that standard spice was really authentic Thai- I went with "#2" and it was great, though more like "#4" back in Denver. It was served in a bowl made from half a pineapple, with most of the removed pineapple used i the rice or on the side as a festive garnish. Just enough vegetables. We eat dinner at dinner time - because of this, we went in with reservations we didn't need, and sat down at around 5:00 to the best interactions, customer service, and fooooood!!! Right from the ribbing we took at the door over being early for our reservation, we had a genuinely fun and relaxing dinner. We had the sampler appetizer, clay pot crab with glass noodles (spice level 1), and green curry w/beef (spice level 4). Beyond delicious! I'm pretty weak handling spice but I'm thinking I could have handled level 2-3. Level 1 was still nothing. My husband is a spice lover and added heat to his level 4. The flavors were rich, the food fresh and served well, with plenty of room between appetizer and entree. The desserts look incredible, but we were too full to try them. For food, I got the veggie spring rolls, which were delicious. Nice night and refreshing. My go to tequila blanco with pineapple juice shaken with a splash of lime perfectly made. The menu is expansive with beautiful pictures. Ordered the cockadoodle do and the taro rolls. Came out within minutes, hot and delicious. The cockadoodle do is worth the price of admission. A delicious bite of tom yum foam, shrimp and spices. Exquisite presentation and a palette delight. The taro rolls were tasty. Crispy, with soft taro accompanied with a savory sweet sauce. Within about 5 minutes our meal came out. Piping hot Bangkok curry and the crispy and garlicky chicken. One of the best curried I have had. Creamy with coconut milk, spicy and loaded with chicken. Served with peppers, bamboo shoots and fresh basil. The crispy garlic chicken was to die for. Extra crispy, sweet, savory, sticky and delicious. We didn't have dessert beacuse we were meeting with another couple for ice cream but the desserts looked amazing. Food was brought out checked on us 1x never again. While everyone was being served and given tabs he never once came to us. Not a place for locals. Over price and foods were meh..service was bad , server don't quite know what she was doing . Can't tell who is the manager, appetizers came out within 5 minutes and were room temp. Waited 1hour for the secret chef lobster and all was overcooked , cannot chew the meat and they just slab some kind of a sauce on it and it's not good at all. Also , the fried noodles on curry was very stale, and they only gave me $5 off lol. We spent more than $400 there. Restroom smells like public bathroom. A lot has changed since I went there a few years ago Worst of all, I gave them to validate 2 of my parking tickets, (which they did not )and cost me $20 each when exiting the parking lot. Dined here on a Monday night and chose this spot since part of our group follows a vegetarian diet. While the menu had a good variety of options, the overall food quality was just okay - we've definitely had better. We ordered a range of dishes including the pad Thai, drunken noodles, crab wontons, roasted duck, crispy chicken, green curry, yellow curry, and pineapple fried rice. Everything was decent, but nothing particularly stood out. Service, unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. When we arrived, we mentioned we had a reservation, one of them responded with "sure you do," which came off as dismissive. Our waitress was also a bit rude to my partner and seemed inattentive throughout the meal. She forgot to bring lemons we requested, and when we asked again, there was no apology. On a positive note, they did validate some of the parking, which was appreciated. Overall, between the average food and the poor service experience, we wouldn't return. read more

This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants in all of Waikiki. Their Thai food is incredibly authentic and full of flavor. We ordered the trio appetizer, which came with papaya salad, crying tiger, vegetables, chicken, and soup. Since I don't eat pork, I declined the soup, but everything else was delicious. We thought the portions would be small, but we were so wrong it was a generous amount, perfect for two people. I especially loved the papaya salad, and the crying tiger was melt-in-your-mouth good. The sauce was incredible. Everything was just divine. The Tom Kha soup with shrimp was to die for, and the garlic fried chicken was another standout one of our favorites. We also had the shrimp Pad Thai, and I ordered the spicy basil ground chicken, which was amazing. I love that they still bring out the pepper tray to the table something many Thai restaurants stopped doing after COVID so I really appreciated that they keep the tradition alive. The red wine was great, and the service was phenomenal. Our server was very attentive, and on our second visit, the server we had (I wish I remembered her name) was just as sweet and attentive. We truly enjoyed both visits. The restaurant itself is beautiful and upscale, with a wonderful atmosphere. Great food, great service, great vibes just perfect. The prices are very reasonable, and honestly, worth every single penny. I only wish I could take this restaurant home with me to San Francisco! Thank you all for making both evenings so special. The upscale ambiance of the restaurant was relaxing and peaceful as a solo diner. I was excited to be seated next to the water feature in the middle of the dining room. The gentle fog and slight bubbling sound was pleasant since I wouldn't be conversing over my meal. It was also entertaining during the lulls throughout my meal. It took awhile to get water and place my drink order, a Royal Hawaiian Sunset. I also ordered the Crispy Taro Rolls as an appetizer. The drink and appetizer arrived together. The Royal Hawaiian was a refreshing, light cocktail that was unlike anything I had ever tried with Thai tea and gin. The Crispy Taro Rolls came with a delicious dipping sauce and was perfect to hold me over as I had to wait quite awhile until I was able to place the rest of my order. I ordered 2 entrees--one for myself to eat in the restaurant and one for my husband to eat after his conference was over for the night. The Spicy Thai Basil Stir-Fry was delicious and the medium spiciness level was exactly what I had hoped for. I devoured about half of the meal, then asked for a box for the rest. A small box for my leftovers, a small and long box for the remaining Taro Rolls, and the to-go order of Pineapple Pork Fried Rice was delivered to my table with a sturdy paper bag. It took awhile to get the check and for the server to pick up my payment. The slow, inattentive service would typically really aggregate me, but the food and drinks were amazing and somehow made up for the mediocre service.
