two trays of food

Always come here for fresh roast/peking duck and pig. Come early in the day as they sell out fast and close once they're sold out. Typically the batch of duck and pig is really around noon, there are times, everything is sold out by 5pm. Prices are less compared to other Chinese restaurants in the area. The lady behind the counter is really nice. When I order a pound of roast pig, she sometimes add a few extra pieces. They also have other options too such as chicken, and a few Vietnamese deli item (buns, pork grinds, etc)

Inside fresh world el grande grocery, off to the left. Very friendly and clean. You can see them prepare your order! Duck, chicken and toast pork. Different kinds of bao/buns! And more! Enjoy! Near St. James on industrial drive.

Lured by the promise of hot tasty pork belly, I just couldn't resist. Was doing my weekly produce shopping in the Fresh World International Market and noticed a new business had opened over in the "food court" area. The lady working the counter chats away friendly with each customer that comes up to the counter. Not sure what language it was, but she switched over to English when it was my turn. She made sure to trim my pork belly so I wasn't paying for all fat and asked me if I wanted it chopped up. I just wanted a big chunk (would take care of slicing and chopping at home). So she weighed and priced my order, then she proceeded to shove even more of the tender juicy meat in the container. :-) I could barely make it through the rest of my shopping. I was dizzy from the aroma coming from the package in my cart. And you bet I popped open that puppy when I got in the car and drove down the highway happily chewing away on my yummy purchase.

The service was very friendly and fast. The work area was also very clean. When the man chopped the head off my duck I asked if I could have it. He then smiled a friendly smile and said of course. Also the prices are fair and the food is amazing. The only complaint I have is there are no menus available. Will def. Be going back. A true hidden gem.

A small deli type counter inside Fresh World supermarket carrying an assortment of bbq and roasted meats. They also carry a small assortment of baked goods, desserts, pickled veggies and cha lua ( Vietnamese ham). Unfornately they don't have a menu but I do know they have other dishes. My dad has ordered a fried tofu dish from here on many occasions. And we've also gotten a large tray of stir fry noodles catered for parties from here. They make a lemongrass chicken that is amazing!! The salt and pepper chicken comes with a ginger sauce that's ok. They also make soy sauce chicken which my brother really enjoys. For the most part prices are pretty reasonable.

Everything tasted great! I ordered extra lemon to squeeze into my soup. The restaurant was clean and looked simple with some nice Vietnamese decor. It was quiet when I went for lunch on a Tuesday. The food was average priced and the portions were huge. We really enjoyed everything we ate! Bathrooms were also clean. Easy parking in the springfield plaza. I suggest going here. I liked how at the get-go they gave me a full set of silverware and chopsticks swaddled in a napkin. The crispy 1. Chả Giò spring rolls with ground pork and crab were excellent. I especially liked that they provided two dipping sauce for the spring rolls. One sauce was sweet and the other was tart with fish sauce flavor. I liked both sauces equally. For my entrée, I ordered the 24. Cơm Sườn Chả pork chop. I was intrigued by the menu description which included egg custard and broken rice. Overall, the pork was very good and I liked that it was not over-marinated with lemongrass. The egg custard was a square of something gelatinous. It had a mild pleasant flavor. So the broken rice is interesting. It seems like a short-grain white rice, but has a very nice somewhat dense texture. Even though the menu advertised lettuce with tomato for my pork chop, the lettuce came with thinly sliced carrot and radish instead of tomato, which was fine. The only negative about my visit to Brothers Bistro was that the pork chop came out at the same time as the spring rolls appetizer.

It was such a cute little pho but the broth was aromatic, rich, and the brisket had the right about of fattiness. With the bahn mi, it was more than enough food. The service was also amazing. The person at the register was knowledgeable when I asked for recommendations, and he was very kind. This is definitely an unassuming place, but their food is packed with flavor. I'm definitely coming back here and would recommend others to try it out!

I love coming here for their banh mi and bakery items. I had a craving for the Bo Kho (beef stew), and the flavors were on point. The beef was tender. The broth was flavorful. The food portions are good. I always get little desserts to go. They also have some dishes ready-to-go. I was sad to see that they still do not offer Banh Cuon or Canh Khổ Qua since I used to get it there 10 years ago. Overall, it is still a great place for authentic Vietnamese food!

I hate to write a bad review of a pho place, but in my opinion, it wasn't great…read more We arrived around lunch time with no workers to be seen. After a few minutes of waiting at the door, we decided to sit ourselves down. Few minutes later we were handed menus, not by an employee but a customer..mind you, it wasn't busy at all (about 4 tables) We were greeted by our server shortly after and her energy and vibe was just not it. A bit of an attitude and felt extremely rushed. We ordered a large seafood pho and a small with egg noodles. The large seafood pho looked pretty delicious , but unfortunately looks can be deceiving. The broth wasn't flavorful at all. Just tasted like water with a hint of beef flavoring. The shrimp and fish cakes were rubbery, and the fishballs were still cold. Maybe I came on a bad day to get pho at this location, but I will not be coming back.

THE DEAL: Sit down service and you can basically pick your table. FOOD & DRINKS: We shared a nice piping hot pot of tea which is perfect for warming the winter soul and started off with some crispy eggrolls. They were hot, crispy, and delish served with lettuce, carrots, and daikon radish and of course, a sweet-and-sour dipping sauce. Hubs got the wonton soup, which was a full-size bowl like a pho, and it was incredibly delicious. The broth had so much depth and flavor and the pork was just tender as can be and the shrimp was perfectly cooked too and it was served with a side pho like accoutrements. I got the Buddha's Delight which is sautéed veggies and tofu and it was served with a side of white rice. The veggies were beautifully cooked al dente, the tofu was superb and the flavor of the sauce was delish! AMBIANCE: The restaurant decor is like going back in time with old laminate table tops and an almost cafeteria like feel but comfortable. We did have an annoying diner right behind us who was by himself and had his phone on speaker and was listening and watching videos as loud as could be and PSA people do that on your own time not on others lol!!! SERVICE: The service was superb and our server was zen the entire time. Thank you for your lovely demeanor! Excellent meal and excellent experience and we will be back

The atmosphere: The restaurant is spacious, and I like it when the outdoor area is open since it has a shaded setup and a fire pit. Otherwise, there's still plenty of indoor seating. The food: We started with the Korean Fried Chicken in the soy garlic flavor, which was probably my favorite part of the meal. It came out hot and crispy. We also ordered two rolls, the Double Toro Roll and the Double Salmon Roll. Both were drenched in a Japanese dressing or soy-based sauce, which caused them to fall apart almost immediately after picking them up. The flavor was overly sour and salty, making it hard to taste the freshness of the fish. Overall, the balance of flavors felt completely off. We also tried the Spicy Crunchy Tuna Bites, and to our surprise, the only crunchy element was a small part of the outer rice shell. Everything else was chewy and overloaded with mayo, so it wasn't a favorite for us. The service: The service was a bit touch-and-go throughout the meal.
