A few people told me that this place has the best BBH in the DMV area. My go to place for BBH has always been at Eden Center. So I decided to visit this place and see if that is true. I haven't been to this area for many years but I did remember there was a Hechinger store here when I was growing up. I came during lunch time on Sunday and the place is packed but didn't have to wait for a table. I ordered the Nem Roll and Bun Bo Hue Special. Both came out quickly. The sauce that came with the nem roll is different from what I used to. Not sure what's in it other than peanuts. It tasted bland and didn't enhance the flavor at all. It was decent roll. The Bun Bo Hue is not too spicy and flavorful. I do believe it is the best around DMV area for sure. I guess if I have the craving for BBH then this is a new place to go for me
Been here countless times at this point and I highly recommend if you eat in, you get the nem nướng cuon (2nd photo) bún thịt nướng chá giò /grilled pork vermicelli w/eggroll. I also like their phở and bún bò Huế. Overall, they have a lot on the menu if you and people you may be going there with want different things
A hidden gem for pho in Virginia! My friend and I were craving some delicious pho broth after a long day, and this place seemed to have great options, so we decided to give it a try. The space was clean, and the staff was so friendly. The portions were HUGE! We probably should've just ordered one pho, but it was so good that we both finished our bowls. The spring rolls were also delicious. Definitely check it out!
It's always a good sign to see a lot of Vietnamese patrons at a pho spot. The attention to detail here is impressive, with dishes served hot, from the grilled pork sausage rolls to the Combo Grilled Vermicelli. The pho broth is exceptional, and I love that you can customize your toppings in the Bun Bo Hue. The Vietnamese coffee is also a standout and service is great. This will definitely be added to our list of go-to places for pho!
While taking my mom grocery shopping , she suggested stopping by this restaurant for lunch. This is my first time eating here. There are a variety of options including traditional Vietnamese pho along with rice dishes and rice noodle options. We ordered the nem nuong cuon for appetizer. It is grilled Vietnamese pork sausage wrapped with salad in rice paper. While it's my mom's favorite, I prefer dipping it in the traditional peanut sauce over the "house" sauce that came with it. The crunchy pieces of fried egg roll wrapper inside the roll was interesting. I had the pho with eye of round steak and meatballs. The pho was good. Soup had good flavor. Plenty of meat. My wife had the bun bo hue without the pig knuckle. Unfortunately, that was not so good. She said the soup was bland and lacked flavor one would associate with bun bo hue. Pro - good beef pho, unique take on nuong nem cuon Con - avoid bun bo hue
DELIVERY - I ordered some Pho Ga and grilled pork sausage to be delivered for lunch. The items arrived well packed and generous portions. They really know how to do takeout orders, as it came with chopsticks and a plastic soup spoon. The sausage looked a little different, but paid off my daring with nice flavor and an unexpected crunch. The pho was exactly what I needed to clear out my sinuses and fill my belly. I put a little of the included packet of sriracha in and mixed it up, and I shredded the veg and dumped it in - delicious. Overall, it wasn't the best I have had, but I very much enjoyed it and would order again.
Their grilled sausage rolls are and I always go for the tendon bun bo hue the pork chop on rice is flavorful. Service is friendly. Plenty of seating to stop by for a quick bite anytime for large or small groups. Be sure to drink plenty of water eating the food definitely made me dehydrated.
I've been here a few times throughout the years (like 2 years) and I can't believe I never had a chance to review it. Their food, their staff, and atmosphere have been consistently good. So let's start with basics, love the parking because it's a lot and plenty of space. Parking is important to me because I'm just bad at any place that requires me to parallel or tight quarters where someone could scratch your car. I love the name as someone who's from Saigon and the endearment of the word oi. The menu has been updated since I've been there (or at least that's what someone told me). I can't tell if it's less options or more. The appetizers have a great range with different style of spring rolls (I got to try both). There's your pho options and bun Bo hue (personal favorite), and mi quang (something I've missed from my grandma's cooking). There's rice dishes and a few Vietnamese desserts like the che (which I barely see as a choice when going out) I recently got to try their mi quang and have to say it's pretty good. It's flavorful and looked similar to my grandmother's. The noodles were a little tough, but I think that was just more of a noodle specific situation not the broth. My family had the pho and found the broth to be comforting and didn't taste fake. They've been to places where the broth has a powdered fake taste to it. We all tried the grilled pork sausage spring rolls this but time around and it was a hit. My husband who is anti-veggies genuinely enjoyed it without pulling anything of the veggies out of the rolls. Now I know how to get him to have veggies. This past experience makes me want to make more of an effort to come here because I normally go through months of not going. But to not have an off day every time I went is awesome. Hope it stays this way.
I am so happy to have found this place! I had to take my cats to Banfield pet hospital in Annandale and while waiting on them I searched for best pho near me. I came here and got a to go order. The place was clean and the staff was all nice. I enjoy pho so much so I was excited to try! The white meat chicken was a plus. The broth was so flavorful even before adding sauces! And that is a top tier spot to accomplish the great broth! I also only ate half the first day so that I could see the next day how it did on reheat. Omg it was still good the next day! That is the secret to finding the best pho. I enjoyed so much I went back a few days later! Lol so now I know when I am in town I will be making an order everytime!
We came for late lunch on Saturday. Was not too busy. Tables and restaurant is clean and has basic pho restaurant decor except they had a fish tank and Taylor swift channel playing (perfectly fine with us). My pho was good and kids shared a kids size plain pho bowl. I wish there was slightly more protein. Smooth good broth. Hubby had bun bo hue and he said he would eat it again, he's pretty picky with BBH. Solid phone restaurant!
Wow, I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Not only are they so incredibly kind and attentive but the food is also so delicious! I love how you pay at the cash register, so there's no confusion if you're going there with a large party which is so refreshing because in the DC metropolitan area when the check comes, it's always a mess. I got the opportunity to enjoy be far for the first time because I always get chicken and I was so happy. I tried something new for once. The spring rolls are amazing and so was the fried chicken. I can't wait to come back.
Rating a 5 for the pho. My absolute favorite pho in NOVA. The broth is addictive and the veggies are always super fresh.

About a 2-2.5: Pho Saigon Oi is located in Backlick Plaza, and their menu offers various apps, vermicelli noodle bowls, pho (beef, seafood, and chicken), bon bo hue, fried rice and vegetarian dishes. We came to check this place out for pho and tried the following: +Pho - P6, with eye round and brisket; noodles were very minimal, and the broth itself was a little more sweeter than we were accustomed to; better adding both the chili oil and the sriracha +Bun Bo Hue - H6, that came with eye round and brisket; this had a subtle lemongrass flavor to it, but didn't have the deep flavor and spiciness that was expected Staff were friendly, and service was pretty efficient; note that you just go up and pay. Plenty of parking in the large plaza lot. +sweeter broths +bun bon hue isn't spicy +friendly service +located in Blacklick Plaza read more
Pretty good! I got pho p3. It has flank ,eye of round, and tendon. I was hungry so I ate it all but it was a typical pho bowl size Prices decent. The bowl cost $16 with tax Parking: free, lot Service: good. No issues Ambiance: nice, they have a beautiful fish tank If you are in the area, I would say try it! read more

I loved their appetizers (all kind of summer roll but the sauce wasnt that good). I am bun bao hue noodle lover and been tried around VA, their broth still not kick my taste bud. Be careful with the containers for your left over, they charged for 0.50c each. read more

Nem Nuong summer rolls! I fell in love with these in Orange County, California. Now Pho Saigon Oi doesn't make them quite as good as their West Coast counterparts, but it's better than the other places that try to imitate it around here. Always a go-to snack for my girlfriend and I. I also heard through the grapevine that the Nem Nuong at Nha Trang Eden Center is made by the same people. They get a 4 star due to the fact that I don't come here for the pho because I'd rather go somewhere else for pho, but they are still worth a visit for their Nem Nuong summer rolls. You guys should try it and dip in that addicting orange sauce. read more
3.5 stars. I got delivery here and the portion sizes are pretty good. The packaging was super convenient since you had a plastic bowl you could pour the noodle broths into. I enjoyed the seafood noodle. The pho was also very generous. It was a little strange that they used pork spare ribs instead of a pork chop. Not a complaint just an observation. Will hopefully fry them in person. read more

I visited 2 months ago. The food is good, but kind of expensive. $5.75 for the 2 pieces spring /summer roll is expensive! The price in menu is different from the final price. They put the notice at the cashier that due to food cost increased, all food has $1.5 increased, so I did not know they raised the price until I stood in front of cashier. Appetizers are $.75 increased and dishes are $1.5 increased if I remember correctly. They should have updated in the menu instead. read more

I came here on a late Saturday afternoon and when I walked in, I noticed how big the restaurant is, there is a lot of space and tables. The inside is very clean, bright and modern looking. This restaurant is located in the same shopping center as El Grande, across the street from the Backlick VRE. The service is good and our waitress was really nice. Someone in our group was running late, but we went ahead and ordered for her. The waitress waited until she came in to bring her food out. Looking at the menu, I really wanted to try the nem nuong summer rolls. You cannot find these around the DMV area, and this place actually serve it. Our group ordered a large order of the nem nuong rolls and I ordered a #1 combo pho. I really like how there are pictures for most of the items and descriptions of the meat for the pho. It was helpful to see these because there are so many different types of meat and sometimes I only want certain cuts. The nem nuong and the dipping sauce was so good! The pho was also good, but it seems like the broth did not develop long enough. The soup flavor was light. The meat slices were pretty big compared to other restaurants. I did like the different herbs on the plate, there was Thai basil and chicory leaves. They also have sate sauce on the table, it was spicy and had a nice garlic flavor. I will be back to try the bun bo hue. Definitely try this place if you're in the Springfield area. read more

This place has the best Nem Nuong Cuon (pork spring rolls) with amazing dipping sauce too! I think they are as good or better than Brodards in Garden Grove, CA. Their pho is really good especially the chicken broth. They are new owners since earlier this year, try them and enjoy! read more

Wow the food here is absolutely top notch and good/friendly service! By far, my favorite Vietnamese outside of Eden Center and much better than than Brother Bistro. The pho came out hot, meat fresh, vegetables and amazing broth! The nem nuong and bun Bo hue were so damn good, best I have had from the DMV area. If the owners are reading this, please add Bun Mam to your menu and I'll be there at least 2X a week! read more

The food was great. We came on Christmas Eve and had a wonderful time. We bump into a friend while here. It was a little bit not busy so after we ordered, it didn't took too long before the food arrived. The price was not too bad. If you come with 6 people or more, they will add gratuity on your bill automatically. It was great and highly recommended to all my friends. read more

My son is picky when it comes to Pho and he loved it here. Great flavor and filling according to him. I had the Bun Bo Hue special which hit the spot. The Matcha bubble tea was the bomb. It came with white pearls that had a nice fruity, slightly crunchy texture unlike the chewy black pearls. We will be back when we are in the area. read more
This past Sunday, to satiate my craving for pho, I traveled to Springfield VA. This place had a good rating on Yelp and I haven't been in this area in a while so it was nice to check it out. This place itself is well lit and spacious. Friendly masked and gloved staff greeted customers generously as they walked in. Very nice gesture and makes you feel very much welcome. My appetizer of choice was the grilled pork sausage rice paper wrap. Additional ingredients included mint leaves, lettuce, picked radish and carrots, and crunchy fried spring roll skin. The house special sauce gave off a tangy and slightly sweet taste. Couldn't pinpoint the exact flavors, but it was very light as to not overpower the roll's natural flavor. The pho broth had a strong beefy essence. The noodles are nice and chewy (heck yeah!). Meat was plentiful for those who never get enough! I ordered my usual extra onions and beef fat with scallions. Was good pho for the evening. This is a great place to eat. They have much more than just pho on the menu. Many unique Vietnamese dishes and soups are available for order and I'd like to try them next time I'm here again. Till next we eat, be safe and healthy fams! Nomz. read more

This place rocks and their grab and go food is hot and superb. How can it get any better, my normal go to for pho. We have expanded to other dishes and enjoyed everyone. The rice is so aromatic that it enhances the dishes that I can do duplicate at home. I will be back. Glad to see this place is going so well with their delivery business through the major services. read more
Heard about this place and wanted to check out a Vietnamese restaurant that had other goodies besides pho. We tried the combo special with grilled pork/egg quiche/shredded pork/broken rice, mi quang (pork and shrimp soup with egg noodles), Nem nuong (grilled pork sausage roll) and all of the dishes were fantastic! The serving sizes were really good for the prices and the flavors were all on point. I love how they balance the different flavors of savory, sweet, and spicy within the different dishes and it's somewhat adjustable to your liking. The mi quang (pork and shrimp noodle dish) comes with chilies on the side so you can add it to make it spicier and the pork sausage rolls comes with a side of Thai chilies if you want that extra kick. Otherwise you can leave it out. We absolutely loved the combo special and mi quang. I really loved all of the dishes but I think the pork sausage spring rolls really deserve a paragraph of their own. The balance of of the crunchy fried strip, freshness of the veggies, slightly chewy texture of the wrapper, grilled sausage that takes up half of the roll, and a savory sauce to dip it in completes it for me. You can order over the phone and it looks like they also have an online ordering option. Can't wait to try more dishes here soon. read more
