Food was absolutely delicious! Wasn't fond of the seating area but the service and food made up for it. Highly recommend the chicken bacon ranch sandwich and fries of course! read more

Great Sandwiches! Seriously fantastic clean fresh food. I WILL be back! No doubt about it and I live in a different state. Great food, super casual atmosphere, a definite "Must" 10 out of 10 on the food along with an ice cold beer, what else could you want?? Go, just go now! read more

I concur with the amazing reviews! I was with a group of six and everyone really liked their food. I had the chicken salad over greens and sweet potatoes. It was SO GOOD!! And a generous portion. I tried others- crispy chicken (yummy!), house made potato chips, and banana pudding. All fabulous! Great service and friendly people. We'll be back --- we had to sit outside and it's still too warm, especially when walking. read more

Worth Takeaway - Omg this chicken salad bowl is legit. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

Reality did not meet expectations. We were so looking forward to a great sandwich shop. To avoid the lunch crowd we went at 1:30. We walked in and were greeted immediately. Seeing we were struggling to read the menu which was high above the counter we were offered a printed menu on the table. My wife ordered the burger and I ordered the Rueben with a draft root beer, both came with a side, we chose Fries. There are not many tables inside the restaurant and a few on the outside patio. Since it was a cold day we stayed inside. The food came wrapped for takeaway (thus I guess the name "Worth Takeaway"). The burger came in a see through plastic container, which my wife struggled to open. The Ruben which was served on a ciabatta bun was wrapped in paper. Since our fries were going to take another 5 minutes we were offered a bag of homemade chips. My wife and I generally share when we get two different food items. The Ruben was underwhelming and the burger had to much sauce. Fries are meant to be nude: Crunchy outside and soft inside with a touch of salt. The fries texture wise were good. They did not need two tablespoons of salt and spices. A $40 lunch it was not. So far DeFalco's beats them all. read more

The best sandwiches around! Their new brunch and drink menu on the weekends are yummy too

Amazing sandwich shop! Everything is locally sourced and the food is so delicious. When we went, they had a Star Wars special that was only available for two days so we fled we had to try it. It's their famous crispy chicken sandwich with a fried egg on homemade biscuits. It was to die for. We also got a side of salad and fires. Both were very good. I also got a cold brew latte and was pleasantly surprised. It came with a hint to honey and subtle flavor of cinnamon. It really hit the spot. The only regret we have is that we all ordered the same sandwich. In retrospect we should have gotten different sandwiches to try since we are out of towners and we don't know when we will return. read more

Although the menu is somewhat small, everything on it is fresh, high quality and made with a lot of local ingredients and products. I wish they had more gluten free options, but I still give them a five star review because you can't expect a small place like this to be something that it's not. I believe you can order any of the sandwiches as a bowl if you want to. Really good food. read more

100% the best sandwich shop in the Valley. So glad to find this among the awesome shops in Mesa. Stopped in on a rainy afternoon and had the most wonderful reception by Colton. We got the Cuban and their weekly special, a porcetta sandwich from heaven with a side creamy tomato soup. The special with pork belly, chimmichurri aioli, greens and pickled onions should absolutely be on the regular menu. Try it if they have it! Tomato soup was excellent as well. We even got to try the berry cobbler dessert. Fantastic. Will definitely be recommending this place. read more

I love this place! It's a tiny little restaurant, but so good. Everything is fresh and locally sourced and delicious. My favorites are the crispy chicken salad, fries, and banana pudding! It's super cute and trendy and definitely worth stopping by! read more

The chicken tender bites are simple yet unique! Chicken bacon ranch and the French dips are also favorites. We try and stop by every time we are in Mesa! read more

Seemless delivery system! The Mac & cheese was amazing and so was the bacon chicken sandwhiches. A bit pricy when looking at the menu, but well worth it for the sandwich AND seasoned fries read more

Love this gem! Their new brunch special, a huge breakfast burrito with gravy and crispy chicken, is amaaaaazing. Tastes flavorful without being "too much." It's also two pounds! Definitely enough for at least two meals haha. I love the ambiance of this place and the fact that their menu rotates a little. I'll have to try out the Monday night supper! read more

I had read about this place because it was #14 on Yelp's Top 100 restaurants list and it's literally down the street from my house so I had to try it. I had the French dip while my boyfriend had the meatball sub (that day's special) and they were both great! The bread and the ingredients tasted fresh. We finished it off with a carrot cake which was amazing! The restaurant itself is really small with limited seating but there is a patio outside that you can sit at. The staff comes out periodically to see if you need anything. Staff is super friendly. read more

This place is money. Everytime I've been here, the daily special sandwich lures me away from trying the regular items for which I have been eyeballing in hunger lust. Last special was Little Miss BBQ fatty brisket on a potato bun with a fennel slaw and horseradish aioli... I love me some Little Miss, and Worth's interesting yet restrained rendition complimented the ingredient in a way that shows a culinary deftness and level of inspiration that is hard to be found in most other sandwich place in the valley. Every sandwich I've had here was beyond on point. There's a level of attention to detail that becomes evident regarding composition, quality, balance, and creativity in all their sandwiches regardless of how traditional or unconventional any one leans. Ingredients, ingredients, ingredients... Everything is local and fresh, and upon first bite this alone starts pimpslapping most other joints. Everything they produce in house is legit in it's own right. I swear I would buy a bucket of their crispy chicken if they sold it like that. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and their kitchen and expedition process are noticably well organized and smooth, making turn around time, even when the line is deep, surprisingly quick. Did I mention they have cold brew, regular and nitro? Well they do, and after the first time I went there, the sticker on my cold brew had their logo and bordering around it was the phrase "Did we just become best friends?", to which I answered to myself silently, "Yes we did". Bottom line: Go here as soon as you can. read more

Fantastic sandwiches! Just ate the buffalo chicken sandwich and it was to die for. Not to hot, just hot enough. The flavors were balanced and delicious. Decor is hip and music is cool. Peach ice tea was very refreshing! Can't wait to come back. read more

Seriously love this place. It's a super small sandwich shop located in downtown Mesa. The food is excellent, the staff is super helpful and friendly and the ambience is great. We've tried numerous items on their menu and have never been disappointed. The chicken tender bites on the kids menu were on point and our 3 year old loved them! Highly recommend ordering food and heading over to Oro Brewery or Cider Corp to enjoy a beer while having lunch. read more

Had the special this morning. The C2-B2 Crispy Chicken Breakfast Biscuit! It's a wonderful cheese biscuit with a large, crispy chicken breast. There's 3x Sriracha spreads: aioli, butter and honey in there. This is the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. In a past visit, the Buffalo Chicken sandwich was also excellent. Definitely an artisan approach where quality matters. read more

Tried WORTH on a whim after seeing other Yelp reviews. Had the Chicken Veggie Hash for lunch, which was *amazing*! It comes with "roasted seasonal vegetables" which happened to be sweet potatoes and asparagus. DELICIOUS! Another bonus is that they offer GLUTEN FREE options for the sandwiches. Any sandwich can be served without bread over a bed of greens and sweet potatoes (excluding grilled cheese). Give it a try, it's WORTH it! read more

Really tasty but a bit pricey for what it is. Had the Mac and cheese and it was definitely freshly made.

First of all, I will make note that I have been here multiple times to give it a chance Bc of how high this place is "valued" on yelp and I will say the employees are always so nice, I've never had any issues! However, the food has never wowed me, if anything half the time I'm left feeling just alright or mildly disappointed. I will say the chicken sandwich is good but not for the price of $12.50 along with another $2 upgrade for the fries (which the fries are plentiful though!) so practically $16 after taxes and that is still without a drink. As stated, I've been here other times for the specialty foods and was left underwhelmed. read more

Their burger is a simplistic masterpiece! Everything we had there was very quality tasting. Lovely service.

We decided to go all the way to Mesa to check out Worth Takeaway based on the great reviews. This is a cute little shop with some tables inside and out right in downtown Mesa. There is street parking out front and you order at the counter (all the workers are very nice). We ordered the grinder, grilled cheese, roast beef and chicken salad. We got homemade chips as our side with the sandwiches. The grilled cheese was by far the best sandwich. They were all good, but I probably wouldn't drive 30 mins again to have it. read more

Favorite lunch spot ever! I try a new sandwich every time and I'm never disappointed. I have mixed feelings about leaving this review because now everyone will find out about this place, and it's already crowded at lunch. My favorite is anything with their fries. read more

While it's a little more than I really want to pay for a sandwich (mine came out to $12 something), I really can't complain about anything else. The sandwich was big, super filling, and delicious. And free water bottles are awesome. Though seriously, if you give away free water bottles, GET A RECYCLING BIN. So besides that I guess, no complaints. read more

This place hit the spot. The staff was very helpful and nice. I ordered the Calabrian Turkey and everything was so fresh. The bread seemed to be baked in house and the sauce complements the sandwich very well. I topped off the sandwich with the root beer on tap. It was great! Definitely consider it when ordering. My wife ordered the crispy chicken which is their most popular dish. I can see why because that honey Sriracha was fire! We both had different sides. I had the home made chips and she had the hand cut fries. We split them to have the best of both worlds. All in all we loved this place! read more

I stumbled upon this place when I was out with my kids at the IDEA museum. I just wanted a good quality meal for us and a great coffee. I am so glad I stumbled on this. It's very tight and small inside but bright and open so it doesn't feel so small. You order at the counter and find a seat (it was good weather, so we sat outside, my kids and I). My almond milk sub iced latte was delicious. My kids sandwich, which was the fried chicken sando was AMAZING. So much crunch and contrasting flavors, they thought it was too spicy so I just ate the batter and they ate the chicken and bread :P. I went again last week and i guess I didn't realize their fried chicken sandwich is GARGANTUAN! It's flippin huge! I hadn't eaten a meal all day and I damn finished the whole thing. It was a tad too much blue cheese (?) but the rest was delicious. I will come back and maybe next time tell them easy on the blue cheese, but that is my FAVORITE sandwich ever. THeir staff is kind and offers complimentary bottled water. Decor is nice and calming and their food tastes fresh, well prepared and of high standards.... my kinda place! read more
