Delicious food every time, definitely worth a trip to downtown mesa. Unique sandwiches and delicious drinks

This place is amazing. I never thought I'd be so obsessed with a sandwich shop. I came here late on a weekend so I didn't have any issues finding a spot to park. Since it's downtown Mesa, I would imagine parking isn't the easiest during busy hours. I got the spicy pull pork sandwich and my friend got the crispy chicken sandwich. Both were flavorful and portion size was pretty big. The menu isn't all that diverse but they do have a special sandwich that varies week to week. Water comes in bottles and they are for free if you get a sandwich! Seating is limited. There are available areas to sit outside but this may not be a viable option during the hot Arizona summer. read more

Great little shop. Simple but strong menu. We had the French dip and Italian grinder. Solid sandwiches and everyone is super friendly. Lots of seating space and parking was just fine for us during this time of day(5:30pm). We'll be back to try something new. read more

We are visiting from Los Angeles and we wanted some good food from a small business. Yelp lead me here!! The 5 star rating is well deserved! The young lady that greeted us was so friendly and gave me some great recommendations and they did not disappoint. My Husband had the crispy chicken sandwich and he devoured it, without a doubt it was one of the best crispy chicken sandwiches( Popeyes who??? haha) I had the turkey BLT in a bowl with sweet potatoes a it was so fresh and delicious, so much food I couldn't finish it. I also had the cold brew and it was equally delicious. I definitely can say that this was the best food we had while visiting Mesa and will visit again if we are ever in Mesa again! Don't pass up this wonderful small business, support small business!!! read more

Great food, healthy, yummy, quick and convenient! The chicken veggie hash is tasty and I didn't feel gross, over-full or guilty eating it! Outdoor seating with shade and misters, friendly folks. Loved that the woman at the counter, when I was about to buy two pricey bottles of kombucha, warned me beforehand to be considerate. Thanks! read more

Worth Takeaway - This is my empty bowl! Was busy eating it or would have thought about the pic earlier :) - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I happen to be in the Mesa area and wanted me a good salad. So a course I turned towards my good friend Yelp to direct me. Found this place that I decided to try after I read the reviews. I can tell you the reviews did not disappoint me at all. I ordered their crispy chicken on greens which was amazing. The chicken was crispy bursting of flavor, like I was impressed. My salad and yams were good also. Then they gave me some honey sriracha dressing which set my salad really off. I had never had that dressing before but it was a good combination. I will say they are on the pricy side because for me I paid $20 dollars for this meal. But besides the price the food was delicious. When I do come back to Mesa I will be stopping here for lunch again. I proclaim to be a huge chicken eater so I know good chicken when I taste it. Check this place out you will not be disappointed. read more

It was my first time coming here,we ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich and a BLT sandwich and they were pretty good ! the staff was pretty friendly will come back again read more

This was a gem to find! It does have a very small front ordering space but a nice patio and spacious dinning area. We had the French dip, how could could a French dip be???? This has been by that the best tasting juicy, not soggy, even good to eat cold French dip sandwich. The fries were amazing, salad was European mix, and house made potato chips. The staff was extremely friendly, very patient with all the questions being asked. We will definitely visit again next time we are in Arizona. read more

Slow service 50 mins just for one appetizer, and food was too doughy. I don't think its worth another try, I don't have the time to waist.

Fantastic experience! Came with my family and each one of us were impressed by the flavors and quality of the food. I had the Worth Burger and it did not disappoint! Hubby had the Chicken Veggie Hash and it was loaded with flavor! They used sweet potato's as their base and it was fantastic! Would definitely come here again the next time we are in town! read more

Worth Takeaway - BLT with candied thick cut bacon!!! Superb!! - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I love LOVE love Worth. The menu, the Monday night suppers. I've ordered their special meals for Christmas Eve even....so good. Just genuinely good. Take my $42 I don't care(that's a reference to the nasty subway guy review earlier). I love you Worth. Best Paloma in town also. Love to sit at their patio during the day. Always friendly staff!! Thank you for the spicy BLT. read more

What are you waiting for! Go to Worth! Their sandwiches are delicious and they usually have specials going for those looking for something new. The space is a bit cramped inside, but there's plenty of seating outside when the weather is nice. Either way, I recommend taking everything to-go and eating at a local park or one of the breweries along Main Street. read more

Dude. Dude? Dude. That's how I felt after eating here for the 1st time. How, how in the hell did I not know that this shop of sinful sammie significance existed just down the road? This place is full throttle. Like skip shift from 1st to 5th. The chicken sandwich should have a freaking warning label, because I have had it 5 times in 10 days. I feel like a drug addict. The Italian is smooth and slick, shockingly delicious. Don't miss out. read more

I originally was looking forward to trying the breakfast but I got there too late so the 3 of us had to order lunch, which is no problem. I'd never been there before and from how busy the place was I was optimistic. I ordered the French Dip, it was OkAy but a bit bland. My boyfriend got a sandwich , I cant remember which one because I guess it wasn't memorable but the main reason I was disappointed was my daughters food. She ordered a simple peanut butter and jelly sandwich off the kids menu. Usually that means a whole sandwich, but it was a half of a sandwich on a plate with a handful of chips that she didn't care for. And the half sandwich was very small and the bread was dry. I really hate to complain but I think you guys should reconsider the kids portion. Kids can definitely eat a whole peanut butter and jelly. Besides all of that, everyone was friendly, people seemed to be enjoying themselves and we did enjoy the cookie we got for dessert. I might go back to try the breakfast. Maybe they have a better breakfast than lunch. read more

Worth is one of our favorite places to go because it always hits the spot. They have a huge menu of craft sandwiches and lots of other options too. I love the chicken bikes with fries and have to get the honey siracha sauce every time! The fries are seasoned and always hot and fresh. The decor at Worth is stylish and modern but still feels like a comforting home as it's nice and cozy with lots of natural light. We always bring our out of town friends and family to Worth when they visit! My only complaint is that I wish there were more fries in the order because wi can't get enough of them. read more

Super cute place! The cashier was super helpful and helped orient us to the menu. We decided on the breakfast burrito and the croquet madam. Very yummy and very filling. We sat outside on the patio and the food was wrapped up, ready to be taken wherever. They loaded up the burrito and I could only finish half. They had a side of green salsa that had a little kick to it. Great place for brunch and lunch! read more

Very awesome little place! Service is superb and setting is awesome! I had the roast beef and dip, with chips. I love how everything was fresh, I would of gave a 5, but the dip wasn't good. The sandwich was amazing, but for a French dip you need both to be complete. The chips are house made and was amazing. I would come back, just would try a different sandwich. Thanks to everyone today. Cheers read more

Food was really good especially the fries. I also liked how they brought the food wrapped up and in baskets it was cute. I gave 4 stars cause the turkey club wasn't very good but otherwise everything else was great! read more

Worth has amazing sandwiches. I personally love their crispy chicken sandwich with honey sriracha dressing and homemade pickles and their roast beef with homemade giardiniera. My daughter likes the Ruben. The only reason I can't 5 star this place is the cost and location. $20 for a sandwich is crazy and their shop is very tiny. Seating can be difficult to find. read more

I ate food from here twice To-Go before writing this review of Worth Takeaway to see if traffic played a role in the flavor of Buffalo Chicken sandwich. It did and just like In an out the quicker I was able to eat the sandwich the better it tasted. Buffalo chicken sandwich texture is excellent, Flavor is tasty but slightly salty on some bites and perfect on others when vegtables counter the bleu cheese and Buffalo sauce. Seasoned fries are delicious and perfect in texture and flavor . Banana pudding with butterfinger is my favorite thing so far and tastes delicious with a creamy yet caramel flavor and great texture. Staff is friendly and professional getting the order down perfectly. The restaurant is clean and neat with some unique art and decor. Service:5/5 Fries: 5/5 Buffalo Chicken: 4/5 Banana pudding: 5/5 and my favorite thing here! I will return and try more sandwiches which I see others enjoy! I recommend Worth Takeaway if you are in the area, and if you get to go get home and eat it quickly! read more

Holy WOW! This place is undeniably delicious. First time here and 5 stars! The crispy chicken sandwich was amazing. The side salad that goes with it had the tastiest dressing. The only downside is the price. About $15.50 per sandwich on avarage. Add a drink and it's about $20 including tip. Not a lot of seating so I did take out. Would definitely go again!! read more

Love this place! I wish I lived closer & could get it more often honestly! The rotating weekly meals always make me want to go, but sadly I never have gotten in on one. Great versatility with the style options - highly recommend the "on greens" it has sweet potatoes ! read more

I love everything about Worth Takeaway. Their food has never once been subpar - either through UberEATS delivery or the many many times we've been there in person. The staff is always friendly and attentive and their support of the local Mesa community is impressive. All the food here is great, but their ability to pump out creative specials each week keeps them fresh while they keep pumping out the hits like thee fried chicken sandwich with housemade pickles or the Croque Madame that never disappoints. They deserve all 5 stars read more

Best chicken sandwich in town. Small dining area, so we don't recommend eating on site, but the food is great!

Wow! Loved the sandwiches. My mom got a French dip and it was delicious! I had the crispy chicken and it was excellent! Great customer service! Cute, small place, but there are tables outside (bummer for summer). I highly recommend! I live in Gilbert, and it was worth the drive! read more

This is our new go-to sandwich shop. They have a great assortment of sandwiches, as well as a special of the day. The second time we stopped in, I got a swordfish sandwich that was absolutely to die for! I love that they offer bottled water for free with your sandwich. The house made chips are crisp with just the right amount of salt. If you come during the lunch rush, it might be hard to find a table. Never fear. Head a few doors down to Oro Brewing and grab a beer and eat your sandwich on their patio. read more

Cookies were fantastic- would definitely come back for them. Sandwiches were just okay. I ordered the roast beef which said it had an aioli on it and either they forgot it or put very little on. It was a super dry sandwich that I would not order again. read more

My friend and I decided to see what all the hype was about this place. We walked in and it was very small inside, not a seat to be had. Since it was over 100 degrees out, we weren't going to sit outside (no one was out there). Just a menu with sandwiches. I asked what's the most popular one, and she said people liked the fried chicken breast sandwich. I like fried chicken, but not on a bun. Double carbs is a no-no for me. I like a good Rueben, but didn't want to gamble $17.50 on a reuben sandwich when I know the Reuben's at Chompies are soooo good, so we left and went over to Gus's. read more

Yummy little to to lunch spot for us! I got the Cuban sandwich and my fiancé got the burger. The fries were good portion size and had good seasoning. Was bummed the banana bread pudding sold out by dinner time though!! We will be back again to try other sammys for sure. read more

I needed a place to sit down to grab a quick bite and this place was perfect! My sandwich was great and the fries were too. I definitely will be back! What I loved most though was the atmosphere, very home-y. I saw several interactions of friends bumping into each other unexpectedly and lighting up with excitement, that's when I knew how great this place is. Seeing community being created around good food is the best. Can't wait to go back:) read more

***UPDATE: we found out they would be serving Katsu Ramen to celebrate. So we made the trip from where we live in Tolleson to Mesa. Worth it (see what I did there). It was better than ramen restaurants I've been to here in phx. Not only is the food outstanding, the customer service is top notch. We were probably only there for 45 minutes and we were asked multiple times how everything was tasting and if we needed anything. The employees are super nice and make you feel so welcome. This is one of my top 5 fav restaurants of all time. LOVE IT! Thanks worth! We just went here this morning for the first time. I didn't really know what to expect as far as breakfast goes. We were greeted by two employees immediately who were so friendly and helpful. They were running a special for biscuits and gravy. BEST BISCUITS AND GRAVY I'VE EVER HAD (don't tell my gramma). Good grief, I am currently barely surviving a food coma. We will definitely be back, maybe every weekend :) read more
