Great little bar. The drinks were excellent and the food was good. I love bars that serve great food to keep you there. There were a lot of vegetarian dishes but also some great proteins. Octopus was delicious and tender. The quail was well executed and balanced. Focaccia was fresh, crispy and nicely paired. Great spot for friends, date night or a solo drink. read more

Beautifully crafted and delicious meals. I suggest just appetizers. They also have multiple course options. Pricey.

Damn y'all. Wildflower might be my new fav restaurant in denver. We got reservations a month in advance. There's a 2 hour limit on the table which they stand by to ensure people aren't waiting as they come in for reservations. The vibe is on point - super moody, loungey vibes with cool wall paper, good music, the booth was cozy, watching the bartenders was fun and even their bathrooms were nice. Just so much swag here! The food was insane. I mean so thoughtfully curated, so many unique flavors that come together in the most beautiful way. We got the Carmelo picante and the marigold de la Rosa. Both were delicious. I don't like grapefruit and they substituted it for orange and lemon juice and it was refreshing and tasty. The lamb tart was DIVINE. Well seasoned raw cubes of lamb add the perfect bite to a smoky chili crust and then the meringue on top adds a lightness and sweetness to the whole bite. It was SO. GOOD. The ricotta cavatelli was so tasty. The ricotta doesn't show up as curds - it's a creamy medley with some greens, nice texture punch with the breadcrumbs and crispy sausage. I wish there was more sausage! The creaminess of the sauce and the chewy pasta was on point. And don't forget about the frozen shaved burrata that is smoked - when mixed in it adds to the creaminess. It's soooo good. And then there's the NY strip steak. We asked for it to be cooked medium rare - perfectly done. The green mole is out of this freaking world - made with 27 spices. It just has all the flavors in all the best way. Dipping the perfectly seasoned steak in the mole and getting a bite of the crispy shell that has a bean purée inside (similar to a liquidey hummus) makes for the perfect bite. It is out of this world. All the textures and flavors. I want more!! We got the orange blossom mousse for dessert and it was good. We were about to get the semifreddo but I wanted something that wasn't cold! The chocolate sponge cakes with the white chocolate mousse and the little cubes of butternut squash were all the right things together. I can't wait to come back - gotta plan in advance to get a reservation but I can't wait!! Oh yeah and Street parking is free and generally easy to find. read more

This place is great. The ambiance is romantic and the service was attentive. I really enjoyed the croquettes and drinks we had too. (Here's the weird part.) Despite everything else being great, the thing that stood out most about this place to me is... the men's room. It smells amazing and is immaculate. Don't judge me until you've been there. read more

A special treat! Brought some out of town guests here, and were not disappointed. This is a great place to go for a special occasion. We ordered the large bouquet of tasting plates, and one amazingly delicious, unique thing after another, kept coming out of the kitchen! The service was tiptop, the wine is all organic, and the overall vibe is relaxing and comfortable. We will definitely be back. read more

Overall, great experience. The ambience is fantastic and the service was amazing. It's the perfect place date night spot. The bar seating is first come first serve. We arrived on a Saturday around 7:30p and we had no issues scoring seats at the bar. The meal was good. I'd definitely be back. I knocked off a star because I'd say overall, every dish but the steak was just missing a little salt. I love the creativity of every dish. We started off with a grilled artichoke salad, then moved on to the mushroom medley, followed by sausage cavatelli, then NY steak in a mole sauces, and ended the night with a semifreddo dessert. I would say the highlight of the night was the mushroom medley with the black sesame scotch egg. It's apparently new to the menu and I'd highly recommend. read more

Wildflower gets a 5/5 for ambiance, service and food! Probably one of the "hidden gems" and top restaurants in Denver. Love the modern and upscale decor and style. Food was incredible - portion sizes are a little smaller so we tried a variety, including the focaccia; artichoke salad; sweet potato croquettes; steak; cavatelli; and quail. The smoked cocktails are also very unique. This place is a great choice for date night or special occasion. We did find street parking pretty easily as well read more

It's so good, I almost don't want to share this place with others... We came to Wildflower with our friends, who told us that they tried it the week before and it was so good, they had to bring us. Yes, it was that good. The menu is pretty limited, but don't let that discourage you. You won't find the standard "new American " fare here. Every dish is innovative and unique. The chef does an amazing job at pairing together unlikely flavors in truly harmonies ways. I don't think you'll find anything else like it in Denver. For appetizers, we shared the cheese plate and the olives. I wish we tried other more unique items, because both were pretty standard. Not bad, just boring in comparison. The most exciting thing on the cheese board was the pear mostarda. They need to bottle and have it for sale. Our friends had the butternut soup and focaccia. They ordered the soup the week before and ordered it again that night, so I'd prob get that next time. The entrees were the star of the night. We had the pork shoulder and the culotte steak dishes. Both were amazing, but the steak is a must have. It's not just steak, it's steak with a 27-ingredient mole...an umami bomb. Wildflower truly is a gem, perfect in every aspect. Cocktails here were good too and the setting was super intimate, yet refined. Service was impeccable. I have zero complaints except for the fact that I was too full for dessert. read more

The ambiance is excellent: - Great lighting, nice background music, not too loud, and the space was cozy. The service was phenomenal: - The host took my wife's coat and was very polite in sitting us ahead of our reservation. - Our waiter (Jackie) did an excellent job of being personable but not interrupting once we began eating. She also was excellent at listening to our preferences and then explaining the food and drinks in an easy-to-understand way. She was also able to quickly tell us all of the ingredients if we wanted that information as well! - At the end of the night, to our surprise, they comped one of the plates that was brought to us because we didn't enjoy it. I was surprised because we didn't hate it and we weren't complaining or hoping to get it comped. We just shared that it was a little weird for us and not our favorite. The food was great: - I highly recommend doing the boquet of flowers! Of the 8 plates we tried, only one of them was not a 10/10 for us. Highly recommend this place and will be back. It is a bit pricey but it truly is a one-of-a-kind experience! read more

I LOVE this place!! The food was delicious. The vibe is amazing. The decoration is so cool (they have their own dyptique scent!!). And the service was top notch! I'm ready to go back! Drinks: -Frontier fog is super unique and weird but really good. It's basically a tea with alcohol. It wins for its uniqueness. -Wildflower was a good cocktail -Gimme Thyme was really good as well Food: -Grilled artichokes were really good -Not a fan of Endives but the Hickory Smoked Endive salad was pretty good, but I wouldn't get it again -Pear & Celeriac Agnolotti was a 10/10 -Risotto di Puglia was another 10/10 -Wildflower honey Semifreddo was delicious! Such an amazing meal. Everything was perfect! read more

I had two amazing dinners at Wildflower. I left reviews to that effect for the restaurant in OpenTable describing how amazing the food is and how they deserve a Michelin star. However, I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 both times, stating that the maximum time allowed for dining for 2 people is stressful, because given the caliber of food, you want to take your time and not be rushed out the door in the end. I dined there twice, left great reviews, but both times noted timelines issues politely. Their GM called me today, was aggressive, berating and trying to lecture me on the phone. I was horrified, ended the call and hung up. I couldn't believe he called to bully me for having left a 4 instead of 5 star review though it was positive, polite and genuine on my end. What's worse is he then sent me a followup text still trying to further lecture me. And I'm a little scared for my safety, as a single woman, that he may be able to find where I live. I never gave them my number or permission to use it, so he must've pulled it from OpenTable which is abuse of their terms of use, because restaurants are only supposed to use the phone numbers shared in the app for reservation management. I'm not sure what possessed him to think it's OK to use my phone number to contact me for matters unrelated to my reservation. I am sad for the staff and chef of this restaurant. They are amazing as is the food. But now I understand why both times I've been there, they've seemed stressed and the energy in the air frantic and nervous. Based on his aggressive phone call to me, a customer, I hate to imagine how he is treating his staff. I am sad to leave this 1 star review because they have an amazing young chef and his menu is WOW. This review and low rating is due to their GM's shockingly unprofessional behavior, not the food. Bullying customers over reviews is not ok, ever. I'm still in shock as I type this. I've uploaded copies of both my OpenTable reviews for reference. read more

A high-end experience! Wildflower is one of those restaurants that hide in plain sight and is so good that they don't even need signage to be found it's on the main floor of a small hotel, and oh damn, it's good!! The service is impeccable, and every dish is a culinary experience! Everything was meant to be shared, so we ordered many things to the center and enjoyed it while talking. They timed everything perfectly, so we always had food but never had a crowded table. Their drinks selection is impressive, and their mocktails are to die for! As for food, we had the scallops, artichoke, and focaccia breath to start; everything was super good and fresh! If you have some extra juices from the scallops, keep it and use it as a dip with the focaccia Then we had their Raviolo al' Uovo, which is one big ravioli so you can either order one per person or couple! We finished with the Spanish octopus and Coquetas de Patata; it was the best octopus I've eaten in months! SO GOOD. We were celebrating a birthday, so they brought a little cupcake with a candle, an excellent detail! They also gifted us two desserts, totally unexpected but lovely! We had the carrot cake and honey semifredo, both the cherry of the cake it was a fantastic experience overall, and I would highly recommend it if you want a higher-end dinner. One more thing: they have Lelabo hand wash in the bathroom; OMG, can you believe it? Just go and wash your hands you won't regret it! read more

The food here is absolutely delightful. We went this week for our anniversary and got the larger bouquet. The way it was explained is that it's the same number of courses but with higher end ingredients. We were absolutely stuffed. Our favorite was the tart, as it was something we've never had before or even thought of. The service wasn't horrible but wasn't great either. We did receive a complimentary mocktail and starter for our anniversary, which is really nice. There just wasn't enough explanation about the dishes. Each one was so unique, adventurous, and exciting, but we often were left hearing only a couple of the words of the description. It was like they were racing through service. Overall ambience was great - seemed like a great date or special occasion spot. read more

We had a wonderful dinner at Wildflower celebrating our 4 year anniversary! The food is incredible & drinks are so yummy. We love Wildflower's atmosphere and vibe. Our waiter (Shaun) was so fantastic and we could not have enjoyed our evening more. We'll be back soon! read more

I booked a dinner reservation at Wildflower for my birthday and it was such a treat - the ambiance is romantic but not so dimly lit that you can't see your food, and as someone who works from home it's nice to dress up once in a while to go out for dinner now that it's so rare I'm in anything but athleisure. The restaurant was a lot busier than I imagined for a Thursday evening, but it seems a lot of people come enjoy a couple drinks and small bites after work here. It was never too loud but the service was definitely slow and we didn't get a server until about 15 minutes into sitting down. Once our service started though food came out quick. I highly recommend going with the "bouquet of wildflowers" which is what they call their tasting menu. We went with the medium option for the 2 of us and were absolutely stuffed before the meal was even over. I requested the NY strip and lamb tart to be included in the menu but otherwise was open to whatever they served. 1. Grilled artichokes - I honestly would have never ordered this if I had gone a la carte, but shockingly this was my favorite dish of the night. Such a summery and fresh dish! There is a perfect balance of richness and brightness in this dish, highly recommend 2. Wildflower focaccia - as someone who bakes my own bread, I'm not impressed with the focaccia. The whipped garlic was good though 3. Spanish octopus - ok but not great. Octopus was a bit too chewy for me, and presentation was questionable - is it just me or does the arancini with Fresno chili on top look like boobs? 4. Colorado lamb tart - I think this is my first time eating raw lamb, it's definitely not as gamey as I had imagined it would be. It's very similar to beef tartare in texture, so I think it's very approachable. Tart is honestly massive, lots of value here. Loved the mushrooms in it! 5. Croquetas de la Patata - these would have been good when we were a bit hungrier, at this point we were so full it was hard to eat a dish that was pure carbs. If you like mashed potatoes, you'd love these. The pea shoots felt a bit redundant though at this point 6. NY strip - I thought I'd like this more, but it was ok at best. Steak was perfectly cooked to medium rare but had a weird mushy texture as if it's been sous videing forever before getting seared for service. The gigante beans and chicharron inside the masa crisp along with the mole were great though, extremely savory and a different pairing than what I've ever had with steak before! 7. Wildflower honey semifreddo - 4 different incorporations of honey, truly a honey lover's dream! The little puffs of verjus tasted so boozy though, we just ended up eating around those Overall a great meal, I would definitely want to come back and try more of the veggie centric dishes considering how much I loved the artichokes. read more

Dinner - 5 stars Brunch - 3 stars Overall 4 stars I had dinner at Wildflower for a birthday and was so impressed with everything! We had a server who made great recommendations for shared plates for our party of 5. Their dinner menu is split up into small and large plates with the idea that you'll share all dishes. Our server made sure that we ordered the correct amount of food to fill us up and recommended double portions when it made sense. We had wonderful cocktails as well and the ambience was so beautiful! I loved dinner so much that I decided to come back a few days later for brunch with friends from out of town. I booked a table of 5 at 1:00 PM on Sunday through OpenTable. I didn't realize that they stop brunch at 2:00 PM. The kitchen was out of many food and cocktail choices. The brunch menu serves large plates but the brunch large plate was similar to the dinner menu's small plate. Our server didn't do a great job of explaining portion sizes to feed our group or helping us choose different selections when the kitchen was out of our preferred dish or cocktail. Soon after we sat down and ordered, it seemed like it was last call for food and beverages. We were the last table and the experience felt rushed. I wish the restaurant had let me know that they close at 2:00 PM and it was probably not a good idea to seat a table of 5 at 1:00 due to time constraints. Due to how wonderful the dinner service was, I expected similar service for brunch. My recommendation is to secure a table early for brunch because they do run out of food and cocktails. read more

Definitely would not recommend going here. It's cute and the food is fine, but it's extraordinarily overpriced for what you're getting. $35 for a very mid tart appetizer is bonkers. We were able to make reservations online very easily for a Friday night and we were seated right away when we got there. The restaurant was a little hard to find since there's no sign out front and the only sign was on the door. The ambiance is very cozy and there was a good vibe. Our waiter Oren was awesome. He really knows the menu and gave some very good suggestions. The oyster crudo was flavorful but watch out it is spicy! The murel was sooo tasty but filling. The peas were fresh and crisp with a very good distinct flavor. Actually let me just say all their dishes had a unique flavor that was very pleasing to the tongue :). For our entrees we shared the quail that had a filling inside and the catavelli pasta. Both were again super delicious. Their menu isn't that big so you had only 6 entrees to choose from but I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of the choices. We also had their honey variations dessert and some very unique mixed tea. Prices weren't bad for the experience. I would definitely return! read more

One of my favorite date night spots, or drinks/apps with a smaller group of friends. All the food we tried was great (the best focaccia with whipped garlic, scotch egg, ube croquettes, lamb tartare tart, watermelon salad), but their drinks are also delicious. The earl grey one served in a teacup is refreshing and boozy at the same time. They have several whiskey ones that come out of a smoker, and a great martini. Cute ambiance as well. read more

Hello fancy pants! For me, the best part of this joint is the service and the vibes. Visited last week with a friend and felt that the three sharable plates we got were not as expected and the Wildflower's attempt to put a twist on classics wasn't well received (at our table). Ordered the focaccia, grilled artichoke and croquettes and found that the focaccia was very very sweet and very thick, the artichokes were more of a salad than anything else and the croquettes were not very flavorful. I DID get to try a new liquor, though in the Colorado Sky (sotol) and much appreciated the inventiveness and flavor of that bevvy. So, long story short, it may be better for brunch and/or just do drinks. read more

The drinks and food were great, but our experience was entirely ruined by I assume the host or GM (tall bald guy). I loved the romantic lighting and the way the restaurant was decorated. Very intimate. Service was amazing and the bartenders were very friendly. The presentation of the drinks was probably my favorite thing. They brought out one of the drinks in a glass covering that had smoke in it. Soooooo cool. This place is incredible! The vibe as soon as you walk in is welcoming, subtly aromatic, and warm yet energetic. I recommend making a reservation for sunset - the front windows bring in a ton of natural sunlight which complements all of the dark velvet, fabric, and wood and creates a deep and sultry mood. Every staff member we encountered was professional and so friendly. It seemed like they genuinely cared about our experience and ensured we were comfortable. Our servers Izzie and Tanner were super accommodating and very attentive even as it got busier. The drinks were spectacular!! I had a spicy tequila cocktail with habanero bitters to make it extra spicy and it was delicious and perfectly chilled The food was to die for as well!! The chef was kind enough to come up with a vegetarian entree which was roasted sweet potatoes, dehydrated goat butter, mushrooms, and a hazelnut cocoa powder. The combination of these flavors was amazing! The rice chicharrón with pecorino cheese and the grilled artichokes & olives are excellent appetizers or bites to share as well. I'll definitely be back and recommend you check it out! read more

Swanky cocktail space close to home in Lohi! We went here for a late-night after work drink, and I didn't realize it was a full restaurant! I'd love to go back for a full meal. Regardless, we had a great experience. The vibe: lights low, date-night vibe for sure. Velvet chairs, flowers & candles on the table; definitely a romantic lounge-y atmosphere. The drinks: The servers are all super knowledgable... we had lots of questions & they could recommend something whatever the taste! The menu is super creative. I started with a Frontier Fog, which was super fun, because it was served with ice shavings and in a porcelain teacup! And those earl grey notes really came through! My husband started with an in full bloom, which had a candied flower at the bottom! So fun! We shared a Nopal margarita as a second drink. It was pretty bitter and not my usual cup of tea, but it was fun to try! The food: All the food around us looked so good, but we weren't super hungry. As a compromise for our stomachs, we ordered some of the focaccia - that whipped garlic is SO good. If I were to go back for food, looks like there are lots of creative shareable plates! Everything looked and smelled delicious! Go go go! Great date-night spot for sure. read more

Alrighty my goody friends, tonight was knocked out the *+~^,£{! Park. Decided to come here for dinner with my girlfriend and we were not disappointed in the slightest. So, yeah, it's like you walked into an incense burner when you come Into this restaurant. You get used to it, but that's the only thing I'd Change about the experience. Our server was very prompt and helpful. We didn't remember her name, but we wish we did. We each had the margarita, and my friend also had another cocktail with a flower incorporated that she said was very "smooth" and the flower inside was a nice touch. We also ordered the mushroom appetizer as well as the focaccia bread. If there is one thing you must get from here, it's the focaccia bread. Life changing. Amazing. We ordered another round before we left. It's to die for. Seriously if the only thing you ever get from this restaurant is the focaccia bread, it's worth it.
