It's been a bit so this is an update. Came here for dinner about a week ago. I love this place,…read moreit's cozy and like a little hidden gem. Food is always great, as is the service. There were 5 of us, we had the cheese curds (always delicious), tried the crab nachos (surprisingly good) as apps. Ordered the crab soup. I was expecting more of a cream crab soup but that was my fault as it wasn't listed as such and it's a reddish sauce kind of a minestrone with the veggies in it. We ordered shrimp and grits, I was told it was good with a little spice. Two of us ordered the salmon with crab/corn risotto (delicious). Mac and cheese ordered from apps menu, but as meal and the last meal was a pasta chicken dish. Great experience again!

This was a beautiful restaurant and bar with a great open-kitchen concept! We started by splitting…read morean order of deviled eggs and honey habanero wings, and both were delicious. The deviled eggs were deep-fried with a little jalapeño on top--absolutely excellent! The wings were crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and had a fantastic flavor with just the right amount of heat. We then split a burger and fries. The burger was a little overdone for my liking, but it still had an amazing flavor. The fries were decent and paired well with the burger. We also each had a cocktail--the Peach Mule and the Key Lime Pie cocktail. Both were refreshing, well-balanced, and a great addition to the meal. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience and would definitely come back!

My friends and I wanted some seafood and found this place between us. Our server was super friendly…read moreand personable. We ordered several items to share amongst us all - Fried Shrimp with Hush Puppies, Oysters on the Half Shell, Snow Crabs, and plenty of blue crabs to dig into. I got a white sangria that was quite good too. A casual restaurant with some delicious seafood and great service!

Not great, not terrible -- average. For me, sitting at the bar is better than at a table: better service and conversation with others. Same food, average seafood with typical sides. If the food was a notch better: I'd come more than once a year. I find Mays, Liberty Seafood and Avery's roughly the same, with Mays having the edge over the others (quieter too). For just crabs: order takeaway from Westpointe. For bulking up on food: Avery's. I actually enjoy eating at Avery's -- but it could be so much better if they improved the sides and service. Still, I do come once a year -- contrasted to: I visit several other restaurants at least twice a month ...and get better quality seafood dishes (at a marginally higher price). Just saying...

This relaxed, open brewery has a great outdoor…read morearea and picnic-style tables in the main stage room and other tables liberally scattered near the bar and outside. There are also a few annexes, including a cozy upstairs space. The staff is professional and welcoming. Everyone I know loves the beers here, but if you're not a beer fan (like me), no worries. They have wine, canned sodas, and water in a fridge, plus those fun machines with a variety of fruit crushes and even basic full-bar cocktail offerings. To get a drink, you simply order at the long bar or the side window. For those who don't drink alcohol, they also have a fun dirty soda bar to the right of the brewery inside the attached shop, Lucy's Little Red Wagon, where you place separate drink orders. Lucy's is an attraction in and of itself! You can bring your drink inside and browse the cute clothes, stylish jewelry, local snacks, and unique gifts. They have a packed event schedule with live bands, line dancing, trivia nights, cornhole, and all sorts of fun activities. We've met friends here, brought our teenage kids, hosted out-of-town guests, met coworkers after work, and always see plenty of young children running around. They're dog-friendly too! When you're ready to eat, just walk over to The Food Spot through the entrance to Lucy's. You can order at the counter or through the app using the QR codes scattered throughout the brewery. The food is remarkably good and has exceeded our expectations every time. They rotate weekly specials, and have a standing menu. Our favorites have been the huge salads, delicious pizzas, and flavorful flatbreads. Whether you're stopping in for a drink, a meal, live music, or just a relaxing evening with family and friends, Flood Zone has become one of our favorite local spots!

We didn't eat but it looked like food was ordered at the counter or by QR code. I tried a pilsner and festbier and both were good. My wife had the Fall Sangria special which she enjoyed. Not much going on in this part of the county. This place was very active. We'll try food next visit and add a review
