Awesome brewery in Frederick! Friendly service, great flight options, and solid to-go deals. There was a food truck on site during our visit, and the patio is dog-friendly, with lots of seating options. Attaboy is our number one brewery to hit in DTF, not just bc our first date was here. The rotation/changing of beers is probably the biggest highlight if you're craving new each time you visit a brewery. I'm an IPA girl and there's always something new, or an old favorite, to try. This space is one of the bigger ones to include the immediate bar/tasting room area, an additional room, and the outdoor space. Nice local place with food trucks everyday. I was just glad they have some sort of food option. The pizza food truck was good and it paired well with the beer. The inside is smaller and on the industrial side. It's a good size for a group of 4. Any larger and it proves to be a bit challenging to maneuver if it's busy. I think there was a larger table at a corner so perhaps a group of 6 is possible. I can't recall. I was in the counter type tables and the table is narrow so you can hear the other person talking across from you if the music is loud. I thought this was a nice choice because it was a bit loud but I could hear the conversation. The beer was okay. I did like the one that I chose that much. But I remain open minded that they have other selections that were better. They have a good sized parking lot. Friday night was busy and I luckily got the last spot. read more

Attaboy Beer is a DOG FRIENDLY microbrewery that is made up of a garage and beer garden. I recommend coming here if you are into experimentation styles--they enjoy playing around with mixed fermentation and barrel aging. They sell beer and chips. Very solid selection of beers, but the outdoor seating is what really makes this place so fabulous. I came here after a kayaking trip and while there were certainly some folks in their Sunday brunching best, I didn't feel overly weird about being in workout clothes. Lots of gorgeous dogs and respectful owners, and just a really cool and relaxed vibe! There are food trucks that rotate on-site, but they seem to be really hit or miss. When I was there, there was one truck that was so backed up that they wouldn't even take new orders and a second truck with a really odd hodgepodge of items that no one seemed to be visiting. read more

I LOVED the looks of Attaboy, inside and out. It's super cool and has a very modern aesthetic. Plus all other patrons had their dogs, mostly puppies. I was in heaven. Unfortunately, like most breweries I visited this weekend, they were out of a lot of the beers I wanted to try. I guess it being between seasons, it makes sense, but it was still annoying! That said, I got a small flight of 3. I quite enjoyed the Basic Boy. Mermaid Blood was interesting. The Creek Life Citra was ok. I'd like to visit again, during non-Covid times and when it's not between seasons. I would like to enjoy a bigger variety of beer and bask in the environment longer. read more

Attaboy Beer is one of several local breweries in downtown Frederick. This one is right next door to another brewery making for a fun beer tour of the town. Attaboy is in one large room with a large bar and plenty of seats. Bathrooms are in the back (and when it gets crowded, expect a line). The beer menu is great and they describe each beer, which is helpful. They also let you sample as many as you want. They don't have any sours, but they do have some citrus beer that is lighter. The staff are friendly, fast, and efficient! read more

Met up with some friends here. We originally planned to go to Flying Dog but they were closed but that brought us here so we were happy about it! Great outdoor seating. Inside can get a little loud. The beer selection was fantastic. I had the guava IPA, the apricot beer, and the pineapple DIPA. All were great but the apricot reigned supreme. Tart and delicious. I tasted the melon beer which I thought I would like turned out it was very much not for me. Food truck had pizza and wings I didn't get any but my friends enjoyed the dry rub wings. Great beer, dog friendly, kid friendly and lots of food trucks. What a great place. The beer selection is diverse and I have liked everything I tried. My current favorite is their Juicemaster 5000 NEIPA. So, they have an outdoor sitting area which is where the food trucks back up. Then there is a lower garage area which is the end of the dog friendly portion of the brewery. But, there are games in there for kids and it's cranking heat so that even on a cold day it was comfortable. Inside the bar area the place was comfortably packed. Seems to draw a nice crowd but the bartenders keep up with everyone. It's right next to the new House Cat brewery and across the creek from the soon to be opening Idiom. So, you can do a 3 brewery tour without even leaving this end of the creek... OR, have some drinks here and then head into town for more bars or food. No matter where you start, it's nice that this end of the creek has become a destination. For me, I like parking here because it's no hassle and free. Visit the brewery, walk into town, come back to your car and pick up a crowler to-go on your way out. Solid. read more

This was my favorite taproom/brewery while visiting the east coast! Unfortunately we rolled in near closing and were limited in what we could sample. Emily and Julie were our bartenders and they were super friendly. They have growlers and even can their own beer in house. The only improvement that I'd make is to work out a schedule with the local food trucks so that there's something to eat while you're pounding away at their tasty brews. It's loud inside with two televisions tuned in to sports channels and not much to baffle the echo of the noise from people having a good time. Lots of seats at the bar and a couple of tables. I discovered this place from some friends! They had convenient parking and when we stepped inside, it was clean and well spaced. They also had an outdoor dining space with plenty of chairs and tables. This is definitely a local spot and they had a great selection of beers. I got the Radness and it was delicious! They offer different sizes and if you want a flight of beers, they have a table where you can write down the ones you want and they'll pour them for you. They also had a local food truck parked outside and I also got the grilled cheese and old bay french fries which paired perfectly with the beers. We've lived downtown for 12 years now and find ourselves at the creek once or twice a month since the breweries began opening down here. Attaboy has consistently had the friendliest and most welcoming staff in that time. Everyone is always warm and welcoming...which can not be said for some of their neighbors in the area. Kind customer service will bring me back to Attaboy over their local competitors. Not only amazing beers, but also super dog-friendly! The staff were extremely helpful and kind. They even brought a giant water bowl for our corgi and toy poodle. The outdoor seating is great for dogs. Plenty of space and our dogs had a great time. The food truck serving tacos that day was great. Very good quality and tasty. Need a place to chill with cheap drinks but good quality with your friends? I would recommend this place for sure. Flight is $7 for 3 drinks. We had guava no guava (refreshing,hoppy; light IPA), mayhem protocol( fruity. Light and refreshing), Ruud-er ( hoppiest our of the three) My personal fav was mayhem and I would recommend these drinks for summer time! Very very refreshing. What a fun place with fantastic brews! My girlfriend and I checked his brewery out one lazy Sunday. Being a Frederick local, I had heard about it before and wanted to try it out for myself. Now, I can't wait to return! My favorite beer they serve was their Guava No Guava (New England IPA). It was refreshing, a hint fruity, and perfectly hopped. I also tried their Red IPA and a couple of their various ales. There wasn't a single one I didn't enjoy. The bartenders were great as well. They have plenty of board games and there is usually a food truck outside, you can check their website for which food truck will be there on any given day. I tried Boxcar Burgers and it was delicious! I can't wait to get back to the brewery soon! read more

The selection of beers is great, the people are friendly and not judgmental (as they can be at other places), they have a cider on tap usually (love), and they always have local food available! You can bring your dogs to the outside area and even in cold months part of the outdoor area has heaters and will keep you toasty!
