Beer was great and love the vibe inside. They also have a cute outdoor area. Check it out if you are in Frederick!

Nice local place with food trucks everyday. I was just glad they have some sort of food option. The pizza food truck was good and it paired well with the beer. The inside is smaller and on the industrial side. It's a good size for a group of 4. Any larger and it proves to be a bit challenging to maneuver if it's busy. I think there was a larger table at a corner so perhaps a group of 6 is possible. I can't recall. I was in the counter type tables and the table is narrow so you can hear the other person talking across from you if the music is loud. I thought this was a nice choice because it was a bit loud but I could hear the conversation. The beer was okay. I did like the one that I chose that much. But I remain open minded that they have other selections that were better. They have a good sized parking lot. Friday night was busy and I luckily got the last spot.

My favorite brewery in Frederick! Make sure to check out their Instagram page for updates! I love the variety of seating they offer - indoors, the garage, and a lot of outdoor space. They usually have a food truck with great food, too! The bartenders are nice and offer suggestions/provide samples based on what you like, and the flight station is so great to help keep the bar from getting too congested! It's also very convenient that there's a parking lot right next to the brewery!

Awesome brewery in Frederick! Friendly service, great flights of brews, and lots of merch! Food truck on site and also dog friendly. Loved their barrel aged selection. Nice patio seating for warmer days.

Very solid selection of beers, but the outdoor seating is what really makes this place so fabulous. I came here after a kayaking trip and while there were certainly some folks in their Sunday brunching best, I didn't feel overly weird about being in workout clothes. Lots of gorgeous dogs and respectful owners, and just a really cool and relaxed vibe! There are food trucks that rotate on-site, but they seem to be really hit or miss. When I was there, there was one truck that was so backed up that they wouldn't even take new orders and a second truck with a really odd hodgepodge of items that no one seemed to be visiting.

Such a great spot! Love the option of either indoor or outdoor seating, makes it easier to get to the food trucks they always have going on. A terrific spot to start at if you're looking to bar hop downtown and make your way up! The sweet basic boy is delicious just like ice tea YUM!

I LOVED the looks of Attaboy, inside and out. It's super cool and has a very modern aesthetic. Plus all other patrons had their dogs, mostly puppies. I was in heaven. Unfortunately, like most breweries I visited this weekend, they were out of a lot of the beers I wanted to try. I guess it being between seasons, it makes sense, but it was still annoying! That said, I got a small flight of 3. I quite enjoyed the Basic Boy. Mermaid Blood was interesting. The Creek Life Citra was ok. I'd like to visit again, during non-Covid times and when it's not between seasons. I would like to enjoy a bigger variety of beer and bask in the environment longer.

Attaboy Beer is human tested, puppy approved! They have both Indoor and outdoor spaces with outdoor heat for those of us with less fur. Bring your BFF to enjoy a delicious slate of beers, rotating food trucks, and a friendly, attentive staff!

This was my favorite taproom/brewery while visiting the east coast! Unfortunately we rolled in near closing and were limited in what we could sample. Emily and Julie were our bartenders and they were super friendly. They have growlers and even can their own beer in house. Looking in the back they have several barrels of various aged ales waiting to be tapped. Super cool spot, they even do yoga if you are into that.

Good beer. Dog friendly in one side of the building. Like many businesses today, they could use more staff.

We were greeted immediately when we walked in and you could tell many of the folks there were regulars - like a modern Cheers vibe. My personal favorite among the beers was the En Fleur and we really liked the Penny Pincher and the Irish Stout they had. I even tried my first breakfast stout there (though I probably will never have beer for breakfast in my wiser years)! It is in the same space as a burger spot, which I think is really smart. We will definitely be back!

OMG; OMB is so freaking good!…read more Frederick has a wealth of local brewers, and Olde Mother is consistently at the top of the heap. The taproom at OMB has a warm, Cheers-like vibe (they don't know my name, but I'm working on it!). Their taps feature a rotating selection of light, sour/fruity, hoppy, dark/malty, and non-alcoholic beers. I'm a fan of their various Kolsches, and their stouts are "interesting" (I enjoyed their Morning Ritual Golden Breakfast Stout this week: looks like a lager, with a maple syrup taste that was really refreshing. Guinness it wasn't!). They also offer cocktails and wines for those poor people that can't appreciate a well-crafted, well-poured brews (pagans!). Pours are generous, prices are reasonable, value is great. They even have a selection of board games so you can while away a cold (or hot) evening by yourself or with friends. But wait: there's more... OMB shares space with Backslash Burgers (which was recently renamed from "50/50 Burgers" for what sounds like trademark reasons. Yelp hasn't caught the name change yet. You'll have to look them up under the old name for my (5 star, baby!) review. TLDR: amazing 50% beef/50% bacon smashburgers cooked to order with your choice of toppings, or you can choose from several very interesting regular offers. (If you like heat, try the "I Can't Feel My Face" burger. I dare you...). Sandwiches can be ordered as single or double patties, and can be made with chicken. Large groups can be accommodated, and there are regular events (bands, Night Markets, even a "Paint Your Pet" night are on this month's schedule) to help bring in thirsty and hungry hordes. Trivia Night is every Thursday, and it can get raucous. OMB shares a parking lot across the street with Gravel & Grind bike and coffee shop. It's not easily handicap accessible, with a few steps separating OMB and BB, and since both are self-service that could be a problem, but it's a great place to make helpful friends, no? The hours are also a little quirky for a pub (Monday-Saturday 11AM-10PM, Sunday 11AM-7PM). So, if you find your way to Frederick (and you should!), stop in for a great brew and burger. Tell 'em Randy sent ya...

Wanted a flight but the beers I wanted for the flight were from cans so could not be included, opted for the Pilsner, it was ok. The inside was very messy, the board games all messy and the merch rack needed some attention. The indoor seated room smells musky and the setas were all messy even though no one was in there because we were all at the patio. The patio on a nice weather day is perfect, and there was live music as well. A pizza truck outside and a good crowd of people. However, it was a day that needed more than one overwhelmed beertender. The lines at times were out the door. Went in for a second beer but the kolsch cans were not opening, the line became longer as the beertender tried her best to get a few open with no success. Ended up ordering the same beer as there was no other one on the menu that I prefer. Besides her needing some help, it seemed she was not supposed to be there past a certain time and that was reflected while she processed the line. Eventually she got a can opener and I was able to try the kolsch that turned out to be better than the Pilsner as I expected. Overall it was an ok experience at this place. They have various areas and games you can play. Since it was Monday night it was limited to one area that was still spacious and popular. We loved all the beer and soda cocktail we tried as well as the hot dog pastry and pickled pizza we ate. Our favorite of the beers was the apple butter one we took home a four pack of. It is a ways out from us in Silver Spring. However would love to go back and for them to either put a taproom closer to us and/or ideally but unrealistically run regular MARC service out here as my wife and I do not drive.

We brought a group of approximately 50 guests and spent the entire afternoon and evening there, from 2 p.m. until closing. Given the size of our group, I estimate we spent well over $2,000 on food and drinks. The brewery was relatively quiet when we arrived, and our party filled much of the venue. Unfortunately, we encountered several issues that made what should have been a special celebration feel unwelcome. When we arrived, children were allowed up to a belt divider separating one area of the brewery. Shortly after our group arrived, the divider was removed and we were told that the children--even well-behaved kids around 12 and 13 years old--had to move to a completely different area. This split our group apart despite there being plenty of available space. A couple of hours later, we were told that we could not use our own insulated tumblers to keep our purchased beers cold. This included the birthday guest himself. What made this especially frustrating was that we observed other patrons using tumblers without being asked to stop. The final disappointment came during the birthday celebration. We brought a cake and a sparkler candle. The manager, who I believe was Derrick Erwee, informed us that it was a fire hazard and could not be used. While I understand safety concerns, no alternative was offered, meaning my husband didn't even get the chance to blow out a birthday candle on his 50th birthday. I then asked if our group, including the children, could come together briefly for a photo and to sing Happy Birthday for just a minute or two. The request was denied. This was particularly disappointing given that a storm was happening outside and our group made up a large portion of the customers in the brewery at the time. I spoke directly with the manager to explain how these decisions were affecting our celebration, but he showed little interest in finding a reasonable accommodation or demonstrating basic customer service. I want to be clear that the bartenders were friendly and professional throughout the event. They were not the issue. However, the overall management experience left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed. After investing significant time, money, and effort into planning such an important milestone celebration, I sincerely wish I had chosen another venue. Based on our experience, I would not recommend RAK Brewing for family gatherings, large group events, milestone celebrations, or anyone expecting a customer-focused experience. I am never coming back, nor my 50 guests.
