Everything was pretty basic, but you can only expect so much from food truck food. The pork rinds were extremely hard--I couldn't even break some of them with my hands--but the pimento cheese was really good. For drinks, I got the strawberry and cream sour, and my boyfriend got the Orange Crush. Both were really good! Since it was such a sunny day, though, they did get warm pretty quickly. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed the atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

Plenty of food, but definitely worth while for those who ate endless crabs. My husband and cousin really liked the IPA there and the view was absolutely stunning. I will definitely plan to go back and get the full experience and try the various brews they have on tap. I have had the Mayta corn beer elsewhere, which eas really good. So Id be excited to have one there. I also like that they offer wine, which is a great option for non beer drinkers. Overall, good experience and worth going back!

Two reasons: (1) Someone I met at the festival said I needed to try their Apple Pie Iced Cream cider. (2) I overheard one of the reps (at the festival) say their popular cider was Raspberry which they didn't have there. So, I knew I had to stop by I was able to taste a few of their ciders on tap and it helped me in making my decisions on which to get (not to drink there but getting them to-go). Not all were on tap, but that was okay. Here is what I got (to-go): Raspberry Creamsicle Orange Cream Apple Pie Iced Cream I enjoyed all three ciders despite them being canned and I'm looking forward to trying others. Red reaper is a wine barrel aged stout, this was the best one I had, it was tasty and not too syrupy. The watermelon hard cider needs some work. It was very medicinal tasting. Like fake watermelon/cough drop flavor. Overall, it's a nice spot and maybe I will come back another time to try other products but with the amount of great breweries in Maryland, it will be a hard sell!

Yesterday was the wine tour and my first time driving in 4 wheel drive. It was a perfect experience, because I wasn't looking to break my Jeep and we didn't want to destroy the farms. We stopped at the winery and had a wonderful viogner . I highly recommend checking out them out. We can't wait to go on another 4 wheel adventure and enjoy good wine, beer, and people.

The area is protected by a large wooden fence and lit by several overhead strands of warm-white bulbs. There are two actual bars to order from - one inside and one outside. Both bars are a brief walk from the main seating area. They also have a back patio which seats about 20-30 folks; plenty of space to enjoy the weather while staying out of the elements. The drinks themselves were great; I had the IPA and the cider. I'd be more than happy to get both of them again. My whole group enjoyed the brews that they ordered. There is a semi-permanent food stand on the property that offered a number of sandwich and appetizer options. The food was just okay in my opinion (I had the chicken shawarma) but it was nice to have a convenient food option nearby. They allow you to bring in outdoor food, so feel free to plan ahead and bring your own bites. I highly recommend checking this place out - great for small groups, families, pets, and larger gatherings. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and enjoy. To get a drink, you simply order at the long bar or the side window. For those who don't drink alcohol, they also have a fun dirty soda bar to the right of the brewery inside the attached shop, Lucy's Little Red Wagon, where you place separate drink orders. Lucy's is an attraction in and of itself! You can bring your drink inside and browse the cute clothes, stylish jewelry, local snacks, and unique gifts. They have a packed event schedule with live bands, line dancing, trivia nights, cornhole, and all sorts of fun activities. We were out somewhat in this direction, and there was a Meetup group going here, so we thought to check it out as it's rare we ever go to a winery as it's normally out of the way, more likely of an occurrence when on a vacation. We took some crazy back roads from where we were in western Howard County, through Carroll, & into eastern Frederick County, where Black Ankle is. We went to the bar inside to get wines. I got a white wine; I think Chardonnay, and I think my girlfriend got a sweeter Rose or something like that. Both were delicious, but we preferred our own more. We sat outside in a nice patio area. We were in the hot Sun on that sunny day, but that was cool with me. We learned of a tour going on, which we got in on. The tour guide who wore an Italian flag bowtie was entertaining and informative. We walked around the vineyard, going inside the cooled storage areas, centrifuge area where the wine is mixed, etc. We even saw some of the old wines they had made from years earlier. We saw sheep dogs, which protect the vineyard from pests, which were cute. Overall, this is a high quality winery with plenty of nice outside & inside seating.
