More than the quality of the delivery was the sad, greasy, and tasteless sandwich they have the audacity to name a "Banh mi". A lackluster amount of flavorless and dry meat, zero pickled vegetables or anything fresh, a soggy from butter bun. Nothing even remotely resembled a banh mi. We finally graduated to the dining room for our recent visit and it was absolutely amazing. Our wait staff was perfection. Attentive, and very low key. Gave us great recommendations. We came for Mother's Day and all of us ladies were blown away! Everyone had the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes and they were LEGIT MD Crab cakes. No crappy filler. Just the best jumbo lump crab meat!! We also shared the grilled pork chop, and it was super tasty. The mashed potatoes were GREAT!! The French fries were served cold but hey, we didn't come for the fries!! This is a pretty darn good restaurant in a lovely historic area. The restoration of the building is very nicely done, the space makes for a pretty nice dining area. The staff are professional and very nice, great service ...although after being seated for dinner it did take a good 5 minutes before anyone came to the table -- but it was a bit busy when we were seated. There was very good solo guitar and singing of 60s music being performed. Very nice ambiance! Both the red and white wine we ordered were above average for local restaurants. The Caesar salad was one of the better ones in the overall area, but the Caprese appetizer was really just average although tasty! Shrimp and grits was very good and a hit. The short rib pot roast was absolutely delicious and served with very nicely done vegetables and mash. Absolutely delicious. Extra wine was ordered, and the meal was really enjoyable. Nothing to complain about and very enjoyable overall. This could be a top restaurant, but the quality to price ratio is just a tad high... It is NOT expensive, just not a bargain. Maybe I am too stingy in this review, but I do want to reiterate that the overall experience is excellent! I have dined here once before for lunch, and that was also a very good experience. We love this place! The food is fresh and delicious, the ambiance is great (especially on the bar side where we tend to sit), and the staff is out of this world! You can get anything from a perfectly cooked burger to their perfectly crispy chicken tenders (iykyk) to more refined dishes like the Cajun pasta or steak. I recently rented the upstairs banquet room for a rehearsal dinner. We had a group of 30, which was probably near the limit for a buffet. I could not have had a better experience. Ariel worked with me on every question I had. Jodi was our server and she did an amazing job! The food was delicious. They accommodated any dietary restrictions or special requests that my guests had with no issue. It is a beautiful spot! The only concern I would ever have with it is the stairs, it would have been very tricky for anyone with a disability, and I'm not aware of any alternatives. However they do have a private room on the first floor which also looks lovely. When the bill came, I was exhausted and overlooked that the tip had been included. I was at home when I realized my mistake, and they made the adjustment with no issue. All in all, a very positive dining and celebratory event location! read more

Vintage came through for me in a pinch recently, when I needed to schedule a late dinner for a group on rather short notice. Not only did they welcome us with friendly, efficient professionalism, they also served up a perfectly prepared meal of classic dishes with interesting refinements. Our group enjoyed fun cocktails, brightly seasoned and generously portioned appetizers, fresh takes on comfort foods, and finally cheesecake and chocolate torte so good that nearly everyone ordered some. French press coffee with the desserts was the perfect ending. The kids with us were able to choose from typical, simple fare as well as more interesting offerings on the kids menu. The ambiance was comfortable, and our group was seated in an area that allowed us to relax and move between tables without inconveniencing anyone else, so we were able to socialize easily. The rustic feel inside is warm and inviting, the dining room is spacious and sociable, and the bar area is great for sitting down with some expertly crafted unique cocktails and have a cozy chat. We each ordered coffee, which was delivered to the table in a French press and was so good! We also ordered the Lavender Lemonade mocktail (the regular cocktail comes with gin), which was so pretty and so tasty! We started eats with the Ahi Tuna appetizer, which was so good we ordered a second one. I had the Prime Ribeye of the specials menu, which was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. The red wine demi-glace was divine, the truffle potatoes were both crust AND fluffy, and the asparagus was so so good. My counterpart had the Spicy Seafood Pasta, which had a nice kick that wasn't overwhelming, and the sea food was cooked perfectly. We finished with the Iron Skillet Chocolate Chip Cookie. We couldn't decide between Vanilla or Cinnamon ice cream, so we got both. If you are a fan of Churros, the cinnamon is the way to go, though both were excellent, and the cookie was to die for. This is a very cozy, rustic style American restaurant. We liked how they use lot of the ingredients from local farmers. And service was very friendly and attentive. Couple suggestions for improvement: 1. Brussel sprouts appetizer was way too salty . 2. Our pork chop came out with certain part that was not cooked through . Personally, I can eat my beef steak rare... but anything pork I'm not OK with any rawness in it. The kitchen was very nice and cooked it little more. The pork chop quality was definitely very nice. My three friends and I had dinner at Vintage Sat. Dec 16th. We had 6:30pm reservations and were seated promptly. The restaurant was tastefully decorated for the holidays and our server was prompt. Throughout our dining experience our waters stayed full and our attentive waiter fulfilled our needs. We ordered the crab dip and Buffalo chicken flatbread for appetizers. The crab dip was mostly cream cheese and the everything lavash tasted of cheap oil. The Buffalo chicken flatbread was an oval Naan with chicken tenders diced up, buffalo sauce and chunks of bleu cheese. It was fine..not fantastic. I ordered the Tomahawk Pork Chop as an entree. It was slated to be served with jasmine rice and honey chipotle brussel sprouts. I asked to substitute the risotto. I quickly learned that the risotto was yesterday's rice with sliced onions and Parmesan cheese along with an offensive amount of salt and pepper. The brussel sprouts looked like they were cut by a child and so unevenly sliced that some were pure mush while others weren't cooked at all. The honey chipotle sauce had promise but it was so abundant it was obnoxious. The pork chop itself was a lovely bone in, perfectly cooked slab of meat. Unfortunately my piece was 1/3 fat strap. The sauce that accompanied it was fantastic!! My biggest suggestion for the chef is LESS can be more. The entree plate was so much competition and such lackluster flavor execution. Also--what you're serving isn't risotto. Our server and all of the staff were fantastic! The establishment was clean and well lit. read more

I am giving Vintage three stars only because our dining experience was mediocre. After it closed for two years and just re-opened a few months ago under a new chef and new management, I have to say it feels like they are still working out the "kinks." The food was fine, however we ordered the crab dip for appetizer and it was very cheesy and little crab. Then I ordered the salmon with jasmine rice and brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were flavorful with a sweet chili sauce, so it was tad spicy. Then my husband ordered the Vintage burger, which he stated was spicy and bland, since it it topped with a siracha aioli sauce. The service was a bit on the slow side even without every table being full on a Friday night. Our total bill was pretty expensive for the food, and there was an even a "Labor of Love" service charge, which I'm not exactly sure what that means. The ambiance is casual but is good for large groups or even a romantic dinner for two, since it's the old Vintage restaurant with nothing changed on the inside. However, they've started to add a 3% "Labor of Love" charge to the bill, which is a sneaky way to grab a few extra dollars per table. I don't understand why businesses can't just raise their prices slightly if costs go up - there's no need for this underhanded (and frankly, borderline illegal) charge. Server Amanda was absolutely phenomenal. She recommended several dishes and answered our questions with enthusiasm and an eagerness to ensure our visit was memorable. The meal was delicious as expected. Very prompt service and every detail was handled with precision. There is also a room located upstairs that accommodates approximately 40-guests. I inquired about the space after asking if they rented space for events. I was impressed at the organic feel of the restaurant and the event space was equally pleasing. The drinks were not mixed well with too much mixer. The Caesar salad dressing was very acidic (too much lemon?). The soups were just okay. His steak, ordered medium, came out more than well done and dry. While we loved the ambiance and that staff were nice we likely won't be returning or recommending to others.
