Definitely making a return visit. From the bartender to the food and overall experience it is worth a trip back. The place itself is very huge. Plenty of dining space. Plenty a bar area to come in and enjoy a game with friends or even solo. The drinks no complaints there. What really brought me here was the sloppy Joe eggrolls. That's right sloppy Joe eggrolls. All I can say was they were different. They weren't bad. They weren't good. They were just different. The Walker burger lives up to the hype for sure. Everything was good, no complaints. Can't wait for football season to definitely come back.

summary: a very solid spot to go for drinks and food. Lots of options for drinks and a variety of food choices to pick from as well. Walker's has kind of the ambiance of a sports bar, but elevated. The decor is clean and modern, while also feeling kind of homey/welcoming. The staff is plentiful and kind, so there was no shortage of support. As far as seating options go, they have a nice outdoor seating area as well as a beautiful indoor area with tables and booths. There's definitely no shortage of options to pick from here as far as "what do you want to eat" and "where do you want to eat it". The food options are primarily American cuisine dishes - think pizzas, sandwiches, and entrees. Everything was tasty. The fried foods were crispy and well seasoned without feeling too oily. The cajun crab pizza was my entree of choice and it was very tasty. They weren't skimping out on the crab, which is always a positive thing. And the other toppings complemented the dish well. conclusion: solid dining spot if you're in the area, but I have had experiences where they book out quick, so plan accordingly if you're trying to get seating!

Sorry, late review. Moved to the area at the beginning of July and visited twice within the month. Looks very unassuming from the outside but it's a decent size inside. One time we ate outside (pet friendly so our Beagle joined us that day). He happened to be very well behaved given he doesn't often come to dinner with us and loves ANY food. The second time, we ate inside and there was live music and bar area was busy. Both times our food was great. We kind of repeated the same dishes. We had cheese curds, walker burger, southwest chicken sandwich, margherita pizza and buffalo wings. Everything was really good. FYI, the wings were good but keep in mind they're smoked, so they're not as crispy and have the usual snap that comes with smoked wings. The service was great both times. The first time our server was George M., sorry can't remember the second. They both gave great suggestions and were very attentive. Decent prices and portions. Can't wait to go back!

Overall: American food, nice beer list with the option to build your own flight, good service, casual ambiance, indoor and outdoor seating, no reservations, gendered single-stall restrooms, baby changing table and high chairs available I've been here a handful of times. I love their beer list and that you can build your own flight. I've never had anything here that was mind-blowing or that I'd be excited to return for. Everything is fine and I haven't had anything bad. The fried fish in the fish and chips is the best thing I've had there. It fell apart a bit, but the fish was delicious and the breading was crunchy, salty, and interesting.

Came for lunch with my co workers on this particular day. I have been a few times and the food has always been good. It wasn't very crowded around 12:00 when we arrived. We were quickly seated and the waitress brought out some waters. They only have unsweetened tea so I decided on a lemonade as my beverage. We had to go back to work afterwards so no time for adult beverages. One of my co workers ordered an appetizer of the cheese curds. The cheese curds were great. They came out crispy on the outside with a melted interior. I recommend eating them while they are hot. I had one after they cooled off and it wasn't the same. It came with a garlic aioli dipping sauce that compliments them nicely. For my main I tried out the General Tso's chicken sandwich. It was just like you would think, a breaded chicken breast covered in a sweet general tsp sauce on a bun. It was good but very messy. I doubt I would order it again. The service was fast and friendly. I will come back again. One of my co workers ordered a tavern pizza that looks delicious and I have to try it.

Tried the pizza for the first time. Embellished the Margherita...amazing! Fantastic thin crust with just the right char, full bodied red sauce with just a kick of spice. Finished the meal with the S'Mores dessert..,.heavenly!

Visited again last night for dinner and had another good experience! Started with the wonton nachos again, which are just soooo good. Had the Cajun Crab Pizza & one of the salads (the one with the fried jalapeños) to share with my husband, both were also delish!

Pomegranate Mule was so good. Hit the spot.

We were on HoCo and found Walker's on Yelp. Excellent find! The staff, esp the helpful hostess were amazing. Had senior citizens with us which included walkers, canes etc and she went above and beyond to assist us and accommodate us! Our waiter Chris was super friendly and excellent at his job. And the food was Delicious!! Excellent find all the way around.

Looked up this restaurant while out of town for work. Walkers Tap & Table has a great environment. There are tables and booths + a bar area to watch sports. The spacing between the seating areas was comfortable. Let's talk about the service. The server was very polite and offered some menu recommendations. He was honest about having not tried a number of the items, however he did share customer favorites. I especially enjoyed my Beer Can Cobb salad. The mixture of ingredients with the tomato ranch dressing was very tasty. I especially enjoyed dessert. The Apple Cheesecake Cannolis was hands down a great overall dessert that was full of flavor and texture. I highly recommend checking out Walker's Tap & Table whenever you are nearby.

Crab Rangoon Nachos

Such a cute place with great vibes and large bar area. Lunch gets crowded but didn't have trouble getting a table. We come for the Crab Rangoon Nachos- yes, you heard that right... and they are fabulous. I crave them often. They have real, juicy lumps of crab. I want them now. The lasagna pizza was okay and the Autumn Pork Belly was dry- wouldn't get it again. The s'mores a la mode was fabulous with toasted marshmallow cream off to the side so you could perfectly portion your layered bites of heavenly bliss. We've also had the sandwiches in the past, which are solid. Service was a bit slow- took forever to get any drinks. Food started coming out before the drinks. So next time we will park at the bar and get the nachos and smores. **Quick update: Owner responded quickly and thoughtfully to my review. This really is a great establishment that sources locally, ingredients have always been fresh and they do a lot in the community- inc Knine events - which is where we got our rescue.

Walker's is a little out of the way if you don't live in the area but well with the trip. Lois of inside seating as well as outside options and a lounge area to wait inside and out. Food options are varied and tasty. I had the root beer BBQ wings in the recommendation of our server recently and they were sweet with a little heat. They were well cooked. Highly recommend them. I also had a burger which was delicious and big. Cooked exactly as I ordered and had house made pickles that were great. Our server was awesome she was friendly and patient as we waited for our friend. No pressure to order even though it was a busy evening. It was a nice relaxing evening.

We made a last-minute decision to try for some of the nightly jazz (except Monday) at 18th & 21st on a Friday evening (Oct 2025), hip-ly named for the prohibition amendment and repeal :-) There's a free parking garage right across from the entrance of the building they share with a sister restaurant, Cured. We arrived in the bright seasonally-decorated welcoming lobby about 7:50pm. We ought to have made reservations, but in under 10min, the reception staff took us to the more intimate room towards the back where we were seated at at the bar, which is really what we wanted. When we arrived, the 6pm jazz band had just gone on break, so we felt free to chat with friendly regulars and with the bar staff. They have a changing list of ten craft beers from $6 to $21, plus one $6 non-alcoholic brew. Five of the $14-$35 per-glass vintage wines from their list of 17 are preserved with the "corovin" system that keeps air out, so they are never "corked". We focussed on their list of 11 crafted $13-$22 cocktails plus 5 non-alcoholic ones, all made with quality ingredients, each naming the staff member(s) (and guests) who formulated the recipe! We found Alex's $16 Fernetinez sublimely sweet: of bitter fernet amaro, Frederick-based locally-sourced award-winning McClintock One Last Time gin (exclusive for 18th&21st), smooth Luxardo liqueur, and a sweet vermouth. We loved the aroma and flavor of the classic Smoked Old Fashioned of bourbon from Kentucky's 10th-oldest distillery, Green River, moved to a mild well-rounded sweetness by brown sugar simple syrup, smoked in front of me by Mike (if i remember), with added richness from smoky bitters. They have a creative menu of $30 to $65 entrees, plus salads, small plates, apps, and sides, and they have a changing menu of small plates. We really hadn't planned on eating, but we couldn't resist. The $17 duck bao buns had thin tender filets with a sweet lightly-salty apricot-soy glaze and a tangy crunchy pickled cucumber slaw on a soft folded yeasted slightly-sweet white-flour bun. The $12 pair of fried fresh-tasting oysters were sweet and juicy with a light-flavored crunchy crust. They were so yummy, and easy to enjoy with our cocktails. Rodney Kelly's jazz band was excellent, playing with spirit, joking with each other and the audience, even staging a song or two with a skilled member of the restaurant staff. Afterwards we had brief moments with some of the band members, like an intimate jazz club. Later in the evening, i also had a Turkish Sunset, a Manhattan-variation created in a collaboration among the staff and a guest (Well-done Ozzie!). I love Elijah Craig, and wanted to try their dry toasted rye, with housemade allspice dram syrup, Small Hands grenadine, and bitters. By now, i felt very much at home with the staff, and when i learned that one of them had helped formulate this beverage, i confided that its amazing complexity was, for me, just a touch too dry. Alex (if i remember) considered the ingredients and the target flavors, and added just a touch of a sweet lemony liqueur, perfectly complimenting the recipe's flavors! Real-time crafting goes above and beyond, Thank you! (And when they next update the menu, maybe they'll have a custom option named for me :-)

This was our first time here, as on prior occasions we found the line too daunting. It's a little bit off 70, but not bad. First off, this restaurant has an incredibly oversized parking lot. Maybe the restaurant has areas I didn't see, but I was a little bemused. Inside, it's decorated a bit like an old lady house with country accents. It's welcoming and nice, if a little old. I was seated and served quickly. My waitress was great. I ordered French onion soup and a bison burger with sweet potato fries. The French onion soup came out first. It had a huge layer of cheese on top, but it tasted like white cheddar. The soup itself was good at first but started getting bitter. I discovered a huge bay leaf in it. That explains that. Guys, leaving a bay leaf hidden in French onion soup is a violation of Article 35(2) of the Additional Protocol I to the Geneva Conventions. My sweet potato fries were seasoned with a chipotle cinnamon blend. It was weirdly sweet and clashed with the burger. I didn't care for it and honestly feel like if you're going to season with something weird, you should be abundantly clear. The burger was a disappointment. It was fairly basic. It was cooked right, but every so often I would get a burst of salt. I suspect the meat was salted and not well mixed. My burger, fries, and side of soup came to over $40. I am honestly being more critical of them because of that. At that price point, I expect REALLY good, not salt pockets, a left-in bay leaf, and weird seasonings.
