Such a cool hidden gem! Got a beer spa reservation for my husband's bday. He loved it and thought it was really cool! He felt it was clean and relaxing, he did say the water in the tub was too hot so it was hard to eat or drink. They offer packages that includes "all you can drink" during the hour long spa, but based on my husband's experience, it's better to drink the beers before or after. I waited with the rest of the family by the brewery and was surprised at how empty it was on a Saturday afternoon. Perhaps not many people know about this place? I've had my eye on this place for a long time. This place was so cool and unique. Unfortunately I did not go to the spa but I did enjoy sitting in the brewery and having a drink. The decor is definitely nothing I have seen before. It's bathtubs and rubber duckies! There's darts too and other assorted games. Treated myself to another birdbath spa day today to celebrate spring break. You are allowed to arrive 15 min early and have a drink at the bar while you wait for the spa to be ready. Enjoy once you go back you get changed up into your swim suit and a robe then head to your spa. I recommend wearing your swim suit under your regular clothes to cut down on your time changing. Once you are in your spa your get 50 min to soak in a mixture of hops and regular hot tub toiletries. The room is comfortable and you get unlimited beer and wine while you ate at the spa. The menu is on the wall for your convenience. You can also order food as well. Once your time in the beir bath is done you get ten minutes in the infrared sauna. Then you can get changed up in the restroom that has a full shower with shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner. I enjoyed myself and decided to have an additional drink at the bad and a bite to eat. Definitely a nice place to treat yourself. It's very affordable at $100 for a hour at the spa with unlimited drinks. The attendant was very attentive and friendly. This is a unique craft beer bar and spa. The atmosphere is very bath time with your rubber ducky while having a beer. The location is nicely tucked on the backside of the shopping center. Makes you feel like you are discovering a really good secret. Lots of parking spots close to the door. When you walk in the space it is very open and spacious. There is lots of lounge seating and tables. My favorite is the bathtub couch. As well as high top tables. And of course you can sit at the bar. There are board games as well as darts to keep you occupied. Or just simply take in the artwork. This place is good for small groups. And is kid friendly. The board games and dessert menu will win over the kids. You can fill up a growler here with one of the menu beers on tap. The craft beer menu rotates weekly. So there is always something new and exciting or different to try. The beers are very unique and I haven't had one that I didn't like yet. Even the stouts are pretty good and I usually don't like stouts or porters. The wine selection is really good as well and of course they can make you a cocktail of choice. There are lots of activities like trivia night, Latin dance night, and yoga. There is also a bier club that offers special perks as well. The spa is in the back where you can soak in a luxurious bath of "beer" (and I'm guessing epsom salt). It is very relaxing and I highly recommend trying it. I went for Valentine's weekend so my bath was filled with rose petals as well as hops and it was very pretty. After your soak you will have access to the sauna. Bierbath in Eldersburg is a hidden gem. It has rotating draft beer choices, delicious cocktails , and a variety of wines by the glass. The eclectic menu contains both South American and Bavarian-styled appetizers, sandwiches, salads and flatbreads. It's a great place to relax in the afternoon and evenings; the servers and bartenders are helpful and very friendly. Special events occur on certain nights. The trivia challenge is an especially fun way to spend a Thursday evening. Its location is a bit out of the way ( in the back area of the Princess Shopping Center) but give it a try; it's worth it! read more

We loved BierBath so much that I spoke with the owner to host my husband's 50th surprise birthday party. Without a word, they closed, and did not even contact me. I have reached out several times to the owner via Facebook and email with no response. I was very disappointed that he would leave me hanging with no venue a month before the party. Such a fun unique experience! I booked 2 months in advance. We opted for unlimited beer with our bath time (worth the extra $20 because we can DRINK). We did have a late start because we arrived as soon as they opened, but we still had the full allotted time to bath, sauna, and shower. The bath is relaxing but wish we could adjust the lights in our room. We had fun playing with the hops floating in our water. We managed 4 beers each, and our server was nice to let us have one last round at the end of our session so we stayed a bit and played darts. read more

I came on a snow day with one of my friends and we had a great time in the beer bath. We made reservations in advance for a room with 2 separate baths. We got there a little early and had a beer while we waited. The tap list was pretty extensive and featured lots of local breweries which I appreciate! Hope it's rotating. Our bartender/bath server was awesome, very attentive and she explained everything. We changed and sat in the tubs for about 40 minutes. There is a button to press if you'd like more beer (and 2 wines) while you soak which I loved. It seemed like the beer list was restricted while we were in the bath from what was available at the entire bar, but I was not 100% sure. The bath itself was really nice! Great temp and 40 minutes felt like enough time. Afterwards we sat in the sauna for 10 minutes and then took quick showers. Overall the experience was very unique, service was great, and I definitely think it's a special fun thing to do. For me the price tag is what would restrict me from coming more frequently. I might suggest some kind of "bath pass" situation, a loyalty club, or discounts for weekdays/non peak hours. This is a great addition to the area, it looks like the bar itself has lots of events and I'm happy to see something unique in business. Go check it out!! read more

Bar itself is fun. We went to eat before our soak. We ended up with 2 rounds. When we went to the bath we overheated and couldn't drink more. They offered us a free round after the bath. This is really disappointing. You saw we came in advance yet didn't offer to comp any of our earlier drinks. It's absolutely not worth getting the all you. A drink package. The tub is two small for two people. They need more than one restroom. I'm still so hot you can't be drinking. read more

A great idea and perfect for a relaxation evening, Saturday is the best day since theres is live music afterwards and the staff are all just delightful people. Suggestions are a larger tub for couples raller than 6"1, a bit more legroom would be welcome. A tub withOUT floating things even better. Lotion or oil after too would be nice addition. read more

After reading the reviews, we wanted to try the beer and food. The beer selection was outstanding. However, that's about it. Our waitress was not overly friendly, the table was wobbly and at one point my beer from my flight spilled, a little but she didn't offer to refill it, instead she said the table needed a coaster under it. She did wipe up the spill and placed the coaster under the leg of the table, but last we saw of her until the food came out. It wasn't even busy. We got the buratta with pistachios. It was way too cold to have flavor, there were tiny bits of pistachios on top and a few large walnuts. Then we both got the Harmony salad. It was just lettuce! Yes, there was an egg, no bacon and hardly any cheese. I'm glad we tried it, but disappointed. Maybe an off day for them, based on the reviews? read more

Went to Bierbath for the first time this evening and had a lovely time. I was there with my BIL, hubz, & our toddler. The server (I wish I'd gotten her name, she was really sweet) offered to bring over some crayons and paper for our kiddo, which was greatly appreciated. The beer list was interesting and had something for everyone. Hubz & I were curious about the spa and we were actually given a nice tour prior to a group coming in. Neat variety of snacky foods, shareables, sammies, & flatbreads on the menu. We shared the biggest charcuterie board they offered & my son had the little ham and cheese sammie on a pretzel bun from the kid's menu. Overall a really nice experience for a Friday night. The place looked nice and clean, but I found it odd there was no carry out seeing as I had just called and been told they do. I stood at the bar while the 2 bartenders were talking with the manager, not really concerned at that point with customers. The manager (owner?) eventually sent the woman bartender over. I said 'I called, you said you had carry out', she mumbled something and walked off to a couple sitting at the bar. So I left. Maybe they are just getting it together over there, but that was some bad customer service. read more

Our first experience with bier bath was the valentines bath special. Honestly a great spa getaway. Free drinks on tap during the experience, along with a sauna and spa shower. Stopped in last evening with my wife. They offer baths in wood tubs filled with water, hops, and barley. Wenpassed on the $100.00 soak! Waited way too long for the one (and only) bar maid, who was carrying on a long conversation with another patron, oblivious to 4 or 5 other customers waiting to be waited on. Finally, we get her attention and order a stout and wheat beer. Both beers were OK, but no big deal. Ordered a charcuterie baguette and was looking forward to a sandwich as their food offerings ameager, to say the least. It was $12.00, which is fine for a baguette sandwich. When it arrived, I almost busted out laughing! Picture 5 ultra thin round baguette slices on a plate. Each one had a communion wafer slice of some horrendous salamie topped with a 1/8" sqaure piece of cheese with marmalade and toothpick supporting it. The others were similar with some having that same horrendous salamie and "speck" of goat cheese with a very small piece of honeycomb (??? a terrible pairing!)I guarantee there was not $1.50 of anything on this plate. After we snorted the charcuterie pieces and drank the ever so average beer, we had enough of this place. Again, our bar maid was apparently giving a "philabuster speech" to her friends, and she never even turned around once to check on her patrons, so after 10 minutes, she finally came over to us. All and all, this place is trendy and will not be around long in Eldersburg. In DC, where people look for unusual and overpriced trendy joints to go, they would be fine. One and done here! read more
