Yesterday I had the opportunity to revisit Liquid Libs. It was not busy as mu previous visit. The Hostess was very friendly and pleasant; even allowed me to see the rear outdoor patio exerience that I never knew they had. That is a very nice seating option; however, there was a private event occurring so I couldnt be seated at such. They also have a front patio seating option as well. I opted to be seated at the bar for this visit as well. The bartender was not as pleasant as my entrance experience and previous visit; however he was attentive. We ordered drinks and then proceeded witj our food ordering once we received our drinks. We ordered Expresso Martini and Reposado Old Fashioned. The drinks are amazing and 5*. We ordered our food Oversized burger and Pan Seared scallops over brussel sprouts. Our food came out hot and within reasonable time. The burger is NOT an oversized burger. Regular sized and the descriptive name is deceiving. The burger option was not anything to speak on as it was not to satisfaction but quelled the hunger moment. It was over cooked. The pan seared scallops came out with a strong "fishy" smell. They however were tasty and spicy. This was a small plate as it was only 3 scallops in total. Other then the strong "fishy"smell, they were tasty. We then ordered a limoncello and was of course satisfied as it was another great tasting drink. This establishment does not have a nice and variety food menu but you will never be disappointed with the drinks. read more

Been here many times and the food is always on point. Really food pizzas, tapas, seafood and amazing cocktails. Eggplant involtini is one of my faves. The vibes here are my favorite part because the bar is so lit up and vibrant and they're always playing good throwback music. Lots of hightops to have happy hour or for some small bites. Good for a date. Never had an issue with service here- always fast and always clearing your dishes. The only thing i will say is it is a little pricey. Will keep returning though! read more

We stopped by for happy hour based upon someone's recommendation. Arrived before 5 on a Wednesday and bar seats all taken. We found 2 seats at pizza bar which is also good for happy hour. Happy hour is only at the bar and not the tables nearby. Long specials list for drinks and food. Martini and beer to start and we ordered Brussels and an oyster app. The Brussels turned out to be a cold shaved Brussels salad and was really good. The oysters were swimming in some butter sauce in a bowl w 4 toasted slices of baguette. Not good. We then ordered a pizza and it was just ok. I have a feeling we did not order the right things but now know better. They need better descriptions on happy hour menu of what you are getting but it was good (older) crowd that seemed to be regulars. Probably will return but not in big hurry. read more

This is the most fun place ever! We meet new friends every time we go there! The bartenders, Will and Jessica are wonderful and friendly all the time! They engage with clients and everyone comes back again and again, mostly because of them! The rest of the service staff are friendly also and always greet us with a smile and a welcome! This is the cutest restaurant in Timonium, MD. They have their own parking lot, high top tables, low tops, and bar seating options. This is a perfect place to come watch sports and be around friendly people. The food is pretty good. We ordered the following: * Rice Ball A+ * Crab Balls B * Beef Tacos B All of the cocktails that we tried were unsatisfactory. My recommendation is to stick with wine, beer, and cider. When we were seated, it took a while to be recognized by a server. I attribute this to the fact that it was a packed Friday night. Eventually, our waiter came and was on it. Liquid Libs staff seem to actually work together. I appreciated this because everyone helped without complaint or saying "let me get your server." Attended a Terps Alumni Association happy hour. About 50 alumni were there and it was awesome! Lots of pizzas and first free drinks. Such a nice venue. Excellent service by Linda and all the chefs and staff were wonderful! read more

Came here on a Saturday night and it was busy! Glad we made a reservation but even so we had to wait a few. However, the manager was very kind and attentive even while we were waiting, providing us with updates. We were seated and the waiter immediately greeted us. He mentioned he had only been working there for a week but he was so attentive, friendly, and willing to answer our questions - kudos to him! The food was delicious. The Cristina pizza was wonderful and had the perfect amount of truffle oil so it was flavorful but not too overwhelming or greasy. The rice ball was good too. I really enjoyed my dirty martini (filthy is right - it has plenty of olive juice) and my friends loved their espresso martinis. I can't wait to come back here next time I'm in town! read more

Came in on a Monday evening around 4:00 PM. The bar area was completely empty with two bartenders, two servers and a few kitchen staff members. Upon entering, it felt as if I interrupted their hangout session. My server, "LL," was nice but just seemed to "be there." Actually, none of the staff members seemed as if they wanted to be there in general. Kitchen staff was also loud enough you could hear their vulgar banter back and forth. Staff didn't mention happy hour, didn't state where the restrooms were, nor did they provide background information on the restaurant, the basic setup or even the specials of the day until asked. I had no idea how large the restaurant was until I wondered around for the restroom. There is a lot of potential here, however, with mediocre staff and food it seems to be coasting. I was in the area for a work event and after searching "happy hour," came here to have a glass of wine, a few apps and work on my laptop to pass time while traffic settled down. Since there were no electrical outlets at the bar, I sat adjacent to the bar but they would not allow happy hour at the table. Lame. I was the ONLY person seated. Ordered an overpriced Chardonnay ($12), ceviche ($14.95), and sweet and sour shrimp (15.95). Totaling a ridiculous $45.84 w/tax. The ceviche was drenched in lime juice. Surprisingly, even with the heavy lime juice pour, the fish still smelled "fishy" and not in that fresh seawater fish way. But the entire appetizer was so tart that it destroyed the roof of my mouth. The sweet and sour shrimp consisted of three very limp "large" shrimp which looked and tasted as if they were defrosted and thrown on to my plate. If you like wine, come here for happy hour but maybe eat elsewhere beforehand or afterwards. read more

People who go there regularly, such as myself, agree that they have a charming combination of ambience, staff, and food and drink offerings, that somehow mesh together to make going there a great experience. I found LL's through Yelp, and have been a regular for a few years now, with time off for COVID-19. I am a fan of their specialty cocktails -- the classic Espresso Martini, the Boulevardier, and the relatively new Southside. And of course many others. Love the tapas/small plates, pizzas, and atmosphere. Extensive stock of wines, Italian (and non-Italian) dishes and desserts. It's a tale of two cities here-if you venture off to the rest rooms on the other side of the split restaurant you will encounter a much less lively scene--soft Italian music and a mature crowd enjoying their traditional Italian dinners. That is Liberatore's. But Liquid Lib's gives of an entirely different vibe. It's a lively, full scale bar but offers much more, like artisan style pizza, short ribs, crab dip, charcuterie , salads, and more. Waiters have always been pleasant. It's a small place that gets very crowded on weeknights, so call-ahead or be prepared for a wait. Music is loud but not distracting. Sometimes there are live musicians. LL is located in a large office building off of Deerco Road. It's connected to and owned by Liberatore's, but the tapas bar menu means you can eat more reasonably here. read more

We just moved to Towson and Liquid Lib's was the first restaurant we tried! Pleased to say that after being spoiled with all the amazing food options in the city, that Liquid Lib's still met our expectations for great food and a nice dining experience. We came for dinner on a Thursday and there was live music which was cool. (However the volume was pretty loud even sitting at the farthest table from the speakers, so I probably wouldn't come here if I was trying to have an important dinner conversation). Even around 7 PM, the bar was full and it seems like a very popular spot for locals. Overall the food and drinks were great! There is an awesome cocktail menu with a wide variety of cocktails, an extensive wine list, and the tapas menu was great and very reasonably priced! Highlights included the ahi tuna and the scallops. I also appreciate a menu that has a lot of different salad options. I can't wait to try more of their tapas and cocktails. Will absolutely be adding Liquid Libs to our regular dining rotation now that we're in the county! read more

Liquid Lib's is a good place to grab a refined bit and some great libations. Then again, it is called Liquid Lib's, the libation sister to Libertore's Restaurant. We decided to stop by and it was clear that LL's has a local following. We sat at the bar and had fantastic service that included well made cocktails and great recommendations for our tapas. Solid place, especially for a ladies night out. The drink menu is underwhelming but they have a decent selection of wine and the toffee dessert was quite tasty. I always have a great time whenever I visit Liquid Libs. I've had table service, as well as sat at the bar. I've never had an issue with the food or service. I prefer to sit at the bar. It's dark in there so the lights at the bar kind of give a glow effect. It's ample parking although it's a shared parking lot. Enjoyed a delicious happy hour date night here! It's been forever since we went out for happy hour in door dining and we missed hanging out in places like this. Liquid Lib's has a wonderful welcoming cool vibe. Covid safe and super friendly staff with lots of seating, even outdoor seating for nice days! All of the food was on point and delicious! Especially the lamb chops, they were cooked perfectly and had a nice fire roasted oven flavor and a side of fingerling potatoes. My other favorite was the TUNA TARTARE, so good, and seasoned so well. The wasabi avocado aioli is a perfect compliment to the tuna... If I could I would eat this tuna tartare and the lamb chops everyday! read more

Came here for the first time and absolutely loved it. It is a smaller place- dim lighting, loud music, and nice atmosphere. I ordered the cab- Bella cosa. I really enjoyed it. For food we got- fried oysters, dynamite shrimp, eggplant, braised short rib, and the Cristina pizza. We really liked everything. My favorites were the eggplant and shrimp but the Cristina Pizza was really good too. For dessert we got a slice of strawberry cake and the cheesecake. The strawberry cake was spongey and fresh. I wasn't a huge fan of the cheesecake. Our server, Jacob, was absolutely amazing!!! He gave us great recommendations and was really attentive. He seemed like he genuinely liked his job and was happy to be there. No lie, he was one of the best servers we've had. We will definitely be back again. I have not been here since last year's lockdown. They haven't missed a beat. I always love going here. The happy hour specials are great, the wine list is extensive and the food is delicious. This place was all around amazing, took my girlfriend here for date night and we had a great experience. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive and even when we ordered our crab dip he brought extra bread before we even asked. The food was excellent as well we ate the crab dip, cream of crab soup and the shrimp tacos, all were very delicious. I ordered the colada martini and it was an extremely well made drink. This place is 10/10 from the way it's decorated and music they play on the stereo, we will definitely be going again. read more

First of all when I tried to click the contact link on the website it said unavailable, hence why I am having to write this review on here. The food was good, therefore I can't complain about that at all. The service on the other hand was terrible at the end. We were a party of 8 and we got our food timely compared to when we ordered it, but we ended up waiting about 20 minutes after everyone was done until we got our bills only to find that 4 of them were incorrect. At this point we are nearing 40 minutes after we were ready to go. I am writing this as I am still waiting on my check so I can finally leave. Hopefully I can find a link to contact the restaurant so I can let them know what happened. Update: I am still here almost 2 hours later waiting for my check due a "system issue" yet I have seen other patrons pay and leave. read more

My first time here. Nice place to meet on a date or with coworkers/friends. They have a large dining area in the back so I'm sure this place could accommodate any group. Food is delicious! I had deviled eggs, cream of crab soup, and lamb chops. Lastly what is dinner without wine? My friend wanted to get the Oregon Pinot Noir. At $45 bottle it was just okay, but who looks to Oregon for wine (not my idea, lol). We finished with my suggestion of the Justin Cabernet Sauvignon and it was perfect. I'd heard a friend speak of this place, so I went to Happy Hour. I like the small plate idea, but 2 small plates , couple drinks and you are spending bucks. The grilled garlic shrimp appetizer was great, delicious and succulent and I tasted the crab dip which was perfect. Not a great draft selection though, but they had a variety which worked out fine. The bartender was fine, but the one bald bartender appeared surly and unapproachable that night. I avoided him. This could be a great spot, but it just is missing character. Who is this bar marketing to? They have attractive bartenders/ waiters/waitresses with charisma, and style and the food is great. I am returning for a full meal. read more

The appetizers were great, I got a chocolate martini which was amazing (if you like creamy cocktail that's on the sweeter side).

We have been here a few times and always enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. Tonight we brought friends who had never been, and while the atmosphere remained the same, we were disappointed with the food. We ordered several tapas dishes -- the braised ribs were over cooked, & worse, the scallops were undercooked. This was brought to the server's attention but nothing was said about it.
