Best pizza and best happy hour prices around. Recently added about a dozen beers on draft. Happy hours gets crowed and noisy. Monday HH staff was in full force and "taking care of business" our entire stay.

This is the cutest restaurant in Timonium, MD. They have their own parking lot, high top tables, low tops, and bar seating options. This is a perfect place to come watch sports and be around friendly people. The food is pretty good. We ordered the following: * Rice Ball A+ * Crab Balls B * Beef Tacos B All of the cocktails that we tried were unsatisfactory. My recommendation is to stick with wine, beer, and cider. When we were seated, it took a while to be recognized by a server. I attribute this to the fact that it was a packed Friday night. Eventually, our waiter came and was on it. Liquid Libs staff seem to actually work together. I appreciated this because everyone helped without complaint or saying "let me get your server." Although I gave three stars, Id like to visit again.

Came here on a Saturday night and it was busy! Glad we made a reservation but even so we had to wait a few. However, the manager was very kind and attentive even while we were waiting, providing us with updates. We were seated and the waiter immediately greeted us. He mentioned he had only been working there for a week but he was so attentive, friendly, and willing to answer our questions - kudos to him! The food was delicious. The Cristina pizza was wonderful and had the perfect amount of truffle oil so it was flavorful but not too overwhelming or greasy. The rice ball was good too. I really enjoyed my dirty martini (filthy is right - it has plenty of olive juice) and my friends loved their espresso martinis. I can't wait to come back here next time I'm in town!

Love the tapas/small plates, pizzas, and atmosphere. Extensive stock of wines, Italian (and non-Italian) dishes and desserts. It's a tale of two cities here-if you venture off to the rest rooms on the other side of the split restaurant you will encounter a much less lively scene--soft Italian music and a mature crowd enjoying their traditional Italian dinners. That is Liberatore's. But Liquid Lib's gives of an entirely different vibe. It's a lively, full scale bar but offers much more, like artisan style pizza, short ribs, crab dip, charcuterie , salads, and more. Waiters have always been pleasant. It's a small place that gets very crowded on weeknights, so call-ahead or be prepared for a wait. Music is loud but not distracting. Sometimes there are live musicians. LL is located in a large office building off of Deerco Road. It's connected to and owned by Liberatore's, but the tapas bar menu means you can eat more reasonably here.

The bar staff were more concerned with serving other staff & where they were going to continue drinking after the bar closed.I waited 15 mins before I was greeted even though there were only 4 other guest seated at the bar & 2 were co workers.I waited another 15 minutes to order & the kitchen was closing so I had to settle for pizza which was a great idea but the service was so bad I ordered it to go .I wish my first experience was better

MAKE A RESERVATION, ot you could have a long wait to be seated. I often start with the Maryland Crab Soup. The broth is good, but the star of the soup is the abundance of Jumbo Lump Crab Meat. We've all been to restaurants that are very light on Crab in the soup. Vito's does not skimp! Now admittedly we usually head right for Pasta in our main courses, so I can't speak for the meat entrees. But the pasta is perfect, the sauces are delicious, and the portions are generous.

The reasons for the reduced rating are the things I was disappointed with. We got the garlic shrimp appetizer to split, and it came with 3 shrimp and tons of sauce. It was good and tasty, but it was chintzy, and there's no two ways around it. When I ordered my veal marsala, I asked if it came with a side of pasta, and my server was honest that it did, until they changed it two weeks earlier. Honestly, I felt that was super cheap to get rid of a side of pasta--pasta is so inexpensive--for a dish like veal marsala, where part of the dish is the pasta soaking up the delicious marsala sauce. So, honestly, for a fine-dining restaurant, that's a pretty cheap thing to do, and I'm not sure I could return. Again, your food is very tasty, and the service was excellent, but 3 shrimp and no pasta leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

We moved to AZ 7 years ago and quickly learned that there is no such thing as a good crabcake outside of Maryland. A few years after our wedding, the restaurant changed hands and became McFaul's Ironhorse Tavern. Initially, we were a bit concerned but that concern proved to be unfounded! With every trip back to MD, we always tried to stop into McFauls for - yup, a Maryland Crabcake (broiled), an ear or two of MD sweet corn and a cold Natty Boh! (My Dad used to work for National Brewing Co., so the beer choice was nostalgic, but honest! There is NO Natty Boh west of the Mississippi!) Anyway, nostalgia played a role in our choice of dining at McFaul's - but only ever so slightly! Until last night! We arrived at 5:30pm and had our choice of seating. It was a bit too warm to dine outside, so we chose a table for four near the fireplace. Two other tables were being served and the entire restaurant had not hit it's peak customer load! I settled in for my latest crabcake dinner. I chose the single crab cake with two sides. (Dinner: $35.00) but I am getting ahead of myself. Service was slow, waters only came right out and then the wait began. 10 minutes later, our server arrived to take our drink order. Of course, I ordered a can of Natty Boh. I also asked for a glass for my beer. 8 minutes later, the beer arrived (no glass.) Other drinks wandered in, but still no glass for the beer. I drank my water (which was also served in a beer-type glass) and waited. Our server returned to take our dinner order (still no glass!) Orders now placed and my can of Boh still needing a glass, I finished my water and poured (properly, of course) my Natty Boh into my empty, but still cold water glass. I enjoyed the first sip! Ahhhhh! Table talk proceeded and I started to dream of my cake! (BTW - no choice of broiled or fried!) Our server returned with a menu adjustment for one of our guests - kitchen was out of something. Oh yeah, my frosted glass finally arrived. (Too late!) Here's the sad part... our dinners were just so so. My small crabcake was surronded by about 25 fries and a mini Caeser's Salad. I had asked for two cups of cocktail sauce - I received one cocktail sauce and one tarter sauce. I have seen bigger crabcakes in the frozen food section of Giant Food. I was even served a cake twice as large at Camden Yards - of all places - for $28.00! One of our guests that ordered Fish & Chips received a full plate Caeser's Salad and about 50-60 fries (for way less money!) Here's my rap... I was not even mildly impressed by our food, service or ambiance! My, how the mighty have fallen. I will now remove McFaul's (with great sadness) from my "Must Visit When in MD" list! Reasons are as above, but for those that don't like to read all the dastardly details - Mediocre Food, Slow Unattentive Service, and A Tavern Ambiance that sorely needs a refresh! Sorry Folks, but Baltimore has WAY better to offer! SMH!
