I feel bad for this location in that it's up on the 3rd floor of a dying mall so the foot traffic is next to nothing. I'm sure a good portion of visitors aren't even aware that it's there in the first place. However, you can use that to you benefit. If you're in the mood for a decent mall soft pretzel, you can so easily get in and out of this location because there is never a line and the employees always have the time to whip out your order almost instantly. Are they super happy and cheerful? No. But they're probably just bored so I'm not nocking them for it. read more

I absolutely LOVE Wetzel's Pretzels and almost always get one whenever I find myself in a mall. Today I was trying out the Teaspoon boba spot across from this Wetzel's location so I decided to get 2 plain pretzels I could enjoy with my drink. The employee that helped me was Sun-Ah and she was pleasant enough, however the pretzels weren't as hot and fresh as I'm used to (specifically at the Westfield Sherman Oaks location). The total for 2 pretzels plus one caramel dipping sauce came out to $17.09. Pretty pricey. Ate my pretzel outside on the terrace with my drink. read more

I enjoy Wetzel's Pretzels and order Cinnamon Bites, Pretzel Dogs, or regular pretzel. +Almond Pretzel = 4/5 First time trying. I think these are the best pretzels they have beside the cinnamon. I watched the person prepare it and they take the pretzel, dip it in butter, then coat it with almond cinnamony flake dust. It has a a buttery/ caramel taste when you bite into it and the almond is surprisingly tasty. Try Pretzel Dog with Caramel (surprisingly really good) Try their cinnamon bites 4/5 because I noticed through the glass screen they don't fill up enough pretzels in the bags and they didn't look that great. They were deformed so the technique to making these need some work. read more

My girlfriend and I came here after watching a movie because we wanted a quick snack. We ended up getting some pizza bitz and wetzel bitz. The wetzel bitz looked like the bag was 3/4 full and the total came out to a whopping $17 and change which seemed very overpriced considering what it was. Both bitz were stale, cold and had no flavor. Within about 10 minutes of eating them our stomachs began to hurt. My girlfriend eventually vomited and my head began to hurt. We hadn't ate anything all day so it had to be this. Even a day later we still feel sick from this place. I should've read all the bad reviews before coming here. Super disappointed in the bag of pretzel bitz I had purchased today. Considering, it's nearly $7 for one bag of these I was expecting the same quality as other locations. Today it was an older Asian lady that helped with my order. I normally order the almond crunch flavored bitz. They normally put the bag in a bowl, brush them with butter, and then mix in the almond crunch so that it's evenly coated before they put them back in the bag. This time the lady literally dipped the brush in butter, swirled the top of the bag, and dropped two scoops of almond crunch in the bag then handed it to me. I guess I'm supposed to mix it myself? They're lucky they're the only pretzel joint at this mall otherwise they wouldn't have business. read more

We were in downtown Burbank to attend the art festival during the weekend and wanted the snack. We weren't thrilled with the food selection at the festival so we popped inside the mall to see if we can grab something there. And there was a Wetzel's Pretzel located just outside the nice outdoor area. We decided to get something here and take it outside since they had a DJ and some art on display. Boy, the customer service is bad here! The lady working here is very unpleasant, doesn't know what she sells, I had to ask her three times about the topping on a pretzel to kinda get an answer out of her. My husband was giving up. The selection isn't the best for the chain, but they had a booth at the festival where they were charging about $ 2 more for a pretzel than here! I got a bag of wetzel bitz, I wasn't thanked or anything. Didn't even get the receipt. The food was decent, but the customer service needs a lot of improvement for me to shop here again. I attempted to order food for my kids but the cashier/server was putting her fingers in each bag as she grabbed them. I asked her if she could please grab the bag from the bottom rather than putting her fingers inside and she just kept grabbing more bags in the same unsanitary manner. I told her she should not be touching money and then touching food without gloves but she did not listen to me at all and just kept grabbing more bags. After asking her several times to please stop contaminating the food and her not listening, I just left without any treats for my kids. If I could give no stars.. I would. I am a huge Wetzel fan and so is my best friend. We usually will come here to get a freshly made pretzel and some bites before a movie. Yesterday we decided to follow through with our precovid tradition and visited this stand. I really regret having done so though. First off, the employee who was helping us was very rude. When I asked if she had fresh pretzels WITHOUT butter & just salt she said yes. That was really hard for me to believe as I have visited many other stands and that is something that is specially made for me as they are ALWAYS made with butter. Ignoring me when I said "I can get VERY sick from the butter that's put on the pretzel" she grabs the FIRST, front & old pretzel that's been left there for God knows how many hours and throws it into the bag. My friend ordered her pizza bites and was treated with the same discourteous manner. She threw her bites into the bag and rang up the total without hearing my friend ask for her jalapeño cheese sauce. The employee responded with a "what jalapeño cheese sauce?"... did she not work there to know there was a sauce? Anyways, she and I trusted that we were going to be offered fresh and delicious food... BEST BELIEVE IT WAS A NIGHTMARE! I was so upset!!! Upon sitting in the theater, exited to enjoy the pretzel during my movie I pull out a GRESSY, BUTTERED PRETZEL! I told this lady I couldn't have a buttered pretzel and she lied! There's something that just doesn't sit well with me, besides the stale $5 pretzel and yucky lemonade. Having to pay $15 for 1 pretzel, 1 mini hot dog pretzels thing, and 1 small pink lemonade is just NOT right. Especially since I couldn't chew the pretzel, and the mini hot dogs didn't taste right. I can't get over the pricing and I don't know if it is just this location or all WP but I never remembered it being so pricy here. This morning I went to the Wetzels pretzels on the top floor in the Burbank mall. The caucasian girl working there had just begun her shift to open the place so there was no pretzels ready and told me they would be ready in 30 minutes. When I came back 40 minutes later she was barely putting them in the oven. She asked me what I wanted which was a cheese pretzel for my son so she then charged me for it and told me it would be ready in 7 minutes so once again I took a lap inside the mall and when I went back she did not even acknowledge me standing there but took out a cheese pretzel and placed it in the display area right in front of me. I asked her if I could have the one she just put in there but she wanted to give me the other one that she took out the oven which looked burned. When I told her again that I wanted the one in the display she laughed at me and said that they are all the same. When she finally gave me the one that I wanted she asked me if I had already paid for it. This girl could not only not remember her transactions but she was so rude. Worst service ever! read more

I was charged $9 when I ask I was told that was a special Monday through Thursday even though that was not written on the sign. I normally would never give a one star, but this location I have frequented more than once, and every time, it has been awful. I tried to give this place a couple tries before deciding to write this review. I love 3 things: popcorn, mac n cheese, and soft pretzel's, with Wetzel's being my favorite kind. This location has a very rude Asian female manager or owner. Any time Wetzel's is doing a promotion or you are trying to redeem a coupon, she acts like she doesn't know how to do it or says you need a flyer for "National pretzel day" where all wetzel's give free pretzel's to everyone......but her location......i think something is wrong here. I tried to use a buy 1 get 1pretzel from Wetzel's app, and she made me buy the small hot dog bitz to get my free pretzel.....we literally just wanted 2 pretzels exactly like the coupon stated. So, we didn't get what we wanted and was charged for the most expensive thing on the menu which was like buying 2 pretzels....I just don't understand. If you drive to the Glendale Galleria Mall, they have a huge main store front and then smaller kiosks through out the mall. It is worth the 10 minute drive to get a better mall and much better service from any of them inside the Glendale Galleria. It is also worth driving into Hollywood and going on Hollywood blvd, finding parking, and walking up to that one than coming to this one. Today I came with a coupon for free pretzal bitz, the asian lady (I think the manager on duty) had trouble speaking english, didnt know how to work a coupon ( she legit tried to scan the coupon before she brought up the barcode then said it doesnt work), once I marked redeemed she scanned it and then went on to say that it didnt go through (even though on my side it showed that it took the price off and that I owed nothing), she went on to say that it happened to 3 or 4 other people today. So she didnt say anything scanned and used up my coupon after she supposedly knew it wasnt working. So she used my coupon and tried to not give me the pretzal, and lied and told me that it would work somewhere else even though when another worker from there scanned it again it said it was not redeemable. Aftet me protesting, 20 to 30 minutes of the lady on the phone with someone else, a little under our breath trash talking by me and my girlfriend about how we getting ripped off I finally got the pretzal bitz. my sister s and I went to this place on Friday, August 1st. The people working here have ZERO customer's service skills. we stood by the counter for 2 minutes but some lady and a guy refused to acknowledge us. after two minutes we told them we would like to get some pretzel. the lady looked at us and looked away in disgust.
