Wanted to watch the game but also wanted to see our niece preform near this location so the wife and I came here to watch the USMNT soccer game. Grab a beer and some food and then jump over to the performance. Michael, our server at the bar, was awesome. Very attentive and the place was very nice and clean. Smaller than most locations and parking was 2nd level at the parking structure next door. Otherwise, everything was great.

We were in the area and my daughter wanted to go in for happy hour since it was her birthday. We were seated pretty quickly. It was starting to get busy. Our waiter was great took our orders pretty quickly brought us our items out. We received everything in a pretty good amount of time. The drinks were really good and strong The food was great Price was great during happy hour

I've been to other BJ's but their Burbank location isn't quite on par with the one in Huntington Beach. The place was clean so I have no complaints. However, the service here is slower. Our server got our orders quickly (salad and burger), but drink refills were hard to come by. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes for our pizookie to be served to our table. Food-wise, there was no significant difference between HB and Burbank. Overall, three stars.

Extremely slow service, waited 20 minutes for regular sodas. Hair in food, feathers on wings. No clean up whatsoever. Definitely not coming back to this place

Great beer and great pizza! We used the app before we left our Airbnb to get on the waitlist. Upon arrival at BJ's, we used their valet parking ($8), then checked in with the hostess. We were told a 10-15 minute wait. It was about 10 minutes. We were seated in server Michael C's area. He did well taking our order and checking in on us a couple of times. The beer was tasty and cold. I had Brewnette and my wife had the Oasis Amber. For dinner, we shared the Shareable size 1/2 and 1/2 deep dish pizza. One half was BBQ Chicken and the other half was Epic 5-Meat. Loved it. Great crust and amazing toppings. We have 2 slices leftover for breakfast!

We stopped by and sat at the bar for a couple of drinks and some appetizers. We ordered the chicken wings and egg rolls, and everything was delicious. The food and drinks were great, and we enjoyed what we ordered. Unfortunately, our experience with the bartender was disappointing. He seemed like he didn't want to be there and acted as though we were bothering him by being customers. His attitude made us uncomfortable I was even hesitant to ask for napkins because of how unwelcoming he seemed. It's unfortunate because the food itself was very good. However, because of the poor service at the bar, I don't think I'll be returning.

Empty restaurant yet had to wait 30 minutes to be seated and 40 minutes to get our food

I don't like to leave bad reviews, but this was frustrating! We came on July 15th, a Wednesday at 4 PM to grab something to eat before going to a concert at The Greek. The place must have been super understaffed because even though there were barely any customers, they told us we'd have a 30 minute wait, which was very unexpected for this time of day. The bar area was a little busy, but the rest of the restaurant was nearly empty (see pics) really just one other family besides us. After we were finally seated we waited another 40 minutes between ordering and getting our food. We thought we had allowed ample time to eat and get to the concert early, but after the long wait time realized we were cutting it close, so we told them to start our Pazooki's early and we were rushing to get out the door in time. The waiter was nice, but saw several of the waiters just standing around because there really wasn't any business. The food was just ok, I got a smash-burger, the mini Pazooki was yummy as usual! I'm not sure how they stay in business being so empty and with the poor service and wait time. Our BJ's in Santa Clarita is always busy, but they get you in quick and service is great! I probably would never return here again!

Bj' s has become our go to spot. Well managed, a great menu and superior service characterize this branch. The 13.00 lunch special is incredible. Smash burger and fried chicken are our favs. Add a pizookie in the deal too. Burger is a bomb layered with cheese, pickle , onion and a tangy burger sauce. Fried chicken breast on a bed of mashed potatoes with corn is a must here . Service was great on a crowded Friday lunch . Samantha handled some special requests in our party in an expert attentive manner. Plenty of parking here with a great sports pub atmosphere. See you next time! Ps Allison and Sophia have been great servers here in past weeks also !

I had a very mixed experience at BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse in Burbank. My biggest issue has nothing to do with the food or the employees inside--it's the parking situation. BJ's advertises "complimentary valet parking," but it doesn't feel complimentary when the signs indicate that gratuity is appreciated and customers feel pressured to tip just to park their cars. What makes it even more frustrating is that there appears to be available parking on the property, and there is also free three-hour parking directly across the street. This is BJ's, not a luxury steakhouse where valet service is expected. The whole setup feels unnecessary and inconvenient. I understand that BJ's may not actually own the parking lot and that there could be agreements with neighboring businesses or the property owner. However, from a customer's perspective, there should be a better system in place that allows both businesses to utilize the available parking without guests feeling like valet is the only option. The current arrangement simply doesn't make much sense and leaves a bad first impression before you even walk through the door. That being said, the parking situation is absolutely not a reflection of the service inside the restaurant. I was dining alone, and from the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. My server, Jenneth, was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and on top of everything throughout my meal. Stacey and Jake also went above and beyond with their kindness and service. You can tell these are genuinely good people who care about their guests and take pride in their work. In the end, I happily tipped Jake $5, Stacey $5, and my server, Jenneth, $5 because they earned it. I'd much rather spend my money rewarding employees who provided outstanding service than feel obligated to tip for a so-called "complimentary" valet service. Management should seriously reconsider the parking arrangement because it's hurting the customer experience before people even sit down to eat. Fortunately, the exceptional service from Stacey and Jake turned what started as a frustrating experience into an enjoyable meal, and they are the reason I would consider returning.

Our server was very kind and attentive. My friend and I came in not knowing what we wanted or what we were in the mood for. He took the time to give us recommendations from every section of the menu, from burgers, pasta, pizza, salads, and more. He was extremely helpful and made narrowing down our choices so much easier. We ended up going with pizza and he was able to accommodate us with a half and half pizza, which turned out to be delicious. Great service overall

Went on friday, busy, waiting for table was around 20mins at 7pm. Waiter was attentive. Very loud and lots of families were here. Id recommend going here more for the bar and Pizookies rather than the entrees. Caesar salad: 3/5 pretty standard Mozzarella tomato caprese salad: 4/5 yum! Pineapple mocktail: 4/5 pretty good Limited grass attack ipa beer: 4/5 fruity start, strong ipa hoppy aftertaste BJ deep dish, BJ favorite toppings: 3.5/5 not bad but it needed to be in the oven longer Weekend Prime rib special: 3/5 Oh man that's chewy, be sure to cut it thin. Very large amount they give. I guess tenderness depends on the cut they give, maybe the end of day cuts aren't the best so the earlier the better. The horseradish was good. Mashed potatoes was good, asparagus was actually nice. woulda been lower rated if it weren't for the sides. Biscoff Pizookie: 5/5 OMG DELICIOUS just perfect sweetness and Biscoff cookie flavor Cookies and cream Pizookie: 4/5 good but outclassed by the Biscoff one.

our food: Cherry Chipotle salmon with couscous & veggies, Shrimp Scampi, Tri tip, mashed potatoes& veggies.

Well, I guess it's time for another BJ's update! It's been several years since I was last here and I've really been craving it for the last few days. I asked my son if he wanted to go have dinner there and he said yes, so we decided to head over last night. When we arrived, we were kind of surprised to see how packed the place was on a Wednesday night! The restaurant was very crowded and the waiting area was also full of people waiting for their table. It took us 25 minutes to be seated and we were greeted by our server Aaron. Aaron was fantastic. He was taking care of a bunch of tables and killing it all night long. He was very patient, attentive, smart and personable. He did not write down anything while taking our order and there wasn't a single thing wrong or missing from our food once all the food got there. My son also asked for water with no ice, which people usually dismiss and still bring him water with ice, but Aaron actually listened and brought his water without any ice. As it started to wind down towards the end of his shift and our dinner, we even got to chat with him for a little bit and it made the experience that much better. He didn't make us feel like just another table. His service, personality, and demeanor were all qualities of an exemplary employee. The place has your typical brewhouse vibe. Loud, good 70s/80s music playing, a bunch of huge flatscreen TVs playing sports, and of course, people drinking and having a good time. For an appetizer, we ordered the Pan-Fried dumplings which were delicious on their own, but the soy-ginger sauce was a salt bomb. I also ordered a starter Caesar Salad for myself and it was drenched in way too much dressing for my taste. My son's entree was the Cherry Chipotle salmon, which he liked and said was yummy. I ordered the Tri Tip and Shrimp Scampi combo with Mashed Potatoes and Roasted Veggies (Broccoli, Cauliflower and Bell Peppers). Although everything was tasty and delicious, the shrimp was literally SWIMMING in so much butter and oil, I had to pat each one dry before I ate it and I told Aaron to get rid of the bowl of sauce right away. It was insanely excessive and no one needs that much butter on their shrimp. The shrimp and salad being drenched in sauce/dressing respectively is why I'm leaving this review at 4 stars instead of 5. For dessert, we got their ICONIC Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with Vanilla Ice Cream, which was delicious as always. Another great visit to BJ's with great food, great vibes, and great service! Thank you to Aaron and all the other employees and kitchen staff for doing a great job. We will definitely be back, and hopefully the salad/shrimp will not be overflowing with dressing/butter.

Bit of a fight to find parking on a crowded Friday night, but Valet parking is offered for $8 or you can try your luck with the open parking on the second floor. As a party of 6, we were seated rather quickly after waiting 10 minutes. Server did check on us consistently but would seem to forget what we had requested (waters, ranch, marinara sauce). Since it was friday, I shared the prime rib meal (that comes with a pizookie). Steak had quite a bit of fat and came rare instead of medium rare. Which was fine for me but too red for who I shared with. It was odd that half of us got our meals and the other half had to wait 5 minutes to get there's. We were told it was a delay on the French fries. What we enjoyed most were the pizookies! Chocolate chip and strawberry shortcake were delicious and soft. Our bday boy got his free pizookie and we noted a clear difference. His cookie was hard. Unsure if it was cause it was a salted caramel flavor or cause it was free. No song was sung for him which we didnt mind as we can sing it ourselves but I know some people choose restaurants based on that. Overall, I would recommend this place as somewhere to meet with friends for drinks, appetizers, and a dessert (not the bday ones though)

Granville came recommended for their gluten free offerings and that proved to be completely true. We arrived to a full patio on a weekday, with a mixture of smart dressed likely business individuals and more casual locals, but the staff worked out how to make a smaller table fit 4 of us so we could enjoy the sun too. We ordered a round of amazing drinks and met our waitress, who was just as kind as she was knowledgeable. She talked with us casually, which I love, gave us great recommendations, and knew the gluten free offerings forwards and backwards. Not only did she know the menu, she came out with everything we requested in one go, which seems rare anymore in serving. The food here is amazing. It's local, quality, and even with a gluten free bun, moist and flavorful. None of us could shut up about this place and honestly, I'm surprised I'd never been before. Definitely will be back.

Didn't want run of the mill food so opted to try Broken Compass Tiki. When we walked in we were wondering what we were in for. After being taken into the restaurant we both fell in love. The place was so fun, the food was epic and service tremendous. Since our first visit literally 4 months ago, I have taken people 3 different times to this restaurant. I don't live any where near Burbank but in the last few months had the pleasure of being near there and telling friends we had to go! It's so fun to go with first timers. Great vegan options too for my friend who is Vegan and usually gets a salad and fries ha.

    - Broken Compass Tiki…read more My girlfriend and I absolutely loved Broken Compass Tiki. I originally found it on TikTok, followed up with a few YouTube videos, and knew I had to check it out the next time we were in Burbank. It completely lived up to the hype. Parking can be a little challenging since it's in Burbank, but we got lucky and found a street parking spot nearby. If you don't get as lucky, driving around the block or into the surrounding neighborhood should eventually turn something up. We arrived about 20 minutes after they opened, and there were already several people inside. By the time we left, the place was filling up quickly, so it's definitely a popular spot. I surprised my girlfriend by keeping the destination a secret and just telling her we were going somewhere fun with a unique theme. She loved it. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding. Both the bartender and our server were incredibly welcoming. Our server asked whether it was our first visit and took the time to ask what kinds of drinks we normally enjoy before making recommendations. I really appreciated that he wasn't just trying to upsell us. Instead, he explained why he thought certain cocktails were better choices based on our preferences, and every recommendation ended up being spot on. As you'd expect from a tiki bar, the cocktail menu is heavily rum-focused, but there are also non-alcoholic drinks, a small beer selection, and wine available if rum isn't your thing. I ordered the Zombie Magic first, which was delicious and definitely packed a punch. After that, I tried the 100 Year Cigar, a Scotch-based cocktail that was perfect for slowly sipping. Both drinks were fantastic. My girlfriend ordered the Painkiller and the Navy Grog, and she loved both of them. We started with the Shut It Polly wings, crispy chicken wings tossed in a spicy Thai peanut sauce, and they were outstanding. We also ordered the Aloha Dippers with the Cajun seasoning. I paired mine with the Chipotle Citrus Aioli, while my girlfriend chose the Firecracker sauce. Both dipping sauces were excellent and complemented the fries really well. For our entrées, I ordered the Pub Burger with Irish cheddar, onion strings, and horseradish aioli, cooked to order. It was excellent. My girlfriend ordered the Shrimp & Lobster Roll, and we both enjoyed it. The only item that didn't quite meet our expectations was the macaroni salad that came with our meals. We've had some incredible macaroni salad at Hawaiian restaurants, and this one just didn't quite compare. It certainly wasn't bad, but it was the one part of the meal that didn't stand out. One thing that really impressed me was how accommodating the staff was regarding my raw fruit allergy. I explained what I could and couldn't safely eat or drink, and our server took it seriously. He made sure every cocktail recommendation was safe for me without sacrificing flavor or experience. That level of attention made me feel comfortable ordering drinks I otherwise might have avoided. The décor is also worth mentioning. The pirate-themed exterior transitions into a fun pirate-and-tiki atmosphere inside that really adds to the experience without feeling overdone. Overall, this place exceeded our expectations. The drinks were strong and creative, the food was excellent, the service was some of the best we've had in a long time, and the atmosphere was a blast. There are still plenty of cocktails on the menu that I'd like to try, so we'll definitely be back the next time we're in Burbank.

Think about it: they're running the entire operation behind the scenes- servers, inventory, scheduling, front of house, kitchen area, customers, and putting up with all the nonsense in between, and I know there's a lot of *that* as a former restaurant worker myself! That's why Allison at Finney's is so kick-ass. She runs Finney's flawlessly. I'm a big foodie and hit up lots of different restaurants around LA, and Finney's in Burbank has definitely become my go-to spot. Allison does such a great job of providing a great customer experience from the moment I walk in to paying my tab. It's not just her welcoming demeanor, but it's also the same positive energy I see in the staff when she's running things. It's nice to know there are still places that care about a great customer experience and making you and your friends right at home, especially when you're celebrating with some of your closest friends and creating perhaps some of your final memories of LA.

The host sat us down at a two top. It felt quite small, so we asked if we could move to the booth that just opened up. Very pleased that they didnt even hesitate to let us. We ordered the house IPAs and they were deliciously hoppy. Will be back to try their other house beers for sure. We ordered the brussel sprouts with bacon for our appetizer. The figs was such a nice sweet layer to the crispy, crunch, and tart brussels. Paired well with the bacon too. Ordered the proscuitto with arugula flatbread for our "main". Amazed that it was $14 and it was a pretty big flatbread! I would say that the proscuitto wasnt spread out enough. There were some pieces that didnt have any at all! The proscuitto gave the salty, arugula added a nice pepper flavor, and the honey drizzle gave it a sweetness. Checked all the boxes. Will definitely be back to try more of their bar bites, if not just for that flatbread and beers!

I was a bit put off that you can not get a receipt without giving your phone number, which I, traveling the world, try to avoid. I hate getting advertising messages while trying to sleep. Sadly, my family situation makes it necessary to keep the phone on my nightstand. Service in the restaurant was almost immaculate. He was extremely friendly and helpful - I just wished he had the decency to let us finish our sentences and not brutally cut into sensible conversations for no reason other than asking if we may refill my water or if we wanted to see the desert menu. We were early - 5pm on a Monday, the place filled up later. There was no pressure, waiting five seconds and not interrupting the customer would have achieved much. $22 for a cocktail during happy hour is a high price. They were sensational though, in every aspect - design, content and presentation. I wish I had photographed all of them, not only mine. We shared the large charcuterie plate which was a blast. A bargain actually. I had not expected this. Steaks were grilled to perfection, sides were great. Sadly, my lobster tail was totally overcooked and cold. I was invited. Everyone had a great time - and I did not want to spoil the occasion. I did not say anything. The free dessert for our "birthday child" - she got 81 - was thoughtful and above all, very very delicious. Sadly, the issues were substantial enough to make the cut the 5 stars to 4. Still I highly recommend the place - if you can spare $500 for four.

We found this place last minute to watch the final FIFA World Cup game when we were turned around…read morefrom another spot. Thank god we got turned away because this place is a hidden gem. They do have parking behind the building which seems to fill pretty quickly if they're busy, but it's easy to find parking around the neighborhood. I am not usually in the tavern scene so I was surprised that we had to order and pay at the bar, but it wasn't a big issue. My friend and I split the kale caesar salad and the macaroni and cheese. For the table, I ordered the waffle fries after being informed by the kind waitress that that was the better choice over the pretzel (which she also said was amazing). Since the place was filling up for the final, the kitchen was a bit slow, but we barely noticed with how attentive the staff were in getting us drinks and refills. When it came to food, we were pleasantly surprised with this place and is honestly the reason I'm writing this review. The first things we got were the Beef Tallow Waffle Fries, Caesar Salad, and mac and cheese. Obviously the fries were much better, however the salad was also divine but just swimming in dressing. Back to the fries, we all were mindblown with how tavern fries could be this good and had so many flavors. Even the skinny queens in our group kept snacking on them which tells you how good these were. Mac and cheese came and it was standard and creamy but not necessarily something I'd return for. The surprising thing on top of the fries that majority of us loved was the Vegan Tomato Scampi with shrimp. It was fire and had me questioning if it was even Vegan. Would definitely return here if I find my way back to SoCal from the Bay. Great unassuming place with great food and vibes. Their bathroom as well is super clean and nice! Love this place!

That says a lot about the staff. Our server, she was a young lady, was on top of everything and really made our time here enjoyable. I came here for happy hour on a Tuesday was surprised to find out they do $2 tacos and $5 margaritas. Let me tell you, the tacos are delicious and the margaritas are STRONG. It's a hell of a good time. I really enjoyed the chicken taco and carne asada taco. The meats were juicy and very flavorful. I also ordered their nachos, chili cheese fries and bread pudding. The nachos were made perfectly with the chips being thin and crispy. They used a couple different cheeses and the jalapeños were a nice touch. Definitely ordering it again, I can do without the chili cheese fries. It was good but it wasn't amazing. Their bread pudding was HUGE and I can see why it's one of the popular items here. The bread was crispy on the outside and soft and gooey in the inside. Morrisons is definitely a fun place to be. Perfect to enjoy happy hour, catch the games on, and hang out friends. They have plenty of seating inside and outdoor with heat lamps. They are dog and kid friendly as well

But when we walked in we saw the parking lot, so we moved the car. (Rare for a restaurant to have a parking lot. About 12 parking spots ) The drinks were tasty. I got the lemon drink, wife got the sweet white drink. .(forget the names) Appetizer. Mexican corn ribs. Funny name. Was super tasty. Was going to order the lamb kafta , but a few minutes later the waiter reported it's unavailable tonight. Instead I went with the dolma . I have had grape leaves in the past , my mom would make them. These were amazing. Packed with loads of flavor. No regrets ! My wife ordered the lamb chops, excellent. Service was great. Ambience was good, nice enough for a nice date night. Would return.

I didn't take pics or walk around the whole restaurant because I was on a date, but will be returning for more. I had a short rib, beet, cabbage soup of sort. My first bite was a bit more beety tasting than I was expected, but then added the dollop of sour cream provided, and it was like magic. It was a unique combination of flavors. Perfect for a dreary night. Filling and warming, and delicious . The presentation was beautiful as well. My date ordered a steak that also came with vegetables. He enjoyed, and it was cooked perfectly Our waitress was great. She had a good sense of what level of attention each table needed as I watched her. My only regret last night was not ordering some pistachio cheesecake that a table next to us ordered when seemingly just coming in for a quick dessert. This is a great place for a family dinner or a date, or something a little bit more upscale. Love that they had a parking lot, as well as there was plenty of street parking. I'm excited to return to try some more things on the menu. You can also call for reservations, although it was surprisingly not very busy for a Saturday night.
