It's time to update my review from seven years ago. So many years have passed and this place is still a five star review. The best customer service in the community. My husband and I stopped by to have lunch here and it did not disappoint. We ordered croissants, coffee and their special grilled chicken kebab sandwich. It was so fresh and delicious. Good portion and price. I was especially surprised by how amazing their croissants tasted. Wow. Will go back just for the croissants alone. Customer service was welcoming and helpful. Overall a great place to stop by any time of the day. You won't be disappointed.

Found this gem on tik tok. Absolutely love this bakery. We were in the hunt for the fruit pastries & they have a large selection of different ones to choose from. Each one is 10$. The employees are all very kind and patient. Ambiance here is very chill, I believe the bakery is also spit into a pizza place? Over all each visit here has been pleasant. There is a parking lot structure in the back or there is also street parking. The pastries we got were the mango & raspberry which were absolutely delicious, refreshing. They have filling inside that isn't too heavy or sweet, just the perfect taste. The crunch of the mango was my favorite.

Insanely delicious pastries

Absolutely worth a trip. Gotta pull up for the pastries but also the choices of food at the kitchen are legendary. More options for desserts than a NFL draft. Gotta pull up & stay Eatin, support a family business & great hardworking ambiance.

Tried famous fruit desserts here. It's not what I expected. The mousse and purée inside were not as good as it looks. Service was good. I expected more flavor and quality from this price.

I always pass by and can't believe I've never been here before. Altadena was amazing. The food was delicious and they had such a huge selection of pastries and desserts. There were so many croissants, cakes, and baked goods to choose from. We ended up getting a Nutella croissant and a pistachio croissant, plus the steak and chicken sandwich. Everything was fresh and really flavorful. We also ordered the hazelnut coffee which paired perfectly with the pastries. Before leaving I made sure to grab two tiramisus to go and they were just as good as everything else. This place is seriously delicious, and honestly that's an understatement. I definitely see myself coming back again. I originally saw their pizza and Cajun fries advertised on Instagram, so I'll definitely be coming back to try those next.

I visited this location again recently. This is the closest bakery to where I live so I usually go there to pick up pastries. They have really good pastries and they taste good. Unfortunately, most of the items don't have prices so it gets confusing. I had to ask the employees several times for the price of the items. For service, some employees are nice and friendly. They take the time to help customers and don't make you feel rushed. But some employees are not that friendly. This bakery can get really busy on the weekends. There are long lines for ordering. This bakery has several tables outside which makes it convenient to order coffee and pastries and enjoy them by sitting outside. For parking, this bakery has a parking lot in the back and also street parking is available too. This location prefers cash transactions and cash is welcomed. They are charging 3% credit card fee for all transactions.

Tik Tok viral videos convinced me to try their fruit mousse. Little did I know that they are $10 each! They are real looking fruits with a thin chocolate shell filled with light mousse and pieces of fruit filling. Spent a good $70!!! But I would come back to buy one or two. Also, it's a bit messy to eat, so make sure you have a lot of napkins. Mango 7/10 Blueberry 6/10 Mushroom 9/10 Raspberry 7/10 Pina Colada 8/10 Tip: For the best experience, I recommended to enjoy these immediately, as their soft, structure makes them delicate to transport. Eat it there unless you live 5 minutes away as the shell isn't as crispy if you wait 30 minutes to eat them, the shell is no longer as hard. Definitely put it in the freezer if you buy several.

Our first time here it's been on our list and finally had a chance to go. Customer service was great young lady was super friendly and helpful We picked a lot of desserts to try they look amazing and so cute My granddaughter had a blast picking out her desserts Everything was really good very flavorful and looked like a different kinda fruit A few were a bit more pricey because of the design This is definitely a place to splurge every once in awhile We paid $84 dollars for everything we got We even ordered a pizza and it was absolutely delicious! Would definitely go back again

Tried the Burbank location and I'm so glad they opened here -- I've been wanting to try the viral mousse but didn't want to drive all the way to Altadena just for it. We ordered the mango mousse, hazelnut mousse, and a mocha latte. Everything tasted as good as it looked -- light, balanced, and not overly sweet. The line was long but it moved pretty quickly, which I appreciated. Definitely worth the stop if you've been curious about the hype.

Took the hour drive to come out and try the fruit desserts and the pizza! The fruit desserts were good we got one of each but if I had to choose my top three it would definitely be the mango, mushroom and the coffee one! The coffee shaped one was hands down my ultimate fave! The pizza was very good and the bakery is super cute they have alot of different options to choose from and the service is phenomenal! The bakery is super cute and clean! I highly recommend trying this gem you will not be disappointed

My family and I flew in early to Burbank airport. It was too early to check into our hotel so we decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat and try one of their viral, fruit mousse pastries. The bakery is less than 10 minute drive from the Burbank airport. It was not too busy on a Saturday around 11 AM, but there was a study flow of customers coming in to pick up their cake orders or to pick up a few pastry items. The employees were nice and knowledgeable about the bakery's offerings. There are a few small tables with chairs to sit at to quickly enjoy your delicious bakery items, pizza, sandwich, coffee and/or other offerings. We ordered the popular Armenian Pizza for lunch, the viral fruit mousse pastry (mango which is most popular) and a hazelnut eclair. Everything we had was delicious and highly recommended. Their many real-looking fruit mousse pastries are $10 each, but well worth the cost as they are delicious, not too sweet and very satisfying to cut/bite into. If you are in the Burbank area and want to try something different or some more familiar food items, you should definitely come to Alta Dena Bakery.

Love this bakery! We heard about this bakery through social media, so we decided that we had to give them a try. I ordered several types of pastries and a breakfast sandwich. I'm not super familiar with Armenian food, so I didn't know what to expect. I mistakenly assumed it would be like most bakery's. My group and I had mixed reviews on the pastries. Some were really yummy, and some were a little dry. With coffee, I'm sure they would have been great. Overall, I still really really liked the selections that I enjoyed. For my sandwich, we were very thrown off by whatever flavoring/seasoning they put in the eggs. We were not a fan. Like I said, not used to Armenian food, so maybe this was a thing, and our taste buds aren't adjusted. But... The rest of the sandwich was great. Well made, and very tasty bread! Minus the flavoring in the eggs, it was a perfect sandwich. The stag was helpful, but not the most hospitable. They handled business though, so no worries there. Overall, a good visit. If I were nearby, I'd visit again.

Pastrami Sandwich

Whoa, this place is super good ! The pastrami sandwich is amazing; everything from the bread to the meat and portion size was absolutely perfect. Ajarski is definitely worth a try, t's super pizza like but with no tomato sauce. Tried the meat lovers which was soft boiled eggs, cheese, sausage, pepperoni, bacon, and ham Last but not least is the mango mousse. Best way to explain this is a creamy mousse with a fruit compote center, encased in white chocolate candy coating. Aesthetically pleasing and looked just like a colorful mango! This place is awesome; definitely will return

Do the desserts contain animal gelatin?

Well, I checked out their pastries, and it would seem that no there's no gelatin in their pastries and that their pastries are a cream and compote filling.

Do they serve halal meat?

Well, they do have pizzeria and what you can get on the pizza is a wide variety of different topics. Halal meat? Idk for sure, I would think most likely.

This time, we ordered the mango sticky rice shaved ice, and it was so good my husband and I were mind-blown. Naturally, I asked a random customer what all the hype was about, and they told me this place was famous for their croissant pastries. Well... next thing you know, I'm standing in line too after a very full lunch. I ended up trying the Chocolate Almond Croissant for $6.50, and let me tell you something -- I am a HUGE croissant girlie. While I'm not normally the biggest chocolate person, Spain and Portugal recently changed my perspective on dark chocolate, and apparently now I'm in my dark chocolate era. And honestly? This croissant was BETTER than the super popular pastry we had in Barcelona, Spain. The chocolate wasn't overpowering at all -- it had the perfect amount of dark sweetness without being too rich. But the real surprise was the almond filling layered at the bottom. Oh my gosh... chef's kiss. Nutty, creamy, not overly sweet, and perfectly balanced.
