A big thank you to Yelp for the amazing suggestion!!! I normally like to go into shops to see what they have, but I trusted the reviews, and am soooo happy I did! I ordered online, scheduled the pick up and voilà, done! Everything was delicious and fresh! The stand out for me were the Linzies cookies! They were so nutty, buttery, soft and delicious. The quality is in every bite. So satisfying and decadent. That will be the first thing I order again. I also ordered the soft pretzels too, which were good. But the Cacio e Pepe Pretzel Snails were my favorite!! We also ordered the Curried Lemon Chickpea Mash which was so fresh, bursting with the most amazing flavors. Used that on the pretzels. It's also a great pita dip. Dealing with Nici was a pleasure and she made the whole process effortless. Thank you!!

Hey Pretzel is our favorite place to get amazing, fresh baked pretzels (cacio e pepe ones are THE BEST!) They also have some sweets (cookies and zebra cake!) on their menu which we've ordered for gatherings, celebrations, and gifts! Everything is baked to order and their items are always crowd pleasers! Visiting my mom in South Pasadena and randomly found this hidden pretzel shop which happened to be a few blocks away. I ordered the cacio e pepe cheese pretzel online for pickup the next day. They were fresh out of the oven , the cheesy, crispy crust + soft chewy middle = absolute perfection. Can't wait to go back and try the other flavors. If you love pretzels, this place is a must. read more

We had a Hollywood Bowl Night...I was responsible for bread selection with salad and veggies. I ordered from Hey Pretzel...I was the hit of the night...there were pretzels, caci y Pepe snail rolls, and pretzel sausage rolls that had a perfect place indent for chicken salad...lucky I brought bags for left overs! When you're in the mood for a warm NY pretzel in Los Angeles, look no further! These pretzels came straight out of the oven and on to my doorstep at the designated delivery time. Recently ordered some delicious baked goods from Linzie's for a football party. The pretzel snails were absolutely delicious and not a single one was leftover by the end of the night. Ordering was easy and delivery was on time. Also the lemon cookie sables were divine- do yourself a favor and get them. Friends saw the pics and are already requesting the pretzel rolls. My husband recently surprised me with some Mini Linzer Tarts and WOW are they delicious! You can tell that Linzies uses the best and freshest ingredients. I ordered some Linzies to try and wow! My whole family LOVED them. The crust had a nice nutty taste and it wasn't overly sweet. Great balance and texture. I even stored some in an airtight container over a few days and they still tasted great. This would be a great dessert to bring to a party! read more

I started this business in 2023 as Linzies focusing on European baked goods. After a couple years of selling mostly pretzels it was time to change the name and make it more of an official pretzel shop. Hey Pretzel focuses mostly on pretzels but we do also have sweet options on the website to choose from. It has been an amazing experience meeting lots of people in the community and serving them yummy bakes.

It is now our favorite local place to unwind with a few libations, some games and usually an enormous, delicious pretzel. The staff is next-level friendly, and it rubs off on the customers, most of which are regulars. They host so many events and always keep the menu exciting. Plus they have an awesome dog-friendly patio! Love this place. The only negative thing I'd say is that the roar of the customers against the hard-surfaced walls and ceiling can really get overwhelming at times, but whatever. Not usually a big deal. Just hit the patio if it's too noisy inside. Definitely check out the place if you haven't yet.

It's nice to see the workers use their magic to whip up the dough and form the pretzels and the times that I've ordered from here, the wait is never too long. Workers are friendly and quite efficient. With the location conveniently near the exit I use to get to my garage pit parking, it works out nicely for me if I want to grab a pizza pretzel to go (my usual go to). I have to say the pretzel that I got was amazing. I love the cinnamon option. It was very buttery at the base and also the cinnamon added a great churro like bite to eat, and it was great. I wasn't really sure how to line up and the line really isn't that intuitive but it all worked out in the team member there had to man in the tire booth by herself and she did a great job and she was coming out with orders fairly regularly. Be sure to join their rewards club. It is a little bit weird where on my android it wouldn't work, but then on the iPhone it worked fine and a lot of hiccups. If you're in the mall looking for some great pretzels make sure to come here to Wetzel's.

It is extremely clean and does not smell like a typical meat counter. The selection of smoked and cured meats as well as sausages is impressive. I used to go to Alpine Village before it closed, and this shop provides similar German style products. The service is great. They answer your questions and provide great recommendations. My favorite hands down is the butter cheese which is packed in the refrigerated case, sliced and ready to go. That cheese with pumpernickel bread (which they also offer) is so comforting. There are multiple types of salami, with the German style being my favorite. I really enjoyed the imported caraway crackers which was a lighter alternative to the more solid breads. It's the type of place where you will always find delicious specialty snacks with each visit.

Schreiner's has a new staff of younger people, many of whom exhibit an unfortunate lack of hospitality, and for an establishment that serves sandwiches and deli meats, if kindness and gratitude for your loyal guests is not enough for you to manage from your position with such a once great establishment, then you my young friends are without a doubt not cut out to be in the food service industry. I give Schreiner's a few years before they are shut down if this new staff has any say.

But she said we could get a free refill. Since I wanted to take advantage of the refill I went inside to inquire but the order counter had gotten extremely busy. So I asked one of the bus/wait staff outside if they could grab my refill. He directed me inside and he commented how busy they were but I said I didn't want to wait in the huge line simply for a refill, so he offered to meet me inside to get the refill. Eventually I did receive the refill and we left. Overall, for the price of the food I felt the service was very average bordering on subpar, and the food was meh for the price. I don't blame the staff as they all seemed to be working very hard, but perhaps they were understaffed which would be more of a management issue. We basically bussed a couple tables on our own and waited what eventually amounted to 20-25 minutes for an ice tea/lemonade. I pre-tipped when I bought the food, which I kind of regretted but also felt bad that the employees were understaffed so I likely would have left a tip anyways. I don't plan to go back anytime soon. Wish the food and service were better

I hadn't been in since right around the pandemic, so it was heartwarming to see they made it through and are still flourishing. The espresso was absolutely luscious, and as a bonus, we got the prettiest latte art with hearts in our drinks, big love for that! Really wish I had more time to hang out on the comfy couches in the middle of the shop and soak in some vinyl tunes. Can't wait to come back and spend a morning here the right way, highly recommended!
