I was in a bit of a pickle. I am a musician and I had an important rehearsal in the evening the day I went by Watch Gallery at the Sun Valley Mall. Both pairs of my existing glasses had broken temples, one broken temple per pair of glasses. MIKE at Watch Gallery was amazing and in under an hour he had fastened the temples that were broken onto the existing pair of frames and made them usable. I did not have time to order new frames or glasses or do anything like that. MIKE made it happen and was really kind, smart, courteous, friendly, and affordable. Checked out a couple g watches, they didn't have too many watches to choose from but got one of my watch battery's replaced with a fair price. They did it fairly quick, and had my watch working like it old self again. Was around $20 for a new battery hopefully that's the going price everywhere. The watch shop also repairs glasses. When I had insurance that would pay more for frames I was able to buy stylish frames. I want to use what I have now as long as they are somewhat in style. The first time I came in I brought glasses that looked to me as though they were falling apart; the nice man who waited on me took a look and said they were fine. Then I stepped on my other pair of glasses and this time the arms were bent. I took them in to see if they could be saved. The same person waited on me. He wasn't sure if they could be repaired. If they could it would be $20 and if not it would be no charge. Either way, it would take 30 minutes. I went and had a massage when I came back he was able to repair them. Had to get some watches battery replaced, and the repairman said it'll be around $20, so I agreed. He said they'll be done in 10 minutes, so I left then came back. When I came back, the watches were done, and then he told me my total was $65. I was so confused, then he told me that the price is $20 PER WATCH. I told him that he should've explained that before or spoke louder. He then laughed, as if it was a joke. He has a thicker accent & I'm hard of hearing so it's difficult to understand sometimes. The work was already done, and I wasn't just gonna tell him to undo the work. I reluctantly paid the man, and left. 1 Star for fast service though, I'll give them that. read more

I thought something was loose inside my Seiko automatic and called seven different shops in the area around 2:30pm on a Tuesday. Mike was the only one who picked up. Not super surprising given the pandemic but also a +1 because I was able to speak to him right away about my concerns. He asked me to bring it in so he could take a look because it was likely I didn't need a full service so 20 mins later I walked through the Sun Valley Mall and into his shop. He splits space with a sunglasses shop and him and the other owner were there. The other owner was very nice too. Mike likes watches, you can tell. We went over my concerns and he acknowledged that he heard something "loose" inside. He removed the back while I watched and spun the internals. To my relief it was only a slightly loose rotor. He explained that it is not uncommon and that over torquing the screw can break the rotor. He reattached the case and gave me back my watch after inspecting the gasket and internals for rust and dirt. No charge. I had him change the battery on my 16 year old Citizen as well and it was done in 3 minutes flat for a very reasonable price. He also inspected it for rust and dust and showed me that it was in very good condition. He's a good salesman but didn't try to upsell me. If you're looking for a nice Seiko, Citizen, or Bulova watch get in touch with him, he has a nice collection on hand. Highly recommend him for other services as well, he will be very transparent with you. read more

Buying a used luxury watch can be a scary thing! Recently bought a used Rolex GMT, it had box and papers but still wanted that piece of mind to know that it was genuine.
