This place is generally pretty solid. My wife and I are from Chicago, and we are no strangers to good Italian food, and while this probably wouldn't make our regular rotation of Italian food in Chicago, Houston is in a state of constant need of an even remotely edible italian experience. That said, we do like this place for a night out. We've tried many of their pizza combinations, and we have yet to be disappointed. The pasta is just okay, i have never understood paying 20 bucks for something you can easily make at home unless there is a signature sauce of some sort (there is not) I'm not a salad expert, nor do I claim to be (can make the best salad of all time for 6 dollars at home), but the folks I was with seemed to enjoy their leaves. Overall, this is a good spot for a decent non-fancy but also non-casual meal. It's right next to the Houston improv, a movie theater, and lots of other activities, so it's a good starting point for the night read more

We hosted the rehearsal dinner for our son and his bride at Warehouse 72. Mr. Richard Howell and the staff at Warehouse 72 did an outstanding job. The food, drinks, staff, and the atmosphere provided all of the guest with a great experience. Richard was supportive and flexible with us during the entire planning process. Our guests loved being there and enjoyed the the Warehouse 72 experience. Thank You! Thank You! We would gladly host another party at Warehouse 72! read more

On their website they call themselves "an elevated, curated experience" and with a lot of hype in various media outlets I went in with a degree of expectation. Unfortunately I learned not to believe the hype machine as I left quite disappointed in my meal. Sequentially: 1. Ordered 2 of their signature cocktails. They looked awesome on their instagram. What I got did not look like online and was literally the 2 worst tastings cocktails I've ever had. The "explorer" tasted like lemonade but they forgot the sugar. The "Phoenix" was all liquor. I love alcohol but they were both horribly unbalanced 2. Got the HRW menu and got the fried mozzarella and salad. The salad was good. Flavorful and balanced. The fried mozzarella was semi cold and made extremely bland, like not even salt and pepper on it. 3. Got the short rib pasta. The short rib was the best part of the meal it was savory and filling. The pasta sauce with again was bland. We also got steak which was ok but over cooked. Maybe if they didn't have the hype and it wasn't obvious they are trying be something they're not I'd could give another star. But they are competing against the best in the city and I turn some of the best chefs in the country. I learned that these are the same people that did spaghetti warehouse which is where I'd put this restaurant good for families, but nothing deserving of the hype it has received and certainly not elevated. read more

Warehouse 72 is such a great restaurant. You will love the atmosphere of the restaurant the moment you walk in. The paintings on the wall add such a vibe. The restaurant has excellent service and the food is delicious! Drinks are always on point. 10/10 this restaurant never fails. For appetizers try the mozzarella sticks and oysters, main entree try the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli - trust me it will be the best salmon you've ever had! For dessert you have you try to deconstructed s'mores it's absolutely delicious! read more

Service was great and the food was pretty good 8/10. They were playing live jazz music and the ambiance was a relaxing brunch vibe. We had the passion fruit mimosas which were a great flavor but very weak mimosas as far as what champagne they choose to use or maybe it was the amount of champagne used compared to the large amount of passion fruit used. Id definitely come back to check them out in the future! read more

My husband and I went here with friends for our wedding anniversary. The staff was super friendly and always on top of everything. They kept our drinks full, always asked if they could get us anything else, and went out of their way to make us happy. They even brought us an anniversary card with all the staff signatures on it. The food was excellent! We all four enjoyed our dishes tremendously! We will definitely go back. read more

I tried the short rib ragu pappardelle pasta dish from Warehouse 72 and thought it was great! The pasta was al dente, the sauce was tasty and the short rib was tender--a tasty combination. Service was good as well. While Warehouse 72 may not be my favorite Italian spot in Houston, it's a good option. read more

Beautiful aesthetics. Food was mid, I had 3 Brussels sprouts with my salmon dinner and my Caesar salad looked like it was a day before expiration and over saturated in dull Caesar dressing. There was live music and the genre did not flow well with the aesthetics. Felt like I was at a senior citizen luncheon, but not. Ohh and The mixed drinks tasted like juice . Wouldn't recommend. read more

I've been to Warehouse 72 twice in the last month! One for the restaurant week brunch menu and the other I ordered off of the regular menu. My first visit, I was surprised by the cute venue and live music! There were so many good options on the menu that my cousin and I decided to plan a second visit immediately. I ordered the frozen drink of the day - a frozen raspberry lemon drop which was strong and delicious. For the appetizer I ordered the broiled oysters and the fried mozzarella. For the entree I ordered the shrimp and grits. Everything was delicious and well, not overly seasoned. My second visit I had the frozen drink of the day - blood orange mule, OMG it was amazing. I had 2! I ordered the half Caesar salad, one of the best Caesar salads I've ever had...and I'm picky. Then I had the seafood risotto which had the perfect selection of seafood! I wanted dessert but had no room. The service was excellent and the waiters were attentive. I will definitely be back to try other items and drinks of the day! read more

Beautiful restaurant, great vibe, but the food is just okay. They have live music here and noise can be a bit loud to talk over music. The music gives off a great vibe though! Wall morals displayed through the restaurant of women. Breath taking!! Only down side is the service and the food. Our server forget what dishes we order even though he order a technology device while taking our orders. We had a few runners serving someone else's entree. The food is served a little warm. I was expecting it to be HOT! The warm food quickly became cold and ruined the dish. Maybe I'll give it another try? read more

I attended a birthday brunch there recently. Very nice restaurant and great food. Service was great also. I had the shrimp and grits. I will be returning. read more

The food tasted great, but the service and running seemed to still be working out the kinks. Long gaps between being seated and drink orders, then getting the drinks and ordering food, then actually getting the food. I know my parents don't like it when appetizers come out after sides (soup, salad, fried cheese) that are ordered with the entrees. The bill came and it was wrong, missing all of our drinks. The inside ambience and decor was really nice, LOVED the chairs at the tables, super comfortable. read more

It's a cool spot for a nice dinner in the area! Maybe it's because it's new, but the service was a little chaotic but it's a great spot for big parties. Unexpected but the scallops on my seafood dish were so so so delicious. read more

Richard the manager is the best host ever!!! If you've never been here you need to check it out!!? The food and staff is awesome!!

My friends and I took my sister here to celebrate her birthday and it was terrible!!! They are participating in Houston Restaurant 2023 and they were out of items on the menu and the service was slow. Our bacon cheeseburger were basically raw , missing the bacon and the fries were cold. Twice the burger came under cooked! The manager was of no assistance offering to recook the food which forced us to eat in shifts not as a family. Do not waste your time patronizing this restaurant. Nice ambiance that's about all. read more

Not only was the food and drink just perfect but the service the gentleman gave us went above and beyond. I feel bad that I do not remember his name but just wow. We came here with a friend and our young son for my birthday. He was sad that he wasn't able to eat anything due to his multiple food allergies and when I ask if they had any fruits or avocado that I could just by and cut for him he found him blueberries, made sure it was wash and didn't touch anything and even put on gloves which almost made me cry. I rarely ever order things for my son and bring his food but what he did makes me want to go over and over again and bring my son knowing he can have something and that they will just be as conscious as I am with his food. The server gave me the best birthday gift and my son was over joy. read more

Wondering ambience with a kind and knowledge waitress. The food was lovely and affordable for the quality of food you're receiving. Perfect for date night or even business meetings of any kind. I have been frequenting this place since the plague started. I have always loved the enthusiasm that Richard and Mike Dalby and now, team, attack the dining room. The Ks fashioners are always on point. The happy hour is impossible to beat with great pricing and delicious munchies. I have taken my family and dates and am always greeted with warmth and amazing food and service. If Either Richard or Mike sees me, they say hello, no matter how busy they are. I used to sit wherever Mike was served by and now that he's managing o just enjoy sone banter. The chef driven food is amazing the Z'atar chicken and pork belly and Mac n cheese are two of my favorites. I had a bad feeling about the location but these two gentlemen and the team that they have surrounded themselves with can conquer the world!!! I'm getting hungry writing this read more

So my fiancé initially picked this restaurant because of the unique art work, ambiance and exotic menu. We celebrated his birthday and he wanted a different experience from the common restaurant scene and I was hoping they wouldn't disappoint. I wanted it to be a perfect night. Well let me just say they definitely did not fail in anyway! We had a party of 16 people and yet we still had the best service ( thank you Cesar, our waiter and his crew) and the food was amazing too! Everyone at our table was impressed and raved about their drinks and food! The prices were very reasonable considering the quality/quantity. Food was amazing!! The staff was so nice and attentive. I believe it was the owner stop by our table twice to make sure we needed anything. We tried their May menu which was 4 courses for $55. It was totally worth it. I had the halibut, it was the most amazing halibut I've had. It was juicy and crispy. My husband had the steak it was so flavorful and juicy just like a steak should be. For my other courses I pick crab ravigote, cauliflower soup and the mango panna cotta. Everything was just amazing. I totally recommend coming to Warehouse 72. We looked up this restaurant in Yelp as we were in the area and needed to grab a bite. We ordered salmon and pizza, with a couple of beers. I wanted so much to like this place, but the service was just awful. I sat at the bar and the bartender apparently was waiting on the entire restaurant. Literally he was doing everything while the manager was sitting a a table with what appeared to be some other restaurant men. I'm sitting there looking around for the bartender and waited and waited. If I was the manager of a restaurant I'd be also pitching in instead of running this guy ragged. It was 14 minutes from when I sat down til I was even acknowledged. If you're going to be located next to a movie theater you need to step up your game. Hire some people for Godsakes. The margherita pizza was subpar as the crust was super salty. read more

Steak and Eggs were cooked to perfection. The frozen drink of the day was so good. Highly recommend

Very disappointing... the manager today just tried to pass a glass of beer that was suppose to be on draft but it was actually bottles... if i had not asked he was not going to tell me. How can any restaurant operate with this type of dishonesty? It calls into question everything else... freshness, sanitary, etc. The food was not good... chicken soup was bland with hardly any chicken, the lasagna was hard... the only thing that was good was the bread. The manager was also not very customer based... picked up my glass without asking if i wanted more... plus, he came by and asked if i was doing good and i said it was fine.... how can anyone not follow up as to why just fine??? Very unapproachable and no reach for excellence... Needless to say, i wont be back. read more
