The branzino was fresh and cooked well, but the seasoning was a little too subtle for me, so it didn't stand out as much as the other dishes. I also wasn't a huge fan of the cabbage. We made a reservation on a Sunday evening, but it wasn't busy at all. Parking was easy and their lot is actually quite large. The decor is dark and intimate. The vibe is upscale and most patrons were dressed appropriately, however there was a table of patrons nearby who had on t-shirts and shorts. Maybe they didn't enforce the dress code that night because it was a slow evening. For my beverage, I ordered the Fleur-de-lis Martini. It was a grapefruit martini and it was good. It came with a small carafe on ice so that the glass could be topped off. My friend had a mocktail called Lyre's Pineapple Margarita which she enjoyed. 1st Course: Deviled Eggs - I love deviled eggs, but these fell short. The yolk was dry and bland. Ironically, the plate was garnished with paprika. The eggs could have used some of the paprika and some other seasonings to kick it up a notch. The yolk needed more mayo or cream because it was dry and crumbly. 2nd Course: Brasserie Chicken - I enjoyed this entree. It was panko crusted chicken with lemon caper sauce. The chicken was flavorful. I also enjoyed the mashed potatoes and broccoli that accompanied the dish. The portion was much larger than my friend's 5 oz. Filet Mignon. I had plenty for leftovers the following day. 3rd Course: Carrot Cake - It was served warm and was very delicious! The icing was sweet and the cake was moist. Service was great throughout the meal and the food runners brought out each course in a timely manner. With the exception of the deviled eggs, I thought the meal was pretty solid.

The deviled eggs make good comfort food and was satisfying. This version doesn't have much of a kick, but it's very creamy and you can definitely taste the truffle oil. The homemade potato chips also add to the texture and salt between bites. The shrimp dish was fun with a light and crispy batter, well-seasoned and drizzled with sweet chili sauce. The cool ranch surprisingly added to the shrimp and enhanced the chili sauce rather than overwhelming it. The made-in-house fries were far better than expected. I was somewhat expecting dense, oily, boring fries, but these were very crisp and somehow didn't feel too greasy as far as fries goes. Almost seemed like an injustice for it to be served with ketchup as it was too good for it. Lastly, the tart was a great way to end the meal without it being too much. Loved the crust. The tart shell tasted really good and went well with the filling, which had a lighter consistency than pudding. Fruits tasted like they were on season, even though it should be a bit too late for strawberries. I'm also a sucker for meringue. I'll have to come back to see if it wasn't a fluke, but there were a lot of dishes here that looked good. Maybe even swing by for happy hour, we'll see. Definitely a nice spot to visit in this neighborhood.

Waiter did confirm the seasoning is the same, but overall it did not hit the same. Just when I found the closest chicken and waffles to Breakfast Klub without the wait, the run is over after a couple of years. Not sure if it happened to be an off day, but the crowd was unusually small, was surprised because it's normally packed, with chairs waiting outside, but I got a table right away. Unfortunately I did not take an updated photo for obvious reasons, but attached is the original. I hope it changes back one day, kids loved this place.
