Steak and shrimp ravioli. Cooked exactly as requested.
    Nita S.

Within walking distance to The Westin Hotel @ The Galleria, we choose this place over Del Fresco's because we are in Fort Worth and wanted something we could not visit at home. On Easter Eve, we were worried we would have a hard time getting seated. The wait for a party of 3 would have been about 30 minutes, not bad for 7PM. We requested the bar top in order to avoid the short wait and were settled immediately. The bar staff, as individuals were pleasant and stayed busy the entire time we were seated. Unfortunately the service was not so great. We ordered our initial drinks but seemed to wait a little long to place our food order. Service never came back to ensure our food came out correctly or to check on our drinks. My husband had to physically wave down one of the bar staff in order to order an additional drink. The chicken fajitas, lobster spaghetti, and steak & shrimp raviolis were thankfully cooked to order and were good. The lady sitting next to us ordered the steak & shrimp ravioli as well and requested sauce from the server. She waited for about 5 minutes before asking for the sauce again from one of the bar staff. By the time her sauce arrived, her entire meal for cold. The atmosphere of the restaurant was cozy and has great patio type seating. The mixture of visitors were interesting. There were numerous groups eating at Joey's with what might be described as club attire. The lighting during our visit had a low setting that could create ambiance for dates and special occasions. As good as the food and the setting was, the low rating is a result of the lack of service we received after seeing the reviews posted here. I hope others have better experiences than we did. When these challenges were raised with the manager he was interested in hearing what improvements could be made and did not make excuses.

The blackened chicken never fails!! Great service, great ambiance and again the food is always good! I hadn't been to Joey in a while because I hate to fight the mall traffic but it was definitely worth the long awaited visit

Not my first Joey's experience so I knew what we were walking into. They do a great job with most of their dishes here. Almost a can't go wrong with what you order type of place. It's also still the only place I've been that serves you free bubbles when you check in. Which is such a killer idea. The ambiance makes for a good date night or could even be a work dinner event. I'm a huge fan of the spot. The butter cake here is also pretty solid. Cheers!

Came here with family and once again Joeys is consistent! If you want great service and fresh, flavorful, and filling food?! Go ahead and make that reservation. Also! This was on a Sunday afternoon and we only waited about 20 minutes without a reservation.

Even though Joey Uptown is a chain throughout the US, this Galleria location is always gonna be my favorite. I've celebrated special events and birthdays at this location, but this time around, I came in for a little happy hour with my mother. Right after checking in at the host's table, we were greeted with champagne. The wait for a table wasn't that long. My mom and I were able to order super quickly and we already knew what we wanted. We came for their espresso martinis and seared salmon sushi. Both of these two items are amazing here!! We also got the spicy crab dip. The spicy crab dip was meh but tasted so much better after we added some lemon and pickled ginger from the sushi on top. Side note: the cajun blackened chicken and butter cake are so bomb here. If I wanted a full-on meal, these two are non-negotiables along with the seared salmon sushi.

Went here the other day and once last September for small birthday reservations. The service this time was really disappointing and slow. Sat at the table for 20 minutes before getting even getting water!! And then we had to wait another 20 minutes to get our orders taken. We were sat right by the kitchen so all of the servers passed us sitting with menus on the table for 40 minutes before being helped. Was a bit frustrating. Despite the terrible service this time, the food here is surprisingly good--which I would hope for given the high price point. The chicken on the carbonara udon wasn't as flavorful as the first time we went here though so I'm worried about inconsistencies. The creme brulee cheesecake they gave is the best I've had, was sad when we finished it

Not new to Joey's, but it's definitely one of those spots I love coming back to every now and then. I came with a few friends, and we really enjoyed the ambiance along with some great cocktails. My girls love the blackened chicken, and I went with the farmers market salad, which hits every time. Aidan and another young lady took care of us, and the customer service was amazing. Aidan in particular was very kind, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. Definitely coming back.

This lovely modern upscale Canadian chain restaurant came highly recommended by our Dior salesman and I can't wait to see him again so I can thank him profusely. This chain also has restaurants in California like Newport Beach, Miami and all over Canada. Wow, from the minute we walked in we were welcomed on a busy Saturday night without a reservation. We were offered a glass of champagne while we waited for our table!! What? Wow and Thank you!!! I have never ever ever been offered a complimentary glass of champagne at a restaurant while I wait for my table. It made the very short wait worthwhile! Our waiter was sweet and we ordered the most amazing delicious potstickers! We continued drinking champagne which was a nice celebratory festive way to start our meal. I ordered the lobster pasta and steak and WOWOWOWOWOWOWOW, OMG the most delicious meal I have ever had in a long time. Mr. G also had some steak with some mashed potatoes that were hidden inside an egg roll wrapper? What?!! Wow, so delicious! The portions were plenty to we got the rest to go and I got the enjoy my delicious meal one more time! I can't WAIT TO GO BACK!! The only downer to my meal was a light from outdoor that reflected right on me, but next time I'll request a different table. Everyone was dressed to impress. Don't miss!

I really loved this place! They give you a free glass of bubbles as soon as you walk in! There was def a wait, but my sis and I were totally good sitting at the bar so we were seated right away. I just really wanted some food and the min short rib french dips and farmer's market salad really hit the spot. Everything came out super fast too. Plus drinks were really good too. My sis enjoyed the cocktail she ordered and I really loved the sparkling rose I got once I finished my free wine. Perfect place to stop by for a hunger fix in Houston - especially if you're fine sitting at the bar. The bartenders were nice and got us everything we needed.

This was a really tasty dinner! J and I stopped by for his birthday during happy hour with a reservation. The hosts greeted us with complimentary champagne which was a nice touch. We were soon led to our table - the restaurant is very spacious and includes a nice covered patio area. We were seated inside the restaurant at a table for two. Our server was kind and attentive throughout our meal. We decided on their regular menu as it sounded the most appetizing - we opted for the crab dip appetizer to share. J ordered the Joey classic steak and I got the steak frites. We also decided on the passion fruit and good life margaritas. Our drinks came first - we enjoyed the spice level and the presentation was really nice as well. They were quite well-balanced. The crab dip was good, but not quite the level we expected based on the price tag. It was creamy and the baguette slices were nice and crunchy. Now for our entrees - J really enjoyed his classic steak. I tried a bite and found it delicious as well. The potatoes were also cooked in a unique way and very tasty. My steak frites order was also tasty - the steak was heavily spiced which I didn't mind, though I think I prefer the Joey steak overall. The fries were lovely - perfectly crisp and the dips were also delicious. The side salad was nice as well. We enjoyed our meal here! This is an upscale restaurant that is more in the special occasion price range for us, but surely worth the visit.

this year for Galentine's Day, my girls and I wanted something that felt a little elevated, a little sexy, and definitely Instagram-worthy and JOEY Uptown delivered on all of that. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was everything. The lighting was soft and flattering (you know the kind that makes everybody look good without even trying) and the whole place had that upscale-but-still-fun energy. It felt like the kind of spot where you can dress up, sip pretty drinks, and just enjoy being outside with your girls. The service? Top tier. Our server was attentive without being overbearing, and everything came out at the perfect pace. they made us feel genuinely welcomed, not rushed, not ignored, just taken care of. Now let's talk about the food... because WOW. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can tell they actually care about quality. We shared a few plates so we could try a little bit of everything, and not one dish disappointed. It gave luxury dining without feeling too heavy or overly complicated. And the drinks? Baby... they did not miss. Every cocktail was crafted perfectly smoothly, strong (but not too strong), and just pretty enough to make you want to take a picture before that first sip. Definitely the kind of place where one drink turns into two...Overall, it was the perfect

Karla and the staff were fantastic. Can they bring a location to NYC please. The best comparison I can give it is Hillstone but more personality. They greet you upon arrival with a complimentary Procesco. World class service. I am not going to gatekeep - you must sit at the bar if you are going especially solo. Just incredible energy and perfect seating for people watching. When I tell you I was here 3 times for a 5 day work trip and it never disappointed with anything on the menu. The Chicken Parmigiana, the Joey Dirty Martini (it's massive) and the assorted sushi rolls were by far my favorite. My only regret was not going the other two days. Joey Uptown keep being great.

Table for one on a Friday late night and wow, this is definitely a popular place! Nice vehicles pulling up dropping people off all dressed up, dark inside with lights and a huge screen. I waited for a bit then got seated at the end of the bar--I was initially concerned but the staff was so friendly and joked around with me since it was my first time. Steak and shrimp and ravioli-- what the heck? This is my dream dish because it combines several dishes I normally would have to order separately into one delicious combo. The steak and shrimp were tender, and the ravioli was so flavorful! I really enjoyed this dish and it was a very ample portion. The dumplings were a very solid and reliable appetizer, the chili crisp had a great kick. The French dip bites were just right. I love how small and cute they are! If I was at a big table and someone ordered a huge plate of these I would probably lose myself just having one after another because they have such a great kick and flavor combo. Love! Another star of the show was the crispy rice bites--I have had this dish plenty in Japanese restaurants or hip places in LA but this was particularly well made, and the small rice puffs were a great addition to balance out the mouth feel. Highly recommend. Overall a wonderful experience and will definitely be checking out JOEY again in the future!

Ask the Community - JOEY Uptown

Is there handicapped parking (van accessible)? We don't valet because of our specially equipped van.)

They have valet parking that is very convenient.

    Does Joey Uptown validate parking?

    They don't validate

    What are the prices?

I would budget $80-100 pp with 1-2 drinks each

Do they take reservations for 15 people?

Yes, call ahead. I called a few days before our dinner to make a reservation for a large party.

Are you allowed to bring a cake to celebrate a birthday?

They discourage it, however if your party is larger than 6 they will, due to the mandatory 20% gratuity added for large parties.

What time is happy hour and what days?

Happy Hour is Monday through Friday from 4pm to 7pm

    Is there brunch?

    Yes.

What time does their kitchen close?

    11:30pm

Do you have a private room for groups? If so, for how many people? Thanks!

    Yes, they do

    Do they have valet parking?

Yes! It's a third party with the mall but it is an option.

Can you bring your own wine bottles? No one answers the phone btw - have been on hold for over 10 minutes

No. They have their own bar, it's a regular chained restaurant. It's not a byob.

I heard there was a table minimum on groups over 6 ppl. Is this accurate and what is the amount (per table or person)?

Hi, I recently called the establishment and they have informed me that there is a minimum for groups over 14 people -- which will entail a direct deposit and a minimum spending of $100/per person, which is insane!

What time do they stop serving food??? It's 9am and no one is answering the phone when I called the restaurant?…

They don't open until 11:30 am until midnight

    What's the dress code?

    Trendy and business casual

Do they have a weekend brunch menu?

    No they do not

How late they stop serving food?

They stop at Midnight. At least on a Thursday!

    Are kids welcomed?

It's not really a place for kids, but would say it's ok for a mature kid who could enjoy the food. Maybe you want to be seated in the air conditioned patio area where it's has bright sunlight and is a little more casual. That's where we sat and… Read more

The steak was tender and the dressing was light and spicy. I decided to get dessert and I chose the Toffee Pudding. It was AMAZING! The pudding was moist and not overly sweet to me. Between me and hubs, we had a Pan de campo, an order of Gulf Oysters "casino", (4) dressed oysters, a 16 oz dry aged ribeye, a snapper entree and a side of crab fried rice. We finished almost everything except a quarter of the Pan, about a quarter of the rice, and about a third of the ribeye. All were great dishes and would definitely order again. We skipped dessert because honestly none stood out to us. He said their popular dessert is the souffle but they were sold out. Our total before gratuity was about $250 and that included one cocktail. Hubs had their "classic" old fashioned which he said was excellent! Overall, highly recommended if you don't mind the splurge or for a special occasion!

I swear you get spoiled here by every person from the front where you place your order, to the waiter/waitress, to the server bringing out the drink and food, to the bus boy picking up. I highly suggest you eat here. The ambiance is busy with chit chat going around. I am sure there might be music in the back ground. If they had a little brunch live playing group. It would be full. The food is yummy.

This is the second time I've purchase the steak frites to-go at this establishment within a week, and they aren't serving what the menu states! Menu clearly says the cut of steak for the steak fries is ribeye, and this is absolutely NOT RIBEYE. The first time I ordered it last week, I let it slide because it was still tasty and this restaurant is in walking distance from my house so it's convenient...I just figured they ran out of the advertised cut of beef and made a one off substitution. Went in today and ordered the same dish and was served the same cut of beef, which is obviously a flank or skirt steak... definitely not what is being advertised! Called and spoke with the manager and she was apologetic and promptly gave me a refund. I'm only writing this review because it is a poor business practice to advertise one thing and serve something else. Either increase the pricing for what is advertised or change the menu to reflect what you're actually serving....It's just as simple as that! Transparency matters and this is very deceptive. Not sure if I will dine here again.

Wow this place really blew me away. It's a near perfect spot for a business lunch or dinner (or if…read moreyou're willing to splurge with your own money for a good meal or a hot date). I wasn't sure what to expect based on the name of the restaurant, but essentially their seafood options are spectacular. And it feels like an exclusive club because the decor and service are both very much high class and special. We tried the coconut shrimp as the appetizer and really liked it. It was lightly fried and the shrimp was cooked to perfection - not under and not over. I would highly recommend this one to start. Loved it. If you're looking for a fair-priced meal, they have lots of salad and sandwich options. I tried the salmon poke bowl and it was so delicious. The fish was extremely fresh, and all the flavors blended together really well. It was like a healthy party in my mouth. It was great decision. You wanna splurge a bit and live large like YOLO? You gotta get the crab cake. Now, how good can a crab cake be? Well, if you're paying close to $50 for one crab cake, you better believe it's gonna be freaking awesome. And alas, it was. Best crab cake I've ever had in my life, no joke. And I've tried a lot of crab cakes in my many decades of dining out. Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant and will be coming back many times. Enjoy! Quick note on parking - plenty of parking in a huge lot shared by many businesses such as Kenny and Ziggy's. Only annoying part is several sections of the lot are designated for specific businesses, so just look for the signs and be willing to park a little bit further away towards Taco Deli and Bluestone.

The entrance is beautiful and the staff was very welcoming and friendly. We had a reservation and were seated promptly, but I noticed the restaurant filling quickly around noon so you should definitely make a reservation. Our server was upbeat and knowledgeable and gave us his recommendations which I greatly appreciated. The coconut shrimp batter was tasty and crispy and the shrimp was perfectly fried. I ordered the crab cake based on my yelp research and the servers recommendation. The crab cake was the best one I've ever had. The amount of crab was generous and the seasoning was outstanding. The freshness and quality was very obvious and it was served with crispy fries that was an outstanding pairing. My diagnosis: gorgeous restaurant with outstanding seafood; the crab cake is a must order!

East coast oysters: 9/10 absolutely love them! The Prince Edward Island ones always have my heart! A little on the smaller side though Gulf coast oysters: 8/10 I'm usually not a gulf coast oyster person but I enjoy how hearty and fresh these ones were. And I also don't usually love the cocktail sauce but this one was rly good a little savory, spicy, and sweet and a healthy amount of lemon juice of course. Deviled eggs: 10/10 these were nice and creamy and had good crunchy texture with the bacon bits and pickles Steak nigiri: 8/10 I would have scored these lower if it weren't for the steak. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly but it the rice underneath just felt out of place and unnecessary and not too mention too plentiful. I would love a plate of just the steak and the compote or sauce that was on top. I will definitely be coming back and trying more items on the menu!

The food is healthy and they have great options for vegans and vegetarians. They do have meat and fish options for those that want that. Tonight my husband and I had the edamame dumplings, market salad with salmon and the Margherita pizza. The dumplings were good but just like warm. Pizza was great! They make it with sourdough and the pizza sauce is light. The salad was good as well but I wouldn't say anything was uber exceptional today. The service was also pretty good and I say that because our waiter was a nice guy. It apparently was busier than usual and he was having a difficult time keeping up. He was still attentive but he just seemed distracted. We asked for water twice before he brought them. It also would have been nice if he had brought out salt and pepper for salad. That's it. All in all pretty decent experience. Price point can be a bit on the higher end. So I would make sure to use your Inkind app to save some money. :)
