Over the past five days we've tried Willie Gs at the galleria , Landrys in Galveston and Willie gs in Galveston. They are all great but this location is my favorite! All by the same owner but all unique restaurants and experiences! Food: the Cajun pasta is special! Full of flavor and made to perfection! That's probably my favorite dish. The andouille sausage is so dam good! The fried alligator is Amani's. So are the mini cheeseburger sliders! sushi amazing! The short rib was phenomenal! Great food. Solid service. Valet What more can you ask for.

We come here all the time and the place is awesome. The servers and the management really care! We usually sit at the bar and love the oyster bar trash, the post oak roll, the spicy tuna roll, the crazy shrimp roll and the broiled seafood platter. They just added filet mignon egg rolls and they were amazing. I'm surprised their rating isn't higher. It's a nice upscale seafood experience that has something for everyone. Special shout out to Armando and Justin at the bar on Sundays.

The food was quite tasty. I came here with a group of folks from work and we all enjoyed. There's a lot of options--I had a little bit of indecisiveness going on, so I asked the waiter and he recommended the spicy tuna. It was a great suggestion and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! He was fairly attentive, especially as we came in late. I had my spicy margarita, which was quite tasty and a sushi roll. The table ordered calamari, crab & lobster rolls, and crab cakes. Note: The crab cakes photo much larger than they actually are, but they are yummy! The lobster roll was ok, a bit too much mayo to me. Calamari was fine. I left satisfied and I would for sure come here again! :)

Willie G's is an outstanding dining experience. Everything we ordered was perfectly prepared and full of flavor. The service was attentive and professional without feeling rushed, which made the experience more enjoyable. The dessert was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere had an upscale yet welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!

I entertained myself at Willie G's for a mid week after work happy hour. They have quite a few great options in their menu. I stayed with their $10 glass of Sauvignon Blanc. While $10 is definitely not a steal for happy hour especially for Mahu brand it's the going price nowadays so I'll take it. For the food we had the following. Snapper Bites: 10/10- the flavor was delicious. It's grilled which made it even better. The fish was cooked well. Nigiri Trio: 10/10- my guest stated the fish was very fresh and they enjoyed it Crispy Fish Sandwich- 10/10. The toast was yummy, the fish was fried well and it had a lot of flavor. Spicy Tuna Roll- 10/10. The price is good on this and my guest stated again the fish was fresh and it was flavorful Past Oak Rill- 10/10- the price for happy hour is good on this ($10). It was a very flavorful roll The service was good. He was attentive and patient. We got there around 4, and the actual bar was packed. So if you like to sit at the bar you may want to get there in the 3'oclock hour to get a seat. There were plenty of seating options in the bars dining area though.

I was referred by friends to try Willie G's. I booked a reservation here for my birthday. They were able to accommodate a party of eight people for 8:30pm. There is no self parking only valet and it was $8. Once inside the restaurant had a beautiful ambiance. The entry was bright and decorated elegantly. The dining rooms are darker and more intimate. I checked in with the hostess stand, but was not allowed to be seated until half my party arrived. My party size changed at the last minute to a smaller size and the hostess was able to accommodate me with no issues. When we made it to the table it was nicely set and sat us ladies comfortably. Our waiter was Deavyn. She was attentive, friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable of great suggestions on the menu. Some friends ordered sushi as an appetizer. The sushi looked amazing and they said, "It tasted good and fresh." Some friends ordered the crabs cakes and also thoroughly enjoyed their dish. One friend ordered the seafood pasta and love it. I ordered the Gulf Red Snapper, subbed the broccolini for the crab fried rice. I topped the red snapper with the oyster trash which I highly recommend. I also added a side of brussel sprouts. My meal was delicious, 10/10! The restaurant does provide a complimentary birthday dessert. I chose the butterscotch bread pudding and it was a 10/10!!!!! My friends enjoyed it as well. The service at this restaurant was above and beyond. One of the managers named Trey stopped by our table to check on us and sparked up conversation afterwards. He was very personable like Deavyn. This was a great experience for my birthday and I'm so glad I decided to celebrate at Willie G's. Overall with tip included I spent $102 dollars. I would highly recommend this restaurant for date night, girls night, anniversary/birthday dinners, or just looking for great food/service. I will be back soon to try their brunch menu and other desserts. (This restaurant is not kid friendly. There is no changing table in the men/women bathrooms. I didn't see a kids menu or high chairs.)

Willie G's feels like a Houston staple. Easy to get into and good food selection. I have had mixed levels of service but overall not bad. It's good for game day at the bar not the most romantic for a date, but I've enjoyed myself here with friends.

Came to Willie Gs for their happy hour with a few friends! We ordered almost every happy hour bite and had several drinks. The food was amazing, came very quickly, was cooked and seasoned very well and extremely flavorful, I don't know which bite was my favorite! The service was great, our server was very attentive and the entire staff was very kind. The ambiance was very warm and quiet, will definitely be back for dinner and future happy hours

willie g's is definitely a chill vibe. i would best describe willie g's as an upper échelon red lobster with a more diverse menu. the food is fresh and flavorful, the service was fun, friendly, and attentive.. there are no complaints, i would add willie g's to a short list of places that you can depend on going to for quality seafood and service. bonne appétit

Randy did an amazing job. Most definitely will be coming back and requesting him personally to be our waiter. Food is amazing, service is amazing. Cant wait to come back!

Hands down the top seafood spot around! We went for the family-style red snapper, generously stuffed and absolutely delicious. The Brussels sprouts and potatoes made for satisfying sides. The only miss for me was the gumbo, it was a bit too brothy for my taste.

I'm just going to start by saying the food is really good. We had a large group of friends and Family to celebrate a birthday. We were seated in a nice size room. The two servers we had (forgot both there names) were very nice and gave great suggestions. I got the King Crab fried rice and it is so delicious, very tasteful and has very few peas, I don't eat peas often so that was great. I also had the Lobster Bisque, when I first saw it I thought it was too juicy, not thick but when I tried it it was very good and thick enough, a ball of lobster was in the middle and very easy to spread it out in the bisque. I got the asparagus with bacon and egg. When they first brought it to the table the egg was sunny side up, I kindly asked if they can fry it and the kindly did. All of the group seem to have liked the food because I heard no complaints and everyone was happy and comfortable. When we left the entire restaurant was full of guest. Which let's you know this is a good dinner spot. I'll be back for the King Crab Fried Rice again.

Happy hour!
MaKayla G.

I've only been twice (brunch & Happy hour) but both times were very memorable! The service is phenomenal. From the valet, host, to the wait staff and management! The restaurant is ran as if everyone enjoys their job and that's nice to see. The restaurant is beautiful as well, indoor and outdoor seating! Oyster Rockefeller was the best I've ever had honestly. Enjoyed the drinks as well! Will be back!

I'm not even a steak person -- I usually order chicken -- but I actually ate a good amount and really enjoyed it. We ordered the sweet potato soufflé, mac & cheese, and corn. Everything was equally good. The sweet potato soufflé was smooth, creamy, buttery, and perfectly seasoned. The mac & cheese was rich with nicely toasted breadcrumbs, and the corn was solid. Only disappointment was the rolls. They weren't bad, just nothing special. Texas Roadhouse still has the best rolls . Service was top tier, and overall Steak 48 absolutely delivered. It rivals Little Alley Steak in ATL, which says a lot coming from me. Great birthday dinner.

From the moment we walked in, they were welcoming and friendly, the server patiently explained their highlights and recommendations. It's clear the restaurant is very intentional about their food choices. The manager even wrote a personalized birthday card for me and gave us a follow up call the next day to check in on our experience which was very kind of them. In regards to the food, it was delicious but we didn't find it exceptional enough to justify the high price point. The meal started off with complimentary bread service that you could choose with sea salt or garlic parmesan topping. The bread was so fluffy, warm, and comforting. We ordered the Braised Pork Belly, which was surprisingly tender and juicy, and the sauce complimented it very well. We ordered the regular size bone-in KC Strip to share. It was a huge portion and they give you extremely hot plates so that the steak stays warm and sizzly on your plate once you eat it. We were pretty impressed by how juicy and tender it was. The corn creme brulee and Boursin cheese whipped potatoes we had as sides were great complements to the dish. At the end of our meal, they treated us with a complimentary Cookies and Cream Popcorn Sundae which was super unique and really delicious. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant if you're willing to ball out and celebrate for a special night.

I also added some of their house-made habanero curry hot sauce, which is absolutely delicious. I'll definitely have to try a few other dishes next time! Located in Midtown this cute spot offers good music, fine food, and great ambiance. The mood is set with a soundtrack of classic hits playing in the background, and let's not forget about that bathroom, it's wild! I was greeted warmly from the second I stepped in the door! While I waited for my party to arrive I sat at their bar area and ordered a Pineapple Mule served with a smile. Right off the bat I connected with James , one of the waitstaff who also happened to be serving our table. He was so the BEST! Hands down the most awesome waitstaff I've ever met. He made our time there special. I felt like I've known him for years, and he knew just how to connect with each person in our group! We all fell in love with him instantly! Tonight (likely due to the Valentine's Day crowd) the meal was pre-set for every guest. This meal included bread, salad, and Collette steak in their special sauce, with fries. There were dessert options as well, from which I chose a key lime pie. And an assortment of after dinner coffees. What blew my mind was that they came around and offered more food to us after finishing our first entree plate! I wasn't expecting that, and was pleasantly surprised. Parking for this location sits right behind the restaurant, a parking garage that is free. Because of the number of shops and restaurants around (an especially since this was Valentines weekend) parking can be at a premium during certain points of the day, so think about that when coming. There is also street parking available too. Seating for Medium Rare is offered both inside and outside (patio). The price average for this place is moderate, and folks can dress up or down. It is a beautiful place for a girls night out, date night, celebrations, brunch, etc! I had a wonderful time here! An amazing experience for sure. P.S. they give you Bazooka gum at the end of your meal! That brought back good memories for sure! This was my first time coming, and it won't be my last. This place is definitely worth checking out!
