[[HIGHLIGHT]]I love this restaurant so much! It's an explosion of colorful, artistic bougie decor inside a hotel that is the same.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I stopped in for a business meeting over a caramel cappuccino and apricot dessert, which lasted about two minutes! Delicious? Why, yes, yes it was. If I was at home I would've scraped the plate;)
As part of the Post Oak Hotel at Uptown Park, Bloom & Bee has been a place I've been wanting to visit. It's located inside the hotel itself and would be best to set up in advance reservations for seating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself is pretty and to me I went during a Sunday brunch, so everyone was dress up in the cute and flowery outfits, that is its predominantly filled with the ladies with some families.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Its a pretty place and not all that big. You can choose to sit inside and outside. The outside seating is by the hotel pool, while the inside seating to me is a bit small[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]With that said, the place becomes a bit of an echo chamber and there gets loud, which was the demerit of the one star.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food and service was 5 stars. For the brunch menu and comes with a pre-selected choice of dishes, but to me more than a person can eat, but all very tasty. On this day I went with the egg's benedict was really tasty. While my friend chose the lobster omelet. That dish was really good and would recommend that to anyone. The bruch menu you get to choose one from the appetizer, main options and desert, while the lobster omelet is an additional $15. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Overall I enjoyed myself, but maybe next time I'll try sitting outside in the covered seating, though that depends on the humidity.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It gives a little bit more decor, but the food is excellent.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The prices are fair. The service is really good and there wasn't a long wait . Definitely recommend this place to somebody looking for a brunch spot in Humble area.

Im ashamed to say that Ive been wanting to come here for at least 15 years now. Nobody ever wanted to go with me. Since I no longer have a "valentine," I finally made my way for their "Galentines Brunch. Three courses for $70 plus 20% gratuity added. The restaurant is inside of the Post Oak Hotel next to Willie G's in the Uptown Park area. This is the same building Slim Thug hosted his ball at. Super cool to see it in its natural state. You have to valet park but the restaurant gives you a discount with their validation before you leave. Once I walked in the cool backdrop of flowers were right before you check in with the hostess. Then the buffet bar is to your left in front of the bar. The buffet bar had lots of fruits, patries, salads, cheeses, sliced meats and dips. It is self-serve. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The seating is so adorable as well as the ceiling decor and the plating. The table was so cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I took one of my besties with me. The total with gratuity included was $250 I dont feel I ate $70 work of food as I had one salad and some olives, some fruit and the chicken by itself. The chicken came with salad and a biscuit and eggs but I dont eat eggs and staying away from bread. Ive been eating meat fie the last couple of weeks and I need to revert back to vegan only. I wasnt happy with the options but I made the most of it. I wish there was an option to just pay for the buffet bar. The salad and fruit were really good. My friend had the steak but she got so full from the buffet table that she only ate 1/4 of her plate. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There was a big party sitting next to us celebrating something and one lady in the party was really loud! I would highly recommend visiting Bloom & Bee during the holidays! The Post Oak Hotel is decorated so beautifully and the restaurant has fun holiday drinks as well. I visited a couple weeks ago on a Sunday afternoon for brunch and loved it! For a set price, brunch comes with a huge spread of pastries, sushi, oysters, fruit, yogurts, salad, cheese plates etc and then an entree and desert. For my desert I ordered the steak and eggs. I did ask for my steak to be medium and it was definitely more in the well done side, but it was still decent. Desert was beautiful arrangement of macrons, chocolate mouse and cream puffs which were a cute touch to end brunch.

The Bloom and Bee at the Post Oak. After our Yelp coffee and conversation meetup at Bouchee, I wandered through the hotel and learned that they do a brunch until 4:00. I did not eat here, but I took these photos and it looks like it might be a pretty good option. Though, just to test their kitchen out I grabbed a slice of their bread (baguette) and it was not good. Like a Kroger "baguette". But everything else looks pretty good.

Located in the main lobby of Post Oak Hotel, from its name to the interior design, the target audience of Bloom & Bee is crystal clear: women in floral sundresses... I had to opt for valet as there were no parking available ($8 after restaurant validation). The $70/person brunch includes an appetizer bar featuring sushi, smoked salmon, mini oysters, salads, charcuterie board, pastries, etc. You also get a main entree and couple of big size desserts. While the buffet items were fresh, most didn't require much culinary finesse. Among the different entrees we tried, the French toast and prime rib were solid, and the chilaquiles were underwhelming. Service wasn't great. Once our champagne was poured, the staffs never returned to check on water, I had to flag someone down multiple times to finally get a refill. Overall, this is more of a do it for the gram spot in my opinion. Given the price point, there are plenty more restaurants focus more on better food than aesthetics.

Came here for Sunday Brunch that starts at 11am, and they have changed some things around. Their Brunch menu is different and the cost has increased to $70pp. We regularly try to here before 11:15am and normally are able to get seats at the bar. If you have more than 2 ppl and don't want to sit outside, make a reservation. The $70 covers unlimited access to the buffet, plus one entree from the menu and compliments dessert. We opt to take full advantage of the buffet and order the rest to-go. Buffet: Assorted salads w/ dressings, cheeses, cured meats, dried fruits, olives, fresh fruit, sushi, muffins, pastries, bagels w/ assorted cream cheeses, parfaits, soup, chips, queso, guacamole, pico, etc. Entrees: Lobster Benedict and Prime Rib Desserts: Mini Macaron,citrus tart& cupcake/pp Wouldn't order the Lobster dish anymore, it was not enough seafood to matter and meat was tough. The Prime Rib looked amazing, so I will be sure to try next time. Enter freely, this is the perfect spot for a tea themed brunch with the girls. Valet is only $8 w/brunch.
Bloom and Bee is the absolute cutest restaurant tucked into the corner of the Post Oak Hotel lobby. The aesthetic is beautiful and vibrant--perfect for a girls' day out or a special occasion. I went for a Galentine's date and we had a great time. It was pretty busy during lunch, so definitely make reservations ahead of time (we were glad we did!). Our waiter was super accommodating, friendly, and gave us helpful recommendations. I ended up ordering the bacon and Gruyère cheese flatbread. It was okay--filling and decent in flavor--but I do wish I had chosen something a bit more special for the occasion. My friend got the turkey club and seemed to really enjoy it. Prices are on the higher side, but that's expected given the location and the overall upscale vibe of the area. Overall, Bloom and Bee is a charming spot with a great atmosphere. Check them out if you're looking for a cute place to hang out with your girls and soak in the vibes!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Bloom & Bee offers an elevated breakfast experience with a beautiful atmosphere--perfect for brunch with the girls.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the steak and eggs along with the omelette, and both came with generous portions for the price. The steak could have been cooked a little better to make it more tender and flavorful, but everything else was enjoyable. Overall, we had a satisfying brunch and would happily return for the ambiance and to try more of the menu. read more
A few things to know; it's best to valet park because there's hardly any street parking or near the restaurant which is inside the hotel. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I expected it to be a much more floral vibe as the photos on the website but it's not. It's still very aesthetically pretty but not like the pictures.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can eat inside the restaurant or they also had tables outside by the beautiful pool; wish we would have chose ln that instead.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service--wonderful! From the valet, to the concierge and the staff at the restaurant, top notch! The food was delicious as well; we tried the frittata, the stack pancakes which they can add fruit to if you choose to and I had their omelette. [[HIGHLIGHT]]This restaurant is located in Post Oak hotel and was absolutely exquisite if I could give six or seven stars I absolutely would.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There is valet if you're visiting just to dine. Upon entry staff opens every single door and greets you. The brunch comes with a buffet that includes an assortment of breads, pastries, oysters, salads, fruit, parfaits, I mean it was a delicious spread I tried as much of it as I could. I ordered a pancake stack it was topped with pecans and fruit. The stack was very filling and the pancakes were fluffy. I also had breakfast potato's and turkey bacon. I always love when items like turkey and chicken are offered for those of us who do not eat pork. Desert we had an assortment tray and each item was different flavor the waitress asked if we wanted coffee to go with it and I got a flavored coffee. The dessert was so nice. Not too big because at this point I was stuffed but still a little sweet treat. It was my friends birthday they put a happy birthday sign on the table. We asked the staff to help us with pictures and they didn't mind at all. Super cute Sunday Brunch spot in the Post Oak Hotel. The buffet gave several options to enjoy. The set up was gorgeous. I adored the Mimosa Cart that was available. All the food was fresh & flavorful. The service was top tier & prompt. My only negative relates to the Valet service. Once I received my vehicle back, it was changed to Sport mode from Comfort that I normally keep it at for longer distance rides (we drove in town from SATX). That was unnecessary and I would advice them moving forward to just park the vehicle as they are paid to do & not joy ride in a vehicle you don't own. read more
Good restaurant at the Post Oak Hotel, where I was staying. Stopped by this morning to break bread with a colleague. She was already there and had just placed her order (Belgian waffles, OJ and coffee) when I arrived. I perused the extensive breakfast menu and ordered a salmon and bagel platter ($23) and on a hunch, asked if they could make me a large matcha latte. "We can, but it will need to be in a disposable cup as we don't have the right mug." "No worries, thank you." Our food arrived in about 15 minutes - my salmon and bagel platter was impressive, the matcha latte less so (clearly it's not something they make often). Nevertheless, I was grateful they tried. The salmon was fresh, and the cream cheese and other ingredients high quality. It required a bit of concentration to assemble my own bagel and lox sandwich while carrying on a work discussion, but I managed! The service and ambience were both good. Our seats were comfortable and the noise levels low enough to have a normal business conversation. Overall a very satisfying meal to start the day. Will happily return. read more
Brought my daughter to the Bloom & Bey brunch to kick off Beyoncés weekend, iykyk. Our reservation was at 1pm and the restaurant was packed we had to wait about 20 min to be seated. The buffet had so many options and everything was delicious! There was sushi, pastries, salad, fruits, nachos. For my entree I ordered the crab cake crossaint benedict and would not order that again. The dessert box was delicious and my specialty cocktail Texas Buckin was good. I'm not sure if the DJ comes every Sunday but he was definitely the highlight. Beautiful chandelier on the ceiling. Floral and pink decor. Ambiance was beautiful. It has a view of the hotel pool. Food was great. Went for girls brunch. Their brunch buffet has many great options. We were full before ordering the entrees. Loved the presentation of the dessert box. Service was a bit slow. Had to flag down the waiters a few times. read more
This place is more show than substance. Interior is stunning and service is impeccable. But none of the food I had was very memorable although nothing was bad either. Hands down the cutest brunch place in Houston. They have a lot of options in their buffet including salad, sushi, charcuterie, fruit, and pastries. Then, you get to order a main course as well which is covered under the cost of $70 per person which includes gratuity. I had the eggs Benedict which was delicious and my sister had the French toast. However, the service was extremely slow. When I pay $140 for brunch for 2 people I do expect to be offered drinks (waters) within the first 15 minutes of sitting down. We had to flag someone down to even get our drinks ordered and then waited quite a while before they brought them out. If you're charging a gratuity of I believe 20% then your service needs to align with the cost. Now I will say they gave my sister a complimentary birthday cake which was definitely a nice surprise. Overall, I would come back here, but hope the service is better next time. read more

The hotel it's located in is stunning! The restaurant was also very cute! I love the aesthetic inside! We sat outside by the pool! Our server was very attentive ! We had came for brunch but we got there just barely too late so we had to order off the regular menu it was still good! I got a sandwich that had prosciutto, arugula, burrata , and pesto it was delish! My coworkers got the turkey club it looked fresh! I got the fries as my side they were okay nothing to write home about! Overall would come back for the vibes but the food was quite over priced for what it was! Food: 6/10 I would have rated a 10/10 if I would have received the salad I requested to come out first but I never got it. The waiter wrote down everything we ordered yet I had no salad. Service: 1/10 The customer service is where things went completely left. We made reservations and were provided only the lunch menus when they were serving both breakfast and lunch. So we had to request the breakfast menus after we overheard another table getting the breakfast menus. Secondly, no one even greeted us or took our order for 15 mins while people that were sat after us were greeted within the first 5 minutes. Our waiter also never came back to check on us after he provided us our food. Ambiance: 8/10 decor is beautiful and the pink chairs give it a flair but I will not be returning. read more

Such a gorgeous aesthetic! The staff is also sooo great. They make you feel very well taken care of! Valet is out front for only $7 if you are dining in or staying at the hotel. Was totally worth it for me! We came for brunch on a Sunday and recommend a reservation. We had one and it made it so smooth! They have a huge buffet brunch option, but we just ordered a meal from the menu. There's so many yummy options. I went with the coffee and French toast and wowwww it was so tasty! From first glance this place exudes luxury and upscale. I was in town for a friend's birthday and she reserved a table for this restaurant. Please note, this restaurant is inside of a hotel and the Uber/Lyft will be aware of this. Once we sat down, we were greeted by a gentleman who took our drink orders. I got a Pinot Grigio white wine and opted for turkey sandwich with a salad as my entree. The menu items ranged from steak and fries, to salmon, to different pasta dishes. The ambiance itself was a true Kodak moment. Even the music choice was instrumental and soft music. It gave a nice, posh, and classy vibe for lunch. Everything we had at Bloom & Bee was delicious and we had quite a range. We ordered: - Bloom Lobster Roll. Nice crunch in the middle and refreshing. - Grilled Octopus. Best I have ever had. Smoky, salty and chewy. I loved it. - Honey Chicken Salad with shoestring fries. I mean it's a classic and the chicken salad was creamy, tasty and full of chicken bites. Got my protein's worth. - Oysters. Loved the micro greens added. Gave it a earthy taste. - The Hive dessert. Beautiful display but a little underwhelming. - Crème Brûlée. Loved the extra sweets on top. The only reason that this was not 5 stars was due to the service and lack of clarification about their brunch. We intended to come for their brunch menu and nowhere, not on the menu, online when booking or on social media did it say that it was only available on Sundays. We found out the day of. We also waited 10 minutes to get seated as the host was on the phone, eventually he looked up and gave us an apologetic stare but it was still inconvenient that we still had to wait and be stared at by other employees who were just standing there by the champagne. Weird. I get the feeling that Bloom & Bee doesn't prioritize superior service or the customer experience but more so the elegance of food and fine dining. read more

Tucked inside the post oak hotel, this restaurant is very gorgeous. Parking is a little difficult to find around this area as it is in the galleria but valet is an option for $8 (think we got a discount from dining in as our waitress stamped our valet tickets right before we left). Several of my cousins and I took our moms here for a Mother's Day brunch celebration and we were put in a separate room in the back of which we appreciated since there were 12 of us so we didn't have to worry about being too loud. The food here is excellent - I got the triple egg omelet which came with the crispiest and best seasoned potato wedges I have ever had. The omelet itself could have used a little bit more salt and pepper as it was slightly bland but it was still fluffy and delicious. The bread (more like pastries/croissants) came with mini jars of jam and mini bottles of Tabasco sauce which was so cute. I do think it's a little strange that the restaurant is right next to the pool so you are just watching everyone swim and lounge around at the pool as you eat which takes away a little from the fanciness of the restaurant. But the service was great, staff were very attentive and patient with us, and the food overall was scrumptious so I would definitely recommend coming for an upscale brunch. Might need to come back one day to try their dinner menu. :) read more
