Buyer Beware, Walmart has wrong prices on food and electronics. When you check out prices may be higher. Have you noticed your Walmart bill increased. Also customer service is terrible at Gilbert store, they don't know what is going on and make policy up on the fly. Example purchase made and decided it wrong, went to customer service and told must wait 24 hours before returning. Walmart has no such policy on receipt, it clearly state you have 30 days to return. On 1/12/24 while in waiting line there was handicap man in scooter in front of me trying to return Kitchen mix master. He was dealing with male store manager who was very rude and condescending to this senior citizen. The man was refused return and given no choices, that manager needs to be let go, Sam Walton would have fired him on the spot. We need to reconsider Walmart, if you check Fry's sales and coupons and Aldi's you can save same or more. This store has a good location right next to the 202. There are also plenty of restaurants and other stores just nearby if you need to make a few trips. The store itself was overall in a good condition. There were plenty of items in stock and as much variety as you would expect from a Walmart. I just came to get a few items for home and work and they had it all at the good ol Walmart low prices. I tried to make a clothing return here after I confirmed two other Walmart's were accepting clothing returns. I was told they would not take returns until the 14th. I asked to speak to the manager Jason Allred. He was call numerous times and never came to customer service. I started to walk out and noticed the assistant manager. She told me the manager was on a conference call. Why didn't the assistant manager respond to the call for the manager when he couldn't. Why did I have to run into her on my way out. Why didn't the customer service person know the manager could not talk to a customer. Why are two other Walmart's accepting clothing returns (superstition springs and greenfield/60) am this store is not. No consistency. I placed an order to be delivered at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with a delivery time of between 8-9pm. When I still hadn't received my order or heard anything by 9:45 PM I called the store. The kid I spoke to said my delivery was just returned to the store by the driver and it was too late to re-deliver it. I live 5 minutes from the store and ordered 5 items. Purchased a pair of boxers on clearance at Power Rd. location and there was no tag. Cashier grabbed another pair with a tag to scan so I could purchase. Got home and noticed the size didn't match the hanger, so I tried to return at the Market St. location. The dolt at the counter had to get her very UNPLEASANT "manager" to see if she could help her and she just said "You'll have to go back to that store because it came out of their inventory." This review is for the pharmacy-- I greatly appreciate the pharmacy working with me and my doctor to fill a prescription. Another chain pharmacy had denied filling my prescription (likely due to my age) but the official reason was "because you picked up a similar prescription from a different doctor two weeks ago". Believe it or not, Wal-Mart actually looked into it unlike the other place and saw that not only was it an entirely different dose of the medicine, the other doctor was in a different (small) city. It's almost like I came to a large city to see a specialist (who changed my dose)... imagine that. I'm sure Wal-Mart saw the new doctor was a specialist just by googling his name. I'm not sure if they called him or not, but if they did, I'm sure he informed them of our agreement for me to go back to my doctors office and despose of my prior prescription. So thank you to the Wal-Mart pharmacist for not just seeing a young person and assuming the worst. Thank you for looking into it and filling my new prescription so that I could be on what my doctor ordered. The other pharmacy change with the big red logo that starts with a W should be ashamed of themselves. However, Walmart just gained a new customer. A new customer whose insurance only covers brand name prescriptions. So I'm sure they will definitely benefit off of this. read more

Curbside pickup service used to be convenient when it first started. It has gone downhill to the point that it's not worth it. Even if you mark an item as being ok to substitute (if they are out of stock), the employee makes very little attempt to actually substitute an item. This makes it so that several items that are the reason that you go to the grocery store in the first place are left out of your order. read more

I ordered a purple Eclipse Bunk bed for my daughters 8th Birthday 9/28/16 the first nightmare of a box arrived looking as if it had been dragged through the dirt opened and then closed cheap packing tape. There were holes in the box where we could see that there were scratches and bent products inside. I wish I could post the pictures on here! That was delivered on 10/27 when it had been promised 10/9. I called Walmart they waved the shipping and promised the product at the latest 11/9. The product that arrived came with a more professional driver who was helpful but I had to send the product back due to the large hole driven through the bent metal of the bunk bed we could see through the box! Again I had to call Walmart at first they offered a ridiculous discount of 10%. A whopping 18.00 for a bed my daughter had been waiting for since her birthday. To top it all off I still have the discussing hole ridden 1st poor excuse for a bed sitting in my living room because Walmart has yet to send some one to pick it up.Irish who I spoke with after the second nightmare of a bed arrived was kind but had only the power to give a ridiculous 15% discount. She said I could speak with her supervisor but there was no one else to help me. Now I get to tell my 8 year old she has to sleep on a mattress on the floor again until I can order her bed from a company that cares about taking care of its customers. Bought a bike and asked at customer service if they had any twine that we could tie the trunk down with (note: this was after asking 3 others who 'didn't know' then waiting 10 minutes at customer service). I was told it's a liability issue for them to give me twine. Of course, I can buy it and it's not a liability. Seriously!?! Every Christmas tree store, furniture stores etc will give you twine and help you tie it down. If you're buying from Walmart you have to buy it, take it to your car, load the item yourself (in 109 heat), then tie it down. We had already reduced our Walmart shopping drastically in the last few months. Because this store and their service is so trashy and awful, you've successfully ensured you've lost our business. WORST PICKUP SERVICE EVER!!! I went to Walmart's online ordering services for store pickup. I ordered eight items and only received 7. After notifying the clerk, he said he would find the item that was missing from the order, I waited for 20 minutes and was told that it was out of stock and I'll get a refund in 3-days. I told him I wanted a receipt because the order showed I picked up everything, he said it wasn't possible. I told the clerk, I'm not leaving the store until I have proof that the correction on my receipt is made. I then told the clerk we need to go to customer service to get this resolved which took another 10 minutes to wait in line... ridiculous. Finally at customer service they credited the item that was missing back to my credit card. I spent 45 minutes total.... what a JOKE. My husband I shopped today at 7:00 a.m. when the store was open to senior citizens only. When we entered, we were offered a cart that had just been thoroughly wiped with Lysol/Clorox wipes. That employee and every other one we encountered were smiling and friendly. We found most of what we were hoping to buy and will return next week if the situation remains the same. I would have to say this is one of the better Wal-Marts that I've gone to. Maybe it's reflective of the area the Wal-Mart is in? I had to pick up something from the Site to Store at this Wal-Mart. I messed up and actually had my 3 orders sent to 2 stores instead of one. What a pain. I thought it was just the Chandler store, but I also experienced a lot wait time here at the Site to Store. I used their non-working notification system. This store's system went one step further. When I would press it, it would stay activated for a bit and go back to the original screen to tell you to notify someone you need help. Great, right? This time I was wiser, I did go to an associate to ask for her help. She called, no one came. Did this twice over a period of 10 minutes. I finally got someone. This associate was much nicer. Same thing, my tiny items were packed in HUGE boxes. What a complete waste of space and money. Invest in a better working notification system, Wal-Mart. read more

Did an online pick up order was promised in 2 hours on my phone. I LITERALLY PLACED THE ORDER WHILE IN THE STORE BECAUSE THE SAME ITEM ONLINE WAS CHEAPER AND THEY WOULDN'T PRICE MATCH. So I had to order online and pick up in-store. Anyways. My order was not ready that night. It wasn't ready till the next day around 10am. This pharmacy has the worst customer service ever! I walk up and the girl literally looks tame and doesn't speak for 5 minutes. The man painting behind her spoke when I said HELLO. He was more friendly than the staff. She asked if I was dropping off and I was at the DROP OFF window, so yes! Not once did she even break a smile.
