I came here to find a few Fry's exclusive items and to get some watermelon for a get together today. This Fry's Marketplace is absolutely amazing. You walk in through the right door and you're met with an experience that was less grocery store feeling and more of a clothing/home goods store experience. While I couldn't find a couple of exclusive items I came in for, I did leave with the watermelon I was needing. The store was very well maintained and felt like a more elevated experience than regular Fry's stores in my area. The employees were also helpful and friendly as well which made the experience extra special. read more

This Fry's Marketplace is one of the nicer grocery stores in the area. It's massive, the aisles are wide, everything is clean, and there's a huge selection no matter what you're shopping for. I stopped in to grab some sparklers for a Fourth of July barbecue, and the employee who came over to check my ID was friendly and joked around enough to make me feel like I wasn't 40 years old, which gave me a laugh. One thing I really like about this location is that it feels like the opposite of Walmart. The focus is definitely on groceries, but they still have a great selection of other items. They had outdoor patio furniture, clothing, games, tons of candy and drinks, and plenty of home goods without taking away from the grocery selection. Overall, this is a great Fry's. It's clean, well organized, has just about everything you could need, and is an easy place to end up buying a few more things than you planned. I'd definitely come back. read more

Sheesh, usually I am such a fan of Fry's. I was so excited to go pick up a ballon and floral arrangement for our dinner table on Easter. I started looking at their selection and trying to decide on something. Their Floral Manager came out with more. I just asked her a few questions and was looking around. She was so grumpy and did not want to be interrupted and asked if I would please just wait a few more moments. I simply mentioned I was browsing and just going to grab one so she didn't have to put it out. This was all in the common shopping area too. I really felt like leaving empty handed but then remembered what I came for. Luckily, I found a floral arrangement that caught my eye, grabbed a ballon and headed to check out. Checkout was a breeze. Kids were very happy with the flowers and balloon. Just wished it would have been a more pleasant experience. read more

This location is quickly becoming a huge disappointment. Such a decline in customer service and having items marked incorrectly - then you have the pleasure of going to customer service counter - which is anything but - and get to spend another 20 minutes correcting their errors - so glad the new Safeway opened up - it's a bit out of the way, but a completely different experience. read more

Horrible customer service , asked questions in meat dept about steaks that were on sale they wouldn't help me. Went to customer service desk asked questions and was treated very rudely. I don't get it if you work at or in service industry why can't you be civil and helpful? If you can't answer questions maybe direct a person to someone who can help. read more

Excellent pharmacy. The Pharmacist Jasmine is so helpful and friendly. She genuinely cares. She recently approved a short term dosage of a prescription while the renewal was messed up. She saw to our continuity of care. A true professional. read more

I go out of my way to go to this Fry's as it's huge and has a large selection. The selection of items is definitely much better than other Fry's and I can spend a long time in this store just going from aisle to aisle perusing. They have a huge section of cheese and meats which I love. They also have a ton of kitchen stuff, everything you can think of. I stumbled upon their own brand of Sriracha at this store and it's actually much better than the real Sriracha. How cool is that? Highly recommend this location. read more

Honestly, it wasn't an amazing experience at the pharmacy but I'll own part of it. We had picked up 5/6 prescriptions for my mom who has stage 4 cancer. I didn't realize I was missing the 6th medication until we got home and I was giving her meds. This left me with little to no time to get to the pharmacy before it closed. I hurried back and with only 5 minutes to spare, I was able to speak with the pharmacy tech- Jaeden. He's the absolute best and most caring employee this pharmacy has. The female pharmacist on the other hand, Rana, leaves you with a long lasting impression of "I hate my job, and no I won't go out of my way". She was outwardly pissed off that I was there so late even stating "well you should have called earlier if you knew you needed this medication. The safe is locked and it takes 20-30 minutes to open". I had been on a plane to get back to my mom alllllllllll day, literally 9 hours of travel with a 10 month old. Just to get to the airport and head directly to the hospital to pick her up then rush to the pharmacy to pick up medications. I was so aggravated with her nasty attitude. I understand fully the request I was making so close to closing but it wouldn't have been an issue had they just filled the order to begin with OR had it been mentioned that it wasn't covered by insurance when we picked up the first order. I'm only giving this experience 5 stars because Jaeden really helped out and diffused a situation that otherwise would have been confrontational. It's not easy caring for a parent/loved one that's in pain and dying, then to be chastised over trying to pick up medications to help really blows my mind. If you aren't into patient care or you have no empathy, maybe you're in the wrong field. read more

Pharmacy is definitely LACKING!! Recently move to area. Several prescriptions sent over over a course of a month. Never have items (different ones) in stock and I have to wait for days. They shut down in middle of the day. Sadly, I will find another place. If you do not have extra days when sick or in pain for prescriptions to be in stock, find another place. Working with customer service at store confirmed the feeling of apathy and "oh well" attitude. read more

We purchased a large amount of food at this location this evening. NO CASHIERs were at the checkout lanes. ONLY the stupid self checkout. THE employees stood around and watched my spouse do the self checkout. If this is the way FRYS wants to do business, they just lost another customer. They could have help and decided not to do so. Moving business to another food vendor. read more

I've lived in Gilbert down the street from this fry's for just over 2 yrs and i decided to use this fry's today 8/17/2025 after not using it for the last year and it reminded me why i don't use this location. I quit using this location prior because i like to use the online pick up order because i work a lot and have to get food for 4 kids and it takes them all day to fill a small order. Today I placed a order at 8:30 am and online it said it was ready to pick up at 12:30 got there and again wasn't ready and it wasn't ready till 2am they continue to say there short staffed but I'm starting to think that's not the case cause my 16 yr old son applied for a part time job maybe stocking shelf's or filling these orders and was turned down this location is terrible and I will continue to drive to the one on Alma school and germann street that one is great thank you read more

This one is always clean. It is well stocked. Using virtual coupons is a must for the best sales. Also they have enough electric carts that if you're handicapped you can shop. I appreciate that so much because of spinal issues. I have never been unable to get one at this location. read more

I've been coming here for quite a while now, and while I like fry's, I like the VIP thing, the discounts, etc, I gotta say this store in particular has a problem with cleanliness and freshness. Just picked up my ClickList order and got moldy strawberries. Why would anyone select this and think that it would be ok? Like no one would notice the mold! So disgusting! Then AGAIN, I will waste my time speaking with a manager on the phone just so they can ask me if I would like to go back up to another one...with the gas prices it's not even worth it!!! This is not the first time this has happened, but it's happened so many times that now I feel like I need to leave a review. This is unacceptable! And if none of the strawberries looked good THEN JUST DON'T ADD IT TO THE CLICKLIST ORDER!!! I'd rather have no strawberries than this crap that was picked for me. read more

This is one of my favorite markets in the Chandler/Gilbert area. Do you have the best selection of kitchen gadgets you can imagine from cooking twine to garlic peeler's to the best silicone cooking utensils, and peeler's it's just the best. The selection in the price range is are amazing for your low budget cook to your high end chef. They have a pretty decent meat counter or that you can select the exact cuts of meat that you want and they also have an amazing cheese section... I could go on and on ... you need to check it out for yourself I don't think you will be disappointed read more

As soon as you walk in the doors there is a very strong cat litter/feces smell. The store itself is getting very run down and often has expired food left on the shelves to purchase. I called the floral department on Monday and asked if I could order a small bouquet for a dance on Saturday. Without asking any questions, the response was, "Ummm, sorry. Ran to Fry's on a Friday night around 9:15pm to pick up some things and left the store at about 9:50pm. Fry's has been doing a great job during the pandemic. It is very easy to order online and ahead with them, and you're able to change, remove, or add things to your order up until 24 hours in advance. The pick up process is very easy as you just call when you get there and let them know which stall you're in. From there, the employees bring all of your groceries and put them in your trunk for you. Not only that, but I've seen them get more and more efficient over the last couple of months in doing these pick up orders. I will definitely continue to shop here. read more

Their "digital coupons" are incredibly complicated to use and the one I tried didn't work. Staff at checkout wasn't helpful.

Why are their "personal vibrators" displayed in front of the house pharmacy? I was forced to have a conversation with my 8 year old way earlier than I should've had too. Thanks for nothing. I will go to Bashas for now on. read more

This place is located right around where I live and I comfortably been a regular to this place. I visit almost every week be it for their fresh produce, bakery, grocery or just to get some coffee off of Starbucks. Frys is pretty well organized and the stock is always up to date. I am not much of a fresh produce fan coz of the continuous mist they run. Otherwise this place is pretty good for seasonal fruits. If you have the coupons and signed up for a Frys card. You save quite a bit. Overall I like this place, I haven't got a chance to try their meat but I like how they have a bar near the drinks area. It's pretty cool to hang out and get couple of glasses before you head home. I like the whole concept of it. It's a good place and i would continue to go here like always. read more

This store is massive!!! And absolutely amazing! I'm glad to be living a couple of minutes from it. It's really hard to shop anywhere else other than this location. Butcher/seafood counter is always stacked with the freshest with helpful and friendly staff. You don't need to drive anywhere else to find what you're looking for really.. except on Sunday's when the store gets crazy busy and it's patrons act like Armageddon is near! Lol. Their wine selection is lacking but they have great craft beer on tap. The sushi is always fresh, wings and other ready to eat food is great option when you're too tired to cook. read more

Filthy?!?! I don't live in this area, but have a Fry's Marketplace right next to my house which I love, so I thought why not stop here? I don't know how old this store is, but it was shockingly filthy! Not disorganized and well stocked, but gross dirty. Bathrooms were filthy and so were the floors, walls, rugs and so on. I was extremely confused by it since it's a really nice store... if this is what is in public view, I can only imagine what you can't see. read more

I have been a customer of this store since it opened. Large store with a great selection. Since the beginning of 2023, they have had employment issues. The store is constantly dirty, shelves are not stocked for weeks, employees opening complaint about management, and today there was a line of over 15 people waiting to check out at 7:30am because all the cashiers called out sick. They only had three self check outs open. I would highly recommend going to another grocery store as it is evident that this store is poorly managed and no one seems to care. I would have to say that this is the cleanest and largest Fry's locations that I have been to. The selection of items is a step above some of the other locations and its surprisingly clean. In addition to groceries there is a pharmacy and various household items from clothing to auto parts. The ingress and egress layout can be confusing and I found the self-checkout machines to be a bit clunky in their operations. read more

This is a relatively new Fry's and I must say that it is a very nice store. First of all, it is huge! Second of all, you can pretty much find anything and everything that you need at this location. The shelves are always stocked and the prices are well documented. The employees working here are friendly and helpful when you need them. The store is kept clean and the aisles are nice and wide so you don't have to feel awkward when needing to go around someone that is looking at every spice known to man three times over! This frys smells awfuk the minute you walk in, 50% of their carts dont work, the other 50% are in the parking lot, their chicken is yellow most of the time, and its just gone down the tubes. Good lord, invest in your store frys. Yes they are cheaper but personally i only go there now for some non-meat needs. Look at their food vs bashas or albertsons/safeway. Its night and day. I honestly can say the MARKET PLACE(s) is more than just a grocery store & not many competitors can beat or compare to this concept! The prices are good - almost comparable to the big discounters. The selection is amazing in virtually every department. Including a clothing department & shoe department. I often go to Sprouts for my produce, but really like the quality and selection of produce here, as well. We live in Gilbert, this wouldn't be my closest location- yet I tend to be drawn here for ALL they have to offer. Still pleased that I live close enough to this Fry's Market Place and it's a " One Stop" shop! The freshest bakery items and newly innovative creative frozen ready meals are quick, simple and easy. Beautiful displayed seafood & meat department makes it an easy choice to pick up something pleasing & prepared . Love when they offer samples too! I actually enjoy going here - for the many options and wide variety and the gas discount program is a nice perk. And, the fact you go to a market and have a glass of wine at the wine bar & hubby can have a beer. Plus grab a yummy meal at the deli or select a unique cheese from their amazing case & snag a box of crackers to wash it all down paired with the wine! LOL read more

Seriously!!! This is a grocery store?! My wife and I went by to take care of our weekly shopping. First thing you need to know is that I DO NOT ENJOY GROCERY SHOPPING. My wife always asks me when she should go and I conveniently tell her to go most of the time when I am working. Not the case last night. We didn't have a lot to get, we usually are more of a maintain mode when we go shopping. Just had to replace a few things here and there. Nothing major, we don't have to stay all day like some people do. So we went in with our hit list and we were going to stick to it. Strongly advise having a plan when you go into a grocery store! Ok, we entered in the Fruits and Veggies area, seemed plain enough until I rounded the corner and saw what I can only describe as a wine tasting area, maybe beer too. That's the moment I realized I was going to be in for a good trip. You know those annoying things that parents have on their kids like a leash backpack or something along those lines?! My wife wishes she would have had one of those for me last night. I would be walking with the cart and she would go to get something and then SQUIRREL, I was off to the races. By the end of the evening, I was having a great time and she wasn't. I found all kinds of ways to enjoy myself in the Fry's store. It was the most enjoyable trip I have ever had. Now I am convinced that my wife has been bamboozling me for years about how much she doesn't like going grocery shopping. Has it always been this fun and she wanted to do it alone. Man!!!! She's sneaky! read more

This place is HUGE! Everything seems to be double the size from my normal Fry's store. I've been here a couple times and I like that I am greeted as soon as I enter which gives a nice welcoming feel. The rudest pharmacy tech around. You would think they would be a little bit more friendly especially to a new customer. Will NEVER use this pharmacy again. Not my favorite Fry's even though it is near my home. They close earlier now and I like to go in later in the evening. Last time I was in there with 30 minutes left before they closed, they had someone on the PA telling everyone that the registers would be shut off at closing time. I cannot say enough good things about the grocery pick-up at this Fry's location on Gilbert and Ocotillo. James works SO many hours, is extremely customer friendly and continues to run on a broken store system. I love my neighborhood Fry's and we have been here since day one. The only thing that I am really disappointed about is the fact that at every other grocery store there is someone to sanitize in between customers at the self-checkout. There were multiple stocking carts out in between aisles around 10:30 pm & one of them had disinfecting spray & wipes. At the checkout I asked if I could get one of the wipes because I did not want to be rude and just open the shrink wrapped cart myself. I was told by a night manager that I could only have 1 of the item as she motioned to the disinfecting spray in my cart, not wipes. When I told her it was a different item she said the store could not sell items that weren't stocked on shelves yet. I told the manager that 2 women asked me where I got the spray from & I told them it was the only one in the shelf but there was a stock cart with wipes & spray right by the aisle. The manager told me again that nobody would be able to purchase the items because they were not on a shelf. As I was loading my car with groceries I saw the same 2 women & another person, leave the store with the same disinfecting wipes I was just told could not be sold! So I went back inside to purchase the wipes. They were on the same stocking cart, but opened this time. As I was walking away with 1 of the canisters, a young man stopped me & said "ma'am I cannot sell that to you. You can come back in the morning when we open" so I handed it back to him & told him that I just saw 2 women leave the store with the same item. He responded with "yes & I just got in trouble for it." If you're going to tell one customer that they cannot be sold an item then you should stick to it for everyone else. Especially during a pandemic when certain cleaning supplies cannot be found at other stores! Other stores aren't as pleasant a shopping experience as this Fry's location but they haven't told me I couldn't buy something off a stocking cart & then sold it to another person right in front of me! read more
