This is a good costco to go to just like many other warehouses. It is big and has a ton of products to choose from and a decently big gas station. It also has good customer service as expected at Costco. And has most of the same products that every location has. Also has a decent sized parking lot so hopefully there should be enough spaces for if you're shopping and need somewhere to sit. The criticism I have is that it is a pain to drive through as well as find a space because of the design. It's especially frustrating on days when it's super hot or over 100 degrees and need to find a closer spot so you can get inside to buy what you need. Also the gas station tends to be slow and packed but that's like every Costco. read more

Popped in for a few items and, as usual for this location, parking was a bit of a challenge--though I lucked out with a spot relatively close to the entrance. The store was moderately busy, but I appreciated that the current sale items were prominently displayed right up front. Unfortunately, my experience took a hit on the way to the back. I was badgered by a cell phone salesperson, which was a huge disappointment. When you pay for a membership, you don't expect to have to navigate a gauntlet of sales pitches just to shop. On the bright side, the checkout process was seamless. I headed to the self-checkout where an attendant was ready to assist, and I was in and out of the store in under 15 minutes. 10/10/25 Our favorite location. Parking 4/5 Arrived just after 6pm, very busy full parking lot. Spent more than five minutes looking for a parking space to free up. Atmosphere 5/5 As warehouses go this store is always fully stocked m, organized and clean! Despite the lot being busy and full the warehouse was not. There were customers throughout but the Isles were lightly traveled, checkout was a breeze with short 1-2 customers per register lines on three staffed checkouts. Inventory 5/5 We wanted to see what Costco had since we are shopping for our Chefs Kitchen remodel. We were able to find our bathroom fixtures, kitchen faucet and yes, and an excellent American made cutlery set! With lifetime warranty! I've been wanting to check out this Costco as it's the newest location near me but it's kind of a ways so when I was in the area on June 12th, I finally got my chance and was pretty excited:) This location opened in January 2023 and maybe I was expecting something different but like all Costcos, it has the same layout. I did find a couple Asian frozen food items I hadn't seen before: East West Cuisine Shanghai noodles and Shiitake Mushroom Potstickers. I always love finding new items but usually will buy them after trying a sample. I did pick up a 24 count of Melona bars at a crazy cheap price of $8.99 as they were on sale. Hubby also got a new pair of hard to find sunglasses at a great price too! It's really hard to beat their price and why I love Costco. Since my local Costco carries pretty much the same merchandise, I don't think I need to go out of my way to go here but as always I love checking out different locations! read more

I go to the Costco near my house all the time. One of my favorite features is their special events. They were having a sunglasses event and I found my rare favorite pair of Serengeti sunglasses at a fraction of the retail cost. Unfortunately their last pair had a scratch. I happened to be close to this location so I popped in and was very happy to see they were having the same event and they had the last pair of my favorite sunglasses! I can't believe I saved over $250! That alone paid for my annual membership and more! Also picked up some mochi ice cream and 24 pack of Melona on sale for only $8.99. It was a great day. read more

I've been to this Costco a few times. It's not the closest to me, but I usually make a stop if I'm in Queen Creek. It's fairly new and like most Costcos, it's almost always busy. It's pretty easy to find parking here, though. I last visited in November with my family, the week before Thanksgiving, so naturally, it was packed. Nothing really stood out to me, good or bad. We didn't spend a lot of time there as we only needed a few things. Got in and out in under an hour. They were pretty well stocked at the time of my visit. I haven't been to the food court or tried the food there, so can't speak for that yet. The struggle was getting out the parking lot. Because it was peak time, there was a long line to exit the parking lot. Just try not to visit during peak hours and you'll be fine. read more

I spend ALOT of money here. Like all of my paycheck and it's a nice Costco that usually has a decent selection. But the food court is soooo terrible!! The changes they have made have been the worst. It now takes longer to get any food item with their new system. However, I am the most upset because they will now not allow you to order a pizza with no cheese. They do not allow any customizations even when calling ahead of time. I spend enough money at Costco to be able to get them to make a pizza for me after shopping. Costco has some pretty decent pizza. The pepperoni is salty and the cheese is covering the top. The pizza is more of a thin crust style I would say. People who like the thick crust may not like it too much. I like the thin crust though my family is more of a thick crust fan group. The pizza might have gotten better over the years. Or they could be using a different dough. The food line is long as expected from experience at other locations. So are the lines for everything else. The Costco was much like the other ones. The layout was a little different where the eye exam and optometrist was right next to the pharmacy. I think that's what really jumped out at me. After years of hoping, QC finally got our very own Costco! Went on opening day around 6pm and it was as busy as you'd expect at Costco. For their first day, operations was efficient like a typical day. Layout is similar to the Gilbert location (not sure if it's bigger or smaller). Lots of visiting staff from surrounding stores for the first few days to make sure everything goes smoothly. I did notice several employees were newer 2021/2022. My only complaint is that an employee might direct you to a line not realizing it's self serve vs full-service check out. Wish they made that differentiation a bit more obvious as customers who don't normally do self-serve got pushed to a self-serve register and was slow. We jumped out of line and into a full-serve lane. Pro-tip: While the regular bathrooms are put in the back corner of the store past the food court, there is one lone bathroom in the tire center in case you can't make it! read more

I'm glad they finally opened up a Costco down in the Q.C. so I don't have to haul my butt all the way from Florence to Mesa anymore. It's surprisingly easy to get in and out of this place due to a recently installed stoplight, and parking wasn't a problem. They were crazy inside, but that's the nature of the beast, so I can't ding them on being successful. They did have all their registers open, and plenty of employees, but checking still took a while due to the sheer number of people there even though I was there on a Tuesday. I can't imagine what they must be like during the weekend. Aside from that though their prices on ribeyes and ground meat can't be beat by my local Safeway so that right there makes me a fan. read more

Located on Ellsworth about 3 miles south of Bell Bank Park. This Costco has a huge gas station with 32 pumps. Very lucky that there is one close to Legacy/Bell Bank park way out there East. The prices are actually cheaper/similar to the ones in Central Phoenix. Good option to fill up when out there for Baseball or Soccer. read more

I have been a member of Costco for 20 years. They seem to be a well-run company, but what they have done with their food court is so stupid! Now, you must order from the register and get in line to pick up your food. However, the ladies don't pay attention to who has been in line. So they serve whoever walks up. Unfortunately, a lot of people don't care about following rules. Also, if you order pizza and anything else, you can walk right up to the counter. So, people are constantly going to the front of the line. It's a mess! We won't be going to the food court anymore. read more

This review is specifically for the tire center. I get my tires from the Mesa Costco location but I had a tire light on and wasn't sure if it was serious or not. I called and they said I could park in the tire inflation space and someone could help me (I had never done it before). Tony came out and helped me and showed me how to do it. He checked each tire and was super kind and helpful. The new location seems very nice (have been inside once) and we are big fans of Costco so gotta have the 5 stars for them and for the service I received. read more

Costco Tire Center really sucks... I bought two new tires to replace my front ones... there's a reason that I have to have them on the front... I told them that at the time that they were putting them on... I pick up my vehicle and they had put the new tires on the rear... I understand their policy that that's what they typically do... But I told them not to do that. ... Then they proceeded to tell me that well I can drive around the block and then come back and then they can rotate them... What the hell?... Why not just do what I told you to do the first time? I have a policy too... The customer is always right! ... A nice new Costco. This was our second visit after a San Tan Park hike. The wine section is light, similar to Gilbert. Likely not the customers for good wine. Parking was easy. Costco has definitely changed their pizza crust recipe. This is the second time we have ordered pizza and noticed that the pizza crust is very hard very stiff and thicker than usual with not a lot of sauce! We had family from out of town and we ordered pizza just yesterday and everybody was not happy with us at all! I was embarrassed because we had company and they had never had Costco pizza and I was telling them how wonderful it was for being so cheap. The worst pizza I've ever had. Costco you need to bring back the original recipe and stop messing with what works! If it ain't broke - don't fix it! They need to open earlier, like 8:00 or 9:00am. I wake up at 6:00 am, workout, then would like to grocery shop to start my day, especially on weekends and holidays, when events are planned and I like to have fresh food that I don't always have the refrigerator space to store it all, during the week, with the other daily groceries too. Holly at self check out is... interesting. She helped everyone that didn't look white when paying at self check out. Watched them close up, got involved with each non white customer to ensure all merchandise was scanned, counted the amount of items on the screen and in the cart, and even scanned items for some people while they were scanning with the handheld scanner. It didn't matter if the cart was full or not, she was there. I watched her for about 20 minutes while waiting for my pizza to be done and I saw her walk by every white person scanning their items, no matter how many items they had. She made people visibly uncomfortable. When I spoke to the manager Yaneli, she basically insinuated that Holly could not possibly be like that because she knows her and that their policy states the employees are to help while in self check out so that it runs smoothly and those that don't know how to use self check out can be assisted yet no other employee was as invasive as her. There was even an old couple with a packed cart and she never offered her assistance or even gave them a second thought. My husband and I are young, we're not new to self check out as we use it at all stores that offer it and our cart had about 16 items tops that were all visible. I would have let it slide after she did it to my husband and I but she made it painfully obvious what her intentions were. Never in my life have I been so meticulously watched based off of my looks. News flash Costco employees, Mexicans aren't some poor broke people just because they go grocery shopping in their regular clothes and not some $300 outfit. read more

Cibatta bread was full of mold the day after I bought it, and the pulled rotise chicken smelled and tasted like fish when I opened it. Love this Costco and come here multiple times per month. However, an employee named Laura mom-shamed me as my son (1.5 year old) and I were walking out of the store. She was checking our receipt and my son started crying because he was hungry. I apologized and said "He's just hungry, so sorry." Her response was "Yea, but..." and rolled her eyes at him. Then went on to say "He's learning..." while glaring at us. I have never experienced anything of this sort and was appalled. Costco, please teach Laura to do better.
