I don't normally shop at CVS, but whenever they send me emails with coupons, they really stack up!! A few cents here and there, rewards bucks, on top of sales (especially BOGO Free items) will save you a ton of money!! Idk about you, but I like to save as much as I can when I can, so I can spend more money on... FOOD!!! LOL This location is the closest to me here in AZ at the moment. So far, I've ordered online twice, and pick up is pretty quick. Employees are friendly and even though there's a short line sometimes, they get my order to me as soon as I give them my name when I get to the counter. The reason for the 4 stars is because they are usually out of stuff that I want. Mainly shampoos & conditioners. Other than that, I like this store. They keep it clean and organized. I HATE THIS PLACE!!!. This is not my first or second dissatisfaction with this place, but today is the last straw. The pictures show where I tried to call about a prescription. The picture shows being on hold for more than 25 minutes. This reflects the time I was holding until I decide to drive down the road, stand in line and get to the desk to p/u scripts. This is awful way to take of customers. I tried to call because 1 of my scripts was on hold. In the past, when scripts were put on hold, that meant it would fill on refill date from past month. When that happened, that date would come up, they would fill and text it was ready. Not this time!! Because I'm there now asking why it did not fill, they are telling me the Dr put on hold until fill date, which was 3 days ago. I told her in the past, they filled on refill date and texted. I asked if there was a policy change, she said no. I asked, did that mean with todays date being 3 days later, what would the fill date for next month be. She said todays date would be used. Well that means I'll run out of medication for 3 days without scripts. CVS is the absolute worst. And yes, I'm switching. Anything is better than this place. read more

Went to CVS for a simple sports physical My son had an injury (knee cap dislocation) 10 months ago that required physical therapy. He was cleared to play his sport again by PT 8 months ago and has been playing since for his club. Alyssa Smith would not clear him to play sports for his school without a letter saying he was released to play from the orthopedic for a 10 month injury? Seriously waste of time and jumping through hoops for absolutely no reason! We asked if I could get the note through PT (right down the street and way easier than Mayo sports clinic) she refused and was so rude. Will never use CVS again! read more

When picking up my prescriptions last night there was one on back order. The girl who was ringing me out replied "um ya I don't know" when I asked when it would be back in stock. When I asked if it was possible, if they could look to see if another location has it, she rolled her eyes and sent me to speak with a gentleman who I believe is the manager of the pharmacy. he had no idea when my prescription would be in stock, nor did he care, all He said to me (no lie) is "life is hard" What a complete ASS! My review is specifically for the pharmacy, as I have never dealt with front end staff at this store. This location has a bad rap, and it's not necessarily incorrect. However, it makes sense. It's clear this location is understaffed for how busy they are. I think I what some people fail to realize is that this is closest CVS location to anyone who lives southeast of it. If you're like me and your insurance only allows you to go to CVS for prescriptions and you live a little further out, options are limited. I have also had to wait long hold times for someone on the phone- and never reach a person sometimes- and I have had to wait in the long line at the store and in the drive thru. Do you know what I'm greeted with every time I walk up to the counter after I smile and ask the person helping how their day is going? A genuine smile and I'm treated with the same kindness and respect that I show them. I have received nothing short of spectacular service from every employee at this pharmacy location that I have dealt with and every single one of them has been helpful and knowledgeable when I have a question. I know it can be difficult when we grow impatient waiting in line, but try to remember that they are just people too, doing their job in a COVID world. And they are trying their best to help us as quickly as possible. Do your part, try to stay patient and be kind and watch how your kindness is reflected back to you. read more

Whole pharmacy staff is super rude. Went in 8 months pregnant for a walk in TDAP vaccine (which their website promotes). Stood around for 15+ minutes with zero urgency from them to help their customers waiting. Was finally told that they were too busy to help me and to try Target lol. Went across the street to Walgreens and they did it for me in less than 5 mins. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. Always have to call to get my prescription refilled monthly and every time I wait 40 plus minutes on the phone and at times it gets disconnected. For the past 6 months they have not had my prescription in stock for generic and that's seems odd to me. I have been paying hundred of dollars out of pocket for name brand. Every time I need my medication filled there is always some type of issue they blame on the provider and make it extremely difficult. I have avoided CVS Pharmacy for years. Due to my insurance contract with them, I thought maybe they had improved and I would give it another chance. Sadly, my experience today was horrible. My doctor had already called in the prescription. I stood in line, gave my insurance card and was told to please wait a "few minutes" for them to update the information. I sat in the chairs waiting. And waiting, and waiting. Over an hour and 20 minutes later, with multiple employees seeing me sitting there, I finally got up to ask what's going on? I was told by the older woman with complete indifference, they paged you. I heard the page she referred to. They did not call my name. Nor did ANY employee ever acknowledge me after they punted me off to wait in chairs. I directly told this woman it's very poor customer service to have someone (the only person) sitting there and not find out if they could help! I guess they think I am enjoying spending my day watching them bustle around behind the counter. I paid for the transaction and walked away. Only then did she even utter the words of "sorry". I said to her it's a little late now to ACT as if you care about good service. I went back to get the manager's contact info. Surprise, she wasn't present today. I guess it's fine they have no one there who can manage the place. Perhaps that's why they don't care about delivering patients good care (no direct oversight). Sadly, this very situation happened at CVS in another state. So I caution you...this is their company's standard. THIS is what they think of you as a patient. After being on hold with the pharmacy for over 40 minutes, someone finally picked up and disconnected me. I really felt the pain of a Taylor Swift fan waiting to purchase a concert ticket. I decided to drive to the store and speak with the Pharmacist. The majority of the staff is rude. There are one or 2 nice ones. The pharmacist I spoke with was one of the nastiest people I have encountered in a long time. My sons medication is on backorder and there is no time frame when it will be filled. The only alternative is over $200 a month and there is no generic brand. I asked if he knew of any coupons and he rudely said "google it". I asked if they notify us when the medication becomes available and again he rudely replied, "nope". No sympathy, no suggestions. Find another pharmacy if you can. read more

I had my prescriptions sent the day before and decided not to pick them up the same day due to the long delay I seem to experience every time I come here. Thinking I was ahead of the game and that I'd get the meds in a prompt fashion, jokes on me! The pick up drive through had more than 10 cars, and the waiting area for prescription pick up had 6 people ahead of me, on a Saturday afternoon at 4:30. The employees are kind and professional. I called this pharmacy today, after a 15 minute hold time listening to an obnoxious recording, some female employee answered and seemed very impatient with me and all I needed to know was the copay on a prescription on file. She was agressivewith me and asked what the medication was and the dosage. Because the print was in micro size I had to get my phone flashlight to find the dosage, it took about 7-10 seconds to look and she said I'm putting you on hold and left me hanging on the phone for another 15 minutes and still no answer. I called back, and wanted to report her rudeness to the pharmacists and the same person put me back on hold for another 10 minutes and STILL NO ANSWER. What the hell? Are phone customers in a lower class that they won't answer? We are changing prescribers now, bye bye CVS....TOO RUDE! read more

Of I could give zero stars I would. They "upgraded" their system which has been delaying meds for weeks. App will say something's been filled when it hasn't. They'll text for refill request on some modes and not others. Hold time to try to call ahead is at least 40mins. My benefits plan is through Aetna who forces me to use this horrible place. Then- due to staff shortages (probably the employees that were dealing with mad customers experiencing so many issues getting medication) they closed the drive thru - which for immunocompromised people forces me indoors to share air with others exercising their freedom to make me sick. I will have to complain to my employer and try to seek some kind of exception from Aetna to allow me a pharmacy that can fill meds on time and without putting my Heath at risk. read more

I went in to get my flu vaccine and they stated that my insurance wasn't being accepted... when I use my insurance anyways to pay for my medications that I pick up from CVS. Additionally, on their doors and on multiple signs throughout the store, it says flu vaccine and covid vaccine are FREE. So the nurse said I'd have to pay the $75 out of pocket for the vaccine and I mentioned the sign where it said it was supposedly "free". She stated "that's with insurance". Like huh??? Came in today because I called Wednesday to refill my prescription and the lady I spoke to said it would be ready Thursday afternoon. It is now SATURDAY, 2 days after they told me it would be ready, but I am informed when I get there my prescription isn't ready and they cannot help me because they close in 15 minutes. Two hour hold with no one picking up the phone during pharmacy business hours? Read other negative reviews and I almost guarantee you will have the same experience. All of the positive reviews are probably one off experiences because I have regularly dealt with this pharmacy over the years. You will probably have one random good experience out of every 30 times you visit and that is being generous. I understand they are probably overwhelmed from the pandemic effects and being short staffed but it truely would be better to just get rid of your phone number than have customers wait on hold pointlessly for quite literally hours at a time. I have worked in both retail and on phone customer service and when you are overwhelmed, one of the first things I was ever taught is that you pick up the phone nearly right away and state something like "I'm sorry, can you please hold?" I had to call back thinking nobody was actually working there because two hours was sort of an insane amount of time to go without checking in at least once. read more

I only go here because my insurance says I have to. A couple of times now I was down to my last pill and when I called to follow up they blame my sock toe for not responding. I am set up for text messages, I asked why they didn't let me know I i could follow up but got Nothing. This last time I said I need the refill or I am out of my needed hormone med so have to pay out of mY own pocket since the doc hasent responded yet but again they didn't call me I called them! There are two redeeming qualities of this CVS, the Minute Clinic inside which was great, and the cashier when I went to leave. The actual pharmacy, and the one person I dealt with from CVS aside from the cashier, were horrible. The pharmacy was inefficient and really didn't seem to care. The woman who took my prescription made it seem as if my being there was an inconvenience. After I went to the clinic, they instructed me to go to the pharmacy to pick up some eye drops. Almost a half hour it took to get it filled. The CVS employee I dealt with also didn't seem to care all that much. Barely looked up from what she was doing to direct me where to go. The whole ordeal felt like just that, an ordeal. Again, the Minute Clinic was great. And the young man who rang me up when I was finished shopping was very polite, courteous, and respectful. A+ to them. You have to take the good with the bad, but as for me, I'll be using the Walgreens across the street for everything from now on. read more

After waiting 5 days because they were out, I called and they said it was filled Friday and today is Monday.
