Most Walgreens I hit as a DoorDasher are solid. Staff is helpful, efficient, and usually pretty pleasant. This one? Same deal... mostly. But then there's Ana. Look, Ana is efficient. She'll get you what you need, she'll ring you up, and she knows her stuff. But the vibe? Straight-up "customer service by Darth Vader." Zero warmth, zero chill. It's like she took the "helpful" part of the job description and set fire to the "friendly" part. If this were my only Walgreens experience I'd think Walgreens was running a training program on "How to Lose Friends and Alienate Customers." Ana, you're good at your job, but service isn't just doing it, it's how you make people feel while you do it. And right now you're giving "final boss battle" energy at the checkout counter. Rude, unhelpful, ignorant, nasty. Just spoke to Gabby, which if you're reading this Gabby, get a new line of work. You aren't qualified to be a pharmacist or anything customer facing. You know how when you call and are asking questions about your medications, and instead of answering the question, they say "is there anything else I can help you with?" Well that just happened.I wanted to tell Gabby the moron, "yeah you can answer the question I asked, idiot". Walgreens consistently lies and says meds will be ready when they aren't, there isn't a month that goes by that I don't have an issue with my prescriptions. When you pick things up, they are short with you and rude. They always seem frazzled and never tell you the truth about your prescription status. Wow! I'm surprised by all the poor reviews. I almost did not want to transfer my prescription here when we moved to the area. We decided to take a chance. We had a really good experience today. Both of my prescriptions were completed a day earlier than promised. We went inside and Diego helped us. He was a very pleasant young man. We also ended up buying an item and chatted with the cashier at the front. She was also very nice. The store was neat and clean. All good! read more

Unfortunately, my doctor called a new prescription in to Walgreens in error instead of Safeway where I moved my other prescriptions to. It was finally ready 2 days after they said it would be (a common med, nothing special). Had to wait in line for over an hour to pick up. I hate this location. So glad we moved to Safeway - never a problem with our meds and picking up is easy. read more

This is the slowest pharmacy I've ever been to. Not only that, they have a "drop off" lane that they slow people to pick up from. So if you follow the rules and wait your turn, some one else who has no morals can just drive into the drop off lane and pick up their perscription. Not a frequent shopper here, but it seems each time the checkout is such a slooooooooow prooooceeeeeeess, no matter how few or many people are in line. Cashier Slo-Mo Kathy needs to clue in to the fact that not all customers want to chat, nor do they all appreciate the coziness of being called "honey" every.ten.seconds (even replying with "okay sweetie, okay sugardoodle" didn't clue her in) and they just want to check out and get on with their day. I love that it's literally the only 24 hr store in the area for miles. They have a great selection of things! I was amazed and pleased to see they have some alcohol products that I haven't seen at any other Walgreens! I wonder why? Maybe because it's a 24 hr location?! The pharmacy will put back your prescription if you dont have insurance assuming you cannot pay for it. Very rude! Constantly complaining that a store near by is closed so everyone is coming to them so they can get everything done. Work more efficient instead of complaining! You know who isn't going to help you when you are taking care of your two flu infected children alone? The pharmacy at Walgreens on gantzel rd. I was in the drive through picking up Rowan's breathing treatment and I asked the pharmacy tech for a medicine called feverall for Jru. She hasn't been able to break her fever and has been sitting between 100-101 degrees all day, last night spiking around 103. He told me he doesn't have it and I'd need to come inside and look myself. Then after the pharmacist explained Rowan's new meds to me, I asked him if he could help me by getting me some feverall. I informed him that both my kids are extremely sick with the flu and contagious and I checked the store online and it said they had 2-5 in stock. He told me he's never heard of feverall and doesn't know about any Tylenol suppository (which is all feverall is). He said I need to come in and check the children's aisle. I asked "so you want me to bring my two contagious children into your store?" He ignored my question and set the phone down. So here I am dragging two awfully sick kids through Walgreens looking for a medicine that I desperately need to try and help Jrus fever. Row is a trooper but Jru is sick beyond belief and throwing a tantrum of all tantrums... and reasonably so. I can't find the medicine on the children's aisle. Now Jru is laying on the floor screaming. Walgreens is packed and everyone is giving me the dirtiest looks. I started to cry right there in the middle of the store. Finally, an employee walked by and I begged for her help. I wish I would've caught her name. I told her what I was looking for and she found it in about five seconds, rang me out, and we were on our way with more dirty looks. It blows my mind how so many people can see me struggling, having the worst moment, and all people can offer is judgement. To the tall, thin, short brown haired lady who helped me with what I needed, thank you thank you thank you! And to all the people at Walgreens who might catch my kids flu, you can thank the pharmacist. read more

This review is only for the pharmacy. It has been awful for the last 5 months I have been using them. When I say awful I mean I've been placed back on hold 3 times without speaking with anyone and was still on hold for 30 mins. This is the norm for them. So I drove over. The staff is rude, unlike the one on Ocotillo. This was the last straw. I was asked to wait for the pharmacist once I got to the front of the line and then told to get back in the end of the line. Customer service is not a priority. They need more staff, I don't understand this at all. read more

It even had a note that it wasn't urgent and needed picked up tonight. Because of what it is they can't transfer the medication. No communication no nothing. Don't waste your time with this pharmacy. I'm a big fan of the Walgreens store but this pharmacy is stunningly terrible. I tried to get my COVID booster there today and service was so bad I finally had to leave the store without getting my shot. I had an appt time and was prompt but after 40 minutes of being ignored with no hope in sight that I would be helped in the next hour, I had to leave. I have a life too. Review is for the pharmacy. Just absolutely terrible. Worth the drive to ANYWHERE else. They take forever, they are rude. Seriously fire the whole staff and start all over. It's that bad. I have a lot of stories but the most recent: I was terrible nauseous with morning sickness. My prescription was supposed to be ready so I walked in to get it, they told me it would be another hour. So I left for two hours, came back and they told me it would be another hour. I asked if there was any way the could expedite it and told them I was extremely dehydrated and malnourished, unable to hold anything down. They told me "well we have over 200 prescriptions to process so you're just going to have to be patient." So I waited in the waiting room for awhile. Left and came back another two hours later. Still nothing. At this point I was too weak to even cause a fuss. I just suffered it out and came back the next day. They showed ZERO concern for the terrible shape I was in. Expect at least a 30 min wait to even get to the window whether drive thru or walk in. Once you get there guaranteed they won't have at least one of your medications. Do not order from Walgreens.com for shipment to this store. If your product is shipped USPS, it sits for days in their store package locker because they cannot be bothered to check that locker. My fish oil pills melted together in that locker. When I went to the store after online customer service insisted the product was there, they insisted they did not have the product. They could have checked the locker then. Also, I wrote a factual negative product review on the damaged product and late delivery and Walgreens.com refused to publish it so do not rely on their customer reviews because they do not publish the negative ones. read more

I would call ahead before making this an important stop if it's close to closing time at all. Seems like who is closing is the one who decides what time they close that day, not their store hours. They've locked their doors anywhere from 30-15 minutes before they even close, which really sucks for last minute emergency medicine stops. If it's super important I'd skip it go straight to Frys up the street. read more

This place is the worst. The pharmacy sucks. Been picking up a prescription for almost the last year and every month there is an issue. Every month I pick up my medicine and they usually don't have it and it takes extra time. Then they get it in and call me to let me know they have it ready go to pick it up and it's not ready. So I set it up on auto refill to fix the issue and then they call me and tell me it's ready and so I go again and they say they can only hold it for seven days. I tried to get my Covid test done here. First it's not clear on the website the timeframe for results. Also it tells you to arrive 5 mins early. So I arrived 10 mins early to be safe. I got in the line that says Covid testing by appointment. There was someone in front of me, once they were done I pulled forward and waited. After about 7 mins the pharmacy person said it would be about a 10 min wait. I said "ok that's fine" I waited. After about 15 mins the pharmacy person asked me what I needed. I told them I was there for a Covid test I made an appointment for. She proceeds to tell me I'm not in the right line and now have to go in the back of the line next to me that now has probably 6 cars. Oh but you're not allowed to be late for your appointment either. So I decided to see if I could go get a test done at embry sure enough they had one in 10 mins. So I booked a test and headed to combs high school I was in and out in 5 mins. So my suggestion for Covid testing is to go to an embry site rather than a Walgreens. Walgreens is rude and not equipped to handle Covid testing efficiently and in my opinion shouldn't be allowed to offer it since it's such a shit show. read more
