I would give zero stars if possible. I was told by Keisha in the pharmacy that flu shots were more important than filling much needed pain meds for my daughter battling stage IV colon cancer. All I was asking for was a little compassion and understanding. She told me her meds would be ready whenever she got around to it and proceeded to hang up on me. What a joke! I moved here four months ago and continued to use a CVS pharmacy thinking that there should be no change in service. For months now I've given it a chance but No More!!!When you call it takes at least an hour and a half to get in to talk to someone and that is because you're being disconnected twice and have to call back. When you call in your prescription five days before and drive 30 minutes to pick them up they tell you that they're not ready and it'll be another half hour wait. If my RX's Weren't cheaper here due to my insurance I wouldn't EVER send a prescription here. The pharmacy staff is incredibly unhelpful and rude. I changed my daughters prescriptions from Phoenix children's hospitals pharmacy to this CVS because it close to my house. This CVS lost one of her prescriptions that was transferred to them and I had to call 3 times to have the people at CVS re-rerequest the prescription. Then my daughter has two new prescriptions sent in and I called to see if they received the rx from the DR. She rudely replied I have one prescription filled (not one of the two) I asked if the sr had sent the rx to them yes she said "you will have to ask the dr". And she hung up. I couldn't believe how rude the girl was who was working the Rx window (5/24/22 at around 5:15pm). Totally unprovoked too! Didn't say hello, didn't make eye contact, just rude and unfriendly. Then... I was checking on another Rx that wasn't filled with my others and she says "you have to call us"... um I don't have to because I didn't call for the other 4 you just handed me. I've called 3 times in the past 2 days to figure out why my new generic prescription is 'on hold' instead of being filled. This last time I was on hold for over 55 minutes and not once did anyone pick up, mind you this was well within their business hours. After doing this 3 times and not getting to speak to anyone, I called Walgreens and in less than two minutes they had all they needed to get my new RX transferred to them to be filled there. It's absurd that I was on hold that long, multiple times over a couple of days at that. That is completely unacceptable. There is no way this location is that busy. I have used this Pharmacy for the past year, the staff here are worked hard for the fact it takes them 3 days to pull the order they receive from their warehouse and put it away. I pulled in yesterday to get my prescriptions and was told it's on order. Then I'm told, "no wait, it's here but still on the pallet, come back tomorrow and it will be ready". Went back today, it was not ready, but go to the end of the line and we will get it ready. I told the person, maybe I should find another pharmacy, was told "that's fine we don't care" The pharmacy staff is incredibly unhelpful and rude. They need more people so they can get less done. I have never in my life seen a more poorly run business. The staff is always pleasant but I have NEVER 1 time got there and actually had my prescription filled correctly. I receive a text drive over to get script and then have to wait or come back. Today I was told they are 3 days behind in filing prescriptions. 3 DAYS! This evening my wife spent over an hour and a half at your location. Tehrrie Silva was an absolutely awful human being to my wife and daughter. We needed to fill my sick daughter' prescription Tehrrie told us our card was rejected and instead of calling the information herself she insisted my wife have me call. The insurance said all she had to do was call and it would have been fixed. Instead we spend an hour and a half trying to figure out a problem that was not ours. Tehrrie put our daughters name in the computer incorrectly. She was rude and disrespectful to my wife. I heard her on the phone yelling at her because they were closed and she was done and she refused to help when the insurance wanted to talk to her. She is a terrible person with terrible customer service. I have never heard someone treat someone so badly. I was on the phone with her the entire time. We will never return to CVS for anything. Ever. My wife is a human being she deserves to be treated as so. We thank the manage Victor for staying late and helping and for Arianna for being an exemplary employee and human being. This review is for the Minute Clinic. In the end, I got the appropriate treatment but I think there is a HUGE shortfall in customer care. I went to the clinic because I had a reaction to a bee sting and this was the place closest to my house. 1) I checked in electronically and sat in the waiting area. The worker came out to tell me the wait could be as long as an hour because the internet was down and she was on the phone trying to get it fixed. 2) When she called me in, she did not introduce herself or mention her credentials (like I'm a Nurse Practitioner or a PA) nor did she wear a name tag. She could have had some credibility by wearing scrubs or a lab coat. 3) She spent quite a bit of time on the computer BEFORE she spoke to me or took my vitals. I would have thought that would be the first thing she would do. She had no way of knowing whether my health issue was serious. 4) She did not ask about my medical history or current medications. When I looked at the paperwork when I got home, the meds listed were the ones I was taking when we used CVS Pharmacy about 3 years ago. I took it upon myself to check the internet for drug interactions because I'm currently also being treated for Valley Fever, which of course, she did not know because she didn't ask. 5) Since I have had this problem before, I told her what medication would be effective for treatment. I don't have confidence that she would have prescribed the right ones if I didn't tell her. You can bet I will identify other such places and and go there when needed, even if I have to drive a little further. read more

I wish I could leave zero stars to be completely honest. Last month, the representative in the pharmacy ran my card twice for my script and caused me to spend two hours on the phone with my bank to reverse it. This month, attempted to refill my script, after it showing in process for three days past the refill date, went into the location to be told that they will get to it when they get to it. Rep was very snarky and rude. Now I can't transfer my script to another pharmacy because they still have it locked in an In process status. Tried calling to have it canceled and was left on hold for 30 minutes. So, I have filed a complaint with my provider and with my insurance company about this. read more

I am a diabetic & was out of my medication. My dr faxed in new scripts at approximately 4pm. At 7:30 they still weren't done & I was told another hour. Well suffice it to say I never got a text saying they were filled. So the next day while I was running errands I stop to see if it is done. This was around noon time. Well of course it's not. Only one is. Are you kidding me? Why are they not both done & why are they still in process!!! They were faxed over at 4pm the day before. So unacceptable & the only response "oh they are behind". Well get more help!!! And this is not the first time. When I call to get refills for my husband or daughter I do NOT expect to wait 3 days to get them! If my insurance didn't require me to use them or their mail order I would NEVER go there! They suck! read more

It took 8 days to fill my prescription. Had to call my provider to call the store. Happened 2 months prior for the same prescription. They lost one of my prescription and I had to call my provider to send a new one. When I checked on some auto fill prescription and found that they where in progress. They stay in progress until I called to find out why are they just in progress for 5 days. I've used this store for 6 years and until they had a staff change and now it sucks. read more

This is literally the worst CVS. It's the pharmacy specifically. The wait in line is never less than 30 minutes in the drive through. Always! It is so slow and there's never an explanation or an apology for the wait. However it was my experience over the weekend that prompted me to write this review. I waited in line behind 4 vehicles. When I got to the window, the technician didn't greet me for several minutes. Then when she asked for my credit card and when she gave it back, she did it in that sliding metal drawn. Have you ever tried to pick up a credit card from a drawer that is 6-9 inches lower than your car window? I had to unbuckle and open my car door to get the items and had to wrench myself out the window. I actually hurt my ribs doing it. Here's the thing, if you don't want to interact with the public, don't work the window. The experience at this pharmacy is so unpleasant every single time. My advice? Go to Walgreens. read more

Ok, Funny Stuff! When my husand and I first began dating we would frequent this CVS for those all important late night dating neccesities. You know, strange on sale vodka brands, late night munchies and well, for purposes of this article, we shall call them lubricated Balloons! Wow - I went from loving this place to finding them lacking. I came in after an ER visit and the girl at the window told me unless I physically came in to the pharmacy and waited for my prescription it would be over an hour. I've never had a problem dropping off and waiting in my car for the standard "customer waiting" period - but to be told I can no longer wait into car is ridiculous ... Personally I prefer it when someone who is sick with the flu or anything else contagious waits in their car. read more

If it weren't because my employer requires me to use CVS, I wouldn't bother with this place. Walgreen's is closer and faster. I waited in the drive thru for over 45 minutes tonight, (Wednesday) after I had come this morning and being told my prescriptions weren't ready, even though I received a text message on Monday saying they were ready. They said they'd expedite them. I came back nine hours later and they still weren't ready. As soon as I made the twenty minute drive home and pulled into the driveway, I got another text that my prescriptions were ready. This isn't a one-time occurrence. THIS IS HOW THEY ALWAYS ARE!!! I've been coming here for over two years and it's always the same thing. They are always days behind and nothing is ready when they say it will be or even when they say it is. They regularly mess up my billing. They always claim they are shorthanded and that "four people called out today." I've heard that exact line multiple times. If that many people call out on that regular of a basis, hire some reliable people for crying out loud. I do not recommend them if you have a choice. They fight for me by calling the companies directly and arguing that the interactions between some of my meds does not apply in my case which is above and beyond in my book! Amazingly helpful staff. Yes, they're very busy. But all of them do their best to give customers the best service possible. Wait times can be a bit long, but it's clearly due to a lack of staff on hand (not something I'd guess they have control over at the store level), not lack of ability or caring. Bonita and Mike were both very helpful to me. They had my prescription ready on time and everything filled/billed correctly. As with any pharmacy, if you go in with realistic expectations and are polite to staff, you're more likely to get better service than by screaming at the pharmacy technicians because your insurance doesn't cover the cost of the medication. I'll definitely go back to this pharmacy if/when I'm sick again. read more
