This Walmart is horrible. They refuse to follow their corporate ad matching policy. The manager picks and chooses which local ads he will and will not accept. The register person listed off like 5 LOCAL ads that their manager will not ad match with. This is the only Walmart that will not ad match these stores, as I called a few other near by Walmart stores and they all said they DO match those same stores that this one won't! They did however offer to ad match to a store that sells that item at a HIGHER price than Walmart. Yes, please let me pay MORE than your shelf price! REALLY??? read more

This Walmart has always been one of the cleanest stores I've been to. To top it off I had gone to the right cashier Antoinette who is the sweetest and most positive lady I encountered. Very rare to find btw...It really seemed like she loves what she does and knows how to interact in such ways that it's contagious hahaha. She reminds me of "myself" in so many different levels. As she was ringing me up she greeted me with her genuine smile and having a conversation was all it took to make my day. She admired my arm tattoos and we ended up laughing after she told me she wanted a "dot" size one on her chest. I told her you will be fine!! Hahaha!! Tire Center ordered wrong tires. After arguing with employees for over an hour manager (Michael) found 3 tires and assured me they would be delivered next day and would order 4th one delivered in 6 days. Made an appointment for Thursday, 9/7/17. Had 2 installed next day and 2 on the 7th. Arrived at appt time and was told 45 min. No other customers at time. Returned in an hour tires were not installed. Waited on customer with 5:00 appt. it was 4:30. Manager had an attitude and boldly lied to my face that truck was already there. I spoke with owner of truck and he told me he arrived after me. After paying I said thank you and manager replied hmmm. Horrible attitude by all but Marcus. Very nonprofessional. First and last time for using there tire center. Poor attitude, bad service and lack of professionalism. read more

Their online grocery pick-up service is a life saver!! I am 30 weeks pregnant with 3 other kids and it's July...SO SO HOT. I am so incredibly grateful that I can order my groceries online and they will load them into my car during my pick up time. This review is specifically for the Auto Center at this Walmart. I shop here occasionally and it's just like any Walmart but the Auto Center is very unorganized! No one is ever at the counter and the guys in the garage provide no direction to those pulling in. Where do I start with this debacle. We have been going to this Walmart for 5 years and it was what you expect from Walmart. For 5 years, we could get in, get our crap, and get out. But now we have this new motherf*cker named Jason or something who's a manager now, and he decided to move ALL the groceries around the store so we have to hunt for every damn thing we need. We went to Walmart tonight tired af, needed to get our crap for the kids and go home. But no, thanks to Jason and his plan to screw all the customers over by playing some crazy hide and seek game with the merchandise, it took us like an hour to find only some of the stuff we went there to get. Thanks Jason, it is SO FUN wandering up and down the aisles with two cranky ass kids looking for stuff that used to be there and you can no longer find it. They just lost my business forever. My wife bought about $30 bucks worth or beer yesterday for our Halloween party tonight and we popped a few open last night and they were skunked. Tasted like absolute crap. Of coarse my wife lost the receipt so she brought it back only asking for a store credit and they were total jerks. No receipt no refund. Doesn't matter that we just spent $300 bucks yesterday. Just a bunch of $8 an hour retards spewing out company policy. Im done with that place. I will spend a few dollars more at my local grocery store. My only wish is my wife would have taken the beer out to the parking lot and smashed it on the floor. Saw phones for my wireless plan on a locked rack for a great price went to purchase them and they wanted to charge me almost double I told them what the price on the rack said and they said that was the wrong price. I told them that was what the sticker said and they said it was wrong. I asked them how could it be if they were locked on the rack and they had no answer for that. It used to be that the customer was always right. Now its whatever the sales associate and management says. They could care less about the customer because in their eyes you are always wrong. So again another late night, miserable experience , no frumpy yellow jacket tonight, but the likely ex prisoner lady was there tonight and had the nerve to be sarcastic with me because I went to the checkout lane where my items were instead of staying in the aisle (just behind self checkout) .... she , the grumpy , likely former jailbird says, "I brought manager back to where I left you and you weren't there...thank you " in the grumpiest of ways..... thank you??? Walmart. It's got what you need at great prices. I detest some locations, but this one wasn't half bad. We were able to get in and get out with what we needed without getting whiplash from someone else's cart. I found most items to be in stock, including the fresh produce. The sample people were out in full-force, so you could probably have lunch there for free if you play your cards right. One of the less stressful Walmarts in my experience. read more

I recently visited a Wal-Mart because I got a flat tire. When I arrived it was 10 min till 7 and the Auto Department was closing. I was told that I needed to come back tomorrow to get my tire fixed. Upset I started to franticly call my husband to see if there was another place I could get a new tire. Bob saw this and walked up to me and said "Looks like your upset, what's the matter? " So I told Bob that I was just frustrated because I work and don't know when I would be able to get my tire fixed and that my husband just called and it wasn't a problem and now I am being told I am too late. Then Bob went back and talked to the guys and said to bring my car to the back and they will get it fixed up for me. Bob is so kind and sweet. He did not need to help me out, but he did. He went out of his way to make sure a customer was happy. He treated me like family and that's what good customer service is about. I am so grateful that he came to the rescue. I've been shopping at the Walmart on Market Place for years. If I didn't save so much money every month, there is no way I would fight the crowded aisles, scan and bag my own groceries and fight the crowded parking lot. Now for the great news! I just took a leap of faith and setup my online grocery account. Simply put, this was the absolute easiest, fastest way to grocery shop at this store. I setup my online account, made a list of the standard items I purchase every week/month and added them to My Favorites. I put the items in the Cart, paid via credit card, and was sent confirmations and text messages of time of pickup. I ordered on Saturday afternoon and picked Sunday morning. The Walmart Associate, Curtis, was one of the nicest guys I've ever dealt with at Walmart and answered all my questions. This level of service from Walmart is mind-blowing! I will never have to go back into this store and fight the grocery madness. My stress level dropped about 5 points. I never thought I say this but THANKS Walmart. This is pretty much the standard for Walmarts I have been to but this location is still pretty new so it's a little cleaner than most... great prices open 24 hours stocked shelves employees in every department stocking and ready to help great bakery The only real complaint I can make is that I wish they opened more checkout lines at a time... it seems whenever I go (which is usually late) there are only 2 or 3 lanes open most of which have 2 or 3 people already in line with large purchases. If they can make checkout a little speedier I would up this to 5 stars. :) read more

RUDE workers! I bought a DVD from the selfcheckout- since one of them was rated R, it asked for a validation- makes perfect sense to me so the worker came and asked if I was over 17. I told her I was, then started to pull my wallet out of my purse to show ID. right as I was pulling out my wallet she rolled her eyes at me and rudely stated to show some ID.... I was a but taken back from her attitude, but none the less, I showed her my ID. She took a quick glance, rolled her eyes again and explained that my birthday was covered so I can't prove I'm over 17--- At this point I was getting annoyed with her attitude and simply let her know that since I have the Arizona Driver's licence that is Horizontal, therefore I'm at least 21 (I'm 24 by the way). Horrible customer service. Walmart forces shoppers to buy tobacco products in a certain line which is fine at most Walmart locations. At this location, their response is "we are out" without even looking. I could see one of the products I was looking for and I pointed that out. So I got one thing I was looking for. The other product has "never been carried at this Walmart." I find that odd since I purchased it there last week. Mallory needs to be retrained in her customer service skills. read more

I live less than a mile from store #05186 and my entire family frequented that store 3-4 times per week for all of our shopping needs, including oil changes for 3 of my family's vehicles. I routinely spent thousands of dollars at that store, used the Savings Catcher feature ($381.88 lifetime accumulated rewards), used Walmart Pickup, and ordered merchandise online. After my experience there today I will never shop at a Walmart again. I entered the store with an empty 5 gallon water jug intending on refilling it myself for $1.35 when an associate in a wheelchair encouraged me to turn in my empty jug and get a new one instead. I inquired as to the price which he said was $6.50 "but you get a $5.00 deposit fee return" which led me to believe that my total out of pocket cost would be $1.50. When checking out with the rest of my items I handed the cashier the ticket the associate produced upon my entry into the store. The water jug rang up as $6.50 which I pointed out to the cashier was not the cost I had been led to believe when entering the store. A manager came over and stated since the water was through a vendor there was nothing she could do. She wasn't willing to credit me the $5.15 difference, sell me the jug for the $1.50, or return my original water bottle that I entered into the store with. I advised both the manager and cashier that Walmart would be losing a frequent customer over a 5 gallon jug of water to which neither lady replied nor cared. Had I known the total out of pocket water cost was $6.50 I most certainly not have taken the associate's advice and would have filled it myself. Why would anyone pay $6.50 for water when I could refill it myself for $1.35? The lack of courtesy in trying to remedy the situation is what bothers me the most. Had the manager lowered my bill by $5.15 or even offered me a $5 gift card I would have felt compensated. I am currently undergoing chemo for cancer treatment so fulfilling all of my shopping needs in one place is important to me as I have little energy to spare. Now I will drive further and probably even pay more for all of my shopping needs due to the lack of customer service and lack of support I received. read more

So I know Walmart isn't known for great customer service but this was pretty bad. I went to buy some ammo but the sporting goods guy was one break, no biggie people need breaks at work I get that. I went over to electronics and asked Bert if he could unlock to ammo or find somebody for me. His response was I'm the only one covering both departments and can't leave my post. I guess he couldn't he be bothered to pick up a phone and call a manager. I guess my money isn't good enough for this guy. I told him I will go find somebody else that would help me. He is lazy! I walked over to tire and lube and spoke with Marco, he was great, he walked over called a manager and told me if somebody doesn't come soon to let him know. I then stood for for about 5-7 minutes with nobody coming to help. I finally got fed up and just called the store in my phone and asked to speak with a manager. When he picked up I told him the story and he said that he knows the situation and somebody is coming. When the manager got there he was very nice and apologized. If everyone wasn't short on ammo I would have left. All in all I stood around for about 15-20 minutes waiting for someone. Oh yeah, Bert is one lazy employee. Do not do your shopping at any Walmart. In the cold cuts department, they have been out of Munster cheese for over a month. They don't know why but R really sorry. Well you can stuff your sorties in a plastic bag from Walmart. I will never use them again. Who doesn't love Wally world! or Walmart i should say! =) I absolutely love Walmart because it always has everything that I could possibly need at a very reasonable price. This is actually my favorite location for many reasons. 1. It's a Supercenter Walmart so not only does it have all your basic necessities but there is also food and it is 24 hours as well. 2. I love this location because the people are actually really friendly and helpful. And last but not least I love it because it's actually surprisingly clean and never gets overly crowded. Every time I go I always get some VIP parking spot right in the front! Not to mention it's across the street from the San Tan Village mall so you can do some shopping after if you like. I used to live in Gilbert so this was the location that I was going to pretty much on a weekly basis. It's a bit farther for me now since I live in Chandler but it's worth the drive if you want something that's 24 hours, clean, and quick at checking out. =) read more
