I have had it with Wal-Mart being out of stock for so many items especially food items. Today there were 7 items out of stock out of the 20 I wanted to buy. Ridiculous. I have complained about this to in-store personnel over and over. Nothing changes. The pharmacy is the worse! Slow service. Worst customer service ive ever experienced. Extremely over-staffed. Half the employees there are walking around doing nothing, the rest are just gossiping and not looking to make it a pleasant experience for the customer. They ran out paper bags and the cashier telling me the only bags they have available is for $4.50 each or $1.50 each. I told her I don't want to pay either and just need a regular paper bag or a box. She states that they are out of bags and I asked her if they have a box, she said yes, somewhere in the store. I asked her if someone can get me a box, she said no, and told me go get it yourself. That is very rude. So I had to go through each aisle and finally found an empty box and get back up front to box my purchase. Where is the customer service in this store! All I can say is that the manager Jacob Beebe needs to talk to the cashier at (ST# 02099 OP#004858 TE#14 TR#01575) a lesson about customer service. read more

Today I went to pick up a prescription for 20 mg Simvastatin 90 count at Walmart, phoned in yesterday. The last time I got it there, it was $10. and came in 3 plastic containers, 30 tabs in each. This time the slide out containers were cheap cardboard and the price was $26.30. a price increase of 2.6 times the $10! Reluctantly I took them home and immediately phoned for a pricecheck at Costco, (going there tomorrow) $4.49 for exactly the same item, 20 mg Simvastatin 90 count. Walmart was charging 5.85 times Costco's price! I returned to Walmart and requested a refund. A prunefaced woman was summoned from behind the back counter and promptly informed me that they cannot use the drugs now that they had left the store. It did no good to point out that I was gone 15 minutes and that the stapled package had not been opened. She said, "we don't know that" I said that she DOES know it because I just told her and I am not a liar! When I pointed out that Walmart's price had jumped from $10 to $26.30 and that Costco had same item for $4.49, she said "prices have gone up" and that I should have called Costco first! She finally did agree to give me a refund "just this one time" I wanted to tell her that Walmart might consider posting a big sign saying that "Prices have gone up - please shop prices before you purchase here, because we do not give refunds on drugs that have left the store." ....but she had already walked off to her roost behind the back counter. So, the moral of this story is...if I want the best prices on drugs....shop Costco. read more

Holy hell this place is crazy. There doesn't seem to be anyone who works here that cares about their job. The employees chat with each other about everything you could think of, in front of customers, sometimes who are waiting to be helped. Last time I was here an employee was telling another about a crazy party she was going to go to- what she was going to wear, how drunk she was going to get, etc. Other employees are on their phones and don't seem to care if anyone sees them. And wow the customer service area is a joke. Both ladies that work there (it's been the same 2 every time I'm there) are obviously pissed they work at Walmart and don't like people. They rarely interact with their customers but keep up their "annoyed at life" conversation the whole time. Oh, and even it the line is super long and around the corner, they make sure they get to take their breaks on time- another thing they talk about. Literally every time I've been here. WalMart leads the world in apathetic, pathetic customer service. This WalMart leads WalMart. After standing in their (usually) understaffed long customer service line, I decided to peel off and use their automated money machine instead. Stood in front of it for about 5-10 mins while the system said it was rebooting. I finally called out to the clerk for help, who says, 'oh, that machine doesn't work.'. I said, why isn't there an Out of Order sign? Response? We are not allowed to put signs up. WTF! To add insult to injury, no apology, care, concern, or even notice on the clerk's part that I was standing in front of a broken machine. Total tunnel vision. Poorly trained and lack of basic manners and common customer service sense. Sad. read more

This place friggin blows!! With the exception of Dimitra(sorry if i mispelled) and Kami(once again sorry if i mispelled) the employees are ridicously rude and incompetant. every time i have had to swallow my pride and shop here it has been a complete disaster. I agree with the other yelpers and suggest that you shop at Target or even Smart & Final. The amount of crap talking i have heard here from the lower level and even higher level employees is ridiculous. Just when you think you are shopping their cheap ass items in peace....open your ears....chances are the employees are hating on you. Not my fault i am in shape and they are not right? And lets not even talk about the fact that its Walmart.....lowest of the low if you ask me or anybody else for that matter. People that work there are so fucking Rude and I'm talking about the managers and the weird staff they have there...first of all the people that work there have no respect for their customers I was shopping and getting some stuff for the house and out of no where I see this girl that works at wal-mart telling off her co-worker right in front of me she was telling him that she is not going to do the work they asked her to do...so the guy talks back to her and these people kept on throwing the F Word and other words nobody in their right minds would say when they are at work...talk about being Ghetto I was just laughing looking at those 2 idiots going at it....I understand that at this location they Close at 10pm I get it....but one time I went it was 9:20pm and this old lady that works at wal-mart smoking a cig outside tells me they were closing in 5 minutes and I told her it was barely 9:20pm and then she gives me attitude I told her ass off cause I told her lady what time you guys close and she told me at 10pm and I told her to check what time it is and she told me 9:21 ...so I told her to leave me alone dumb ass ....once I was inside shopping it turns out that lady was a manager and she was telling her co-workers if they want to pitch in for some Lottery tickets then I over heard her talking about some people that work there in such messed up way....like they say you can take out people from the ghetto but at the end of the day they are still ghetto ...poor management read more

This Wal Mart has the worst customer service I've ever seen in any store ever. I hate going here and after tonight I probably never will again. It was VERY busy with maybe 6 lanes open, and huge lines. When I FINALLY got to the front of the line, the cashier told me he couldn't take my card because he couldn't figure out how to type in an exact amount for it. It was a Wal Mart credit card!! He started yelling at me telling me he won't take it because he doesn't have time to figure it out. I've had them do it for me many times! So I give him cash and he says "You gave me $30!" and stares at me.. and I said "Yeah.. isn't my total $29.13?" and he said "YES, and you gave me $30!!" and I said "But the total is $29.13, so what's wrong?!" and he just kept raising his voice at me. EVERYONE was staring at me like I had done something horrible and he finally said "I was just TELLING YOU that you gave me $30!" Okay?! Then type it in the register and hand me the change, don't just stand there and stare at me like I gave you the wrong amount! He made me feel like a complete dumbass. Also, a few weeks ago I ordered something off the website and went to the store to pick it up. MANY employees walked past me and stared at me but NOT ONE asked if I needed help. There was a pin pad that said to click it if I needed help but it obviously didn't work. After standing there like an idiot for about 15 minutes, I finally walked around looking for someone. A nice lady in electronics came over to help me but it seemed like I was seriously inconveniencing her. She took another 15 minutes in the back getting my items... next time I'll just pay the extra to have it shipped to my house! The employees in this store always look so angry and act like you're ruining their day if you ask them a question. The cashiers are horrible. Its always cluttered and there's always employees restocking shelves and gossiping. I'd much rather go next door to Big 5 or to any local shop, even if I have to pay more. read more

I was in Walmart last week doing some shopping with my son who was just diagnosed with autism. I had his behavioral therapist with me working with him on social outings. When he stared to have a meltdown, this man walks by me and says"I would hit that kid. " Then continued to say nasty hateful things. Then started to yell at me and tell me what he wanted to do to my son. With in minutes the staff and a store manager come around and not only made the man go away but also comforted me. This was the first time anyone had done this and I would like to say thank you to the staff for making me feel safe. read more

Their tire/oil center is a joke... We waited 1 1/2 - 2 hours for a simple oil change. We would politely ask for updates, the updates were never close and they left the car a mess when we did get it back (half filled oil canister on the floor, seats pushed all the way back, greasy steering wheel). I'm honestly thinking about taking the car somewhere else for a fresh oil change so that I would have far less to worry about. read more
