    Mexican mocha and vanilla latte.
    S B.

Stopped in for breakfast and ordered the ham and cheese croissant with a vanilla latte, while my husband got the bacon and egg croissant with a Mexican mocha. His mocha smelled amazing the second it hit the table. The portions were also huge. Honestly, we could have split one sandwich and still been full. The croissants were flaky, warm, and definitely filling.

This was a great stop! Good coffee, really tasty pro mouse and eclaires, and kind service. Isabella was really kind and took care of us well, and was very nice to our daughter. Check it out.

Saw their sign while walking in the downtown section of Paso. They are certainly a bit off the beaten path, but totally worth a visit. Pastries are a bit pricey, but the quality is clear. Wife and I shared a chocolate and a peach croissant, and a large vanilla latte. They have very roomy mugs for dine in folks. The flavor was excellent, service friendly and dining area was very roomy.

Baked goods quality and variety, in shop service = 5, Ambiance = 4, Accessibility outside of shop = 3 Searched on Yelp for a bakery that specializes in the ultimate chocolate chocolate cake to pick up on our way down to Pismo to celebrate Hubby's Birthday. Love that this place is family/baker owned and the price was right. Website informative and cake option pictures were clear. It was difficult to connect via phone. Called many times the day before our drive to Pismo (Thursday) and during drive (Friday) leaving messages without response. So rolled the dice in hopes that the chocolate cake (they make a few each day) was still available and prepared to substitute. Highly recommend to email them in advance if don't want to risk it. Got a whole chocolate cake and tres leches slice. They traveled well. It was chocolaty, moist & made my hubby very happy like a little boy. The tres leches was so yummy and made me think it must be a passed down family recipe. Highly recommend to make this a rest stop by to satisfy your sweet tooth or to get some edible souvenir to enjoy at home.

Had an excellent latte and breakfast at Angela's Pastries today! Loved the varied menu and some unusual flavors/offerings (like pineapple empanadas? So cool!) Service was friendly and there was no wait time early in the morning. Had a delicious salted caramel latte and ham and cheese croissant sandwich though I wish the latte was a little less sweet and the sandwich a little less heavy. Would absolutely return to try more amazing looking baked goods!

Cute bakery with lots of little tarts and sweets options. They also have whole pecan and pumpkin pies. There's ample seating if you want to stop and take a break as well.

The key lime pie and the chocolate cupcake were delicious. Place was clean and customer service was good. Definitely will be back.

    Comfortable seating.

Angela's pastries is an old school bakery with made from scratch pastries, coffee and breakfast. I can't wait to return and try the breakfast croissants and carrot cake. Closed on Wednesdays, ample seating a great service.

We love getting pastries from here! Everything is always fresh and delicious. The inside is nice but it would be great if they made it a little cozier so more people might want to sit and enjoy their treats there :) It might also be helpful if they asked whether your order is for here or to go. Either way, it's definitely one of our favorite spots for a sweet treat!

When I visit different cities, I like to search up cafes. When I was in Templeton and did a search, this place popped up. It's rare for a place to have a 4.8 rating on Yelp and the pictures were enticing, so I stopped by. I came in on a Monday morning around 7:30AM. It was empty and quiet, which was the whole reason I came so early. There is marked, two-sided street parking in front (like a parking lot, but on a wide, open street aka Solvang-style). Nice ambience inside. Seemed like a nice place to sit down, order dessert and coffee, and do some work. The woman behind the counter grabbed and packed my cakes, and a man rung me up. I think they were the owners. Very nice people. I bought four pastries and the total was $30.50, which is considered a bit expensive, but considering the fancy-designed pastries and time it takes to make them, ~$7+ for one was to be expected and reasonably priced. Out of all four, the only one that wasn't to my taste was the tart with "Lemon" written on it. It was way too tart/sour to the degree I made a face when I took the first bite and couldn't finish it. I also wish the whip cream fruit tart had an unbaked custard base. Aside from that, the pastries were pretty good.

So many good things to rave about with Angela's Pastries. There is an abundance of parking right out front, the entrance is super cute and inviting with the plants at the entrance. They have plenty of indoor seating and was very very clean. My husband and I ordered the Mexican Mocha which was delicious with a perfect amount of sweetness that wasn't overpowering. They offer non-dairy options for the coffee for an extra 60cents. The pan Dulce was soft and empanada was full with pineapple. My husband tried the croissant sandwich and mentioned the croissant was fresh, plenty of ingredients in it and made to order. The staff was very friendly, helpful. My kids tried the cake pops and devoured them while we waited for our items. Wait time was minimal. They can also make the drinks hot or iced upon ordering.

While on a weekend trip to Paso Robles I decided to buy croissants and pastries for breakfast at our hotel with my cousins. I found this bakery on Yelp. A few minute drive from our hotel. Customer service was good. Spacious seating area if you want to eat here The croissants were ok overall but the plane one was very dense and hard to chew. We all loved the almond chocolate croissant. It tasted amazing, the crust was crispy and sugary. Overall everyone in our group loved the tarts with different toppings such as peach and pear. It was so good. The two lattes we got was not good at all, it had a burnt aftertaste to it so we threw it away. Other than that it's a great place to have breakfast at or snacks or whenever you crave sweets. Try the tarts you won't be disappointed.

Service was quick & friendly. Thank you Carlos for bringing my treats out to me. That was a pleasant surprise. The shop is clean, open and has plenty seating. Lots of treats in addition to some breakfast items. I was wanting a warm flaky croissant and I ordered the chocolate filled one. It's a touch of chocolate & a whole lotta flakey goodness. My Apple empanada could have used more apple filling. Next time I'll try the pumpkin one. Look at me being a messy Marvin with croissant flakes everywhere. I'm a messy date. Quick! Someone hand me my Temu vacuum because they seem to like my clothes. I'll be like Taylor and just shake it off-shake it off whew hoo-hooooo What I like most is the sound of the croissant when I bite into it. The crunch of the outer crust. It's early but maybe I'll stop by before I leave for some goodies to go.

Clockwise:key lime pie, fruit cheesecake, almond pear tart, carrot cake, lemon cake, chocolate mousse cake, mid ($6.50-$7.25/ea)

Previously operating her own daycare, test batches of Bread developed after an internet search often finding their way home with pupils and their parents, July 2025 finally saw Kopper open up shop at 1306 Pine Street where her goods now frequently sell-out daily. Working exclusively with a Sourdough starter named Dough-Rita, even Black Sheep's Cookies subject to traditional fermentation, guests now will find both sweet and savory treats alongside full loaves with clever names like "The Basic B" and "Mob Boss." Originally sold at the Paso Robles Farmers Market, opening of a storefront delayed as she relied on friends and family for everything from paint to plumbing, May 2026 now sees Paula regularly trying new things ranging from hefty Cinnamon Rolls to an absolutely stellar Sourdough Blondie that starts sweet and sticky before dissipating with an almost boozy sort of linger. Leaning into the "Black Sheep" name with some clever signage, a Sourdough "Cinny Roll" weighty beneath tangy Icing, those looking for something breakfast-y will note Scones and "Breaky Bombs," or their sweet brethren called "Lachee" filled with Fruit and Cream Cheese riffing on Czech Kolaches.

The food was outstanding, the prices were very reasonable, and the service couldn't have been friendlier. We ordered three breakfast burritos--one with each type of meat--and every single one was delicious. It's hard to pick a favorite because they were all packed with flavor. The salsa was fresh, spicy, and had just the right amount of kick. We also picked up a Mexican pastry, which was the perfect way to finish breakfast. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly...even if they were Dodgers fans! As a loyal San Diego Padres fan, I had to give them a little grief, but they took it in stride and made us feel right at home. It's refreshing to find a place that serves high-quality food without charging outrageous prices. If you're in Paso Robles and looking for a great breakfast, this bakery should absolutely be on your list. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in town.
