Simply Divine! Was able to try Black Sheep on my latest visit to paso and I was amazed. The owner Paula gave me a brief overview of her process and you can tell she's passionate about her craft. I tried the cinnamon roll and it was fantastic, the icing wasn't overly sweet and the dough was nice and soft with a nice chew to it. Taking some loafs on the way out of town for sure.

Wow. What a gem! Omg. The baked goods here are to DIE for. The s'more's cookie was fantastic. The loaf of bread I brought home was eaten that same day for dinner. I should have bought twice the items I did given everyone's reaction to the delicious items I bought. I'm definitely going to be coming back here!

Sausage/egg/cheese breakfast bomb & Blueberry Lychee - both so tasty and kept us going all day!

Really enjoying this incredible bakery! We've now been here 4 times and everything is amazing! So fresh & tasty - and not too sweet! This time we tried the sausage breakfast bombs, split a blueberry lychee, and brought home a garlic Parmesan sourdough loaf. Their bread is perfect for sandwiches - slices up so nice. Highly recommend!! Super nice owner & staff. They really care about what they do - and about making the best product possible. Highly recommend!!

Go here and go early! Every item was amazing. You can tell this is a place beloved by the locals with the owners knowing so many patrons. It's a family business. My favorite stop on our most recent trip. They make all the items using sourdough. On a Saturday around 9:30 AM they had already sold out of a few items. White chocolate raspberry scone - A really interesting texture, almost reminding me of a fritter with the inside of it feeling almost bread-y. This was sort of the underdog surprise of the items. The taste, texture, and flavor were perfect. Cinnamon roll - It was so soft, chewy, and fresh. The frosting complimented the dough perfectly. Green Goddess loaf - This bread had pesto and cheese swirled throughout. The texture of the loaf was perfect, with such a nice crunch on top and bottom. Apple cinnamon roll/danish - This was like a mix between a brioche, roll, and donut. We ate everything in one day, and it all tasted so fresh. We ate three of our four items in 30 minutes. That's the tldr.

Even though the chocolate chip cookie is a number one seller, I think the cinnamon roll is the best. The way the sourdough and frosting complement each other is divine. Plus the cinnamon roll is huge. I like to take mine home and warm it up. - The team is welcoming and speedy. I appreciate that the owner replies to emails directly. The shop is small and I like the branding of the mascot (black sheep) on the bags and stickers. - My only request is that you consider changing from plastic to-go containers to eco friendly compostable or cardboard. Thanks for considering this suggestion.

It is DA BOMB! My brother and I found this sweet little bakery because we had been wine tasting at LXV the day before. This isn't your normal bakery. I got a bacon egg and cheese "bomb" and it was absolutely amazing. Who would have thought to put all normal topping inside sourdough bread? YUM! A beautiful crust with a nice warm soft center enveloping the bacon, eggs and cheese. The coffee was delicious and the owners were so friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!

Black Sheep "Everything Sourdough" Bakery really should be the name. Founded by Paula and Matt, they really know what their doing. I tried a smattering of items: Blueberry scone, Cinnamon Roll, a Ukrainian Raspberry sweet cheese "danish", and a everything chocolate chip cookie. Everything was divine, including a Garlic Sourdough bread which the gf and I devoured in a couple of days. If that's not enough, they have rotating types of breads (Pesto, Italian, etc), muffins, egg sandwiches, and more. Oh yeah! Awesome! Welcome to Paso!

Recently came across Black Sheep while looking for a donut haha. I love sourdough, it's nice to have a bakery in Paso, dedicated to making bread, pizza dough, pastries and more using sourdough. I tried a blueberry muffin that was absolutely amazing, definitely beats a donut. I went back days later to get another muffin and ended up buying a bag of English muffins. They toasted up nicely, another winner. Highly recommend .

The food was outstanding, the prices were very reasonable, and the service couldn't have been friendlier. We ordered three breakfast burritos--one with each type of meat--and every single one was delicious. It's hard to pick a favorite because they were all packed with flavor. The salsa was fresh, spicy, and had just the right amount of kick. We also picked up a Mexican pastry, which was the perfect way to finish breakfast. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly...even if they were Dodgers fans! As a loyal San Diego Padres fan, I had to give them a little grief, but they took it in stride and made us feel right at home. It's refreshing to find a place that serves high-quality food without charging outrageous prices. If you're in Paso Robles and looking for a great breakfast, this bakery should absolutely be on your list. I'll definitely be stopping by again the next time I'm in town.

I ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito with added potatoes. To put it simply: it was amazing. Every single ingredient in this burrito works in absolute harmony. The melted cheese and refried beans hug the chorizo and potato. It is so hearty that after finishing just the first half, I felt ready to take on the day. Pairs super well with their home made salsa. The cashier was super friendly and the food came out incredibly fast. The best burrito spots always tend to be the most lowkey, and this place is no exception. The exterior is so unassuming that you would easily drive right past it without noticing, but it is well worth the visit when you're in town!

Even though it was a 15 minute drive up the freeway from where I was, it was worth every minute. The downtown area this shop is in was really cool, plenty of parking, and the moment you walked into this coffee shop you could tell it was going to be good. Lots of space, people sitting and having conversations, and a greeting from the Barista the second I walked through the door. I went with my standard iced oat milk latte with honey and a triple shot and it was perfect. I wish I could have drank it there because the inside of the shop seemed like a place you could hang out for a while. Unfortunately, I had to take it on the road, but that is a shop (if I lived in that area) I would drive out of my way to get to. Well done guys!

To be fair, we did order a latte, so that is partly expected. The breakfast sandwich was good but a little underseasoned and could have used a bit more flavor overall. The chicken pesto sandwich was the standout. The pesto was well balanced and did not overpower the rest of the ingredients, which made the sandwich really pleasant to eat. Overall, everything was solid, though slightly pricey for the portion sizes. The food was good, but nothing especially memorable. Still, it is a nice stop if you are in the area.
