Our family has always loved SloDoCo, so we're so glad to finally have a location in Paso Robles! My personal favorites are the lavender, matcha, and mint donuts--all with sprinkles, of course! The space is super welcoming with both indoor and outdoor seating, plus WiFi if you want to hang out for a while. They have a huge variety of donuts, including options for many dietary restrictions, as well as plenty of drinks ranging from lattes to classic coffee. Limited shared small parking space out back with the car wash next door. Clean restrooms. Narrow walkways indoors. Nearly bumped into other excited customers making their selections. Can't blame them as I was mirroring their energy! Plenty of selections with original variations. Huge maple bar with great texture! They make them very sweet here. My new favorite donut shop! Which is so sad since I don't live in Paso :( But Slodoco is where it's at. I love their variety of donuts - their display case is a sight to behold, so colorful and gorgeous. Good luck figuring out what to order. The staff was so friendly and sweet and the shop is brand new, squeaky clean and cute. When I saw the rectangular pillows, I knew I had to give them a try. I chose the chocolate chip which had chocolate filling inside, chocolate frosting on top and chocolate chips. Dang was it amazing, I loved the flaky, soft dough and the chocolate inside. Now with four locations, the newest in Paso Robles replacing a closure of its Atascadero store in August 2025, SloDoCo offers "over 100 different donuts. Every. Single. Day." per their website, with prices ranging $1.95 to $3.95 depending on style. Strangely an underserved market, DK's of So.Cal really the only other choice for anything beyond the basics in Paso Robles, SloDoCo resides in a barn-like structure on Spring Street where bags of flour and board games act as décor from 5am till 9pm Monday through Sunday. Not at all a concise concept, Rings along the back-wall difficult to decipher and those in the case varying significantly, arrival at 8:49am on Sunday oddly found many choices "sold out," though finding an alternative isn't so hard when such abundance is available. Friendly in terms of service, Mother's Day seeing several decorative options offered, $3.95 for a simple glazed Ring with a dollop of Oreo Cream feels expensive considering all three Yeasted options were no better than those yielded by commercial pre-Mix in terms of consistency. Equally unimpressed by the Fritter, even a small chunk of Apple hard to find, SloDoCo's Cruller performs well with a light and custard-y center while Blueberry Cake fares far better than a bone-dry Old-Fashioned cogwheel that may as well have been day-old. read more

Stopped in for donut holes for a road trip. They had old fashioned donut style donut holes. Yum! These were great to eat on the road - everyone loved them! Way better than the tasty traditional donut holes - although those are pretty tasty here too. I hope old fashioned donut holes & blueberry fritter bites become regular items. They are our favorites!! I can't tell you how happy I was to see Slodoco open a new location in Paso Robles. I used to go to Atascsdero when I wanted a unique and tasty donut. Their donuts are work of art. Always fresh and delicious. I can never just choose one, althoughI fo love the maple bacon donut. I'm like a kid every time I go in.. I want everything. Love seeing SLODOCO have so much success and open yet another location, this time in Paso! Per usual, there were tons of amazing donut flavors; all fresh. All the girls working were friendly. This is definitely one of their smaller locations, but there was still seating available inside along with a couple tables outside. In addition to donuts (including a spread of gluten free flavors), they also offer a variety of coffee, matcha, chai, thai tea, hot cocoa, etc. As a former SLOCAL, I was definitely happy to stop in this morning while enjoying a short visit in Paso. read more

After my last visit, I had a disappointing experience with the service at SloDoCo in Paso Robles and left a 3 star review. To their credit, Laura K reached out to me personally to apologize and make things right, something I truly appreciated and didn't expect. Because of that, I decided to give them another try, and I'm glad I did. The staff on my return visit were friendly, polite, and much more attentive. They actually paid attention to my order. When the staff member noticed I was getting a half dozen donuts, she switched from a bag to a box without me having to say anything. Good job! The donuts were as good as always, fresh, creative, and worth the stop. It really says a lot about a business when they take the time to address feedback and improve. Stopped by this beautiful donut shop on my way through town. It was perfectly decorated and the vibe was on point. Let's start with the customer service, there was a line down the hallway but I was still greeted with a "Welcome in!". Very pleasant. The women who helped me (I believe was the manager) was very sweet, patient and knowledgeable of her product. I got a half dozen and a large cold brew. It came out to roughly to $20. Not bad at all considering everything was super fresh and beautiful. You have to try the Dubai donut, they only do them on the weekends, though in the cold brew was one of the best I've ever had.
