Service was nice and quick early in the morning, but my apple fritter was dry and almost burnt.

I used to bring my kiddos here all the time when they were little we loved Dolly's Donuts! It was great to come back by on a recent visit and just reminisce and enjoy a maple bar for old times sake!

Come to this donut shop. Just do it. Eat your way through every donut they offer. They are all good. You can tell they were made with love. Crunch, perfect amount of sweet and just delightful.

At the opposite end of the same strip mall where the amazing Flavor Factory is, I noticed this donut shop on our way to finding the other. Of course, me always being on the lookout for donut places for my hubby, I immediately looked this place up to find that it had a 4.5 star rating. Naturally, it became "necessary" to see what all the hype was about esp. since we were right there. Since cronuts are the only donutty item I'll eat, he bought 2 maple cronuts. While they were a bit smaller in size than the cronuts we've had in SoCal, these were tastier, flakier, and more fresh than any others we've had. Absolutely wonderful !! My husband was VERY upset he hadn't bought more, but honestly, we already had a plethora of sweets we purchased on our little road trip, so it was fine. I was grateful for what we had, and it was such a nice surprise that we had stumbled onto.

Best donuts in the county and very well run. They actually care about the service they provide which is rare in this town.

Great donuts/ cronuts! Pretty blah service. Not much enthusiasm behind the counter. Maybe I caught them on a bad day??? I will go back.

Good donuts. High prices. Sometimes they run out of the popular items if you don't go early.

They are so sweet! We visited Morro Bay for the first time and I was so pleased with the food, we went back 3 more times!!! Everything is super fresh and the flavors were great! Coffee was delicious!! I highly recommend and I will tell you, now we have a regular place to go when we visit because WE WILL BE BACK!! We had the breakfast croissant sandwiches, the lattes, the fresh homemade soups (wow) with the fresh baguette!! So delicious! I literally took a dozen little red velvet cake pops and little cakes home with me... just delicious!! It gets packed in there but the service is great and well worth it!

We were lucky enough to snag the last almond croissant, and what a treat it was. The exterior had a sweet, delicate crunch, and with each bite, rich almond filling oozed out for the perfect balance of texture and flavor. It wasn't overloaded with powdered sugar, and the sweetness was just right--indulgent without being overwhelming. I also tried a slice of the salmon and leek quiche. It was light and fluffy while still feeling substantial and satisfying. The combination of savory salmon and sweet leek worked beautifully together. Whether you're starting your morning or looking for a midday pick-me-up, the quiche is a must-try. I was excited to try the house made mango-infused black iced tea, but unfortunately, there was nothing mango flavored about it That said, this bakery is still well worth a visit. Between the pastries and quiche, it is an easy stop to recommend when you're in Morro Bay.

Theres also a really good restaurant there, Frankies n' Lolas. See my review. Anyways I'm waiting to pick up a ride, she bumped me to a later pick up time, twice...err. So I went into the Smoothies place to check it out, oh and write a review as I wait. Cozy as it gets with the friendly staff, actually looked like they enjoy the job and human interactions. I asked for a Mango something smoothie but no pineapple, be creative. The place has a good variety of drinks and edibles, sandwiches, salads, avocado toast, and on and on. If you don't see it they would probably make it for you. Now granted I was the only order being made at this moment and my smoothie was delivered to me as I sat at the bistro table out front. I was surprised how flavorful the smoothie was, I don't know why I thought that but it did taste good, a bit pricy. I'm good with pricy and this was backed up with quality ingredients and stellar service. Ah...yes and supporting local business is good for everyone Thanks, I'll see you again! Foodguy-Martin
