Absolutely loved this little place!! Not only is the view from the front out into the bay, FABULOUS but the atmosphere was so nice! The new owners have done an INCREDIBLE job! They are so sweet! We visited Morro Bay for the first time and I was so pleased with the food, we went back 3 more times!!! Everything is super fresh and the flavors were great! Coffee was delicious!! I highly recommend and I will tell you, now we have a regular place to go when we visit because WE WILL BE BACK!! We had the breakfast croissant sandwiches, the lattes, the fresh homemade soups (wow) with the fresh baguette!! So delicious! When you're in Morro Bay and spot a giant BAKERY sign, head inside! This is La Parisienne, and it is mos def worth the stop. We were lucky enough to snag the last almond croissant, and what a treat it was. The exterior had a sweet, delicate crunch, and with each bite, rich almond filling oozed out for the perfect balance of texture and flavor. It wasn't overloaded with powdered sugar, and the sweetness was just right--indulgent without being overwhelming. I also tried a slice of the salmon and leek quiche. It was light and fluffy while still feeling substantial and satisfying. The combination of savory salmon and sweet leek worked beautifully together. Whether you're starting your morning or looking for a midday pick-me-up, the quiche is a must-try. I was excited to try the house made mango-infused black iced tea, but unfortunately, there was nothing mango flavored about it That said, this bakery is still well worth a visit. I will be back to try the cheeseburger!! The Apple brioche was beautiful but way too big. The Blackberry Cream Cheese Danish was messy and hardly any cream cheese. The Chocolate Croissant was good. Iced Mocha was OK. Turkey sandwich on croissant was really heavy, not much to write home about though. Caramel Oatmeal cookie good. Raisin Oatmeal was really good. Chocolate Chip Oatmeal crumbled. A great in the little twin of Morro Bay. The strawberry croissant is outrageously delicious as are their breakfast sandwiches. We ordered our sandwiches on their baguettes and wow. Get to this shop if you are anywhere near Morro Bay. The baked goods are divine. Excellent! Raspberry, cherry, strawberry pastries with a delicious custard-type center. Cookies so good you'll have a hard time eating only one. There were multiple choices of various quiches and the slice was generous. The shrimp salad was great, especially for the price. The sandwiches were filling, tasty and reasonably priced. The small restaurant might have a long line requiring a wait to order food, but it's well worth it. Highly disappointed in this companies integrity. We went there yesterday Monday, ordered variety of pastries and expensive breakfast $10 sandwich, which tasted okay. We decided to order Quiche and soup to go and asked what time they would be closing to pick it up, They said 3 pm. They asked us to pay at that moment, for easy pickup. We did. We got there at 2:30 pm and they were CLOSED!! We called and no answer. This was so disappointing. Nobody likes to be ripped off. They could of waited for us. We even got there earlier to be helpful and not have them wait. Food okay but this was really awful!!!! They are closed this morning and open tomorrow, and we leave today. There is often a line out the door early in the day. Trust me it's worth it! Their breakfast croissant is the best deal in town but that doesn't stop there. They have to lost reasonably priced menu on the Embarcadero. If you're in the mood for a quick bite before you head off to explore the marina, come here. This place was nothing but cheapskate shit! the asian man at the counter was not using gloves to dish the desserts. My family saw him use his unwashed hands to fix the frosting on one of the pastries. They gave me my sandwich in PLASTIC WRAP. We got a Cream cheese Blueberry Croissant and an Almond brioche. The croissant won this round. Light, airy, crispy and fluffy. Crafted perfectly and offset by the tasty blueberry cream cheese. The Almond Brioche was good, but somehow overshadowed by my wife's croissant. (Sounds like odd code words, but it's not... right?!) The customer service was good, space is small and can get crowded. Every pastry I have is accompanied by "mmmmm" and the French toast sticks are incredible!! They have tasty looking breakfast sandwiches that I will try soon--I'm sure they'll also be amazing!! They also serve lunch which is also on my agenda...I imagine their French onion soup will be delicious and perfect for a cooler Morro Bay day! Been going since they had their first location in Hanford, CA. Loved it then, love it now. Was sad when they closed but had no idea they were relocating to central coast. What a nice surprise approaching front street and thinking to myself...... it couldn't be???, and it was but even better. They offered so much more. The quiche and macaroons a really my all time favorite. Everything is delicious and can't wait to meet the new owners. Sounds wonderful. Can't wait to try the soup. My mom loves the almond croissant and the cookies are so good. We always take a box of goodies back home for all to enjoy. Always one of my favorite places to stop and get coffee, too. While walking around Moro Bay I stumbled upon this cool little place! Baked goods, sandwiches etc. I had a strawberry fruit tart which was excellent! I also had the best BLT that I've ever had in my life! Served on a French bread style roll. It was super delicious. The establishment is on the small side but there is some seating inside and outside. The service was top notch. Everyone was so nice. Coffee was good too. Too good to pass up so I got a cheese Danish and a small coffee a brioche cheese something for later, and two chocolate chocolate cookies for tonight. Seen the good reviews and while I was staying in the area decided to try before heading up north. It's in a nice little area with other small businesses. There seems to be a good amount of locals that visit here, and the people working knew a lot of them by name. Great thing for sure, it was a fine interaction ordering. There is a lot to choose from, they have such a wide range of items they make and sell. Went for pastries but tried a bacon egg and cheese croissant. It was fine nothing to write home about but it did the trick. Wife ordered a ham and Swiss, she didn't expect for it to be packed with other things just because they weren't listed. The people running the business were nice. The pastries were a bit mixed one we like the other not so much but for a lot of people they will find this nice little place charming. Got to try this place today after a lot of recommendations and wasn't disappointed. My boyfriend and I bought a lot of stuff here to try for the family but I got a breakfast croissant for my main breakfast. My boyfriend got sausage rolls and I ordered a couple extra cookies. I got the chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia nut, and double chocolate cookie. The breakfast croissant was alright. Personally in my opinion, it was a bit burnt. The croissant was crispy but you could definitely taste a slight burnt taste to it. It was a pretty good size though but I suppose there are places that are better. I did get to try a sausage roll and that was delicious so definitely invest in those if you're trying this place. As for the cookies, those were amazing. The cookies weren't the crispiest but neither were they the chewiest. It was a bit of both which I appreciated. Like you could break pieces off the cookies and not have a cookie explosion but it wouldn't also start drooping either. The chocolate chip cookie was sweet but not overly so and same with the white chocolate macadamia nut. The double chocolate cookie though was like a brownie in a cookie form. Soooo delicious. Definitely would come back again for those. All in all, a good breakfast location. But probably will be trying a quiche next time as opposed to the breakfast croissant. read more

I went 1/2/26 for my first time and I ordered 2 slices of the Chocolate whipped cream cake. The whipped cream was good but the cake itself was really dry, not moist at all. The service was good though. Inside the bakery there was a lot of flies and didn't seem quite clean. read more

LOVE THIS PLACE! Authentic French pastry as well as sandwiches, coffee, quiche and many other lovely treats. Now if you go later in the day the choices will be seriously limited. As a matter of fact I believe that they may close when things are depleted. If you love fine pastries this is a must. They will reopen in mid September and I plan on being there!!! (Out of Town visit) Cute little spot right across the street from the harbor, with some yummy selections of pastries and also has a menu for breakfast sandwiches or wraps. Lost a couple stars because for a Saturday at 935 am, maybe have more then 1 person at the peak times, because 1 lady was responsible to run the register, take orders and bag up to go orders which took the line outside.. took about 30 mins to order a strawberry croissant and 2 cookies, while I watched 3 people (employees, 2 in aprons) in the corner snacking and talking with each other, looked like one girl was off but swung by to grab a snack, lol.
