Nick served us last time we were at Blue Shell about a year ago and was happy to see him working again this trip! He's very welcoming and seems to really like being where he is, made another great memory for me and my boyfriend. This might be one of those hit or miss places you might enjoy, you might regret. But, you can't pass up. They had me at fresh made cinnamon rolls. It was really good! I got it with walnuts and cream on top. I'm not a cinnamon bun connoisseur by any means but this was one of the best ones I've had. They also have a coffee shop. I stopped by to pick up a little treat after lunch. It was surprisingly really dark inside, so it was kind of difficult to take a look at all their offerings. I do have to say that it smelled delicious inside, like freshly baked cinnamon rolls. I ended up grabbing a Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup. It was huge and so delicious. It wasn't too sweet and I loved the peanut butter they used. Next time I'll be sure to try one of their cinnamon rolls! read more

Stop by here on a Saturday around 10am. I ordered a cinnamon roll with cream cheese on top, no nuts on top. Great service and quick. A trip to the Central Coast always meant cinnamon rolls. While, they didn't have any of the gluten free variety, what they had smelled amazing. Walked by around 8am and smelled the sweet smell of cinnamon rolls. Walked in the unlocked door, and was told by an employee that they do not open until 10am. Very late opening time for a cinnamon roll and coffee spot. While inside, my wife noticed they had fudge. We went back early in the afternoon to get some fudge and was told they were out. They were waiting on the FedEx guy to bring more today ... surprised it was not made locally. I went back at about 6pm to see if the fudge shipment had come, only to find they close at 5pm.
