A bakery in Cambria that serves freshly baked bread, pastries, cookies etc. You can also have breakfast or lunch here. They serve coffee drinks as well. While staying nearby we stopped by to get coffee and a croissant with my son. It tasted ok. We will try the sandwiches next time we are here in Cambria. Customer service was ok and the ambiance pretty nice.

Dessert cooler is always looking yummy!

Very good chocolate raspberry cake. Moist and delicious. Meatballs subs are also very good and big. It can get busy here.

It is so hard to choose a pastry.

The French Corner Bakery is a busy stop in Cambria. The locals come here to grab the day old bread for a yummy bargain. Sandra gets here at the crack of dawn to greet all the early risers with her smile and a cinnamon roll warm from the kitchen. Ham and cheese croissant is another favorite. The lunch sandwiches are huge, so you might want to split one. Be sure to stay and people watch. People from all over the world come here as they visit town. It is super cute decor.

Cute and convenient bakery/ coffee shop located right on Main Street of Cambria. Staff were friendly and allowed my dog inside too while my mom ordered. Wanted some sweet treats for dessert and grabbed the chocolate chip cookie, coconut macaroon and an iced chai. Chai was refreshing, maybe a little light on the chai spice. Macaroon was delicious, cookie was on the thinner side so more crunchy than soft. Overall a good spot with options for coffee, pastries, and sandwiches.

Cambria has a gem and seems everyone knows about this place. First parking sucks but if you find it come in for the lemon tart. Sharp lemon in a perfect shell $8.25. The tart was so good my friend ordered one to go after devouring the first one. We tried blueberry coffee cake (crumbly). Cinnamon roll needed more cinnamon filling. The ham and cheese croissant was great. Overall i doubt you could go wrong. But if you see the lemon tart grab one they go fast.

Amazing pastries and tart. Fast, friendly service and clean establishment. Wanted to give five stars... No bathrooms or indoor seating. There were clean tables and chairs outside. We ate in our vehicle due to the brisk, mid January morning temperate. Limited parking, so you might need to park on Main Street. The Chocolate croissant was big. It was Full of chocolate inside and out. Not a traditional buttery flaky croissant, a little dense, but tasty. The lemon tart was fabulous as well as the apricot/cheese danish. So much flavor in both!!! The apricot currant scone wasn't dense like scones can be. If it was a little warmer with a pat of butter, it would've been perfect!! They were willing to warm it, but we were on a tight morning schedule. Worth a stop. Lots of people were ordering hot drinks. We did not. Definitely will go again next time we are in the area.

Place is really small and it is difficult to find a place to stand where you don't feel like you are in the way. Staff was adequate Plain croissant good Ham and cheese croissant was average (ham not very good) Coffee was nothing special

If your ever on Hwy 1 and in Cambria you gotta stop at the French corner! Sara welcomed us in a very friendly manner and just blessed us with a beautiful smile! Treats were delicious and very filling, but I must say I felt as if I was at home, thank you for reminding me that a small town can definitely have a huge heart

Love this cozy place! We visit every year for our annual PCH roadtrip, and the bakery goods are always a great breakfast. This time we got the spinach and feta croissant, and the chocolate oblivion cake (and a peanut butter cookie for the road!). Delicious as always. The service is quick and friendly, so we love it!

This is a small, old fashioned bakery that apparently makes great sandwiches. We have only sampled their amazing pastries and excellent lattes. The fruit tart and eclares are yummy! The young women who work there are pleasant.

The desserts at French Corner are made from scratch delicious and absolutely amazing! If you happen upon Cambria stop in this local shop!

After a big meal the night before I wanted a good cup of coffee and a quick pastry to start my day. This place was a great find. This is the sleepy and cozy kind of bakery that you hope to find when on vacation in a beach town. No frills but the staff was very nice and had plenty of a selection to choose from. Not sure what kind of coffee they brew here but the drip coffee was amazing and exactly what I needed to comb the beach with afterward on a foggy and chilled morning. I got a bear claw for my pastry and it was the perfect level of sweet and had a lovely almond flavor. I also ordered the vanilla concha because I have never seen a concha made at a French bakery before. It was amazing! Maybe one of the best concha's I have had. If you see it available when you go, you should get it. Nothing much else to say but if you go here looking for what I was looking for. It will exceed your expectations.

When this happens, I know I found a great restaurant. We had a delightful lunch and desserts. The patio was just right for a sunny day in January. Our server was very friendly and the chef/owner Giovanni even came out to greet us. We found out about his homemade limoncello which was the perfect ingredient for one of the desserts. I seriously love this place!!

I have done take out and dined in at the Harmony Cafe in the past. The take out wasn't memorable…read morebut what was memorable was ordering Prosecco to enjoy while we waited for our food. The owner said he had a special Prosecco and that he had "a guy" who gets it for him special. He let us keep the bottle since it was our anniversary weekend. When we got back home, I googled the label on the bottle and to my surprise, it turned out his "guy" was Trader Joe. That was good for a few laughs. The dining in meals were at the restaurant's special events with a fixed menu and price. We met friends there for those meals. Both meals were nothing to write home or a review about. Our friends felt the same way. I thought eventually, we would dine there when we are in town enjoying our second home. After today, I will reconsider. My wife and I were near the cafe and she wanted to go into a particular shop. There was no parking spot available so I dropped her off and parked next to the cafe. I stayed in the car to wait for her. I noticed a crude handmade sign on an orange cone that read "parking for Harmony Cafe". There was one car ahead of me but I waited with the engine running. After about 5 minutes, a door opens from the side of the restaurant and a woman comes out. I didn't think anything of it. A few seconds later she comes out again and goes behind my car and takes a photo of my license plate. I thought that was hilarious. First of all, it's a public parking space that apparently the Harmony Cafe has commandeered with a makeshift sign. I have never seen another business in town do such a thing. Cambria is such a peaceful and relaxed place, very laid back but just don't park in the Harmony parking spots if you aren't a diner. I wonder what she does with the photos of those license plates.

They have tons of fudge flavors all made in-house, a wide variety of chocolate bonbons, salt water taffy and all sorts of retro candies - what a find! They have ice cream and jelly belly beans and even sell a surprising variety of Crumbl Cookies! I'm a sucker for chocolate fruit cream bonbons so I opted for a bunch of those flavors, as well as a coconut one and a couple of fancy looking ones: lavender white chocolate and rose white chocolate! I took them home to share with the hubby and we really enjoyed them! The traditional fruit creams were excellent, as well as the coconut bonbon. The lavender and rose ones were good but just too sweet and rich for me (personal preference). Staff are super sweet (no pun intended lol!!) and helpful. Prices are what you'd expect for the area and they offer shipping and even gift wrapping services. Their location is excellent - very walkable little town with lots to see and do. Parking is all street parking and ample outside of the busy season. A great spot to stop and satisfy your sweet tooth!
