Had the pleasure of stopping by Sweet Offerings after a big lunch across the street and boy, was I not disappointed. They have the usual candy selections of taffy and candies, but the star of the store was their homemade fudge which the owner makes herself daily. We tried the Chocolate Fudge, Peanut Butter Chocolate and the Dark Chocolate Caramel and all were excellent. Do not miss this lovely store. Was walking off my lunch and hoping for some dessert when I stumbled upon this cute little candy shop in the heart of Cambria. They have tons of fudge flavors all made in-house, a wide variety of chocolate bonbons, salt water taffy and all sorts of retro candies - what a find! They have ice cream and jelly belly beans and even sell a surprising variety of Crumbl Cookies! I'm a sucker for chocolate fruit cream bonbons so I opted for a bunch of those flavors, as well as a coconut one and a couple of fancy looking ones: lavender white chocolate and rose white chocolate! I took them home to share with the hubby and we really enjoyed them! The traditional fruit creams were excellent, as well as the coconut bonbon. The lavender and rose ones were good but just too sweet and rich for me (personal preference). Staff are super sweet (no pun intended lol!!) and helpful. Prices are what you'd expect for the area and they offer shipping and even gift wrapping services. Their location is excellent - very walkable little town with lots to see and do. Parking is all street parking and ample outside of the busy season. A great spot to stop and satisfy your sweet tooth! read more

What more could you really want from a sweet shop? This place has ice cream, cookies, candies, fudge and everything is reasonably priced. Don't forget to take a look at the old section. I went here on Wednesday around 2 PM it was immediately greeted by kind employee. They gave me the rundown of everything they had, and we were talking about ice cream, I noticed I discounted candy area. I'd grab a shortbread and a brownie and went back to my hotel. When I eat them later, I was blown away by the flavors. The brownie was a great texture, with a nice cocoa flavor. It definitely was not a dark chocolate brownie, but it had a really nice flavor without being overly sweet. the shortbread cookie had nuts and I think some shredded coconut, and I don't particularly care for coconut, the cookie was delightful. If these were the olds, I can only imagine how good the fresh stuff is. All in all, this is a great little shop that I will gladly visit it again when I'm in the area . read more

The ice cream was great but for a sweets shop, the staff was pretty sour. The woman helping scoop the ice cream was extremely rude, did not greet us and was put off when my dad asked for a single sample of the ice cream while we were ordering multiple scoops. I was pretty shocked since we were the only customers in the store. Definitely the opposite of what you'd think you'd experience in a small town candy store. This is a cute candy shop in the adorable town of Cambria! They have home made fancy chocolate treats as well as fudge and the typical boxed candies. It's a little pricy but the chocolate/truffle counter is worth it! I would pass on the typical boxed candies that you can find at any gas station and focus on the truffles! Tall glass canisters of jellybean and gummi whatevers are well-stocked with spigots at the ready. Cute little candy store that we'd never noticed before in Cambria. A bit pricey, but hey, we were on vacation and it is at the coast! The lady behind the counter was very nice and friendly. We got two pieces of fudge, one with walnuts and a rocky road. Both were really good. We also got two pieces of marshmallow and carmel covered in chocolate. It was OK but the chocolate was thicker than I cared for. Next up we're two turtles. Milk chocolate for the hubby and dark chocolate for me. They have a great selection of vintage candies/candy bars but also carry some unique modern items like Pink Himalayan crystal salt caramel bar and chocolate covered bacon. This store is fairly new. Normally I don't have a sweet tooth and do not visit such sweet shops. But the decor as I was walking by, really caught my eye. Chandeliers, black and white hand painted stripes on the walls.... chocolate.... everywhere. They had a huge selection of sugar free truffles and such. A bit pricey... if you ask me. My husband bought 2 truffles for $2.25 EACH. I had one bite of one of them and asked him why he only bought 2. It was the almost the best chocolate truffle I've ever had. read more

A fun candy store with lots of homemade high-end candies plus plenty of Retro Candy -they have lots of Taffy bulk bulk jelly beans and some old school candy bars like Clark and many others, if you like that. My friend and I share the pecan Turtle dark chocolate caramel piece and it was enough for both of us to have a wonderful treat. We then had some fudge and the older woman behind the counter talked to us about how it was made and what would into it and it was interesting and most importantly it really tasted great. so it's great for people of a certain age people who only want high-end chocolate and kids who might want some choices about some small pieces of candy and some of us didn't want to go back to our youth for the nostalgic candy. it's worth a visit and again it's about expectations... its homemade candy in a resort area with some small business people trying to make it so it's going to be a little more expensive. read more

But Sweet Offerings was a little more than that, the smell alone upon entering the store was enough to make me want to dive into the piles of fudge and never come out. The staff was great to talk to about candy making and they had samples of the homemade fudge that you could try (they even had Root Beer flavored fudge, hello? that was freaking AWESOME). With the nostalgia candies and all of the other goodies one could spend some time and buy many calories if one wished to. Heard about this candy store from the receptionist at our hotel and decided to make a trip to check it out. She raved about the fudge since the owner makes it in-house, so I had high expectations. To justify my expectations, the owner let us know that she had been making the fudge for over 20 years. She let me try the chocolate walnut but it was way too sweet for me, so I didn't buy it. My husband wanted to try the Mexican chocolate fudge but there was no samples for that one, so he just bought a square. When he tried that one out later on he said it was too sweet. I didn't bother with it. Kind of expected amazing fudge so I was disappointed that theirs didn't meet those expectations. read more
