It is definitely a "cozy" spot--it's essentially standing room only--but the vibe is incredibly friendly and welcoming. It feels like a true neighborhood gem. I ordered the Mexican Mocha, and it was delicious! It had a great balance of spice and sweetness. However, I do wish they offered a traditional Café de Olla (coffee with cinnamon and piloncillo) without the chocolate element. Sometimes you want those warm spices without it being a full-on mocha. Overall, a lovely spot for a quick pick-me-up. I'll definitely be back next I'm driving through to try more of the menu!

When we got to the lobby, the staff had just gone out on break, so we had to wait about 25 minutes with no cell service. When Staff, Bri, finally came back, there was no apology when we mentioned we had been waiting for quite a while. We tried to brush that off, but when we got to the room it was freezing and the windows were wide open. There was also a pretty bad odor in the room, which might explain why the windows were open. The heater was covered in dust, so I didn't even feel comfortable turning it on. Then we went to use the bathroom and realized there was no soap. I figured I'd just use the body wash instead - but there was no body wash either. I went back to the front desk to ask for some, and they told me they had been out of body wash for weeks. Again, there was no apology, just an excuse, and they handed me a bar of soap. Overall, the property looks cute from the outside, but the lack of cleanliness, basic amenities, and customer service made the stay pretty disappointing.
