San Luis Sunrise. 2 eggs fried with bacon ends and avocado on a blue corn waffle & a spicy sauce!

It's Food with a speakeasy vibe. only we looked it up on Google maps lol, but That didn't matter, because when u "stumble" upon this place u feel like u found a Hidden Gem, because u did. Enjoy! Service was great

Super thick and creamy smoothies

Hidden garden brunch spot in Cambria. Delicious big blue corn waffles available in savory and sweet. But also -- BEST smoothies I've had - super fluffy, thick, creamy. It's like ice cream. It's even better than Erewhon!

Vegan bowl, Cambria Classic and Morro Melt

Went for brunch on Saturday around 10:30 a.m. and ordered at the front counter then found a seat in the cute courtyard with a view of the ocean. The food was brought out quickly and wow, flavors were perfect. Husband had the Moro melt and loved it. I had a veggie big fall bowl. The Cambria classic also lovely. Great place for brunch, have lots of options for gluten intolerant peeps.

Cute little spot that truly is a hidden kitchen. You'd miss it if you're not paying attention. We tried the Morro melt savory waffle with a blue corn waffle, pan fried organic turkey, havarti cheese, caramelized, onions, avocado, hidden kitchen sauce, and arugula!

Sunrise waffle Monte Cristo

Omg! This place is a Celiac's paradise!! Their menu is amazing! Every time I'm in town I have to make sometime to stop and eat there! The vibes are so cute and the staff are so nice! My must have favourite is the monte Cristo! But I branched out this trip and I'm so glad I did because it's now tied for my number one favourite.

*Visited around 10:30am on a Sunday :) I cannot reiterate how much I love the hidden kitchen. Even though this location is only open during the weekend, it's in the heart of downtown Cambria and honestly a perfect brunch spot. The seating is outside, and is very chill & quiet area. Ordering is fairly simple, you order with a staff member at the front of the shop and sit down with a number. Your order will be brought to your table by a very friendly staff member. Once done eating, it's pretty self serving when you'd toss your plate and put the utensils into a bin. OKAY THE FOOD: * you CANNOT go wrong with their smoothies here. Fair warning, they are pretty thick and SO filling but you're able to take it to go if you don't finish it! * Morro Melt Waffle: today was my first time having this dish and MY GOOOODNESS is it super tasty. It was very filling and not too heavy. 20/10 would recommend!

Fantastic food that allergen friendly. We had three of the waffles and the Gordon Greens smoothie and they were all delicious. Highly recommended. I'm a coffee snob and the drip coffee we surprisingly good for a big pot of drip. Medium roast and food full bodied flavor.

I have to tell you that I wasn't going to come here but I'm so glad we did! This is a hidden gem the best breakfast I've ever had. Don't let the Blue corn waffle or Organic make you think twice, it was DELICIOUS. Such a cute little place and the service was great. The girls were friendly. Don't miss this place it's A MUST try if you want breakfast.

Food was delicious. The coffee was great and the location very charming. Service was excellent as well. Love the small kitchen they run on. Must dry!

Weirdo waffle

Loved the vibe. Although it could use a little bit of dusting up. Pricer than expected. Ordered: the morro melt. Savory af Weirdo waffle. Great as a dessert meal. I like peanut butter but not too much of it. The problem I had was that the peanut butter took over the taste of the whole meal. The bacon was a nice touch. I love bananas too.

Our first time in Cambria and the The Hidden Kitchen pops up on Yelp's restaurant search. Seeing 5 stars on a page just teases us to check it out. We were in the area the night before dining at nearby Robins and saw a sign pointing to this patio resto. I thought it was just a back alley for Slabtown Mercantile's parking. So we decided to return to this area after a morning's walk around San Simeon and Moonstone Beach. I was anticipating this tiny kitchen to be packed after taking some time to park, but no, it had a few tables available on the 3rd of July, Monday at 12 noon. What I liked about this "earth to belly" eatery was its one page menu which kept choices easy. The dishes were relevantly named after locales of the SLO. Ordered on the counter/kitchen and picked a shaded table by the corner next to the curio shop and waited. First came our drinks which were the Upgraded Coffee $8 (think bullet proof coffee w/ dates as sweetener) and and Islay Immunity $11 (turmeric ginger fruit smoothie w/ bee pollen). Next came our blue corn waffle plates. San Luis Sunrise $18 (eggs and avocado w/ savory bacon ends), Avila Avo $16 (free range eggs, avocado, tajin & "everything bagel" seasoning) and the Fiscalini Fruit $17 (strawberries, bananas & grass fed butter). The chipotle flavor of the HK sauce made quiet a bang to our taste buds. Food and drink were not bad for organic and gluten free fare. It was however pricey for the size of the portions (waffles excluded). Staff were amiable and answered questions with a smile. What I didn't get was that the cutlery was reusable but the plates & cups were one-use though they were bio-degradable. Having tried both the sweet and savory blue corn cakes, we probably could call this our first and last visit. Hidden Kitchen should be on one's brunch option when in Cambria.

No reservations required. Walk in and order food and find a place to sit. We ordered the following: Islay Immunity smoothie - with pineapple turmeric ginger banana orange juice and bee pollen San Luis Sunrise waffle Avila Avo and Fiscalini fruit waffles Food is really good. First time trying the blue corn waffle and was scared it might have a different weird taste but surprisingly it was good. Service was perfect. The place has a casual feel and you just need to find a table and munch on their delectable food. Then clean up after yourself. Definitely highly recommended.

When this happens, I know I found a great restaurant. We had a delightful lunch and desserts. The patio was just right for a sunny day in January. Our server was very friendly and the chef/owner Giovanni even came out to greet us. We found out about his homemade limoncello which was the perfect ingredient for one of the desserts. I seriously love this place!!

The owner said he had a special Prosecco and that he had "a guy" who gets it for him special. He let us keep the bottle since it was our anniversary weekend. When we got back home, I googled the label on the bottle and to my surprise, it turned out his "guy" was Trader Joe. That was good for a few laughs. The dining in meals were at the restaurant's special events with a fixed menu and price. We met friends there for those meals. Both meals were nothing to write home or a review about. Our friends felt the same way. I thought eventually, we would dine there when we are in town enjoying our second home. After today, I will reconsider. My wife and I were near the cafe and she wanted to go into a particular shop. There was no parking spot available so I dropped her off and parked next to the cafe. I stayed in the car to wait for her. I noticed a crude handmade sign on an orange cone that read "parking for Harmony Cafe". There was one car ahead of me but I waited with the engine running. After about 5 minutes, a door opens from the side of the restaurant and a woman comes out. I didn't think anything of it. A few seconds later she comes out again and goes behind my car and takes a photo of my license plate. I thought that was hilarious. First of all, it's a public parking space that apparently the Harmony Cafe has commandeered with a makeshift sign. I have never seen another business in town do such a thing. Cambria is such a peaceful and relaxed place, very laid back but just don't park in the Harmony parking spots if you aren't a diner. I wonder what she does with the photos of those license plates.

They are known for their fresh out of the oven flower pot bread. It's a little crispy on top and as you work your way to the bottom, it gooey, and almost slightly undercooked deliciousness. It's so tasty that's it's had for me to try something else. This restaurant is very small and cozy. It's like an old school family restaurant with a cute fire place. I always try to arrive right when they open so I can get a table right in front of the fireplace. It's so cozy! And then I have to get my glasses of wine. The ambience is just very quaint and cozy. We haven't had a chance to dine in yet because... kids and time, but honestly, the food alone keeps us coming back. Every time we've ordered, the experience has been consistently excellent. Their food is truly perfection, from the warm, fresh bread to the beautifully prepared entrées. We've tried the pot roast, short rib, and the coffee-crusted Kobe sirloin, and every dish has been rich, flavorful, and cooked with love. On other visits, we tried the salmon and the olallieberry pork tenderloin, and even as takeout, everything arrived perfectly cooked and incredibly tender. Their mashed potatoes are always silky and consistent, and the vegetables are exactly how I like them, fresh, crisp, and full of flavor. Kids love their food.
