Chai was. Ice and thick. Salmon sandwich was good. Croissant tasted good but was a little singed. Good thing about croissants is the dark parts scrape off easily. One of the offspring experienced a ramen salad and did not like it. Weird since half of his calorie intake is ramen... They let me put Stoutcast.com and Thespitter.com stickers on the register, so thanks! Outdoor seating out of the wind which was awesome. Servers Tessa et al were very nice and friendly.

Their coffee is sooooo good! It might be the best cuppa coffee I've ever had! We returned to Nautical bean in Morro Bay to partake of some more of that delicious brew! It was foggy as usual, and what better place to beat the fog than in a warm, cozy coffee shop.? Especially one decorated with cute skate and surfboard themes and quirky decor! The cafe was crowded but a friendly and patient barista took our orders! My coffee was up right away and I sipped it while we admired the baked goods in the counter and waited a short time for them to be ready. I ordered my decaf coffee latte in a large size so I could savor it throughout the day. We then put in an order for an everything bagel and lox with cream cheese. My husband got his traditional breakfast sandwich to go along with his coffee. The coffee was the perfect match to the rich flavor of the lox and cream cheese everything bagel. My husband's breakfast sandwich was opulent and a generous size. We will return to this cozy cafe time and again for their wonderful coffee and accompaniments!

Walking in, you can tell this is a classic neighborhood café. There's nothing overly fancy about it--just a few tables, a small pastry case, and, of course, coffee. One thing that surprised me was the music choice. They were playing what sounded like punk rock, which felt a little out of place for the atmosphere of the café, especially since many of the customers appeared to be older adults. For my order, I went with a blueberry muffin and a cappuccino. The muffin was fresh and flavorful, and the cappuccino was well made. Overall, I was happy with both items. The reason I'm taking off a star is because the employee working during my visit used a lot of profanity while speaking. I understand that casual conversation happens, but I don't think that kind of language is appropriate in a café setting where customers are trying to relax and enjoy their coffee. Overall, I would recommend this place if you're looking for a quick grab-and-go coffee or pastry. The food and drinks were good, but the atmosphere wasn't ideal for sitting down to study, work, or have a conversation with someone.

We were lucky enough to snag the last almond croissant, and what a treat it was. The exterior had a sweet, delicate crunch, and with each bite, rich almond filling oozed out for the perfect balance of texture and flavor. It wasn't overloaded with powdered sugar, and the sweetness was just right--indulgent without being overwhelming. I also tried a slice of the salmon and leek quiche. It was light and fluffy while still feeling substantial and satisfying. The combination of savory salmon and sweet leek worked beautifully together. Whether you're starting your morning or looking for a midday pick-me-up, the quiche is a must-try. I was excited to try the house made mango-infused black iced tea, but unfortunately, there was nothing mango flavored about it That said, this bakery is still well worth a visit. Between the pastries and quiche, it is an easy stop to recommend when you're in Morro Bay.

I was surprised how flavorful the smoothie was, I don't know why I thought that but it did taste good, a bit pricy. I'm good with pricy and this was backed up with quality ingredients and stellar service. Ah...yes and supporting local business is good for everyone Thanks, I'll see you again! Foodguy-Martin

The person working there (owner?) Was hustling hard. She was working the register. Cleaning the tables. Handing out the food. Making the food and drinks in the back. She was a 1 woman wrecking crew. But still was able to get everyone's stuff out in a timely manner. Without sacrificing customer service. We ordered their chai latte and a black medium roast coffee. As well as a breakfast burrito and a rock harburrito. We forgot to tell her it was to go as we were trying to get back home before the LA traffic started. Imagine to my surprise when she came out with the food and it was to go!! The chai latte was really good. I loved it. And my wife really enjoyed it. Black coffee was good too. No frills. No fluff. But it kept me awake for the 4.5 hour drive home. So that works. The breakfast burrito was really good. My wife enjoyed hers. And mines was good too. Packaged really well. Ate it while driving so that really facilitated us getting home before the traffic. It was a very hearty burrito the rock harburrito. Gave us some green sauce to go with it. And it was just amazing. The inside is somewhat cramped with many tables and chairs. She also sells baked goods. And some random things. Like coffee mugs and other things. Nice signs all over the place as well as in the parking lot about the importance of coffee!! I really loved the hustle. And the food and drink was amazing. Not more you can ask for.
