My mom and I love taking a trip up north whenever we can and the most recent one was the end of June this summer. On our last day, we were walking around a bit before heading home and I stumbled into Cayucos Coffee looking for my next pick-me-up. I ended up getting an iced pistachio latte after talking to the barista a bit and I really enjoyed it! I'd come again for the coffee alone. But the barista was also really nice and I enjoyed talking to her a bit as well. Overall great experience!

We stopped in at Cayucos Coffee while in town visiting our grandparents. I had been before during the pandemic but this was the first time I had seen their full space. I love the vibe inside and were happy to have no line. The employees were very friendly and my vanilla latte was delicious. 10/10 recommend!

Fast service, tasty drinks, and nice ambiance. Love all the plants. Staff was very friendly and coffee came out fast even though it was a busy day.

Got a vanilla iced coffee, it was sooooo good and tasted great! Will definitely come back again. Atmosphere is very cute, open and inviting with seating area inside to enjoy a chat or do homework.

Coffee tasted burnt. Felt like the staff was more concerned about talking their personal lives with locals than helping customers.

White mocha latte and a London frog, not pictured was an exceptionally good cheese dish

Convenient spot for getting coffee on the go. Whether drip coffee or specialty coffee; excellent quality and taste. Pastries are delicious

The eggs were fluffy and creamy, the pastries were perfectly flaky, and every bite tasted fresh and homemade. The strawberry scone and almond croissant were especially delicious! I had a lovely tea and cappuccino while sitting on the cute patio area, which was spacious, relaxing, and very walkable to the beach. The service was wonderful too -- the ladies working there were so friendly and welcoming, and they had great music playing that made the whole atmosphere feel cozy and happy. You can really tell this place is locally owned and made with a lot of love. While we were in line looking over the menu, the staff greeted several customers by name and already knew their orders, which made it feel like such a genuine community favorite. Everything was top-notch -- 10/10, would absolutely recommend if you're visiting Cayucos!

It had a whole bunch of tomatoes. I do not eat tomatoes. I found no mushrooms in my slice. All of the tomatoes leaked their juices into the quiche so that the quiche did not set properly and was very runny. I was very disappointed. I would have returned it had I not had two dogs in tow. You can see in the photo that it is running and has all of these unexpected tomatoes on top. I love their outdoor seating area and that they provide doggy bowls and water. Service is always good. Unfortunately, quality varies per item ordered. The quiche was 12 dollars a slice. Pricey especially considering what I was served.
