Amazing coffee, great baristas, and great service. We were visiting when we found this place. Went there 2 days back to back to try different coffee drinks. Both times were amazing.

I'm kinda a snob about coffee - this place is solid. They are currently using Cat & Cloud. Great choice of roasters. Friendly service. Definitely recommend.

Nice morning spot for a cup of coffee. Very quick service and very nice spot with lots even other options for if yo want a full breakfast. Good spot would definitely go back!

Common Grounds located in the Paso Market Walk is a great place to order and enjoy an uncommon cup of feakin outstanding coffee! There are cups of coffee that are bad, ones that are good...but the Cafe Ole w/Orange Peel I had here was OUTSTANDING! Our Baristas today were Christopher (Owner) and Alan. Both went above and beyond in customer service from the explanations of the Common Grounds methodology in bean selection, to the preparation with a "foam flower" in the cup and the delivery of this deliciously spectacular brew. Then there was the story of the Siphon Brewer (a pretty spectacular looking piece of coffee preparing equipment) which I found fascinating. The baked goods in the display case all looked fresh and good, but again...our ordered French Toast Muffin was way beyond that (5/5 - down right yummy with the Cafe Ole w/Orange Peel ). Lots of seating available and the light and airy atmosphere of the Market Walk made this experience quite literally a superlative one. On this occasion, in this Yelper's opinion...Common Grounds truly earned this "highly recommend - ya think ya have a favorite coffee joint right now, give Christopher and his Barista Staff a try to see if they can change your mind" 5 Star review.

This used to be called Joe Bella but is now now Common Grounds. I love coming here for their Kyoto brew. I think it's a cold soak and then slow drip coffee. Not sure how they make it but it's amazing. The baristas are all so kind and great at recommendations. This visit, they offered to make the Kyoto brew with nitro and it made this favorite drink even better! I love coming here and will bring all my coffee lovers here.

The orange peel cappuccino is so tasty. It's unique, not too sweet, and the perfect way to start the day! Thank you!

Best cup of coffee since I got to California, and I've been buying and roasting coffee for 20 years. Good beans, good roasting, and FRESH!

Amstrdm Coffee House - Amstrdm breakfast sandwich

Funny thing is I found this shop by accident and I'm so glad I did. I was staying in Atascadero…read morelooking for a local coffee shop there and instead of hitting the one I thought was going to in my GPS, I accidentally hit Amstrdm instead. Even though it was a 15 minute drive up the freeway from where I was, it was worth every minute. The downtown area this shop is in was really cool, plenty of parking, and the moment you walked into this coffee shop you could tell it was going to be good. Lots of space, people sitting and having conversations, and a greeting from the Barista the second I walked through the door. I went with my standard iced oat milk latte with honey and a triple shot and it was perfect. I wish I could have drank it there because the inside of the shop seemed like a place you could hang out for a while. Unfortunately, I had to take it on the road, but that is a shop (if I lived in that area) I would drive out of my way to get to. Well done guys!

To be fair, we did order a latte, so that is partly expected. The breakfast sandwich was good but a little underseasoned and could have used a bit more flavor overall. The chicken pesto sandwich was the standout. The pesto was well balanced and did not overpower the rest of the ingredients, which made the sandwich really pleasant to eat. Overall, everything was solid, though slightly pricey for the portion sizes. The food was good, but nothing especially memorable. Still, it is a nice stop if you are in the area.

It was such a sweet spot for a morning coffee break. Order the Cafe Miel - basically a honey latte and so good. We ordered it as a cappuccino and it was perfect before a lengthy day of wine tasting.

We ordered a few iced lattes, a cappuccino, a mocha, london fog latte, and a hot chocolate. Both lattes I tried were tasty and not overly sweet. The coffee shop seemed a little under staffed when we went, as our drinks weren't quite ready, and the coffee bar area was running low in terms of napkins and lids. I also had to interrupt a transaction to request someone to add whipped cream for a hot chocolate. However, the customer service we received was friendly and efficient. We thought the outdoor patio seating was lovely and a great place to sit down with a friend or a book and enjoy a comfy beverage. The garden ambiance and plants/mini fountain were a nice touch too. It was a bit chilly when we visited, so we opted to sit inside. The indoor area has some seating, but felt a little cramped and less comfortable. The interior and decor seemed in line with overall vibe and aligns with the shop's name. It was a nice place to stop by for a quick refreshment and I'd likely return to try their other drinks next time I'm in the area.
