Glad to have stopped by to enjoy this excellent sheep milk ice cream before leaving Paso!…read more Been wanting to check out Negranti ever since tasted their lavender flavor at the Lavender farm when in the area some 2 years ago. Wife and kid didn't care for it, but I enjoyed that novelty flavor and the quality of the ice cream. So many more flavors were. Such a cute area, overall relaxing atmosphere in the Tin City lol. The first thing that hit as we entered the store was the smell of waffle cones! Wife immediately said we need to get waffle cones. Friendly young folks helped with samples and order. Got a cone to share with salted brown sugar & wife always chooses coffee. Both were delicious, creamy, superb quality, and very easy to digest, lol! Even my kid who usually doesn't eat regular ice cream went for the waffle cone with a cookie flavor and he ate it all by himself and loved it! He did not eat any other ice cream during spring break, and he still wants to have this sheep milk ice cream again. Something about sheep milk is just gentler on the body. Should have bought the kid Negranti again on the way down from Paso, when passing thru SLO. Oh well, if don't come back to Paso, maybe will have to get him if we ever go to Phoenix, AZ since I found a location there of all places! If can set up all the way in Arizona, please bring this down to the LA/OC area! Better yet, sell it in the markets, so I can pick it up in Walmart to keep my kid happy!!!

It was a little "icier" than traditional ice cream- but still super creamy and the flavor (mint chip) was so delicious. Helpful staff and super clean inside.

Road tripping and in the town of Templeton, CA. We passed by this two story barn looking building…read morewith signage... Templeton Donuts & Deli. They were open and we were feeling a bit peckish and can always make room for a donut or two. So we made a U turn and off we went. The shop is on a corner lot with its own parking lot. Plenty of street parking as well. As we walked in , I quickly saw the glass counter full of picture perfect, colorful donuts sitting pretty waiting for us. These donuts were beautiful. No crinkling and buckling in the frosting. Donut frosting is tricky to get smooth. So many different types of donuts making it hard to decide. We ordered a couple of cake donuts (vanilla with pink frosting and chocolate on chocolate) and a raised chocolate glaze. Mmm. The raised donut was light and airy with the prefect slight yeasty chew. The chocolate glaze was awesome. I've eaten a lot of donuts in my lifetime, these are 5 stars. Besides donuts they serve other pastries; scones, danishes, croissants, and cookies. Breakfast burritos and breakfast sandwiches $8.95. Quiche ( whole $29.95 or slice $6.95). Local Steins bagels $4 toasted with cream cheese. There is no seating indoors. There were a few tables out on the lawn.We sat at one of the outside tables under the big ole shade tree. Leisurely eating our donuts taking a slow down and soaking in life.

The locals came by to order: An old guy had an apple fritter. A couple kids biking to their first day at school had cinnamon bar and a Dr. Pepper, and a rainbow sprinkle and a Sprite. Another man had a dozen mixed. I had a chocolate peanut donut and a medium coffee for under 5 bucks. Templeton has a genuine small town feel: a sleepy Main Street (in another era Highway 101), a central park with a bandstand, quiet at night, and no streetlights. This shop is in a barn-like structure with 3 tables inside and some tables on the lawn outside, as opposed to a strip mall. (But there's a NRA sign on the lawn. Hmm. It is cowboy country.) A nice stop on the way home from a camping trip.

When you…read moreenter the little area, you're greeted and have a menu on the wall of this week's cookies. At the register they have the weeks selection on display. You pick what you want and then they pull it from warmers in the back and add the toppings. Then they show you them, if they are to your liking. The customer service was good. We ordered 2 Lemon Cupcake Cookies and 2 Butter Cakes. The Lemon Cupcakes were soft, with toasted edges. The frosting was light and creamy, with a refreshing lemon cutting through the sugary sweet. The Butter Cakes were cold, had to heat them up. They were completely that yellow, buttery, sugary cake, that melted in your mouth. The whipped topping was liquefied when heated but did add a nice creamy taste, almost like melted vanilla ice cream. *Overall, good, but a little steep*

Worst experience ever. Went in last night with family and wanted to get the kids a free cookie…read morebeing it was free cookie day. We were celebrating a birthday. Young lady at the front stated she was stressed and didn't have enough for our group even though she showed up three trays. She then went in the back called her manager finally came back out and said she could sell out and didn't have enough. There was a man which was a friend of hers standing there visiting with her. He asked my family for a lighter to smoke the cigarette in his hand. It's now been 10 minutes and other people were coming in. She said she didn't have enough cookies when clearly she did because she showed us the trays twice. We asked again for cookies and we wanted to buy some too. She said we were stressing her out, she then went to the back and made another call leaving over ten people in the store waiting. She called the police and told us we were being passive aggressive and asked us to leave the property with no cookies given. This was the strangest interaction I've ever had at a place like this.
